What do you guys think of Origins at the moment?
Stop Mocking Me0 replied to Fluxanda's topic in Origins
The shangri la's easter egg in BO1 was the hardest IMO of the three (not including accession's that one may have exceeded shangri la) But it was possible to do with any four people.... You try doing the buried EE with randoms? FORGET ABOUT IT! It's impossible because there's always A player who can't hit his targets, shoots leroy, quits or some other annoyance.... I would take the Shangri-la EE over the Buried EE any-day... The die rise one was simple from the start, and even simpler with the bank now.... Round 1: Take the elevator to the bottom, everyone grabs a key, takes 10000 points out their bank and turns on power.... Then two people stay near their elevators on this building, two others climb to the second building... Everyone uses their key on an elevator, then steps on it for easy link-age. Then the other step with the other tiles is done. Then have one guy build the seliquifier while one guy gets the SVU and the two others build tramplesteams. Snipe the dragons, wet the orbs, and palce your tramplesteams. Round 3: after a round or two of killing zombies with tramp. the tower will light up and you can save a zombie again, have one guy train the zombie while everyone else looks for mahjong tiles and one guy buys galvas. Then knife the tower and BAM! Die rise is done... For maxis it's a bit more complicated (and i don't know it) but fairly similar, worse case sinario you finish on round 5-10. Buried: Round one: Save a zombie, open bank, release leroy, get jug, get paralizer, get time bomb, get galvas, open up what you can with booze, build guillotine, paralyze orbs, collect lantern, fill with ghosts, place on roof, do wisp step: Round 2: compleate the round Infinity step, save a zombie, hit the levers (takes forEVER), then spend an even LONGER time learning, shooting and failing at the target step... So yeah technically this easter egg could be done on round 2 but it takes about four times as long and if ONE guy quits you're screwed! In die rise, after the trample steam has been placed you dont need a fourth guy anymore.... -
Or perhaps we don't need to kill either one, we just need to power a tower here in the past that will corrupt the towers in the future, so when one pushes the button again the process messes up and we get a common ending. Such as the grand evil taking control.... OR gersh... Or maybe perhaps we aren't even in 19--, we're in present day... We're just living a memory in some kind of virtual reality the O4 were put in. Perhaps even by the Vrill in argartha... If we chose maxis we escape because he opens it up and we can leave... If we chose richtofen we get a different ending....

What do you guys think of Origins at the moment?
Stop Mocking Me0 replied to Fluxanda's topic in Origins
It's a prequel, so it shouldn't tie into the towers. That will probably be in the next game. Then all the work for the towers was completely in vain, it does not matter what we did, we got no proof we did it, we got no satisfaction for doing it. All we got was a pointless fire sale, special zombies, and mule kick + for one game... That's NOT a good enough award for the buried easter egg... That took more time, effort, and coordination then the shangri-la EE, and THAT gave us the key to blowing up the earth, what did the buried one do? Give us a horrible split ending that feels like a total waist of our time.... If there is no tie-in to the button in DLC 4 (which i can imagine many ways it could), I have lost all hope for the zombies storyline and BO2 would be a dead game in my book... -

Stop Mocking Me0 replied to Fluxanda's topic in Origins
Personally I think there is NOTHING stopping this map from being truely amazing, however I am DEEPLY concerned of the storyline aspect... If it doesn't tie in with the burried Easter egg... Well that seems like a lot of work put into the towers for not much reward... We didn't even get an acheivement.... -
ORIGINS linked to K.D.T. *Picture Evidence
Stop Mocking Me0 replied to captinslog's topic in Origins
Am I the only one that thinks these machines may be helping us? It's a long shot, but maybe we have out selves a freind... it seems a bit odd that a giant monstrocity like that would be a huge problem.... -
The box in the back of the courthouse (Speed cola)
Stop Mocking Me0 replied to TheBSZombie's topic in Buried
That's smart I can think of many ways it could connect to the final map.... And I KNOW no one wants to do the buried Easter egg a second time... -
I am at borderline with you... One more little slip up and I would have accused you of copying PTG's supposed "leaked info" that's been spread all over you tube like butter on toast... But, most of this is pretty similar... But I can't accuse you of not being original... Your off the hook this time... I like your ideas about the robot...

Previous:http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=138&t=34799 New map idea: Necromancy! This map, while available to everyone, can only have its Easter egg done after completing the RICHTOFEN side of the bo2 Easter eggs... Like other maps, this one has two Easter eggs: One richtofen, however THIS time the other one is samantha... Playing as the Orignal four characters, Tank, Takeo, Nikolai, And RichtoSAM, you start off in a brand new way: As a fa-reaking zombie! Blue-eyes and all! Much like the "afterlife" mode of MOTD, the zombie system works similar, yet different... But I'm getting ahead of myself.... You start off as a zombie, and there's only one way to return human: Finding life, in death, and as it happens, odd artifacts all over the map will restore your body to its former glory... Simply hold X on the knife and it will wind into your skin backwards, taking you with it! Watch as your beloved zombies characters are returned to normal! But.. Now here's the next question: Where are you? You are in a dark-cloud covered weird world where gravity is all KINDS of out of wack! Amist the clouds are ships, planes, an abandon city, and enormous globe, (the size of a building) and of course, flaming purple meteors flying out of the black abyss of above... Or is it below? You started out in an odd flat floating disk (UFO like) ... Quick revive, and the typical starting weapons can be found on the floor... To move one one will need to jump across sinking debree while avoiding the zombie's climbing out of floating government vehicles.. Eventually one will leap onto either and old ship or begin traversing the igloo... The old ship is fairly basic: Climb up the broken mask and run over to an over-turned double tap (still working), or open the hull to find a buildable table along with a massive hole leading to what appears to be a nuclear power plant... In the power plant, you will find this is actually a chunk of the CHERNOBLY nuclear reactor..... Why, and how, Is it here? Anyway walk inside and find your old freind: Stamin up! As well as a box location. Speaking of the box here are the traded weapons: Exicutioner: Old pirate's pistol 5-7 (both DW and SW): small WW2 era pistol (like the Mauser but better) Extra explosive: Black-O2.42H charge: This re-skinned shock-charge will shock a zombie and, much like the seliquifier, will spread from zombie to zombie and once it can't spread anymore will implode the zombies toward the charge and bring any drops or downed players with it... Making it easy to revive teammate (as the zombies would be dead) and just generally awsome Wonder weapon: The angry elephants: Wrist lazer cannons, capible of blasting whole hordes to kingdom come! (Not as strong as the thunder gun, duel weilded) Moving on, the next area you can gain access to would be the floating bridge, a short cobblestone bridge... Not much to talk about, but at the end of the bridge is a drop to this: The globe... Here's where gravity gets fun! By running on the globe you spin it, spinning it will pull forth help, but be carefull! You CAN slip and fall to your death! You can find on the globe, either a box location, a hole in the ground, or The new perk: Element Spirits: This perk will cause little elemental wisps to appear around the map at random, touching one will award you with backwards amo: Shooting will actually refill your gun (Although it won't help maim the undead)... It also protects against fire and eletric damage (Fire is found in the nuke. Plant and in the igloo, electricity is found in the city.. The next bit is the biggest: The city, consisting of three little rooms (one with a building table) and a temple.., In the temple is an alter... Using the alter will have the same effect as in MOTD: Death... Kinda... See this alter makes one into a zombie, which CAN be shot by teammates and CAN kill teammates! But why would one want to become a zombie: Easy they can access areas normal people can't: Behind barriers, holes in ceilings... The way to become human again is by finding an artifact: There are 5 in the map, and only one alter... The knife (Spawn), the Skull (Ship), the Fire (Igloo) The noose (In jail in town) and the pistol (Fallows the being) The downside to being a zombie: You can't kill other zombies, you can't get perks or weapons, you can't open doors, and you can't risk your teammates being trolls... If you return to the ship as a zombie you can now access behind the barrier in the hull of the ship, inside you can find galvaknuckles and a skull... Hold X on the skull for it to sort of voodoo it's self into your head, twisting it's way arround until you are un-killed , to exit simply take the ladder up to the poopdeck, which was previously in-accessible... Return to the town to find an eletric barrier that you can't walk into but zombies can get arround it... Using that and your amazing jumping ability, you can reach the noose, which will un-hang you and breath life back into you, you can now purchase Juggernog! To leave simply hit the power switch, turning off the barrier and making it possible to get through... Now, when ready, climb the stairs of the temple to reach a massive hole, jump into it and you'll wake up in front of an odd blood-red cloud of mist, chained by energy, beneith the sourse of the meteors: A massive black hole in the sky... Not sucking things in but spitting things out... Zombies won't enter the mist, and if you do you can pack a punch... In the mist however, things will lurk in the red... Horrible tenticle-covered, monstrocitys... Three to be exact... If one catches you, mash melee and RUN! These things are like denizens but MUCH worse... They dont allow you to escape a second time in the mist.. Eventually you will walk among the wall, if you have done richtofen's side there will be a blue glowing crack here... Near that will be an angel statue over a pit of water, stepping in it will respawn you back at the begining: Baptism: In necromancy: Return to your ship: 5gs bronze Now if you had chosen to fallow the igloo: it's a big igloo, like the size of the powerstation... There's a frozen (unaccessable) speed cola machine here as well as many questionable machines and circuitry... And a building table... Leaving the igloo will bring you to the final area: The box.. You enter the box (apartment building) from its open roof... But by walking along the edge of the box will actually reveal there are world-portals and you are stuck here... The only exit is to climb your way back up out of the box using the collapsed roof, once outside, one can find the code to the right path... Once you're out you'll find a PHD Flopper perk for you as well as the roof of one of the town's buildings... Buildables: Healing cannon: A turret that will actually heal a player after taking damage faster, as well as revive downed teammates.,, unfortunately it's life span is EXTREAMLY low... The bible: Having this will keep the monsters of the red mist run away when looked at... Perma-perk: Playing as the O4 you don't get the perma-perk upgrades you had DIRRECTLY: However, with this buildable here one can buy perma perk (2000)making it so: Red insta-kill is active if one survives one instability without killing and grabbed the insta kill Half off- is active durring double points Carpender awards iron boards all the time Perma tombstone: Works differently: The first max amo you get after going down will award you with one of your perks back.... Fire sale awards the teddybear perk Nukes will get Perma-PHD to return until you take fall damage (or buy PHD) And lastly: the bug zapper, a melee weapon, smashing this against zombies combines the sheild effect with electric cherry: making an eletric sheild arround your back and sides that will stun zombies that slap it! Easter egg time: For this easter egg you would have needed to compleate richtofen's side of the buried Easter egg. Richtofen's side: Basically, richtofen finds he can't control other bodys, so he goes and searches for his old one, which we know is in argartha! (that's where this map is held) He offers to release the O4 with their help... To start off you must "release the entity" to do this have a player with a bible a healing cannon and a player with a bug zapper enter the red mist... The fourth player as a zombie needs to then enter the mist and fallow the entity when it leaves... Place down the cannon near the safe area arround PAP, then have the bible player equip their bible and hold RT on the machine, the last player just needs to run arround in the mist creating sparks... This will draw out the demon which will run to the next area, when the zombie gets there the red orb will become a gun, by holding X they un-shoot themselves and now have access to the item back here: A scroll peice, bring this to the wall and add it to it... The next step requires a player to "recharge" the entity by simply killing zombies near the correct artifact, one player needs to be a zombie to watch and see where the entity travels to... Once charged it will move to another previously-useless area and allow you to unshoot yourself and obtain the second peice of scroll... Step the next: you will need to break the fourth wall for this one... Take a bible to the wall and read it, it will then shine up and one will receive a "notification" that you compleated the Easter egg, however, this is a LIE! There was no award! It's just trollarch! What it really wants you to do is find the gun again, as it's location will give you the third scroll! You're halfway there! Now that the scroll is built you need to power the entity again, do this simply by training zombies arround the black hole... Once enough are present, one will need to kill them all quickly! I recommend the RGM2 or the angry elephants... This will release the entity from its bounds entirely and it will fall into the hole... Richtofen can be heard laughing, and slowly the laughter transfers to RichtoSam!! Rich: Yes! Yes! I can fully control this body! Oh I love my body... Very well! On to the REAL fun! Escaping this place! "To escape is very simple: One just needs to cross an entire dimension and escape the earth's core! The core bit is easy... But... To cross dimintions, we would need to rip a hole in some kind of doorway between worlds... You know of one? " Next step: Throw a charge at the center of the alter... Then have every player enter zombie mode... But this time it's different! You can still be attacked by the zombies! But if you go arround the map you can find a horrorfing site: At the skull: Samantha with a broken jaw and face... The noose: Nikolai hanging... The knife: Takeo having committed suicide... The body of tank, burned to death by the fire... And lastly a Teddy bear on the floor Infront of a richtofen with a gun to his head... This step requires one to hold X on each of the characters, all will have a peice you need: A flask, a badge, a teddybear, a sword and a dg2 blueprint... Each player has the wrong item, you must find the correct player to match each item: Takeo: Sword Tank: badge Nikolai: Flask Teddy: Sam Dg2 blueprint: Richtofen This will flash everything... And everyone will become human again, and all the zombies stop dead in their tracks... And don't move... You have one task left: Return one final time to zombie mode, carring a bible... You can revisit where the bodies were but they won't be there... Instead you will find empty death tools ... Head to the mist and head to the center, the packa punch would have been replaced by an alter... Placing the bible here will cause the map to rumble as the entity returns from the black hole and ravages the landscape... Bouncing into everything and going berserk.., you on the other hand will find the hole now is a teleporter, that won't work in this game (you can't end the map silly).... But you WILL be awarded a new rank eye color: Red, as well as while Richofen is in SAMs body he sounds even more demonic and Satan-like as the announcer, there is also the occasional red eyes zombie that will drop a drop at any time... Likewise you will receive all perks permanently for the rest of the game... Acheivement get: Paradox: In necromancy: Un-raise the dead And Samantha's Side: Here you do the same set up till the point where you power the entity Infront of the black hole... instead if you head to the disk and kill zombies until the red orb is gone from the hole Sam will say: Ha take that richtofen! You're a dead man walking! Then you will need to take the pirate's pistol and kill ONLY with that on the boat for a whole round... Now with the pirate's pistole thing done, you will need to collect all the artifacts arround the map (minus the gun) and bring them to the alter... Now place the artifacts arround the alter and the red entity will appear... Killing zombies near it now will make it scream and freak out, taking a more human shape and becoming tied to the table... Once the entity isn't red at ALL anymore, take the pistol and shoot the entity in the head... A nuke will go off and the zombies will stop coming... Samantha will think she would have won at this point, but if one takes 3 healing cannons near the entity, it will restore richtofen to demonic announcer, zombies will continue, you will have all perks, and the achievement: Trump card: In necromancy continue his reign Hope you enjoyed! Remember to be on here the 25th for the final map in this countdown: Origins! Next: http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=138&t=35029&p=326120#p326120

Letters from the Field - Photos & Videos from Pre-Origins
Stop Mocking Me0 replied to GRILL's topic in Origins
"The mind will continue to try and make sense even when there is none to be made..." -Me-Now- If one were to think they were in 1917 or 1916what would the diffrence be between thinking they were in 1920 or 1923? Simply put I think we will discover that NONE of these dates are correct... And the real answer lies far beyond our normal perspective of things... -
The slow bus, and far apart areas being filled with denizens ruined it for me... Oh and the awful power weapons: Emp (more harm then help) and the jet gun that SHOULD have worked like the paralizer.,,.
-
It's not so much CHANGING the coding as it is ADDING more on... But I do see your point...
-
I'm pretty skilled in map design and plot... However my artistic and coding skills are... Horrible... But I like where you're going with actually making this happen, we get an elite team of zombie players and/or makers, and we start the best ever custom map storyline, like what the yogscast did with SOI, BUT WITH ZOMBIES!!! ...
-
New wonder weapon! You hold a repeater and shoot zombies with it! Upgraded it becomes a Gatling pea
-
An idea: What if our actions here make some kind of secret tower? Hmm? One that once activated would corrupt the box in the future, so when a player pushes the button for either side, they get the same ending, BUT this time the O4's actions corrupt the spires, putting a different, unknown leaching entity in charge? Kicking whoever would have been in control anyways out!
-
The doctor on blood voodoo: It can't make people do something they would NEVER do naturally, like commit suicide! :D
-
Oh forget that, I live smack dab in the middle of NOWHERE! Internet's terrible... If anything I'd either move out somewhere to find a more suitable place, with better Internet
-
If I had my way I would create a whole LINE of mocking me brand-custom maps,,, each with their own Easter eggs, each one with its own original storyline... I would make a new line every zombies-off season... Clifhanger endings, my own research and mysterys... Just like trayarch's but MINE!
-
I doubt this is the last of this storyline... Like you said not enough closure, not on the O4's end... But just in general...
-
Then everyone and their brother can collect 500 kills and 0 downs... It would ruin the ranking system... The only map that ends the game requires at least ONE person to accept a down....

[POLL] Worst Special Enemy?
Stop Mocking Me0 replied to TheNathanNS's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Damn Denizens.... Only able to kill you if your controler dies.., but Pose as a HUGE pain any other time.... -
Think of it as anime! :D
-
Well either tank will break the 4th wall (lol @tank) as a joke... Or it actually means the other maps happened "before" this (not in actual time but chronologically)
-
Why not just Elena?
-
I wouldn't... It's hard enough to get the Blundergat from the box...
