  1. Is it saying mistakes or mysteries? Eitherway, I hope we keep getting these teaser snaps WELL into at least the ZOMBIES reveal trailer!
  2. Leaks are not tolerated in any way. But I'll tell you now: What does GAF know?
  3. Here's my theory in full: Technology is being advanced at a rapid rate. So is war. Mankind uses what's around them to become stronger. This leads to advancements like Threat-detection and Night-vision eyes, robotic suits for increased mobility (not double jumps, no-fall-damage, and boots, but wall-climbs, grapples, and camouflage.), and even more advanced things: Eyes being able to send information back to a central computer for analysis, ears to be used as a sensor for movement, noses to detect the smell of bombs. Eventually it gets to the point where a single hacker (Dr. Salim) could potentially hack INTO a soldier and get them to hear what they want, see what they want, and kill who they want. En Mass could destroy entire armies. This technology is the spawn of the research done on Alex Mason. The counter technology is called: The wolf project. (Resnov's code name)
  4. The first zombies map to be released won't be the pyramids. I say this not because there's no way it would happen, but because the first(disc) map to be released does actually have it's limits. - It's going to be the BIGGEST map possible for the game, and typically that requires a wide open area like tranzit or Kino. The pyramids would be quite small, not in actual size, but in exploitability. -The map has to be simple: NO gimmicks. Just a map to get the basics down. New players may start off with this zombies, know nothing about it's lore or purpose, and it can be off-putting if they start fighting in an unfamiliar environment: Nact is an every-day broken-down bunker. Kino is a broken-down theater (large building). Tranzit is a broken-down town with secret research lab. Outbreak (yes even exo-zombies and extinction fallow these rules) was an abandoned lab, Point of contact was a ruined, flat, city. Pyramids would add a feel of claustrophobia and/or verticality that may be off-putting. Nact, Kino, Tranzit, Point of Contact and Outbreak are fairly simplistic in design. -What point would any of them have to go to the pyramids? They walked right by them before, why are they important now?
  5. Can't seem to access ANY forum posts today... Not complaining, just pointing out a bug I have.

  6. Not even that, it's just that man has reached the point where they can completely control other men.
  7. But you realize that a vast majority of Xbox gamers are STILL on the 360, right? They will do a dual-release on both consoles if Activision wants their money (like they always do). Why? Because the 360 and PS3 are still major consoles despite not being the "next-gen" machines. But if they continue to do this, will there ever be a reason to upgrade? Why not just stay on my old console, instead of picking up a new one? If they keep with this idea of only caring about money, game development is going to hit a stall where games will NEVER advance, except on next gen only games and PC. That is when CoD would truly die. 2 years is more than enough time to upgrade and phase out the old hardware. Because the 360/PS3 version is infinitely shittier then the XB1. But Nai does have a point: The production of this game supposedly started 2 years prior to when It will be released. If that's the case the ratio of 360 to XB1 players would be undefined when production began. AND IF THAT'S the case, then they COULD have predicted that XB1 would be the main console still, which generally, there is a LARGE portion of XB1 consoles sold. That being said, it's a pretty 50/50 chance of it being ported back. Personally I would prefer current-gen only (XB1/ PS4) as that would allow for even more concentrated production IN ADDITION to the extra year, making one HELL of a game. (Insert Sebastian here)
  8. Well it accomplishes a few things: 1-It allows for exo "perks" like you said, without the actual issues of exos being implemented into the game. 2-It matches what Dr. Salim preaches: How far are we willing to go, is dependent on what we fear. We fear the use of human robots, but it would allow for technology greater then one can possibly imagine for the time period. Bit like nazi experimentation.
  9. I had the idea of a human battery; A machine that uses humans as a power source to create a machine bread for war: Imagibe the abilitys of improved strength and stamina, but the battery comes from people so it could implement an interesting mechanic of the more you're shot the less power you can give to your super strength, speed, and abilities such as invisibility and extended punches
  10. I'm glad likes and brains are the same thing now. I found it so difficult to chose to weather someone was given a brain or like.
  11. The next game seems to be centered around the concept of evolving men prematurely using technology. What kind of technology appears to be mechanical from the cover-art. Likewise, this doesn't sound like technology to improve like exosuits. But more like robotic armor, like batman. Perhaps the technology improves speed, strength, and protects one, but doesn't allow for all the dancy-jumpy-flying shit. Things like cloaking and stims can be attached to this, but boosts seem a bit further off. Maybe the technology is a bit darker: Using humans as batteries for robotic soldiers: Using run-off energy from the body to move the "soldier" like a robot. The eyes hijacked as a camera. The ears highjacked as a motion detector. It's harley human anymore.... But it's effective... What's your opinion on this?
  12. I would love to see 935 re-built AGAIN
  13. How far we can go is limits by fear. We remove fear by updating codz.

  14. The cover-art shows futuristic metal plating (NOT confirmed exos) and these teasers show nature... Perhaps the war against industrialism? We're now Eco-extremist?
  15. I'm gona tell you right now Grill, that's REALLY optimistic. I DOUBT an option to turn off exo-zombies will be supported. I also think we're getting a little ahead of ourselves as well, I mean, who even has verified that ecps will be returning, as of right now, all I can see is batman-like metal armor... Porting im im calling a 50/50 coin flip on weither it will happen or not.could be either and I won't care either way.
  16. This doesn't really scream "Exosuit" to me, it screams "Steel punk" armor. But I also agree: I don't want zombies to change by means of maneuverability, at all.
  17. As a fallow up to my previous MP Idea from a few months ago, here's the multiplayer DLC portion of it, zombies not included. DLC 1: Deathwish- New weapon: The bow: A simplistic weapon, but innovative. One must charge their shot with holding RT for range. They can also change the type of arrow from normal, to explosive, to galvanized, to smoke. New maps: Beast: On a stormy night in the eastern seas, an American air-carrier is boarded by Japanese soldiers... And a beast from the depths of the ocean... Planes and boats allowed in this map. The ? Will call forth the beast from beneath to have it's kraken-tentacles slam any nearby soldiers. After its been called, the map will actually break as the ship is taken down. The water is death without a boat and otherwise, players will be separated on two different inaccessible to the other parts of the boat. This makes it so boats and planes are heavily relied on to win after the beast has come. Eruption: It's the top of an active volcano in Hawaii, the fights between the Japanese and the Americans. Tanks and cars are available for use here, but they need to be careful. One wrong move and down they'll fall into the lava pit. The ? On this map actually sets off the eruption. The facility will be protected by tunnels of heat-proof glass, completely altering the map and removing the use of all vehicles. Late: This map takes place in a German physics center where the main study is actually time travel! No vehicles are allowed here. When the ? Is set off the facility goes into slow-mo or hyper-speed to test your reactivity. Retro: This map is my personal favorite. Your character customization is forfeit here to become a red virus or blue virus. The two viruses then struggle for victory along the hard drive. Around the two teams are multiple references to different games. Cars are available here and so are tanks. Both retro of course. ? Will cause power-ups to appear, making one bigger, turn invincible for a few seconds, and shoot twice as fast. DLC 2: Exile New weapon: Slime: It's actually a slime launcher. It's corrosive and will kill a soldier in seconds if hit, the issue being it takes a shot to kill them. I should mention that the slime is also bouncy. One can survive falls with this without taking damage if shot at the ground! Maps: Dojo: Atop an Indian mountain sits a sanctuary which is currently being swarmed by Russians against the Germans. The map it's self is oddly composed and varies greatly in height. That slime weapon will come in handy here. Planes are here, but tanks and cars arn't. ? Summons ninja NPCs to fight alongside you. Although they only have melee attacks. Architect: A sky-scraper is mid-production in new York, and it's an all-out brawl between invading Italians. In this map soldiers will parachute in from the side and land partly up, or on top of the building. Planes are available here but tanks and cars are a no-go. There are multiple cranes, elevators, and traps around the map which can effect the other team if activated by random (hold X) buttons around the map. Zeppelin: A massive carrier zeppelin patrols the skies of Berlin, but is it expecting a British attack on it? Traverse the inner-workings of the blimp from bagage, to roof, to cock-pit. Planes can be used here. The ? Ignites the helium in the blimp which will set it on fire in many places. When the map ends if the ? Has been triggered the blimp will crash down. Resort: Theres plenty of things to do in this hotel along a spanish peninsula. Visit the spa, swim in the ocean, drive a damn tank through most of the building. Yep! You get tanks, golf-carts (cars), and planes here. The ? Is useless on this map. Although it does activate a little Easter egg that when found causes a song to play.
  18. I was going to spend my evening watching YouTube, but now I want to spend it developing epic MP map concepts.... Great job BHS! Also game mode idea: Assassination: There's a completely invisible player and 7 others in a lobby of 8. (This can be expanded or shortened) The "Assassin" wins by killing everyone else. And he typically has the advantage of his choices in weapons. His only downfall is, when shooting or attacking in any way, he can be seen. He also can be kind-of seen when sprinting, but is totally invisible when still. The other team wins by killing the assassin.
  19. The permanent perks are helpful to new players, but shouldn't be useful in climbing one's way to the big leagues. I suppose the "Stats not recorded" would be Ok. But yeah, you 9/10 spawn in as a regular footsoldier, but sometimes, if there's no one else being a tank, you can spawn in as one and wreak havoc. Of course a tank is much slower then a normal machine, but it has to be balanced.
  20. What if we get some sort of animus thing happening, Like let's say that Alex mason was kidnaped by this trident group (Tri-Arch for the time being) who's leader is Dr. Salim after the events of the BO2 mission where manendaz and Noriega trick you into shooting mason. Mason lives and is taken to be studied by tri-arch. Eventually his fragmented amd warped brain becomes the catalist needed to project their research to the next level: Transferance of memories. In Alex's days this is crude and painful, costing weeks and months of work and torture for little results. His memory in its entirety is transfered towards "patient J" whom we don't see yet. Years later, Alex mason with no memory left is dropped in the middle of nowhere. He eventually begins to remember who he is and returns to the US to see woods. Long story short, the animus-type technology is invented by Tri-arch and used to transfer knowledge from both Alex and David Mason to the terrorist group's control. Which is then used to turn average everyday people into walking sleeper agents, intent on killing president.. After president... After president, until chaos consumes America and it falls...
  21. Think I now know: Black ops 3 is legit, sounds like its continuing AFTER the events of BO2. There also seems to be some sort of linkage to a sort of DNA-like membrane and cell devision? Clone wars maybe? Maybe people now fight using clones and cloned weapons from all kinds of eras? That'd be cool!

    1. Tattoo247

      Tattoo247

Throwing my expectations of BO3 being set in an older time aside, your idea is pretty cool. If it has to be a game in the future...might as well throw in a clone war!
