Well think of it this way? The camp. Team, which the gameplay is all designed by the same people who make up the gameplay of the zombies team, so they can only take responsibility of the story and some of what new things were added... SO! Looking back, A dark and stormy map with new characters to black ops two with their names labeled next to their points at all times. There should be a compleatly new sheild, as well as a way to upgrade the wonder weapon by ways other then pack-a-punch! There should also be a way to upgrade wonder weapons by performing tasks rather then conventional means. There should also be a larger zombie running arround the map that hurts more then the other zombies! Maybe a way to remove access to certain perks and the box... Maybe a the boss zombie(s) could do this... The box should be compleatly new as well, and pack a punch shouldn't be the EXACT way they Remeber it... They also need an area that when accessed makes them free from zombies until they end up surviving a fall from a rediculously tall hight. Maybe there should be things arround the map that need zombie souls too! Once you fill them all you could get some kind of new really powerful weapon! OH! And the Easter egg will end the game! Perfect! Fire sales should be in this map too, but not carpenders,,, Radios transitions are need too! And of COURSE what would we be without a weapon from the WAW days that everyone thought would be grand but we'll nerf the HECK out of it! Now which map am I talking about? MOTD or Origins? The camp. Team did the same thing twice, where as the zombies team has always included something NEW and relevant to the storyline... Huckleberry, the nova jumpers, zombies with FUCKING TOP HATS!

Well that's freakin' gay... it basically cost us the game cause It's much easier to deal with panzers when the zombies are distracted... Just do what the doctor does: Run!
-
It is pretty horrible... And I blame the more complex leader-board... I would simply have 1 leader-board for each map like in black ops and WAW, not one for each amount of players with you... Its more complex, unnecessary, and honestly, kinda useless.... Lobby leaderboards and private matches that counted would have been a better investment...

Iv had a lot of fails on this map, heres my biggest
Stop Mocking Me0 replied to TheBSZombie's topic in Origins
Well it seemed to be the most interesting fail... Internet issues and simple zombie-downing is a bit sad... There was this time I built all 4 staffs and upgraded them and my inventory reset so I was in the crazy place on round 13 with nothing but a mauser.... -
POLL: What Gameplay element in Origins makes it the easiest?
Stop Mocking Me0 replied to ETEl2NAL407's topic in Origins
Ray gun starts making crawlers in the 20s... Staves don't sound to bad now do they? -
So putting the staffs back in the crazy place after EE.
Stop Mocking Me0 replied to Tridalo's topic in Origins
Here's an annoying ass glitch I found: I had the upgraded staff of ice and when I picked up the upgraded staff of fire my ENTIRE inventory reset after a large amount of evil-box-moving laughs... I was left in the crazy place, round 13, with nothing but a Mauser.... -
It would be a grand addition! Personally, I would love to see the wonderfizz return in the next installment of zombies too, it's fair-priced and allows more perks to be obtained while allowi less perk machines! If we DO see wonderfizz return to older maps, do you think the teddybear perma-perk would link to this as well?

Stop Mocking Me0 replied to TheBSZombie's topic in Origins
Biggest fail? Activated generator, but then I saw a double points so I immediately stepped off... Making it so I had to activate it again... -
The rumor came from been downing, the (children cover your eyes) ass who has been a complete bitch about the storyline.... He apparently has an inside guy... But yeah they are intertwined, some camp. team work with zombies, some zombies work with MP, some work with all three. That's why I said "so-called" because in reality, its 40-60% the same people with a different person in charge... But that makes all the difference doesn't it... And it wasn't those people in both who messed up, their job was gameplay, and they did a FANTASTIC job of it... It's the storywriters who have been slacking... the other 60-40%...

Idea for some future zombie mode
Stop Mocking Me0 replied to Cokelord's topic in Research & Development
Ooohh....I like this idea! It would be challenging but rewarding, something I enjoy in zombies maps. I don't like when getting useful stuff is too easy (I'm looking at you, Buried). Or just ridiculously taxing with no difficulty... Just waiting... (looks at origins and tranzit) -
As an added note, anyone who had no idea about the events that took place before black ops two are just about as lost as the ones who did... Storyline could be taken in anyway... Im thinking 2060s in ruined america, or as they call it now: New Germany  :o

Idea for some future zombie mode
Stop Mocking Me0 replied to Cokelord's topic in Research & Development
Round activation is not a good tactic, it would be simpler to ONLY be able to obtain it after Compleating a task, such as filling a chest with 100 zombie souls before stepping out of the footprint (if this was on origins) or rewarded after a boss attack... At round 30 points arent that big of an issue either... Like say this: By pushing a button somewhere in a map, a horrible tough George-like zombie shows up and your task now is to defeat it... By killing it you gain a yellow glow next to your name, and the next time you hit the wunder fiz you get the upgraded form of the perk, if it's not the perk you want, too bad... It can't be used on normal perk machines and you can only hold 1 at a time... If you already have the normal version of the perk you do have the chance to receive the upgraded perk version... It's difficult, but possible for skilled players... -
Idea for some future zombie mode
Stop Mocking Me0 replied to Cokelord's topic in Research & Development
Ah this idea again... Perhaps this could be interpreted into the wonder fiz machine,,, (I would love to see that return!) Maybe by collecting some weird power-up or part one can hit the wonderfizz and take an upgraded perk, even if they already have 4... There would be limits on upgraded perks for example: The ONLY upgraded perks are: Double tap (old)---> Double tap 2.0 Speed cola ----> Speedier cola (Now also allows you to switch weapons faster) Quick revive----> Quickly Revive: same effects as in solo, but in multiplayer! (This makes it challenging to obtain your own revive) you can not upgrade this perk in solo... Phd Flopper---> Dr. Flip-Flopper: Now blast works by simply falling from a large hight (red screen damage only) Mule kick---> Buck stallion: Allows one to carry three weapons AND more leathels, tacticals, and two parts. Stamin up---> Sprint-Me-Up Now also increases actual running speed slightly Deadshot Daquiri---> Deathshot daquiri: Causes all damage to zombie's to be increased, not just headshots... Electric cherry---> Eletric cherry bomb: Now when reloading causes a larger radius of eletrisicty to stun zombies... Teddy---> ? : Now this creates a sort of fire-sale but for perks, allowing all players to hit the device once for a 100$ shot at their perk, they only get 1 shot however and it can't be added to a set of 4 or more then 4 perks.... Also you can only hold four POWERED perks at a time, but you can still use the power up again to get all of the normal versions... Powered up perks glow with yellow-mist like the vulture aid perk... But yellow... Now,this seems a bit more well suited: A hard task for ONE shot for an upgraded perk, it may not even be the perk you want! Tough! -
Did you use them? It's likely something to do with the whole "napalm strike" concept... Purhaps you compleated a task but never got the new bombs but it still whiped them out of your inventory.... I noticed an issue with Semtex and tombstone in tranzit, and I THINK Semtex and who's who in die rise... They just wernt there when I got back up... Wasn't a big deal, only Semtex, I can buy it again, but it was strange...

POLL: What Gameplay element in Origins makes it the easiest?
Stop Mocking Me0 replied to ETEl2NAL407's topic in Origins
I dispize that wind staff.... It's the BIGGEST pain to build and the LEAST rewarding... When little kids are calling staffs in my lobby I make sure to say: I don't care what I get, as long as it isn't air... -
It should also be said that the four staffs are also symbolic of the four's future torchures... Red: Rage: Tank Dempsey Blue: Fear (of remembering): Nikolai Yellow: Imbalance of the mind: Takeo Purple: Insanity: Richtofen All of these madnesses are implied by element 115 tests and vrill-pyramids...

Or purhaps the so-called-camp. Team is too lazy to actually think of anything new: Eletric cherry, a huge boss, locked-downed perks and what-nots, area-baced-sounds, a different box, weird perk-machines, a safe area that is escaped from by falling from a high place, a grouped item storage system seen in the stats screen, an old weapon we think will be awsome but ends up being nerfed as heck, the sheild returns, wonder weapons can be upgraded by different means then pack a punch, an Easter egg with an ending, different characters, cutscene with guns not available in-game, multiple wall-outlines for the same weapons, things that need to be fed zombies for a cool powerfull reward, a new tacticle, a new way to power things, no bank or perma perks, Easter egg song activated by non-teddy bears and a code (aether song for those who haven't heard it), audio logs, harder-then-normal area (bridge, crazy place), No balistic knives, fire sales, specially dressed zombies... Need I go on?

Nope, I've got a standard (not entirely sure, think its two) gig Xbox 360, nothing unique about it.... Never a red ring or even constant freezing (although it does freeze every few months or so once or twice).... It's a good Xbox with poor Internet... What a waist... :(

I'm still confused about that whole charge-attack thing, what is is? I've only been able to fire one shot with the staff of any kind... Is it upgraded only? -
Doubt it, it was brand new from the store... But the issue is, origins is ON the drive.. and I have no idea how long that will take to not only move the origins over, but to open up space on the hard drive.... Sigh... I'll see what i can do... :(

Gross, bit vivid there.... Thank you for calming the insults down, this a great step towards reasoning. And yes, nothing beats the simple things... Then again moon was a blast... Perhaps it's not that things are too complex now, but rather they aren't as rewarding... Like the build-ables: lots of work into making them... No one uses them more then they need to.... But in moon: Two simple objectives: Survive and blow up the earth, no ending, no cheep 6-perks-you-lose-if-you-go-down, no button... Destroy earth, have fun with all perks, die, repeat.... But yeah, i understand I go a bit over the top on the storyline bit. It's only because it was SO great and now it's quite mediocre...

POLL: What Gameplay element in Origins makes it the easiest?
Stop Mocking Me0 replied to ETEl2NAL407's topic in Origins
I'm filing the dig abilities under rewards, getting a shotgun from the ground or the ice staff is helpful in the early rounds and later on respectively. Also it's the only way in the game to obtain all 9 perks, and anyone with mule kick, jug, flopper, speedcola, quick revive, a ray gun, a staff, and an upgraded weapon of choice is a FORCE to be reckoned with even with TWO kinds of robots trying to kill you, templars, and an all powerful little girl possibly from another dimension... -
The map takes place in WW1, maxis has no idea who this girl is until now, when she starts calling him her father.... Meaning Samantha was in no way relation to maxis before this map, or before ww1. If maxis were to escape argotha in a new body with sam, this still doesn't explain richtofen's age in the cutscene....

A key part of occam's razor is often forgotten about: A simplier theory, no matter how elegant, and/or efficient it is, should not be preferred over a more complicated and more correct theory. Sometimes the world is a mess, and we just have to accept that life colors outside the lines a little bit. WOW this was meant to be a love/hate thread lol anyways what ireally hate is the fact that treyarch had to give us an ending that completly messed up the zombies storyline becasue now we all know that its a game it wont feel the same playing zombies in the next installment what i really like about origins is the addition of the reward boxes and the unobvious locations such as he crazy place and where the staffs are assembled My apologies about my acts on the thread...

It's not dial up it's satellite... Not sure which one is worse... But the satellite works FAIRLY reasonably after a few days or hours... This time it just hasn't fixed it's self.... Would a large flash drive cause something like this though? i've been using one sense buried and nothing has gone wrong, other then the SUPER long process of turning ON the device.... And it's not the host, I get this when playing solo....
