  1. I think nuketown is pretty awesome the way it is. Who needs 8 perks? I like the fact that it is a challenging map, without stuff like buildables to slow down the pace. I've heard other people say that it would be cool if mule kick dropped at round 30 or 40, I kind of like that idea. But my only complaint about this map is that they didn't make a grief mode for it. Would be an awesome grief map.
  2. Im on psn right now, add me

    Town High Scores

Just got 57 on co-op 2 player, about a 15.5 hour game. Had to call it quits, gotta sleep and I don't want to risk a time out.
  4. You pretty much have it, run one by stamin-up and one in front of the stairs to jug. Other two camp in the upstairs of the bar or by double tap, should decide this based on where white player is running. ( i.e. if white is at jug, two at double tap or vise versa)
  5. Only on solo...
  6. There are four perk machines plus the PaP- jug, speed cola, double tap and quick revive. They drop in random order, typically every four or five rounds. You will usually have all four perks and the PaP by round 26 or so, I want to say the latest I've seen it take is 28. A good strategy to use until jug drops is camping in the green house, down stairs with your back to the door near the bunker, which you keep closed. You can stack claymores up in the room as a safeguard and just buy the door if you're going to get trapped.
  7. Wish I knew where the train station was...
  8. Okay I'm just jumping into this and I haven't read through every post in this thread but anyways.. as far as I know the three "special powers" (only available in transit obviously) or unlockable perks, or whatever you want to call it are: perma-quick revive, bars instead of wood for widow building, and something similar to dead-shot. Perma-quick revive: you can get this by picking someone up repeatedly I've heard as much as 15 times or something. The first time I found out my friend intentionally went down so I could get it and it only took 4 tries (good guy), same deal with the green puff. Since then I've lost it once, since at the time we were still in the tombstone phase and turns out if you don't use it, you lose it. As a side note if you don't want to compromise your stats, I've found that you can just join the game with a second controller on a guest account so that no one is sacrificing downs. Haven't lost it since I got it back the second time because now I rarely let anyone die out without reviving in transit. Definitely carries from game to game. Bars: Unlocked by boarding x amount of boards in a game. I've heard 500. Will go away if you get carpenters or don't board the windows over a certain period of time. Zombies take longer to pull them off the window so they're definitely helpful. Comes and goes on and off all game, but I'm not a big window boarder myself, I imagine if you are you probably keep them all game but I don't think they carry to the next. Maybe someone can confirm/deny since as I mentioned I'm not hardcore with the windows. Dead-shot: Unlocked by getting either a total amount of headshots, or by shooting 3 guys in the head at the same time, the latter is more likely. I seem to get this sooooooo much, like over and over again when I use the python/cobra which is pretty often. Goes away when I use my raygun, comes back when I use the python and line up 3 heads. Once it's on, I'll shoot them in the chest/foot and it will still blow their head off, but does NOT count as a headshot UNLESS your actually pointing at their head. Seems like when its on the headshot box (i.e. area in which a head shot registers) is bigger. Don't think this carries from game to game but typically I'm in the late rounds using a ray when the game ends so tough to say. Pretty confident about all of these..

  10. But I still agree with the minimum total kills thing.
  11. Not a bad thought. The combination of where you rank with all of your rounds and all of your stats (kills, downs, doors, gibs, head shots, all of it) in comparison to the total pool of players. Could be it!
  12. Why would someone start a new account just to be in your clan?
  13. says the guy who reset his stats...
  14. Yeah I hear ya, lamest shit ever dude. If I started a new account and was only going for stats my kdr would be stupid. You can tell the lame-o's who started new accounts by total kills and whether or not they have decent records on survival, grief, BO1 etc.
  15. I would say this is wrong. I have around a 160 kdr but have shotties.
  16. Just want to say, i successfully did this. Now when I play transit sometimes red sparks circle around the gun in the box and around the lights in the town.. probably other spots too haven't noticed. I heard if you do the Rictofen one there are glowing orbs that do the same.
  17. How can you claim ignorance when as soon as you get in the lobby you can view your stats. How long did it take you to figure that out? Your the only one I've seen that is actually complaining about it, everyone else is just speculating as far as I've seen. If they are good players, they can manage to clean up their kdr. A stat reset button sounds pretty lame to me... just my opinion.
  18. I have a round 50 best on co-op (town) last night but My KD is not high enough. A friend of mine has everything 250KD, 50+ as his best round. We are both still stuck at Skull with dagger. At this point all I can say is it's a combination of following in an order. 1 Kills to Down ratio. 2 Downs to revive ratio. 3 Highest round on Solo and Co-op. 4 Average number of kills per game. 5 Wins Loss Ratio in Grief 6 Percentage Head Shots 7 Grenade Kills/ Gibs / Miles/ Other stats I just want to reaffirm that I really don't think its all of that. Just to prove a point I'll put in all my stuff, and as I mentioned I just got my shotties the other day. Kills 70553 Bullets fired 334240 Downs 439 Revives 558 Grenade kills 6404 Head shots 21228 Deaths 173 Gibs 98356 Prior to that I had a 4 player match on Transit in which we went to level 39, I had 2977 kills, 1789 head shots,4 downs and 17 revives. You would think that, that kind of a match would subsequently be grounds for shotties... but no. Because, I went down at like round 8 because we stayed at the diner to point up for knuckles and I was on like rocky 2-3 bar connection. My overall stats haven't improved, if anything declined slightly over the last week or two from doing stuff like grief, ee, bus depot, etc.. I have a friend with shotties with less kill and more downs than me, and he's had it for weeks and the case has been the same with his kdr vs mine.
  19. Honestly dude, I got the game the night it came out and played it for like 12 hours straight exploring. All the downs counted.. at first we were playing custom 2 man games, because we didn't realize they wouldn't count on the leader board yet. Since I had a bunch of extra vacation time that I needed to use up, I planned ahead and took the whole week of the release off planning to play the hell out of zombies. I don't go on youtube and watch other people strategies, games, channels, etc. I just play. I've done plenty of pioneering myself, even though I might not post tons of stuff on here,so please get off it with your tangent. If you care enough and you can't turn around your stats, start a new account.
  20. Meh.. doing the easter egg, playing bus depot they add up quick.
  21. Kills: 70,550 Downs: 430 k/d: 164 Highest round in solo or co-op: 47 Emblem or Rank: Skull w/ shot guns Just figured I'd add, since I was really unsure of exactly how the system works, in order to get top rank (skull w/ shotties) I don't think it based on overall kdr. In order to get the skull w/ daggers I think you need three games in which you get 1,000 kills without dying. To get the skull w/ shotties, I think you need three games in which you get 2,000 kills without dying. I've developed this theory because I had friends on my list with the skull/shotties and compared my overall kdr with theirs. Since mine was higher, I had a feeling it wasn't about overall. After hearing recently that it was based on a single game, or three game performance, I did a three man on transit. I played at the diner for many of the rounds, which if you know, that's where they spawn the fastest. We only went to round 35, but I ended up with 2,200 kills before I died and after the game I had my shotties. I'm pretty sure that isn't the first time I've had a 2,000 kill game without dying, actually I know for sure of at least one other instance, but that was solo. So in short, based on what I've seen its possible that you might only need one game where you get 2,000 kills without dying, but it needs to be in co-op. Blue eyes are just about activity, if you don't play for a day or two you lose your blue eyes. I haven't had time to play since Sunday and I just checked before posting this and my eyes are gone but I still have the skull with shotties. This isn't the first time that I've lost my blue eyes after not playing for a day or two.
  22. Others might argue that once they've got their money, they don't need to do anything about the cheaters. (like in BO1)
  23. Yeah, I hear ya. I find two player matches to be quicker and more reliable. In case you guys don't know, if you want to do a 2 player match: You and your friend both turn on a second controller. Join public match and ready up, when the timer counts down, turn off the 2nd controller (should be logged in as guest)
  24. Nice job on 47 Kutmah. Thanks. Finally tied my solo transit record that didn't count for anything when my PS3 froze up!
