  1. Can we move the Nuketown Forum into the Black Ops II area with the other maps? Yes, I know it is in the "Map Discussion" area. And it's tanking. There are literally no threads in it as I believe no one can find it. ***Now with Added user friendly poll. if it worked.

  4. Trying to fully understand the WW perk. Trying not to troll and hope it is related enough. In the Buddha room in round 20. Solo. Had all perks. Erred and got taken down off a pillar. Having got WW as a free perk for my 6th, I WW'd. Appeared on the balcony ... behind 3 zombies ... pinned immediately ... game over. :cry: So. 1. Had a moment to look. There was a zombie huddle all around my body. Not sure he was ever getting up. 2. Showed up on the map in a horrid spot. Ugh. Useless and unlucky? 3. Had QR. Where did it go? Would obv rather simply kill the area with a M @ S and go from there than deal with this kind of a perk effect. 4. Could someone explain how this works? Been looking for an old thread or new one that relates to post this question. Could not really find one.

  6. I'm saying coincidence. Ever since I started jumping to the right, I haven't been downed by the shaft. First of all. Bacon. Second of all since the update the AN glitch keeps happening. WAY too often, as it was rare before. :cry:

  8. if things like rank in a video game have that big of an adverse affect on your day to day life, i'd say that probably is for the best Cheap excuse to blame the player and not the game builder. And an uncalled for cheapshot. I'm ticked off with Activision for some of these mistakes. I'm personally angry with you.

  10. In agreement with OP. 1. Should be able to choose lobbies for 2,3, or 4 players or do not even offer boards for those amounts of players. Stats other than rounds mean little. Rank system we know is flawed. For rounds we need to play with 2, 3, or 4 people. 2. Do not consider Town or Farm real zombie maps so do not play too often anymore. Do not like Transit. So only Die Rise to play. Not a lot of options. 3. And no quick leaderboard at pregame. Love Die Rise mostly.
  11. Really good point. This thread has made me relook how to setup a game with Randoms. When does someone leave to run an area separately? It may be the most important question for the reasons stated above.
  12. To answer your question I hate shooting windows. And any strategy that takes up too much time doing just that. I understand simply trying to pound out rounds, but it makes me just horribly unhappy. And I will not do it for long. Which has started more than a few online arguments. 1. Most Randoms who want to shoot windows or camp in a corner could not run a train if they had the hat and a conductor's license. It's not a comment that is meant to be derogatory but rather descriptive. If WE do not hold down this area like this I'M going to die soon. PLEASE (you jackbutt) do as we are telling you to do. 2. As one of the comments above said, it is a terminal idea. We will need to split up somewhat if we are to go long. And unless you Go Bag is packed, hopefully as a team, then we are going to die too soon. 3. Don't get me wrong. Being unwilling to run the Buddha room too long or use the Squilk gun very often, I have not yet found out how long I can run Die Rise. But so far blasting away on the roof has been about the most fun so far. Often just a ton of fun.

  15. Jumping back to the TrampleSteam room from the top of the tower my character collided with someone else. We both fell like rocks. And as expected someone else was watching and started laughing. The not funny part was it did not come back. We checked the original spawn place. The area where we fell from and the areas around where we fell past. Then the entire rest of the map. Gone.
  16. Thank you both for your comments. This thread started from the galva discussion. Trying to find some way to offer a possible competition. Or at the least to have us talking about it and see if, as a group, we could agree on a set of rules that seemed fair. I feel firmly that we need to consider Team play as much as a Solo idea. The basis of zombies has always seemed to me to be a team game. Sometimes the team was the ideas and options brought about on this site. But I just finished playing a bunch of fun games with some Randoms that are now on my friends list. Team building has to always be an important part of the game. Sometimes it really does not work. And sometimes you meet cool new people. And anyone wishing to help in any way will be able to help. The team starts here.
  17. Imagine a contest to prove who is the best? Leaderboards? We don't need no stinking leaderboards. Well, actually we would need them. How to organize a contest that would pit players against each other. Some way of seeding this so the top leaderboard players would fight it out. In the cage. Ideas & Possible Rules 1. 64 * 64 = 4096 of the top leaderboard players - 2 player as this will be head to head (round robin style?) 2. Die Rise - new map - lots of room 3. Nerf the goo gun or fix it so no escalator issues 4. Winner posts the latest round played - if tied then points wins 5. Possibly team based tournament also - brings revives into it? (or give 3 Revives for Solo game) 6. Maybe nerf all the God guns depending on map 7. A tournament for all the maps 8. No trolling? Allow trolling? Judging committee? 9. Any way to use stats other than leaderboards for rounds played to choose players. 10. Matches would have to be played fast. Meaning you would have to play your next match quick. Time limits to play. Any ideas? Good idea? Some basic rules we could agree on that could build into something tempting?
  18. I find it wrong for people to think that caring about a score is not an important part of any game or competition. We keep score. The game keeps score. There's a reason for that. Should it be the be all and end all to gaming? No, of course not. Not having fun and playing in a manner you do not enjoy, cannot help but end badly. But we have scores and some great players on this site. And I'd like to see them at the top of leaderboards because they earned it. And anyone whose score is far down because someone else glitched / spawned or whatever does not deserve to be there. Simple as that. And when I checked out the leaderboards a few days in and saw top scores in the 130's already ... who are we kidding? Treyarch should also have seen it and I am disappointed they could not simply fix the issue and wipe all those scores. I know it takes time and money to do these things, but managing your site and your game is also your responsibility.

  20. I understood you meant just this map. Being someone who watched your No Man's Land runs, along with my son, I knew you wanted some place that offered a high velocity challenge. Still trying to get my game where I want it to be, I initially loved then hated then loved then hated now love the map. It sets up 3 more releases that are actual zombs map coming up. (no pressure) Thanks. We both here look forward to moar vids.
  21. Knowing some of your reputation and skill level, that is one heck of a statement. Willing to share some of what you enjoy so much. I saw a lot of comments you made during the BO II release that was mostly disappointed in the the entire thing.
  22. Thanks. And to throw this out we were playing with a Random who setup near a hole in the wall that had a deadfall behind him. He placed the Trample to partially cover himself to his right and proceeded to finish the round while the Trample shot Zombies away when they walked on it. The other 3 of us had gone down and we were all watching. It was hilarious and very successful. Seems like a good idea to keep it onhand for emergencies when an area goes bad. Feel like I may be trolling and hope not. Sorry if I am. It seemed in the same area of topic. When do the zombs attack it? How many hits does it take? And will it most always shoot you to a possible location? The first time we used it I jumped back a few minutes later and got shot right back by it. Seemed to land safely ... somewhere. Moved my controller in surprise. And fell to my death. With my son and I laughing hysterically in surprise. :lol:
