https://www.callofduty.com/blackops3/zombies?video=1 There you go EJ. But notice how it says "Suspension rail-way" I think, that implies that the rail is actually above the streets, meaning you'll likely have to find the stairs up to it, then have access to it. I also don't believe that there is going to be one un-interactable carriage like tranzit. If anything there's multiple carriages or one that can be brought about like Origins. The suspension part is intriguing to me: Will we be able to access certain higher parts of the map ONLY by using the tram?

I... Really could not care less about a paris map. "But the catacombs": So eff-ing what? A bunch of skulls in a small dark corridor is soposed to be the greatest zombies map ever? Or maybe the effle tower... We've been to the MOON. THE MOON. A paris map is NOT going to impress me. Go ahead, make one, why not? Seems fun because it's a zombies map. But it won't impress me.

It never happened in Germany...
Stop Mocking Me0 replied to SupremeJJ's topic in Research & Development
Yes america, we accommodated an inferior country (Nazi Germany, not modern Germany)'s technology which we will now use to win the space race. That's exactly what we tell the public. On a more serious note: Stupid americans would never begin to reveal my secrets is a quote (or close enough to the quote) from Richtofen in Moon. I think richtofen was right in saying that they didn't get the teleporter working. Which is weird because they HAVE working teleporters in "Five" and "Tranzit". -
Specialist Abilities / Weapons in Zombies?

Psychosis sounds interesting. -
We can't all be Alphas and many of us are just annoyed by it.

I hope so. I don't want to have to keep waiting for the train now...

Ok, so what MANY people have completely ignored about SOE, is that there IS actually a transport system. We HAVE confirmed this based off of the description of the map on COD's website. What we don't know is EVERYTHING else: What will it look like, will it move on it's own, do you have to pay to get on, will this aspect be completely broken and offer an aspect to the map no one wants? All these questions and more deserve speculation. Theorize away!

Ok, so lets begin with all that shiz after buried. Maxis won, or Richtofen won, don't make much difference to me. But at this point samantha was all like ok, world's decimated either way: time for plan B. Plan B was to return to the point in time in which the O4 met the first time (origins) and bring them forward in time to the events of "the giant". Here, what typically happens is richtofen would go to the moon find samantha in the pyramid, and then zombies would start rioting, maxis would be summoned, and then killed. But now we have a few issues caused by samantha's medaling: 1: Maxis is now mostly dead. And his rotor form restricts him from having children. So samantha was never created in the origins universe. So it was abandoned and the new universe of the REGULAR zombies storyline comes forth. 2: Richtofen, now tainted with the knowledge of the cycle of him living, becoming all-powerful, and then falling, kills himself before he can do any of it. Now it is up for richtofen's younger self from another reality to set things strait. On the bright side "Payback's a bitch! And just so you know so is Russman" never even took place anymore!

I DOUBT the squid-thing will trigger on death, but considering the monstrosity can power things with it's electric tentacle it could be used as the form of "Power" in this map. Also, we have NO HUD so we don't know if there's a timer like afterlife in MOTD, but we can assume being like that permanently is beyond OP. Here's what I think: I think you pay 500 to use a purple fountain which acts as a potion to turn you into the monster. And you can remain that monster and open up any door you want and even smash through weaker walls illuminated by a fiery glow. However after a certain amount of time, you die unless you can drink from the fountain again (for free) to turn yourself back. As an added pain, the red cuneiform writing on the walls serve as a barrier you can't cross.

Also it didn't work if you ran, shot, or a zombie wasn't caught in the blast. OH and it turned anything nearby off.

Oh yeah... The one with winston churchill and the silence. -
Well... I kind of agree to that, but there are some build able scenarios I'd like to see in BO3 that weren't in BO2 that would be interesting: -A door that requires a few parts to open scattered across the map. -Supposedly PAP is on the other side. -A tool that's used to open some doors and partways but ends up closing others. -Re-usable parts like the keys from Die-rise would be 1000 times more usable if they were a multi-use item. -Can a buildable be made with specific parts to build a different type of build able. Like say Piece A,B and C combine to make Buildable A+, but parts A,D, and B can be combined to make Buildable B+ and so on and so forth with each type of build able having a different use.

Ok so... There's more zombie dev talk coming out soon.
But... But MorBURP importantly.. The... THE SECOND SEASON.. THE SECOND SEASON OF RICK AND MORTY Comes out shortly after that morty! And it's going to be great Morty! It'll be me and you BURP running around and... I'M RICK right now! Thats... That's what I'm implying by my voice patterns.

I love this idea! But this sounds like it wouldn't be PAP-able. And we all know we want upgradable weapons... So how would that work?
-
That's not really relevant to the topic. Also: What happens when a whiny little kid gets the controls and wants to boot out the player that's not doing everything he says (you)? Agreed: The ideal mechanic is that when a crawler moves too far away it re-spawns as a full zombie or crawler that's just as weak as the first one, but will never die until shot. Also: Shrodinger... Care to explain why you DON'T want crawlers to live indefinitely?

Really? The first time there was a paradox in the new Doctor who dragons came about. The map has been decimated for a long time. There's definitely the possibility of there being two explosions, and that still doesn't answer the question of Marelton's knowledge of weaponry, as we KNOW he was in Nuketown. -
Awwww thank you! I HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO SOMETHING TODAY!

In black ops 2 we saw one of the most infamous game mechanics to date that has plagued all of us: The effect of any harmed zombie dies after a certain period of time, or certain distance away. We saw this in an even more horrid form in Exo-zombies, where zombies would die weither the zombie was harmed or not. Back in the good ole days of BO1, there was an aspect known as "Saving a Crawler" where players would use their remaining frags to try to get a "Slow-Crawler". This would allow them a breather period to study and understand the map and stock up on guns and perks. However in the next installment of the game, there was an issue where any harmed zombie would die. OF COURSE, you could still save a zombie by just keeping an unharmed zombie and training him, but this became tedious to at least one player. What this post is, is a sort of petition, a petition to treyarch saying we don't care how big the map is, or how difficult the mechanics can be: We want the ability to make a crawler and have it stay alive until shot. It was essential to finding easter-eggs, and getting a breather every now and again. We saw a mechanic where the big guy in buried would hold a crawler until shot, which was fantastic, but a good ole fashioned perfectly functioning crawler is exactly what we desire. The gameplay, surely, is still in a stage early enough were we can get this to happen. Anyone who wants to support please comment why or just mark it in the poll.

Who got the Juggernog Edition??
Stop Mocking Me0 replied to tresstheman's topic in General Discussion
Oh thank god, those poor souls who would buy such a product... Secretly it's just bill gates not giving the slightest shit, -
remember back when everyone thought that would kill the avagadro....

So, when questioned by syndicate, treyarch responded to the idea of customization in BO3 with a vague answer I can't think of right now and my internet's too slow for my impatient self to work with. EITHER WAY, they responded with the statemen that it COULD potentially be coming to zombies. However, this wouldn't be the first time COD has gone back on these half-promises. I personally don't think it will come. But, I've been wrong about just about everything else so far! What do you guys think? Will PC finally get some upgrades from treyarch for their custom zombie hunger?
