*Super's Hybrid 90 Sec PaP Strategy; Kill-Maximising Method*
bbc5791 replied to Superhands's topic in No Mans Land (NML)
[brains] Thanks Superhands! I will try this! -
Well I sat down and spent 47 minutes in No mans land this week...got jugg and mustang and sally...BUT I have no idea how many kills I had! I went ahead and played the moon until round 18 or so but needed to go eat dinner. Looked at the leader boards later and no updates. Hopefully it shows up or I'll never no. Stupid leader boards. I'm sure it won't be anything near a record but hoping something near 100.

People leaving game when you're host questions

No No, maybe I say it more clear: You start with 4, and 2 leave. So you are two left. To get your score counting, you both guys, that are still ingame, must die! So that the end music plays where you see the stats. Then it will count! So even when 1 or 2 guys left, you still can do a highscore attempt. The only thing will be, that it will say "4 players" in the leaderboard, just cause you started off with 4 players. And the leaderboard is made so that when there is a 4ppl and a 2ppl game of the same round, the 4ppl will count weaker. Yeah as long as the two 2 people left aren't you and your split-screen partner. My wife and I broke down and bought another copy of black ops so that we could play together (and as long as one of us is host) without worrying about people dropping out and screwing us up. We already had two ps3s so it made perfect sense Hopefully with the next game we get some more features on this front and better leaderboards. -

Thanks for the helpful answers. I'm disappointed that we don't get credit for going into higher rounds just because the other players dropped out. -
Okay, so I have a couple questions that have probably been addressed before but not sure so I'm starting a new thread. First of all, I usually play COTD with my wife - so we are a split screen pair, but we always play online. We are also often the host. 1) We got to round 33 the other day and quit because we'd been playing for way too long. Up to around 27 or so we had two other players with us but they died and quit. Because we were the host we got to keep going. Now the leaderboards do not show my level 33 (just shows previous high of 30). Is that because the other people left? WE always just assumed if we were the host we could just keep playing and it would record our high level score. 2) This happened twice in the same game: We kill George, I get the Wunderwaffe, and then something happens where I lose the gun but still have the power up symbol (death machine) on my screen. Also, I cannot switch my weapon, nor can I revive or anything else. Just like I still have the Wunderwaffe but just not the actual weapon. The second time this happened I picked up a death machine and when it went away I went back to my normal weapons/status. But the first time I was stuck in that crappy Wunderwaffe mode wihtout the weapon.

On COTD I catch a lot of crap for opening up all the doors, especially the bottom lighthouse door. I always go straight for the sickle so I prefer to go ahead and open things up down there to get maximum zombies in the lighthouse area. I know the glitcher folks want to keep that closed for obvious reasons (which makes me want to open it up even more), but I find a lot of other people want it closed. However, I feel like it's best to just open up everything. I can get everywhere much faster, especially when I need to revive someone. And for the reason I stated above. So, all you pros and high level folks (I've only gotten to level 30, mostly due to time constraints), please tell me how I'm wrong or if you agree.

Found this website the other day after searching for some zombie tips online. Lots of good stuff here. I'm kind of an older guy (36yrs old) and have gotten into zombies more recently. COTD really got me interested in the zombie mode and that is the map that I play the most. In fact, I rarely play the other maps at all. One of the main reasons I exclusively play COTD is that my wife has also gotten into this game and this is the only map she really likes. She's very insecure about her playing ability so she likes to stick with what she knows. She's actually gotten pretty damn good at it. Our high round is 30 but we know we can get higher we just generally have to stop playing after a couple hours cause we're busy people. Looking forward to learning some stuff from all the pros here on this board and asking some questions. And don't hate on all split-screeners!
