No no no… You must address ALL points of gameplay… Nact; Simplistic verruct: Simplistic Shi no numa: Not very, yet still simplistic. Der Reise: Good! Kino: Bit simplistic, but fun Five: Simple, yet difficult and tight-spaced, so it makes up for it. Accension: Good COTD: Good Shangri la: Deadly, but still good if you got the right people. Moon: PERFECT, evenly spaced environment, nothing tedious, just absolutely brilliant. Bit glitchy but still so much fun! Nuketown: Simplistic, yet difficult Tranzit: Actually simplistic, just very big and unevenly spaced. town: Good farm: Simplistic bus depot: Meh… MENT to be simplistic Die rise: Very good: Evenly spaced things, new weapons from the walls. Generally pleasant. MOTD: Bit complex, yet still enjoyable. Buried: UNEVENLY spaced complexity, but still fun. Origins: Complex, and evenly spaced, but VERY tedious…

I disagree with you completely. I too was only here for the release of moon, not anything before. Still 100 times the game "origins" was. Buried is probably the most re-playable map of them all if you play it right… Your going to tell me die rise is any different then transit? OR that MOTD is any different then origins…. Same vibes=the same. The lessons learned from the failures of BO2 will instruct trayarch further to not doing their own thing, but to LISTEN to the community. WE know what we want in the next game, trayarch only has their graphs and charts about what is "promoter positive". If they continue the way their going we're going to be getting zombie maps starring: Ranni: The pan-sexual city girl who just does not have time for this and can't think up her own original lines. Harry: The emo kid that only thinks he's emo because he wears a black bracelet. Ron: The "jock" (really he's just a fat ass) who's only lines are: Turn up! And WOO! Marry: The "nerd" who really is only acting like a gamer chick for the attention from jocks, in reality she's a total slut…. That is our society today….

Setting: 1: Middle of the zombie advancement testing facility, 1945, Along the coast of Japan. 2: Middle of the reconstructed zombie holding Island, 2045, along the coast of Japan. Characters: The O4, from both 1945 and 2045. Description: As the O4 materialize long after the events of buried, a reconstructed world lay in colonies across the globe. As the four arrive in this time period their lost memories have begun to seep out from the dormant locked chambers of their minds…. Samantha: Starting to reach the inter workings of richtofen's mind ever sense the days of his madness. Nikolai: With even vodka not being able to repress his memories Nikolai slowly regains his past's horrors… Tank: Half way to complete memory revival, tank's memories may be more then he bargained for… Takeo: Being the only one of the crew to fully maintain his memory, take struggles with the century old riddles in his brain… You start off the game arriving in the new, and slightly demolished "zombie facility" used for maintaining the zombie out break, the issue? A cult of sick flesh eaters known as the flesh have joined together to break the zombies out, which now run free across the island… As you walk along you will eventually find memory holes in walls, unique to each player. Walk through to enter the past version of the same room. Here you'll find the stories from when richtofen first broke dempsey and CO. out and used them during the apocalypse. Revealing all kinds of mysteries. Later on you will eventually find a massive "thing" in the future used for god knows what. With a little hidden hints one can deduce how to use it in the easter egg, forcing the O4 back to suppressed memories. Richtofen must revisit his murder of maxis, and the events of his first meeting with the MPD. Nikolai will tour the inner workings of a soviate secret project to be used to take down the Nazis. And his capture by takeo. Takeo will revisit his mission to the emperor and his discovery of richtofen. Tank will revisit not only his memories but the looking's of Peter McLain's as well. And both their secrets. Ultimately leading to a huge memory of richtofen capturing all 3 of the others before Samantha as a demon appears and inflicts her own desires across their minds, whipping their memories. SO what do you think? The whole memory bit a good idea or no?

They will have 2 maps on release, just like in Bo1, and 2 with extra game modes. Also the storyline needs a LOT of work, at least the amount of work as BO1. However less emphasis on the easter egg is a must. They should have the first map maybe, focus on it, but the rest need to be kept secret, and hidden. REAL radios need to come back…. Gameplay is going to be improved regardless. It's just a fact. People play games for more things to entertain them. End of story. So we need not worry about the gameplay…

Alright, we all loved the personalization packs from BO2 announced each month at the PS and PC release. SO I had an Idea to one-up that notion: Weapons packs: Here's how this will work, what it will do is for zombies: -New character outfits -New weapons (that are basically re-skins of weapons you already have) For MP: -New outfits -Weapon camos -New weapons Here are a few examples: The tough guy: -bulked up character model-zombies and MP -new knife: Simply just a punch -RPG now looks heavier but runs the same Party time: -Party guy model -New confetti cannon starter pistol:same effects and damage as original. Upgraded it becomes sort of a short-range ray gun that deals no splash damage but covers a good radius -all grenades explode into confetti after detonating. What's so funny? -Pycho clown model - Claymores are now presents that explode the same. - Melee attacks are now conjoined with that of a joy buzzer for no extra damage. Sounds of battle: -Music enthusiast model -When flash bangs explode they make a musical base drop -the box makes piano noises when opened. The pap makes guitar. Time traveler: Time traveler models: Timelord and Doctor Brown Helicopters are now replaced by deloreans. The box is now marked by a flux capacitor and the PAP now holds a tardis-style steam-punk look to it. Matrix: Yeah, you guessed it black coats and what nots… bullet lines linger twice as long now. the box and PAP are now raw code. OMg robots: Cyborg outlines zombies are now robo-fied droid care-packges What do you think?

It has been a year. And (almost) 1500 posts

Ah I remember my first year here… We know just about as much as we do now about the storyline…. -
WEEK Two: Game modes: The Return: Description: Here are some game mode Ideas, my personal top favorites, and the most common requests, simply select which ones you would and wouldn't like to see return or show: Grief: Pros: Simple 8 player game mode, basis of 8 player zombies. Cons: Not a very popular game mode so far… Turned: Pros: Play as a freaking zombie. Cons: NOT very popular game AT ALL. -Note: an 8 player turned that doesn't record your downs would be more beneficial. Survival: Pros: Another simple game mode, smaller and runs easier, allows new experiences to familure surroundings. Cons: Takes up a "game mode space" and is basically just the story mode with no twists or achievables. Team undeathmatch: Simple enough, 10 minutes on the clock. Two teams. Your objective: Destroy the other team while surviving a zombie massacre. You start with 5000 points, perks and guns are yours to secure. You take more damage from zombies then people and while death from player will respawn you with your weapons still in tact, downing from zombies, fallowed by bleeding out will result in total death, and permanent "spectator view". Escape: You have two teams of four and a Gauntlet, you goal is to acquire everything you need to build your escape route. You have the two goals of either focusing on living or focusing on the objective. If your whole team gets down, you automatically lose as well. No-man's Sandbox: A single player game in Area 51 with a single box, all wall weapons, PAP, a wonder fizz machine, and infinite cash. Likewise there's a new builder machine that will supply you with a random build able. On the teleporter there's a big red button on the side of the cage. Pressing it will activate the cage, lifting it, and dispersing all the zombies inside. This mode is not recorded and does not count towards your overall leader boards. Have fun testing all your perks, guns, and builds from any map you've unlocked! Freakshow: Like survival, but instead of normal zombies, you're faced with a whole array of other beings, one type per round: Novas, hell hounds, boss zombies, monkeys, shriekers. Anything that can kill you differently from zombies is here. Have fun surviving as long as you can! Tournament: For extreme players only, this game mode will push you through a game of grief, 8 player turned, and a round of "escape" to show who is the victorious zombie slaying team. Dead ops Arcade: 2!: The return of the classic arcade game, introducing all new enemies, weapons, perks, secrets and more wonders as you defend deeper and deeper into the horrors of the mad man's lair. That's it, or at least that's the top few. We can return to this topic later on, should it be requested...(especially now trayarch won't be producing a title until 2015) Greif: 12 yes, 2 no Turned: 5 yes 2 no Survival 7 yes, 0no Team undeathmatch: 5 yes, 1 no Escape: 6 yes, 0 no Sandbox: 6 yes, 0 no Freakshow: 5 yes, 1 no Tournament: 4 yes, 0no DOA2: 6 yes, 2 no

@ e. jesus: So like these build-able weapons: http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/forum/index.php/topic/158270-christmas-present-map-idea/

Well there's a good and a bad side to that idea of yours: While paying to upgrade your bank is a pretty good idea, all it means is the more you play the more money you can take from your bank, on an average game and more time waisted in purchasing extra space just so you can put more money in it. It simply becomes tedious, and it effects gameplay, which I am against. You can change gameplay and what your chances are, but 100% defiantly holding more money in the bank for each game would mean unfairness between players. Now, on the other hand being able to increase the amount of money you could take before gaining a penalty (-1 tic) from 500 to 1000 to 1500 to 2000 to 2500 to 3000 max, is totally fair, as it still allows the same even gameplay, but helps you rank up faster for purchasing the upgrade.

Nope not as a weapon, it's a build able, so it would go in the place of your shield or turbine. It does have a damage amount, but gives a certain amount of portals depending on the distance and amount of uses. It doesn't actually kill anything either, but rather just allows you to pass between point A and B with ease. It can also be used to reach out of reach areas: Portal up onto a ledge that's too high, portal through a window instead of buying a door. OH!: One small crack in the floor, go prone, look through, fire your portal, go through: Secret area with hidden things

Reasons I Die in zombies: I generally get overrun and I would go out just like I would in a real apocalypse
-
I've wanted this for a while, a projector build able: 1: Extremely deadly film reel. 2: a projector. 3: a tripod This thing is practically the most deadly trap in the game. Any one who stares at the screen is automatically killed. Zombies, and humans, alike. Run a horde into it and watch as they all die. Just remember to keep LOOKING AWAY! One 2-second glance and BAM! Downed… It lasts for about 3 minutes and can be held by all. 2: The woodchopper: This build able is known for it's physics as it actually is best used when dropped down stairs, killing anything that gets caught in it. Super fun to use in grief.

How about a build able "Rift activator' A new tool in the form of a lock-on launcher for multiplayer. It has the ability to lock onto a "rift" on certain walls. You can only open two at a time, one receiving and one exiting. Sometimes the rifts turn into wall weapons to be picked up and used. Entering one portal, will transport you to the other. This is a POWERFUL tool, use it wisely.

Or visible by the player/in range.
-
Perhaps it could be loaded into the war machine and become a complete NIGHTMARE to work with…

No, you forget, depending on your gaming ability you can make extra points, so, in actuality, it would take a person who plays a good 5 games past 500 kills about 12 ticks a day: -Reward games: 5 ticks (two for playing three for awards) -Normal game: 2 ticks (for surviving long enough) -Normal game: 2 ticks again -Easter egg game: 3 ticks (one extra for EE) So 14 ticks a day, for 5 days a week, that's 70 ticks a week. And from there about 16.4-17 weeks to accomplish given there be no foul. Plus don't forget Double XP weekends. And concidering that there will be plenty of customizable things to focus players on with their bank moneys. They hurt them selves real bad should they use the bank: -Less money to help with purchasing of customs -rank... But I guess it's a bit harsh now, perhaps if you remove over 2000 from the bank it deducts a tic. That way you can use the bank twice, maintain your rank, and still have enough for your customization.

How about medals for the next zombies game?
Stop Mocking Me0 replied to lead_psychopath's topic in Research & Development
You should see my rank/bank idea for the next game, where you can level up the old rationed way, or you can complete a series of different challenges to complete it sooner. -
The issue isn't that something needs to be powered in every map, we've been seeing that sense WAW: Der reise: Power the fly trap Accesnsion: The nodes COTD: The lighthouse, and by extension the teleporter (and some extra bits) Shangri la: Power the orbs to shrink the meteor. Moon: Power the MPD and then the rockets. Tranzit even, was not that bad of an easter egg. If it had been slightly more rewarding it would have been great! Plenty of hidden nav card table pieces, jet gun pieces, and because it's the default map it's only fair those who aren't used to easter eggs should get some insight on how to do it. It also revealed the battle between richtofen and maxis. It had it's reasons for being such an easter egg. Die rise, buried, and Origins had no excuse. You shoved it in our faces and annoyed the crap out of those who didn't do what you said, then your rival still annoyed the crap out of you...
