The Reason Why Zombies Attack Us
bad karma replied to xXExpertCoahXx's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I think that's more for gameplay purposes only. In the cut scene for Cotd, they weren't really trying to slap the celebrities as it certainly looked like they were trying to take a bite out of them. And does anyone find it weird that they specifically went for George Romero like that? I'm sure the zombies only attacked them in the first place because of the original crew's presence there, but it's all so very weird. Maybe, the zombies could somehow sense that they alone couldn't get to the Original Crew on their own, so they took the most advanced mind in the area, (George) and somehow turned him into a zombie. But, he went after the celebs, for reasons unknown, maybe because they were in the way, instead of the Original Crew. Think about it! -
The Reason Why Zombies Attack Us

I did notice this quote: "Don't do it! Mommy!" Do you reckon that it was Sam's mum in pyramid first to test and then they put Sam in because she is a child and the machine need a childs imagination? So mayb the story will continue from the point that edward cant control the zombies as he's an adult? hmm He was controlling them on Moon. I think I can elaborate. If you listen to the radios on moon, you find out that there was no one in the pyramid before Sam. They had recently discovered how to power the device (by using souls) and were trying to decide if they should put someone in there. Then, Samantha teleported to Griffin Station, and in her fear, blundered into the machine, becoming trapped inside. Sometime later, Maxis arrived at the base, going to Samantha to calm her down. Samantha was calmed, but then, Maxis asked her to promise him something....."Kill them all....please." At that point, Maxis was shot, and Samantha's rage was terrible to behold. The zombies desended, and thus began the story we know today, as Nazi Zombies. Up until Sam became trapped, the zombies were aimless, no master. And, as to the matter of Sam's mother, she probably died about the time Samantha was 5 or 6. (My evidense for this is found on the final radio on moon.) The quote, as mentioned above, is merely the common, age old cry of a child wanting her Mommy. Nothing more. Hope this clears things up! -

Wait, you mean.....the mysterious "Teddy" she keeps refering to? -
Humans as a whole are afraid of change. That's just a fact, not a critisism. But I wish that people who didn't like what may or may not happen with a game mode that hasn't even been announced yet would keep their text boxes empty. No offense. Dang. That was awesome! [brains] Um, Am I reading this right? Did someone actually think that something I wrote was awesome? Am I dreaming? Thanks!!!!!!

Possible Quotes (funny theory)
bad karma replied to xXExpertCoahXx's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Nikolai: Okay, let me guess. We have to turn on the power. Again. Does ANYONE leave their power on for these things? Or leave out their vodka? Takeo: Power to the Emperor! And hopefully to the fuse box. Dempsey: No power: Check. Moaning freakbags: Check. I've got a pistol: Damn Check. This seems a bit deja vu, don't cha think? Samantha: Die Richtofen! -
I don't know why people keep going on about Agartha. Zombies mode has been, for the most part, pretty realistic (aside from the zombies). I personally doubt that Agartha has any significanse at all in the story. Remember, IMO.

Accumulating Thread - "What Happens Next" Questions
bad karma replied to football5699's topic in Story Discussion
No, I'm pretty sure BOs took place in the 60's. W@W took place in the 40's, didn't it? And the cold war was sometime in the 60's/early 70's. Go check the dates of the levels again. -
Where to next, and how will the story continue?

By fueling nukes, I mean that there was just one nuke fueled by 115. A "full-sized" Wonder-Weapon, as it were. Make sense? -

Glad someone decided to do this. I feel kind of weird having two threads in one topic, though  . -
Something I've been DYING to bring to people's minds, but think about the quote, "What happens when the enemy steals the keys?" Currently, in any form of signal transmission or unmanned anything, the code in place would take your entire lifetime to crack. And if you did manage to crack it, they would already being using a different incryption. That would mean only one thing, storyline wise (IMO): There is a Mole, or a traitor, in the army. They passed the keys to the enemy, and all hell breaks loose. If this is the case, the storyline would be broken up into two ultimate goals: Finding the Mole, and fixing the problem (keeping the enemy from terroizing us anymore) all while surviving the onslaught delivered by the robots. Thoughts? Disagreements? Comments? Post Below! All thoughts are welcome, even ones that are negative!

We all know (or guess, depending on your mindset) that zombies is about to take a turn for the awesome. But the question on everyone's mind is: what maps will be used, and how will they relate to the storyline? Here is a prediction I have. We've had a snow map, a jungle map, a space map; the only two things we haven't seen are a desert map, or an underwater map. Think about this story wise: the desert map could take place where they tested nuclear weapons, so there might be zombies there with horrible disfigurations. And who's to say that Group 935 didn't have a hand in developing the nuclear bomb. Or, at the very least, fueling it. (115, anyone?) And with an underwater map, Group 935 might have a research/testing center under the sea somewhere, (This literally just occured to me, what if it's in the vicinity of THE BERMUDA TRIANGLE? That could explain a lot of things) I mean come on! They built a base on the moon, they could just as easily build a base underwater with zombie sharks, diver suit zombies, maybe a zombie squid or two.... Thoughts? Comments? Post below!

8 Players; who are the other 4?
bad karma replied to owner_101's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I'm thinking that more than likely, the 8 player modes are going to include soldiers, similar to Nacht der Untoten and Verrkuct. That would not only be awesome, but would keep from interfering with the current storyline. -
Let me elaborate. Samantha has been trapped in the pyramid for close to twenty years. While her voice doesn't seem to have changed, her knowledge probably has. And yes, I know that it might not be, but it's possible. And come on! As hot as the girl looks, does it really matter ? Anyway, because of how old she is time-wise, her spirit being in richtofen's body would, in theory, cause it to change to a form mirroring the age and gender of Samantha. I mean, come on, it would have been creepy to keep her in a 40 something year old man's body for much longer. Again, this is just my thoughts on this topic. I am not claiming this to be a fact. Post below!
-
I'm sure we've all seen the zombies poster thing, and have wondered how Samantha's body changed (in case you forgot, Samantha, an 8 year old girl, swapped bodys with richtofen, a 40 year old man). One possibility I came up with was that Samantha's spirit caused the body to change from disgusting old man, to HOT GIRL. Thoughts? Comments? Leave them here!

First it was Sally, now it's Charlene! -
I can't pass my complete judgment yet but it seems that they're running out of ideas... Don't be so quick to hate! Maybe we need something like this to shake things up! Let's just see what other trailers they release in the near future, and then judge when the game comes out. If nothing else, we should have zombies to look forward to!

300 seconds till reveal. thats about 360 seconds till Youtube and this forum EXPLODE after seeing the trailer. Prepare yourselves!

It doesn't sound like MW3 at all, other than being set in the future. Mw3 Was a world war. BO2 sounds like a Cold War. (Or even a Tepid War I'm sorry, I couldn't resist)

New thought: What if Tacitus is an operation name instead of a manufacturer like everyone thinks? Thoughts anyone?

I dunno, when I look at the intel for the 29th, I see part of some kind of sniper rifle. But maybe that's just me.
