Bingo That seems like you just luckily got off the hook for making a very controversial and not well received post. Or maybe it was the exact plan of action to create a post I knew people would discuss because its filled with some of the most arguable topics known to site... Or maybe I'm just an Idiot.... YOU'LL NEVER KNOW!

Don't be to quick to judge, remember: -This COULD be the first next-gen only console COD -The extra year could mean that the game no-longer infringes on Activision's terms, and thus, mod tools can be delivered to the public. I personally would LOVE mod tools to return. Trayarch can argue that it's possible people will create better maps, but in reality, 95% of maps created today contain not that many new ideas. Sure there are plenty of brilient story and clever map designs, but typically, most ideas like soul boxes, the staffs, and time bombs and buildables are all from BO2 and BO1. They already have means of re-creating everything from BO2 in a sense. With the mod tools it would be SUPER epic if one could get things like proper mule-kick, proper-duel wield (which actually is good to go already in some custom games), bigger ester eggs, and more environmental epicness!

3 Not so Ridiculous Powerup ideas
Stop Mocking Me0 replied to ECTheZombieDestroyer's topic in Zombie Labs
I agree, the first one seems like a great idea, however those whom have been to the forbidden realm of "50 and up" start to realize a pattern with the drops: Every kind of drop appears once every two rounds. That being said, getting a max amo AND either of 2 or 3 would become super easy (at least in solo) to replenish amo. That's my only issue.- 10 replies

How to get Juggernog on round 1(works best solo)
Stop Mocking Me0 replied to Zombie_Slayer_115's topic in Mob of the Dead
I'd hate to be "that guy" and, this may just be me, but I think MOTD is rated the second easiest map in the whole game… Second only to Buried that is…. But I REALLY wouldn't say that it's the toughest or one of the toughest maps of Black ops 2. Origins is defiantly harder, and so is nuketown. Then tranzit and it's counterparts are slightly easier then origins. Die rise can be really hard depending on connection and footing. -
Over the last series of months, there have been multiple concepts that have lead to unagreeable argument because of lack of information, I'm not going to point fingers at who is responsible for such ill-kept rumors... But just to make a point, here are my top 10 concepts that should NEVER be brought up without preparation for a shitstorm. -10: The O4 are dead: There is some speculation as to the "death" of the O4, mainly quotes from richtofen and maxis respectively: -You know I'm really starting to miss the other three… -Unused game files - But what about samantha? Your actions will relinquish her to eternal damnation. -Buried ending. Both of these hint towards samantha, in richtofen's body being dead, or "in argartha". However there is speculation that the O4 are actually NOT dead but still in argartha. Either way, alive or dead, at least richtofen's body is in argartha, and that's the end of that. -9: The N4 are dead: There is a stage of the buried easter egg in which one travels to "round infinity" much to their own shock, samule and Co find their own dead bodies. This will inevitably mean that the N4 will eventually die here, but that could mean many things. It could mean that if the N4 stay too long it's likely they will eventually die. It could also be a metaphor for how no matter what you do, you will eventually die in zombies. It also could mean that the N4 are just going to drop dead and their story ends here. However a factor many fail to recognize is that the N4 have died at least once before, in the die-rise cutscene the N4 are seen killed by zombies before being resurrected to "begin anew", meaning the N4 could die here, but continue their story well into the next game. -8: Is backwards time travel possible: The only evidence of backwards time travel in all of zombies occurs in shangri-la and Buried. In shangri-la time is reversed but it only takes them back for a few minutes before flashing back, in the present, time is the same, but what you did in the past stays relevant. It is possible to then continue to do the easter egg over and over but each time the end result is gary and brock dieing regardless of what you change. In buried it's possible to not truly travel back in time, but destroy time, as everything you did what destroyed with it. Depending on how one interprets this information changes how one is effected to the possibility of backwards time travel. -7: Is MOTD in hell: Personally I don't think this should be on my list, but there was a fair amount of people who argued against the idea of MOTD being in hell and it instead just being a random loop. But the references of Dante's inferno seal the deal for me, either way, it comes in as number 7. -6: Should there be a ranking system in the next game: Again, people have their pros and cons on this subject. Some think it's just a mater of tweaking the system from BO2, others think it needs to be scrapped entirely. A small few like the system as it was in BO2, but that's all opinion. -5: Is shangri-la on mars: Again, another ridiculous theory, but the troll zelnski is and the game's code files have led to many mars-related preposterous theories that don't serve much purpose. Either way, just don't put mars and Shangri-la in the same sentence, it's for the better of everyone. -4: Is the Origins map cannon: MANY people have noticed how certain aspects of Origins don't match up with the rest of the story, mainly the ending cutscene. Some have ventured to say that it's possible that Origins is actually hell like MOTD may be, but in the end, it's still a pretty screwed up map that sticks out like a sore thumb. -3: WHEN Does moon/nuketown take place: This is another corrupt topic with no definitive answer. Many believe it to take place in 2015-2025 era, while others believe it's in the 1960s. There is substantial evidence for both sides, however every time a new clue arrises for one side, the other side has a counter-clue. The biggest one I can think of is the poster in die rise which shows the date to be well after the 1990s, but the opposing argument is that it's actually just a hint at trayarch's founding. -2: What will the next game be: World at war 2, Black ops 3, or a new title?: Much speculation has shown that any one of these 3 possible titles are possible. Personally I'm leaning towards a futuristic WAW2 game. Simply because people are LOVING WAW right now, however, futuristic gaming holds so much more potential then WW2/WW1 gaming. I hope to see either a futurized past like wolfenstein, or a WW3 game. -1: Is it all just a game?: The Origins ending cutscene just needs to burn and die. It honestly has raised far more questions then answers and NOT in a good way. Personally I think it would be a total cop-out to say it's all just a children's game and therefor I uphold the idea that the "room" samantha is in, is actually the aether in which she controls the zombies. Some even have come to believe the whole game will re-start in the world where child samantha and richtofen exist… OF course this would point to playing as children, and no game in their right mind would depict children shooting zombies.

I don't believe it's a rumor. All those weapons have specific limitations so you can't kill too many zombies at once. -Jet gun: Does gradual, yet infinite, damage to a specific point in the screen. -Blundergat: Does actually turn zombies for crawlers only after a certain point. Not killing them. Also, while it's power is great, it's range is not, you may be able to take out the front 5 zombies, but the other 10 are going to keep running at you. -Staffs stop working, and even then they aren't hitting the whole screen: -Fire- blasts 3 large balls of fire that gradually kill -lightning - blast one tiny zap of lightning that gradually kills -wind- actually does hit the whole screen and kills instantly, but the effects don't last long, and furthermore the bodies can also be just stunned. -ice: hits the whole screen but gradually kills
-
I think they died in moon, simply because we know samantha and richtofen's body are in argartha from maxis's speech. What I think Origins is, isn't what what you may think it is. I believe origins is argartha and by completing the easter egg, samantha and the other O4 escape hell.

Ok, I need some help with picking a way to improve my internet connection to my xbox one. Recently I've put the box in the same location as the 360 and the wii. Ever sense it's been super slow with a .90 mbps download and .75mbps upload speed. It's connected wirelessly to a router upstairs with 2 walls and 1 floor in the way. I am wondering if I should get a repeater to put between the xboxes and the router, or should I find other means, please help.

Powerline home plugs is your answer if you cannot go wired (direct).
Repeater is a waste of time, packet loss and ping is higher (slightly).

What are some aspects of BO2 that will be carried over you think? Each game so far has added a set of aspects that have reoccurred in the next game at least once, so what from BO2 will come back? WAW: -Zombies, -Dogs, -O4, -O4 perks, -Mystery box, -wonder weapons, -traps, -monkeys, -easter egg, bowie, -PAP, ect. BO1: -Novas, -BO perks, -actor maps, ect. Bo2: -Electric cherry should return, as well as Vulture's aid and the wonder fizz. However I think tombstone and Who's who should be scrapped. Buildables is also something that should return. Double pack a punching, galvaknuckles. The bank is something that needs to be tweaked, but the weapons locker can stay as-is. Perma-perks need to be scrapped.

I think, that zombies should die on round one with one knife or 6 shots or so. Then continue to get harder as the rounds progress. What would be cooler is if there were more zombies and weapons worked even more effectively. We didn't come here to shoot at a zombie 1000 times and have it NOT die, no! We came here to destroy corpses in a 1000 different ways with ease! Plus, the faster a weapon kills the zombie the less points it will procure. Something that probably won't be implemented but would be cool is stopping power. Like if you hit a zombie with a pistol it stagers a bit, but if you hit him with an RPG he goes flying backwards, not dead, but flying backwards. It also would be cool if players hit with their own RPG blast (or enemy players hit with enemy blasts) would go flying back a few feet as well.

Power Switch Overcharge (Gameplay Mechanic Idea)
Stop Mocking Me0 replied to Electric Jesus's topic in Zombie Labs
Or…. How about this: Overchargo-meter: Attach this to any perk machine (besides jug, there is no upgraded jug) and you have a 33% chance of it overcharging the perk, the downfall of this is, it can also burn-out the perk, in which for the next six rounds it will be entirely useless to those who bought it, or wish to buy it. It can also be attached to PAP and offer to supercharge your weapon with a 50% chance. Again however it has a downside of possibly destroying your weapon. -
Timeline Shifts (Gameplay Mechanic Idea)
Stop Mocking Me0 replied to Electric Jesus's topic in Zombie Labs
Oh I LOVED skyward sword! And the idea, the idea too! What would be cool is if that was implemented into a game of grief: One team starts in dimension A and is sent in to corrupt dimension B as maxis states Other cool ideas: -Rift-charges: Creates temporary blips in the fabric of time and space, like a rift-change machine that you described, but localized. -Different weapons in each reality, meaning just because you've swapped domains, does not mean your weapons and tools have, it's important to maintain constant survival in BOTH realties! -
Origins is where the cycle breaks. Remember, argartha is interdiminsional, and exists as a land outside of perception, and reality. No matter what you chose, all worlds revolve into the aether/argartha combo. In worlds were maxis destroys the world, certain aspects of that world are transferred to argartha, however the world gets destroyed and it doesn't survive and is therefor irrelevant. In other worlds where richtofen is victor, the events of origins take place, leading to maxis's consciousness to retrieve samantha's body from the aether with richtofen's consciousness fallowing.
