  1. The point being it doesn't look like a 1900s era weapon, does this mean the next game is set in the future? Or an altered past....
  2. A new custom map creator would be phenomenal to see! But It's likely just hinting towards how the community reacts to thing and how it effects trayarch.... QUICK EVERYONE ASK FOR THE O4 AND SIEGMAN TO RETURN!
  3. Looks like the MPD panel. And that map almost reminds me of die-rise...
  4. Personally, I like a map with LOADS to do, but not make any of it tedious. Sure a few things can be tedious, but as a whole, I don't want to have to cross an entire town to find some wires to build the worst weapon ever to take down maybe 15 zombies. I'd much rather uncover a secret code that tells the location of a weapon that runs on amo.
  5. Oh right! Dice! TBH I'm expecting them to totally beat around the bush and not really answer any questions....
  6. #Halflife3confirmed
  7. Holyshit... I had the BEST damn Super Bowl party EVER!

A lot of you live in other countries Tats... But no, actually, the game didn't matter to me, it was the events that happened TO us during the party that got me super hype.

  8. What many people don't realize is that this may be trayarch's plan. Make an amazing story, pulverize it, pull it back twice as amazing and people will fall in love with it again... It's the same way people reward you with candy-crush-saga-style reward: Sometimes the reward needs to wait so the reactant will gain twice the response.
  9. It was a drop (green glowy thing) that came from zombies. They're map specific, and there were many different kinds. Some found in different modes, areas, or from different zombies dropped different types. Some detailed the history of characters. Some told the uses and discovery of certain perks. Others weapons. Map areas. Ect.
  10. I had an idea like this once. Only mine was a filing cabinet with history accumulated WITHIN a zombies game (drops with papers on them would drop and leave information about things) .
  11. I'm going for @nightmarevoyager ! 348 post is almost 3 times the amount of posts I've made and I've been SUPER Hype about Exo-zombies! Damn that's a lot!
  12. I had an idea like this once for grief, where after you had been killed, you'd become an even bigger pain in the neck for the other team.
  13. What lag? If there is lag isnt that a problem with your connection as I dont lag on Origins unless it would in a case like any other map where its to do with the host. The lag generated by more entities then any other map: -Pansers -Templars -Robots -The shear size
  14. I only have one real pet peeve... Well... there's the undeniable lag and horrid threat of death anywhere.... But the only thing I TRUELY hate about the map is getting downed by being hit by the tank while it's going over the ledge. All my progress does not need to be jeopardized by a tank performing a normal action...
  15. May have just doomed the entire west coast but I gave the interview a 5 star rating on netflix...

  16. Hey guys, normally I'm not into environmental conversations but... DAMN you got to check this out: It's green, it's epic, and I't turn every road in the world to look like tron! FUTURE AND SHIZ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qlTA3rnpgzU

Okay, that's actually pretty cool. I was going to post something sarcastic before I watched it, but it actually makes a whole lot of sense and could be cool.

  17. Maybe the reason we rarely play custom games is because there was a lack of quality customization options? By adding really good unique customizations maybe it would be a lot more popular... Nah it's because it didn't go down in the leaderboards. But isn't that true for every zombies map ever? at some point in every game you are going to be satisfied with the weapons you have and the box is no longer necessary. That IS the point of every zombies game sense ahi-no-numa: Get the best weapon, hold off as long as you can. But isn't that true for every zombies map ever? at some point in every game you are going to be satisfied with the weapons you have and the box is no longer necessary. Yeah, the point of the box is its a gamble. But if you hit the jackpot and get a WW your set. Also whats the fun of using the same weapons over and over? Exactly, change your weapon variety, sometimes play with an LSAT, sometimes an RPD, maybe bring in the Origins MG08. But isn't that true for every zombies map ever? at some point in every game you are going to be satisfied with the weapons you have and the box is no longer necessary. With the relatively low ammo count on pre BO2 WW's, not really. The Thundergun, super powerful, but ran out of ammo quickly, same with the scavenger, or the Waffle. BO2, we had an insta kill WW that had 99 bullets in the ice staff, it creates a 7 second blizzard that kills everything it touches. If you played it right, in an area with limited spawn points, it could kill 40+ zombies per 3 bullets. Then there is the Sliquifier, a WW that could literally kill an entire rounds worth of zombies in a single bullet. Much different than a weapon that kills a dozen zombies, and has 24 (?) Shots like the TG. Anyways the real point is variety. There's maybe 5 guns in the box that don't offend you when you hit it. If all of the weapons were useful, you wouldn't use the same two or three weapons every single game. Different weapons with different styles, and perks. Some might he a high ammo count, others might be really powerful. Some can revive teammates. (spoiler) The new advanced warfare zombies allows you to upgrade weapons constantly, so lets see if we can get into the whole every-weapon-is-good bit.
  18. That's still true in both our ideas. We simply want to change what tiles the spinner can land on. Not the amount of tiles. Whats the fun of knowing what cards your going to draw before you draw them? At the end of the day, a good zombies player knows what weapons are in the box anyways. Plus like I said there's 5-10 other guns that are map-specific. I know every card in a regular 52 pack of cards, yet I still find joy in poker.
  19. If all the weapons in the box were good the box would have no point. Why even get a wall weapon for 1000 when you can just hit the box and get a different good weapon? On higher rounds ammunition comes into play, but before its a pretty risk-reward for the box.
  20. I am guilty of posting a lot of topics, many of which can be very similar. The main issue with it is that you won't feel like your comment will get as discussed and acknowledged if it's latched onto a different or "dead" thread. When I get a new idea, I try to post it in addition to a map concept. But that can't always be the case.

  22. I'm surprised nobody's stated the whole "ACCEPT YOUR FATE! BEGIN ANEW!" joke yet...
  23. See I find that more complicated for the players because now they've got to figure out which box is the one they want on the map, get to it, and prey it has their weapon. As for the custom game option, lets be honest, most of us only RARELY play with custom games, it seems like mystery-box content would be a customization and keep of programing that would go to waste. As for the game starting before the customization can finnish, this is zombies not multiplayer, believe me I KNOW from experience that these lobbies take much longer and almost always require one to ready up.
  24. I've been binging on #3 for too long....
