Hey NMV I might be making a group to do something like that. Only we'd be playing co-op through campaign, then SOE, then the giant.

Then why do they go on rampage mode in the intro without killing a Margwa? Well I don't really think the intro will correspond to gameplay. From what it looks like, what made them fall asleep turned them into rampaging monsters, but how do they get that drink back? My guess would be rituals will be for PAPing and summoning margwas, killing margwas is the key to rampage mode. Rampage mode is the key to unlocking more areas of the map.

My thinking here is that: This can't do any harm. I mean, they've given us 2, possibly 3 zombies maps, DOA2, co-op campaign, and the funnest multiplayer yet IMO.... If they want to add a trial run training ground for new players to get used to the controls, or for pro players to get some impressive times, I'm all for it. Not that it matters however, douches will just glitch/hack the game to get top score anyways.

I'd play through that campaign with you if you were on Xbox KAM.

My guess is that while some things in the map will work without power, like the mystery box and some perks, others won't. Like the PAP, maybe a bridge or two, maybe certain doors that let you access certain areas. To get these last things unlocked, you need to summon a Margwa. This will bring him into the game and give you a boss to kill, once dead, you yourself become a monster as well, able to storm the map and zap things, smash walls, and DESTROY zombies for the round that fallows killing the margwa.

I actually don't care. As I have a 8:00am class that friday. I plan to wake up, check to see how if there is one, then start downloading. I would stay up til midnight for the release but our scedule depicts I'll have a test that day, and sadly school comes before gaming. I'll be able to play after from 9:20ish to 10:45, then after some point between 11:30 and 12 I'll be able to play again ALL DAY and then the fallowing weekend as well. If I get to play at all upon release day.

Many people so far have connected this new "Monster Mode" to a few things. Some say it's a gumball effect, some say it's the new afterlife mode. I personally think it's like afterlife mode, but it has to be activated by doing something and won't trigger upon death. I actually think in theory, that it's gained by KILLING the margwas. Like say you summon a margwa, that's obviously bad for you. But kill it and you unlock a few minutes of rampage mode, which during that time you can power objects, smash through walls, and kill zombies. I of course have no proof of this, but this appears to be my theory. Thoughts?

I'm not ruling anything out 100%, despite how unlikely it may look. I agree, I don't think it would be him. But you honestly never know with Treyarch. McNamara is the most universally hated character in zombies of all time. Yeah, that seriously is pulling a Jason Todd in zombies. Make a hated character into someone really interesting. I liked playing as McNamara. Defiantly better then marelton or russman.

I'm sorry... I don't want to undermine you or tell you that I don't care about your opinion. It's just the way the community is now and we need to evolve or die. I get everything you say. I think this is a bit drastic though. But okay fair enough I "give up". Maybe in time I will acclimatize in regards to these changes I certainly don't like, but what can you do. I do think she's hinted at sending it to me early November though, so I should have time. If it falls through though I won't forgive them for that. I sound heartless, but that's simply how it is.
