zombie achievements officially revealed
TheDunbarian replied to GRILL's topic in General Zombies Discussion
So we have TranZit AND Green Run? I think I've figured it out. TranZit will be the campaign mode we were shown in the trailer. Green Run will be a map made specifically for survival in the classic style of the maps we had in WaW and Blops, featuring our original characters and continuing the story. I know they said that survival maps would be smaller portions of TranZit, but they didn't say that ALL the survival maps would be these. We're getting Nuketown Zombies, so we know that SOME maps have to be specific to survival - I don't think they're making Nuketown the size of TranZit and cutting it up . So, if for each DLC we got: a new map the size of TranZit (or an expansion of TranZit) cut up into five (or more!) survival maps, and one "classic" survival map to continue the story, that's at least six survival maps per DLC... This gon be gewwwwdd... -
Now if what you say is within the realm of possibility, and they could fit 10 maps into one Tranzit type thing, then THIS would be quite the way to release the classic maps...

The sound at the end, which you guys are claiming sounds like a freezing sound, to me sounds more like a release of gas. I really think this is a gas-related weapon. It makes sense what with all the Avogadro stuff Zielinski was giving us earlier, and it's definitely something different from what we've seen before. But what would it do?
-
The weapon had two gauges on top of it, measuring something. It sounded like this was charging up. Looks like this might have something to do with gas and/or pressure. Sound familiar?

exactly :? you cant say just cause a map looks apocalyptic that it takes place after moon. But the blue eyes ARE proof that it takes place after Moon... Zombies before Moon: Orange eyes Zombies after Moon: Blue eyes Orange eyes = Before Moon Blue eyes = After Moon Do I need to explain this in some sort of other way? I think this is about as simplistic as it gets...

There have been quite a few articles with new information released today. Go check out some of the links in Liam's Tranzit thread - you might have to scroll a bit to find the good ones.

More than one giant map?

I'd buy ;) -
Center for Disease Control. The first organization you would turn to in the event of zombie apocalypse. why would the CIA be fighting the CDC? Wouldn't they both be trying to stop richtofen? Honestly, it's probably just for fun, with no regard to the story. They couldn't exactly separate two teams of characters, the teams needed to be split by some kind of organization. This works.

What is the ultimate goal of Tranzit?

Now you're gonna have to deal with the LPD (Leak Police Department)... -
I have faith in Treyarch. They will continue the classic style of the survival maps and make everyone happy. Just watch.
-
What we were shown was just Tranzit, the campaign mode. I'm sure the crew will return for survival.

4z4 is not rumored, it's confirmed. Having it on the multiplayer maps would just be stupid, I feel like they'll put it on the regular zombie maps. Sidenote: I feel like the 4z4 would be perfect on the classic maps. It would be great to experience those old maps with new challenges. Just sayin You're being dangerously close to talking about leaked information by bringing up the Green Run... But the Green Run was an event that took place at the Hanford site, which is what I'm 99.9% sure "The Map" is. So that wouldn't be its own map, if it has any correlation to the story (which, being a mysterious conspiracy theory, would only make sense) it would be part of "The Map".

What i think the Tombstone is.
TheDunbarian replied to CLAYMORE's topic in General Zombies Discussion
This is actually very likely. On a HUGE map like this where you could spawn back in miles away from whatever it is you wanna buy upon resurrection, it would make sense to insert an equipment like this, so you could, say, spawn in next to Juggernog, or your favorite wall weapon. I like it. -
Zombies release countdown and DLC news.

Who doesn't? 8-) -
We have utterly no idea what will be confirmed or shown tomorrow.
-
I think we will get The Map and Nuketown, AND an uber secret bonus map for beating the campaign that they haven't told us about. Think about it: WaW, you beat the campaign and go straight into zombies, unlocking Nacht der Untoten. Black Ops, you beat the campaign and go straight into zombies, unlocking "Five". It's a zombies tradition at this point. It's a SECRET map, it only makes sense that they wouldn't have told us about it yet ;)

Seems like you could be onto something here. Maybe the tombstone pops up where a player dies. I mean, that gravestone in the picture looked a bit out of place if it was supposed to be there naturally. What it does, or anything else about it, I really have no idea. Umm, in zombies...? :?

Zombies release countdown and DLC news.
TheDunbarian replied to punkrockzombie's topic in General Zombies Discussion
What up with the zombie climbing OUT of the front window of the bus...? The electrical storm in the sky seems to support the generally popular theory of an electrical boss - looks like you're gonna get what you wanted, Electric The driver does have glowing blue eyes, but the way it's sitting straight up with a blank expression, contrast to a normal yelling, thrashing zombie. It seems more like a robot, but I dunno, those eyes... -
Something about that woman...
TheDunbarian replied to Stop Mocking Me0's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Sophia may become more involved in the story, but I really think the woman is gonna be Samantha. I don't know where Sophia would've come from and where Samantha would leave to. I think it's either Samantha or a new character. -
Avenged Sevenfold - Carry On
TheDunbarian replied to LiamFTWinter's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I must say that after listening to the song I find myself, honestly, disappointed. Not saying it's a bad song. It's just not Avenged Sevenfold good. It's not "Not Ready to Die" good. If Avenged does another song for zombies, then I hope it's not this one. Doesn't sound dark enough. That being said, I'd be quite happy if this were just a song for the campaign. Sounds like something they'd play in the credits. -
My explanation: this map takes place in Hanford, a HUGE research facility the size of a city, with over 50,000 scientists living there and a massive bus system to get everyone around. You think 50,000 scientists wouldn't have at least tried to automate that?

Avenged Sevenfold - Carry On
TheDunbarian replied to LiamFTWinter's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I'm not surprised they released the A7X song first. The tradition with Black Ops is that no one heard the Elena songs until the map's release. I'm assuming that the Elena song is gonna be on the big map with the bus (since that will probably have our original characters) and the A7X song will be on Nuketown or some on-disc extra map (where we probably won't have the original characters). -
I'd probably go: UAV - I always like to be that team player who uses this, and it looks like this game rewards you more for it Death Machine - Cause, you know, it's a f**king death machine... Dragonfire - I wanna try this. It looks interesting and powerful
