  1. No. Nuketown. No EMP's/
  2. I do not think so. Wait, maybe I did. It was in back corner right in front of the back door. Hard to remember. Went down for the 2nd or 3rd time and went to get Jug. Came out from the fenceline and dropped like I was shot. I wonder whether the machine was already not working and I somehow did not notice. And when they got me up I tried to buy it and it failed. So I did get Trey'd. Damn. It was a great lobby. I need to look for some people from here/.
  3. Well, it's good company to have.
  4. Scenario: 1. Nuketown 2. Round 29 3. Multi-player Random Lobby 4. 4 players still all in 5. Not a Custom map 6. 2/3? of the way through round 7. Great lobby - we continue to scrap and get each other up 8. Behind Yellow house 9. Jug there 10. After purchasing Jug, I do not know how many times, I approach the machine and it will not let me buy it. Just went down again. All 4 of us, the 4th just bled out, are there. Steps: 1. Try to buy it 2. Question machines ancestry 3. Try to buy it again 4. Shoot some Zombs 5. Try to buy it again 6. ARRRGGGGHHHH 7. Tear out of room and cross map to try another perk. It works. 8. Back behind yellow I try Jug again. No. 8. Downed player watching. He is just as confused and almost as angry and frustrated. Since I was the best armed/ammoed player left and I spent time running myself around looking to get back in the game it doomed us. And this is one of the best and most round oriented teams I have yet to play on Nuketown. Dead in Round #29. Did we get Treyarched? Or is there some reason anyone knows? I looked around and could not find an answer. And never remember hearing anything like this. And yes, I had lots of money.
  5. Round 10. No downs. Got the tomahawk. Most doors open. Working on Bridge. Go down in Cafeteria because God does not love me enough. Okay. Have 3 Revives left. Lose all 3. Get to next round. 1 left. Money low now. Go down on dock trying to get Jug. Cut myself. Revive. Die on doubleslap with only 5 left and 3950 in bank. Curse the Gods. And come here. -Why does God hate me? -How do you get these bastiches off you when you r playing Solo? -Where r Tom and Superhands? -How much wood would a woodchuck chuck? -Since they prorate you in Solo is there a strategy to staying alive? AS IT IS KILLING ME ON FAR HIGHER ROUNDS REPEATEDLY ON SOLO. Inquiring minds want to know.
  6. Would really like to see yours or anyone else's video's for some suggestions.
  7. Glad to get some initial confirmation. 1. Yes, the Roof on DR should be runnable. 2. The sidestepping zombs are nasty. Good point.
  8. Ugh. Got in a match with someone on MOTD and one of them was real good. Usually a chance to get pumped up and play like a Boss. And after the horrid weekend of Zombies, (seriously never seen it this bad: rage quits, screamers, trolls, I think a 4 year old named "Pistachio" once, general incompetence, a level of stupid that would make anyone else cringe and bad language used in the wrong lobbies at the wrong time) this game seemed perfect. And I could not stay up. After about 17 rounds, with only an issue at the bridge, my money started hemorrhaging and my patience started to seriously fray. Do not consider myself an angry gamer. And 98% of the time I am patient with others and usually myself. Found that disappearing down the rabbit hole as I could not stay up for long. And my frustrations with BO II were hard to let go. So if anyone has some help. Some ideas. Seen the same thing. Wanted to pass along a story. Vent. Tell me I'm wrong. Please. Just hearing some opinions would be appreciated. What is the thing that is causing me to ponder reflex-throwing my controller? We had an update that changed the mechanics of the zombies. And it is literally killing me. Way too often. I noticed it on Farm on the night of the update. Got caught from behind and slapped down without Jug. Never remember that kind of Down before. And many more were to follow. It seems that hoarding / training zombs was different. They were more active and willing to drop you right away. ie. 2 zombs in a hallway and you make a move to go around ... SPLAT ... hit the ground. The first few days were simply awful. Had a horrid time playing and once you throw in an unknown that creates indecision there is no end of how bad you can play. And it became a literal tipping point for whether I could let it go and keep playing or walk away from it entirely. Personally, if true, I felt betrayed and angry. You keep all kinds of quirky in-game habits in place, ie. wallguns and perks that will ignore your suggestion that they be bought when in a rush, but the basic movements of the zombies are a changeable option. So here we are 2 DLC's and Nuketown later and I let it go. Played a lot. And never felt I received an answer here or elsewhere as to these supposed changes. And there must be some basic gameplay that I am bringing from BO I that simply does not work well here. I am dropping where it never happened before with any regularity. Cutting back or trying to screen shake them (this is still a project at the time. )is not working often enough to get trusted. What I believe I have seen pretty regularly on BO II zombies: 1. They are more prone to double-slapping. A lot more. 2. There are places on maps that I cannot run far into the 20's before disaster will strike. And they should be fine places to run. The Roof on Die Rise / The Dock on MOTD. 3. Zombies in trains seem to often behave as if they are lulled to sleep a bit. The first and last one seem more dangerous. And any stragglers you are trying to train coming in late are lethally dangerous for a slap. Or two. A few days ago I had bled out on MOTD as the rest had gone to the bridge. On the dock. Came back next round with low cash (a ray gun and boring early rounds for too long will bite you on the backend if you go down a few times) and bought the Tommy. Got enough for Jug. Went down the back alley next to Jug. Cut back a few times to group 'em and went down the far wall. They were not really trained yet. Maybe 15 zombs. And about 6 able to hit me. Got slapped the heck up by seemingly all of them and hit the ground. I was so angry it surprised me. Are we facing a game almost unplayable without Jug? Or are long slow curls around the Cafeteria or Shower the only way? How does this affect the playability of this game? Or have I been creating fiction in my head and nothing has changed? Look forward to any comments. And if negative I put on my big boy pants to be prepared.
  9. Did not know that. Cool. And the above video was great.
  10. Have not tried the Blundergat yet, trying for it now with the upgrade. But I agree with the EC comments. It seems useful early. But I noticed later that crawlers were showing up for no reason. Then pieced together that it was the EC making 'em. Which seemed counter productive as opposed to helpful. Will try Deadshot.
  11. Initial obsv's: Complicated I KEEP GETTING LOST! Map looks like it might be huge. Never had DLC on Day #1. It is outstanding. This easily looks like the most diverse map we have seem for Zombies. Playabilitywise (yes, it is a word ). Are we allowed *Spoilers* here or is there a better place?
  12. A good sentiment. Thanks and you too. Run those trains.
  13. We were playing nuketown. think it went on around 6 am est. There were 3 scores on solo and that was all. nerfguncrazy? ... 4 rounds. 26 kills. NUMBER #1 IN THE WORLD.
  14. Thanks. Went looking for it. Assumed midnite. Waiting.
  15. So it is still not moved. And both Nuketown Forums are inert. 16 total threads. Maybe for many of you this is old news from November. But the DLC for Nuketown was just released. So I would imagine there are a lot of new players for it. Therefore it should be findable and not buried. Do I really need to go online and find another Forum to discuss this map? I will but would rather not. CODZ seems to really not care that this map is out. And I find it strange. From a personal standpoint I like the idea of Transit, Grief and Turned. And hope in the future to play maps based on their idea. But for now I do not play them much and will probably not see that change. I consider Die Rise and Nuketown to be actual survival maps. Nuketown with historical meaning and resonance. Can we get some respect for it here?
  16. Similar to the buildable weapons, Moon needs teamwork. And it can often get stupid really fast. To go back to earth you need to get on the teleporter. A perk is down there and the PAP machine. If all the players do not get on it, then it does not work.
  17. We are 6-0-1 so far. Democracy?
  18. Never got more than about 1800 in the first round. Maybe one p/u drops. And not on the first zomb. Your max is unreasonable, but a good challenge.
  19. It's a great map, but real hard. There are a lot of things NOT to do. Grenades break windows. Unless you want gravity defying zombies ... avoid. When you find the labs. Get out of there. Bad place. Run the Biodome. Real easy. Do not let roof get excavated. Read up on the Hacker tool. And watch Chopper run "No Man's Land." ChopperRated on youtube. He is a boss. As my son would say.
  20. Oh yes. Please, please, please.
  21. Will do. So far ... no clue. Perks seem to drop random. In round 20 and still missing one. And it has been at least 5 rounds since I have seem one show up. Seems more round related than kills or points.
  22. i have several threads in it. I was just reading them. Trying to do math in my head (I H8 MATH) and see if the perk drops are point based. ie. 5000 points gets a perk. So far my math is failing me.
  23. Damn, that would be nice if it happened more often. Will check out your channel. Sounds like you were playing with a 6 year old. Last nite my friend did not want to be on the mic. So he goads me into it. The lobby opens and a voice like "a 6 year old" says "Do you want to be my fwend?" Needless to say my friend will still laugh if I say that. And probably always will.
  24. Playing Nuketown last nite my friend was really complaining about the Hamr. And he went down a few times screaming bloody murder. I guess he was right. The gun was firing all over the place and he got overrun. And yes. Recoil is obv important.
