Doing it in a public game when you wont die, meaning either everyone's going to continue going down indefinitely because you're unkillable, or they'll leave. The second thing is the right thing to do.
-
I had the same issue, but with the west wall beside the mainframe. What I've found is the second I see someone pulling this crap, I leave, and sometimes it even ends the game, yanking them down with me.

Currently resisting discussing the topic of DLC ideas by watching the new muppet show.... REALLY good.

Green steam/smoke...is this normal?

Wait are you talking about the speedcola bottle? -
Yeah I just busted my own theory. Nikolai, Takeo, and Tank all discuss about RichtoSam and her "decent shots" once she takes control of richtofen. They never outright say he sounds like a girl, so MAYBE they just assume they swap bodies.... But I doubt it.
-
Well no, because samantha communicates through the aether, mentally using the voice she'd expect to hear. She doesn't need vocal cords, and thus neither does richtofen. RichtoSam may say things in her head that sounds like a little girl, but her actual vocal cords would remain the same, making her sound to others like richtofen.
-
I think that richtofen talking like a girl was a sort of way for the player to identify that the two had switched. Realistically, swaping souls with richtofen wouldn't re-arrange richtofen's vocal cords.

Ghosts II: Actually about stealth this time.

Glad you liked it. I'll continue. -
It's entirely fake. The guy's a troll. Question BTW: What did you mean there'd be a sword in the giant?
-
Wrong context. when I say each gumball used I mean the random powerup one. There's a 1/8? chance of it working, but 100% chance of "on the house" working.

Has anyone discussed the (literal) Giant behind the mainframe?
Stop Mocking Me0 replied to a topic in The Giant
Richtofen refers to the ball on the moon as an artifact, just like the shadowman, furthermore it alone was used to power the rockets sent to destroy the earth. Remember that. It wasn't the rod, it was the round VERY SIMILAR LOOKING stone that was sucked into the gersh device that destroyed the earth. A stone strong enough to power three missiles capable of destroying the earth? Sounds like one of the most powerful artifacts of any universe. Furthermore whos to say the orb on "moon" wouldn't work in other worlds? -

Stop Mocking Me0 replied to a topic in The Giant
Constants and variables Tac. Every universe is exactly the same until it's different. The luteces knew that. We sacrifice things at four alters on both maps to feed a device on a circular panel which requires a ball-like artifact to work. See the connections now? If not just look at the difference in the moon artifact and the summoning stone. They're painstakingly similar. Also yes the keepers are the wraiths. I say that because I believe the "ancient society" is of vrill-ya origin. But I also don't think those things are Vrill-ya either. The keepers are more like wraiths, they appear from plasma-esque portals, and depict horribly disfigured cloaked visions of the past. I'd like to think the keepers are a sort of fire-wall to keep people from activating the device to allow species like the margs to cross over. But that's just a hunch with no viable evidence. -
How to upgrade the Apothican Servant legit?
Stop Mocking Me0 replied to steviewonder87's topic in Shadows of Evil
Someone should try playing that voice backwards. -
In buried, after completing the easter egg for maxis's side, we get to hear what richtofen knows about samantha, which is still cryptic. It describes how samantha is likely dead, but more importantly, is trapped within the body of richtofen. Now I'm just spitballing here... But what if the richtofen in the giant's opening, the old one... Is samantha from moon... It would explain a lot. Why she's gone quiet, why there's crying in the furnace... If samantha was controlling richtofen in that body, or was linked to it. She's just lost her last conduit to the human world, similar to gersh. It'd be a compelling act but look at the dialogue: "Do you know who I am?" That's not richtofen being arrogant, that's samantha trying to get the 3 to admit they know it's HER not HIM. I don't think the 3 catch on, they believe samantha left long ago. When richtofen (the younger) appears in the teleporter, she smiles and looks to him with great joy and pride. Because she knows that he's finally come around to do as she asks. "You can't keep doing this forever richtofen. You know what has to happen." -Samantha in Origins. This is richtofen admitting his defeat. Or so it seems, it is here that richtofen kills richtoSam and startles her she now resides in the aether with no body to control. What... to... do... Maxis then uses the beacon to find the 4, but at what consequence? This is a pretty far fetched theory, but I think it'd be one HELL of a plot twist!

I don't think the giant, SOE/origins could be on the same timeline.... Think about it, richtofen is in the giant both as crazy WAW richtofen and young richtofen, which is cool and all but it basically proves it's another universe. If it was the same universe, then richtofen just killed himself, and would always know he's killed himself, and thus wouldn't become crazy richtofen, whom he would then not be able to kill. It's a paradox unless you consider that he is killing a diffrent richtofen from a similar timeline. Also maxis explains that this site was shut down years ago (back after origins) and also multidiminsionality. Soe/origins is my own personal theory. In the origins universe samantha appears and takes control of the moon pyramid device (MPD), likewise, this causes issues as there's already a MPD here. She somewhat stops the signal from being used. Ruining it's plan to abduct richtofen years later in 1941. (Which was stopped anyways when richtofen entered the portal in origins.) Richtofen would then go on to not build griffenstation, which is why we have that altered moon loading screen picture in that trailer they gave us. Instead the germans fell after origins, leaving the french and americans the ability to reverse-engineer the technology from the germans. The result? Morg city. Set in 1945, but it has technology far more advanced then what it was. Massive train transit systems, robotic police enforcers, collapsible stairways and Dr. Monty's Gobble Gums. None of this previously possible in an average city. The moon pyramid device then decided to activate phase two. With samantha gone quiet at the reins of the main controller, one of the receiving relays would be hijacked by a nearby universe: The world of the shadowman. Margs with a long history of attempting to break the seal left by the vrill on the door to let in legions of their kind upon the world. There were two components to this: The ball artifact device, otherwise known as the summoning key, and sacrifices. Knowing the four sinners could be provoked to kill, the shadowmen (beings from the squid-side) use their advanced technology to awaken the 115 embedded in all the advanced technology (which you remember was brought about from the machinations of the origins robots which as well ran off of 115). Sparing the lives of the sinners by linking them with the abilities of their marg-counterparts. The 'beastmode" we see is actually 115 being infused to gain the body of the marg-version of Nero, Jessica, Floyd, and Jack. This was intended to be used to activate the ritual. With the rest of the city in shambles, it was up to these 4 to find hope. Which they found in the shadowman. Tricking the 4 into killing once again with the summoning stone, the relay was then used to allow the siege of the universe to come through. The margs began to seep out, despite the wraith-like vrill guardians attempting to stop them. With the help of the sinners, the wraiths manage to then combat the margs, sending them back to their own universe by using the summoning stone. From here, richtofen appears again and take the stone with him to "The Giant". Basically that's my thinking for why I think the origins universe is the same as SOE's. -
I've come to this sad conclusion as well. Any more easter eggs found will be nothing but notes I believe. That is a SHAME, I guess we do get an extra perk added to the map, and the annihilator pistol. There's no real need for anything else... Still a pity though....
-
I don't very much see the point... It's a mega gumball right? Well that means each gumball used gives you a chance of getting a perk bottle, where "on the house" works every time. It might be more likely to get that gumball, but it's still randomized by divinium...
-
Considering how powerful normal weapons become when double upgraded now, you'd think the wonder weapons upgraded form would be on par with that at least....
-
It does sink my heart though when I click a video titled "next easter egg step found"... Then see his name pop up....
-
It was the wisp step Mega, if you didn't throw a time-bomb down before releasing the wisp, you could complete the run, and the easter egg would be in-completable.
-
Well maxis's side of the buried easter egg...

So ghost was just about the most horrible fuck-up in COD history, and is nothing compared to advanced warfare or modern warfare 3, which is nothing compared to any treyarch game or the original two modern warfares. The most horrid thing about ghosts was that it just BULLSHITed through everything: The game is centered around stealth---> Hell to the no it's not, it's just like every other COD to date. The game's new dog feature is a must to enjoy---> The dog is only usable in specific campaign missions and ISn't that helpful. Fish swim away when you're close to them--> Super mario 64 did this, and there are no water physics in multiplayer. Also it has some of the worst acting in history (not even COD history, not even videogame history) with some of the least compelling characters. Time to write a redemption sequel that will hopefully make people forget this awful game. The story resumes with Logan in the pit with the federation watching over with Roark by their side. Eventually, a new prisoner is thrown in beside you... He's clearly insane to begin with, as his first intention is to whisper to you: "They can't clean the brain of a man who's already crazy." His name is Doctor Howard Bolvache, a who pursued medicine after quitting the army as one of the most powerful russian forces apparently. To learn medicine he moved to america under the name Malkov Rocsfield, where he became enthralled with their music. He later became a terrorist against the Federation. The rounds are going as planned until one day, while the guards are being particularly lazy, Rocsfield reveals he's packing a few shivs. Escaping the pit with a boost from you and using the shivs as thresholds, the two escape and take out the guards. From here on out you remain stealthy, as you're only armed with a pistol, however as you go on Bolvache consistently begins to softly sing "20 dollar nose bleed" by fall out boy . Eventually you reach a dead end where you're trapped by about 20 men all at gun point. It's here that Bolvache says to you: "Get on the ground now..." Then begins to sing the chorus of his song the loudest yet as he acts as if he's surrendering, however, upon muttering the word "steam" the path behind the men blows to high hell leaving a smouldering ruin of ashes. The explosives were set by Bolvache as he explains his nickname: The musician of damnation. The two finally escape the compound by commandeering a jet. Bolvache explains that most of america has fallen, and now is separated in three territories, constantly being squeezed by the Federation. The closest territory being around the area of florida. The two "land" the plane a few miles south of the florida point (they're in a federation vehicle after all). And row the way back in. When they arrive, there's a massive battle pursuing. Bolvache and you don scuba gear and take to the water. You eventually blow up the main submarine of the federation (to the tune of SAIL by awolnation), then taken hostage by the american solders, that is until one of them is revealed to be your brother Hesh. Hesh takes you two back to base. It's here he locks you both in a cell and questions you. He wants to trust you, but knows what happened to Roark, and that could have easily transcribed into Logan as well. He flatout does not trust Bolvache for good reasons, convicted terrorist being the most obvious. During the questioning, the base is raided by the federation, and Roark himself strolls in, and takes your brother. You and Bolvache escape, and take on the men holding Hesh. Last minute Bolvache manages to save you and Hesh. Accepting Bolvache and you to be friends, Hesh brings you along to the latest mission debriefing, led by Captain John Galt. The plan, named Operation Keating, planned on specifically targeting Roark, who's apparently being held up in a south american base. Oddly enough, the mission is a success. You and Hesh (and Riley) are outsmarted by Roark, but what roark doesn't see coming is Bolvache's plan. Roark gets caught with his pants down as the utter destruction of the entire base takes place upon Bolvache's highjacking of the intercom system. At first it appears you Hesh and Bolvache are soon to be met with a medal until.... You are now introduced to a new way of fighting. Before, you were limited to two weapons, a primary and a secondary. A few grenades, and a knife. Not any more. Instead, holding Y brings up a weapon-wheel, allowing you to hold onto a shotgun, a sniper, an assault riffle, a pistol, an RPG or grenade launcher, a grapple device, and an MG of some sorts (LMG to SMG). This is also seen in multiplayer which I will explain now. The game is truely centered around stealth now. Maps are much bigger and offer numerous hiding places. You get double XP for kills done without the enemy seeing you as well. There are also traps one can set. There are many character types to choose from, here are 3: -The mutt: You rely on your trusty K-9 to assist you in taking down enemies. You can equip your dog with steal teeth, and a mini-sentry gun which can be used remotely. This class is typically used for people who are more offensive and less tactical. Gains a death machine for a specialist weapon. -The rat: This guy is all about stealth kills, he can set up traps, rig environmental take-downs, and even grapple up to walls if he needs to. He can hide in shadows and in camouflage-able locations. This is the class designed for tactical take-downs. As a specialist ability he can throw a dark-grenade which creates a field of nanobots which stop all light in an area, making it pitch black. -The mole: All about hacking. If he can manage to identify your trap, or locate your dog and not set it off or alert the dog, he can hack it's sentry gun to become your enemy or set off the trap with you near by. He can also see destructible walls and set down a turret as a specialist ability. Any character can equip any weapon, or scorestreak. Some perks are specialized however: -Bolvache complex- Traps are completely hidden, but causes you yourself to hum a tune higher and higher depending on the amount of traps you've placed. -Hell hound- Equips your dog with a heart-beat explosive making it explode upon death -Fire wall- turrets are now equipped with flame throwers. Some map ideas include: Distopia: Set in the ruined streets of chicago. Manor: Set in a mansion in a louisianan swamp. Thin air: Set at the top of mount everest, ice is your enemy here.

Point still stands.
