Zombie Playercards and Stats
TheDunbarian replied to ItsFromMars's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I really do hope they incorporate this. Adding on to this: challenges for individual weapons, that could actually unlock you rewards for that weapon. Example: Challenges for the Galil Galil Slayer 1: Get 50 kills with the Galil Galil Slayer 2: Get 100 kills with the Galil ... ... 3: ... 500 kills - unlocks ability to choose PaP camo for the Galil ... ... 4: ... 1000 kills - unlocks ability to choose attachments for the PaP'd Galil ... ... 5: ... 10000 kills - unlocks ability to PaP the Galil a second time (double PaP FTW) This would be the basic set-up for all weapons. Double PaP is something a lot of players want, but if they really want it for a weapon, they have to show their worth with that weapon. Also, I think the ability to choose your PaP camo would be cool. You could choose between the WaW camo, the Black Ops camo, and some new camos introduced in Black Ops 2. I think it would be cool ;) -
Why would they chose nuketown for a zombie map?
TheDunbarian replied to CarefulStranger's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Actually, they said that the map that comes the game would be bigger than any map they've made. They didn't say the same applied for every map. Usually the DLC maps get progressively bigger anyways, but they changed that rule when they made Shangri-La and that was my favorite map, so hopefully they do something like that again with Nuketown. I think Nuketown will still be small, but like zombies small. Zombies small and multiplayer small are two totally different versions of small. Multiplayer small is Nuketown, while zombies small is Shangri-La. -
But now really, would that be fair to all the other players who aren't playing as Samantha? Plus, if she had retained a power, I don't think she'd need to drink a Perk-a-Cola to use it.

Something that has been bugging me
TheDunbarian replied to FatedTitan's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Haha probably, but I'm thinking Nikolai is probably unaffiliated with this American post-WWII top secret weapons development group. Although, 87 could be the number of wives he's had  -

TheDunbarian replied to FatedTitan's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Maybe... I'm wondering if the 87 has less to do with the weapons themselves, and maybe more to do with the group that developed them. After all, that's what this topic is about (or is turning into), discussing how both of these weapons link to CoDZL. I'm thinking the 87 represents CoDZL. But how? -

Not a bad idea. A forum game where we write these cultists' bible? I'm in. -

TheDunbarian replied to FatedTitan's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Thanks! And I think the point of giving "brains" is that we're all zombies, and brains are what zombies want more than anything. ... Or something like that, I'm not entirely sure myself Wow, we've found a way to stray pretty far from the topic... -
Well, I found her voice interesting. Seriously, do the easter egg and listen to her voice. It still has some effects on it. However, being that she's in a human body, I don't think she's retained any of her powers. She does, however, still seemed to be possessed by the voices of Aether, much like Richtofen was. Richtofen got possessed by the voices when he TOUCHED the pyramid. Samantha was actually INSIDE the pyramid and Aether, so maybe the force is stronger with this one Seriously though, it might even explain why her voice still sounds weird

In honor of post #115...
TheDunbarian replied to Electric Jesus's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I mostly skimmed this, but I notice that a lot of them are previous ideas you posted in other threads, most of which I have read. You've always got a lot of great and interesting ideas to bring to the table, I enjoy reading them. I've also always liked the interesting point you raise about Christianity: nowhere in the Bible does it say that Jesus is not electric ;) -
Black Ops 2 Easter Eggs (Straight Up Epiphany)
TheDunbarian replied to xXExpertCoahXx's topic in General Zombies Discussion
What if there's no zombies? What if the American government falls? What if the Earth stops spinning? What if the sun explodes? What if we stop suggesting such things? What if I am...not allowed to make jokes anymore. Haha sorry man, I knew it was a joke, I just responded with a counter-joke. Anyways, what about in-game rewards? I'd like to see something a little more original (and less OP) than permanent perks. -

TheDunbarian replied to FatedTitan's topic in General Zombies Discussion
*desperate And I think we're actually on to something. And if we're not, oh well. It's not like anything's actually at ri- *sun explodes, sending massive fireballs hurling down to Earth, melting cities and burning millions of people, before the world turns to ice from lack of heat, and then no longer having any large mass to gravitate around, drifts away until it finds its way to a black hole, vanishing forever into the darkness* -

Why would they chose nuketown for a zombie map?
TheDunbarian replied to CarefulStranger's topic in General Zombies Discussion
See, I don't think it will be the O4, because it's an exclusive DLC that not everyone is getting. If it were the O4, then the people who didn't get it would run into some serious continuity issues. I think it'll be like "Five", where it takes place at the same time as another map and is related to the storyline, but it doesn't follow the O4. Actually, something that would be cool is that if the Easter Eggs in The Map (big city map that we know is coming with the game) and Nuketown were somehow linked. Like, certain steps in the Nuketown EE would affect steps in The Map EE. Not gameplay-wise of course, just so you know that both these maps take place at the same time - like the phones linking "Five" and Ascension, only this would be part of a larger EE. -
I like it. If nothing else, it at least shows that the staff is working to keep the site updated. Plus, like they said, this isn't even everything. I won't complain about Premium. They're right, sites like this are expensive to maintain. It's all aesthetic, it's not like the premium members are, I dunno, getting exclusive CoD DLC before anyone else Who knows, maybe I'll even find some extra cash to spare ;)

I'm pretty sure it's confirmed that the hanging body in Shi No Numa is Peter. And also, his grave in the iOS version to compensate for the hanging body not being there. And wow, you're right! I always assumed the crouching man in the Kino loading screen was Dempsey, but now I have my doubts. Dempsey's hair is short, and is very close to the color of his skin, but it's definitely there. This guy is just straight up bald though. Interesting find ;) -
Why would they chose nuketown for a zombie map?
TheDunbarian replied to CarefulStranger's topic in General Zombies Discussion
To everyone who keeps assuming that Nuketown zombies will be small... why? Do you honestly think they're gonna use the exact same layout as the actual Nuketown? Is Ascension exactly like Launch? Is Shangri-La exactly like Jungle? They're gonna use the THEME of Nuketown to make an entirely NEW map for zombies. Sorry for the rant, it's just that too many people automatically assume that they're using the same exact Nuketown. I saw one kid ask if the zombies would be able to hit you if you stood on top of the sign. *facepalm* -

TheDunbarian replied to FatedTitan's topic in General Zombies Discussion
How is 87 a reference to The Coming Race? Unless of course you mean in the ways that scoop and I already discussed. See now, that's a bit of a stretch. I think if we thought hard enough we could find any reason to relate 87 to ANY wonder weapon, no matter how obscure the reasoning. We need to find some common reason relating the V-R11 and the Wave Gun. -
Never played Saints Row the Third, so didn't really know that's what I was describing but yeah, if you've ever played that, then that's basically what I have in mind!

Black Ops 2 Easter Eggs (Straight Up Epiphany)
TheDunbarian replied to xXExpertCoahXx's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Well, Electric Jesus certainly had some stuff to say. Not sure what that last part was about but the rest of that post had some cool ideas. I wouldn't like to see Nuketown have a time limit for the whole game. I just feel like it wouldn't fit well with zombies (unless of course, it were it's own mode, or customizable option). But your ideas for the radiation zombies, etc. are pretty cool And I would like to see some tricky easter eggs for Blops 2. I'd like to try to figure one out on my own again, it was an awesome experience (and made me feel like a genius )
