  1. What, no. It's very clear there's teleporters, or wormhole generators to say the least, in tranzit. The denizens may TRIGGER the reaction, but the lamp post is CLEARLY the generator, and was defiantly made by the same people who made the generator room (as it's all connected to the tower). To further this evidence: the denizens avoid regular light, but create wormholes in the lamp's green glow. Not to mention the lampposts ONLY teleport you to other lampposts.
  2. Theorized about that a while ago, It's very possible.
  3. Yeah but that's not as cool is it...
  4. That's an interesting idea: Like say when one starts the game they don't realize where they are or what they're doing. But as you level up more and more, they become more aware. Then at a certain rank they begin to realize what will and won't work, eventually leading to "mastery" of the map, which can be presteiged upon, so when you go back in you have to learn it all again.
  5. Now, if you did it automatically that'd be different. Like if you leave after going down, you lose XP. If you leave at all you get no XP for that game.
  6. If SOE is in hell, I'd suspect malukah. If origins is anything like Origins I suspect AX7 or Sigman.
  7. I actually kind-of like that. Given the progression system is map specific.. I don't want to get to max rank and then when the new DLC comes out already have everything. Well.. I guess I could prestige. Yeah, I'd love to see that: rank 10: Unlock thrusters on one's sheild. Rank 20: Lightning strike has been added to the sword!
  8. The title of this thread depicts the exact way the XP system will effect the game. SO, how will the XP system effect the game specifically? Personally, I think it rewards you will certain customizable items: -A different starting pistol for instance. But others have begun to theorize a LOT of different things: -Different effects of the sword in SOE. -Different/more guns in the box. -Different/more perks in the wonderfizz. -Different/more gum balls in the Monty's Gum machine. -Different starting location in the SOE map. -Survival/Gamemode maps open up. What do you think will be effected by the ranking system? REMEMBER: It can't be TOO OP. But it has to be enough to effect gameplay.
  9. I do, but not constantly. Rarity makes it all the more valuable.
  10. Either way, I don't think this perk has to do with the monster form...
  11. How would that work? Would you just keep adding features to the gun? Like it starts off with just a slash effect, then you get the hells redeemer throw, then the shock-charge, then god knows what else as you rank up?
  12. See I don't think so, as the whole tentacle thing is really more relative to the 3 headed MONSTER rather than a spider. Plus the fact it shoots electricity points towards it having some sort of involvement with power. I really doubt a perk would make you that OP as well, even if it was just for a short while.
  13. I think the spires were meant to "End" this timeline, as either way would end in failure: Either maxis would destroy the world or Richtofen would rule it. Although it is quite odd that richtofen would "struggle to control my movements". It seems like the richtofen side was originally meant to be continued off of... Oh well, we'll see where the story takes us come DLC 1...
  14. Longer then that, 4- WAW, 10-BO1, 15 (not including game mode-maps)-BO2. Also you have a point, I've made a map in "the giant" section about starter pistols lets move away from that here and focus on the new perk. PERSONALLY, I think it'd be cool if the perk worked like the Magnetron from Infection: Not hurting the zombies but creating points that when hit inflict critical damage. However the spider could also refer to: -More arm/legs for faster window repairs -The ability to move across walls like with the wall-running mechanic in MP. -A sort of sticky web to trap zombies.
  15. But they do count, as they are teleporters that are respected as part of the game. Hence why in the richtofen and Maxis sides of the easter egg you have to interact with them as machines much more powerful then lamp-posts. Furthermore, as this is american land, this is the second type of American-made teleporter seen in zombies.
  16. It's not really zombie-killing music, but it is epic music.
  17. Oh reasonable people will stay. See here how it is: If you don't punish players for leaving then a good, but self-absorbed player (A) who realizes that the worst player in the game (D) is going to prevent him from getting to a high round, then he'll leave on round 10ish to find a lobby with no player Ds. If you PUNISH players for leaving then a player with a bad player will sit though it, unless met with a REALLY bad team player A will stay where he is. As for the reputation, imagine you're playing with the MOST ANNOYING player ever, he's like 6 years old and keeps stealing the parts you need for your staff. Then when you leave him because he's on the other side of the map, he gets SUPER pissed and when the game ends, lists everything he can about you being a bad player. You can do the same to him, but what does he care. Then this happens again and again, because regardless of if you're on PSN or XBL, there will be little asshole brats. Then YOU are stuck with the short end of the stick and look just as bad as the little shit to begin with.
  18. We know that the starting pistol is the one they are holding, Dalek confirmed it so at least the M1911 is gone. Multiple starting weapons. Like in SOE, that revolver type weapon seen with the IN-game footage (not a cut-scene) looks weak like it could be the starting pistol, then we've seen the mauser in the concept art. Unlocking starting pistols through XP anyone? No. As I said we have a confirmed starting pistol. By what means do you have proof of this? OR MR. DALEK for that mater? I'm guessing the MR6 (Thankyou Liam) is the basic starting pistol you get at the begining of the game when you have NO XP but after a few games you can unlock other weapons.
  19. You didn't like Malukah in Buried? I did, that was the next best thing after ES if we couldn't have AX7.
  20. Well you can't really do #2, as you would just reward people for staying in games, be it they make it to round 40 or 4. I guess when you really get down to it, people will leave regardless. Tragic...
  22. Ok, so in the giant, we see Tank, Takeo, and Young richtofen all holding the same pistol, which generally is received as the starting pistol: HOWEVER, the concept-art-movie-poster depicts the MAUSER being used. Furthermore the ORIGINAL picture of BO3's reveal (back when everyone thought it would be WAW 2) showed a pair of futuristic mustang and Sallys. So, my question: Will we be able to have different starting weapons? I mean I'm all for this idea. The mauser offers a completely different strategy to the classic mustang and sally, and that it's self may vary from the NEW mustang and sally! So what if this is one of the factors depicted by XP progression? You unlock starting pistols? Like you have the futuristic M+S to begin with, but then you can unlock the mauser on level 10. Then on level 20 you can unlock the "M+S classic" which is different then the 2065 version of the gun. Like the futuristic gun when upgraded becomes a mini-gun, but the classic becomes the explosive M+S we know of.
  23. I doubt that, remember, we've seen the Mauser being used here as well, AND the original reveal art for BO3 depicted the mustang and sally futuristic pistols.
  24. Personally I think it'd be great to see a song called "Annihilation of Beauty" which is a counter part to "Beauty of Annihilation".
  25. Hmm... That idea is also good but concerning: how many matches would take place with a little snot-nosed kid who kept leaving the game because the sword part they wanted is taken? "You took ALLL the good parts! What the dumb-dumb, you (muffled screaming) I hate this game! I'm leaving!"
