Not sure why the Earth starts shaking either. I don't think it has anything to do with the ground splitting open more in the bus depot. I think the cracks all around TranZit have more to do with the fact that California is right on a fault line combined with the missiles rather than just the missiles splitting the ground open - this would explain why TranZit has cracks in the ground but Area 51 does not. I don't know what the Earth shaking means either. It seems too intentional to be a glitch though.

. While I'm at it: *supposed *their Alright, now that I'm done being a douchey grammar Nazi, I'll refer to the topic at hand. I'm sorry that you're disappointed with Black Ops 2 zombies. Truly, I am. I was at first too. But then I played it more, figured out how to survive on TranZit. There's always something new to discover - using the denizens to make teleporters: HUGE gamechanger for me on that map. You're right, it's not Black Ops 1 zombies. Black Ops 1 zombies was essentially running in a circle for hours - and I loved it. But this is something new. High rounds are much more challenging, and therefore those who achieve them will receive much more respect. TranZit was made for us, the hardcore zombies community. And if you prefer Black Ops 1 zombies to this, well then that's just ok. They're two entirely different games, and everyone's entitled to their own opinion. Either way, happy slaying ;)

1. Skull with Knife, 4 tallies, no blue eyes 2. 31, solo, Nuketown 3. no 4. yes 5. yes 6. yes, I was at Skull with blue eyes and 5 tallies. Turned off system for the night, next morning I had lost 1 tally mark and blue eyes 7. played a mediocre solo game of TranZit. First game I had played since I lost blue eyes and tallies like I mentioned in question 6. After this game, I had Skull with Knife, still 4 tallies and no blue eyes. This was on Wednesday, rank hasn't changed since

6 players on TranZit - Glitch? Or something else...?
TheDunbarian replied to Shapeshifter's topic in TranZit
Dear god I hope this is possible... -
I haven't had a problem with Theater yet. I'm on Xbox 360, maybe that has something to do with it? Although, after reading Tom's post, I can't imagine that a PC can't handle anything a 360 can - unless it's one crappy PC

Ohh ok, that explains it. Should've checked the TranZit forum and not just the General Zombies. Herp derp  Feel free to lock this now mods...

Permanent Earnable Perks Proof and how to unlock them
TheDunbarian replied to blackfire561's topic in TranZit
So THIS is how I got permanent Quick Revive! I thought it had something to do with ranking and getting a certain upgrade based on your strengths... And honestly I liked my theory better than what it actually turned out to be, because with my idea everyone would only get one ability, and so everyone in the game would have his own signature ability, so that each person would bring something different to the team and play a different dynamic role. But this is cool too  -
That can't be true, I've played zombies every day since release. I'm still at the regular skull with four slashes. Hmm, but me and my friend had the same experience. We haven't played for a little while (maybe it was 24h, maybe at bit less). Then our blue eyes were gone. After one game, they were back. Maybe it's an average playtime over a few days. E.g. you need to have 20h playtime in the last 7 days to get it or something like that. No, that can't be it. I lost my blue eyes overnight four days ago, played for hours every day since then, and still haven't gotten them back - despite being ranked up from "Skull" to "Skull with Knife".
-
So back on Wednesday, after waking up and playing one game of TranZit, I leveled up to the skull with a knife behind it. I thought "hey, that looks cool". Then I played a game of TranZit with two of my friends. One of them got double-slapped on round 1 and went down. Hey, it happens. So I went to revive him and noticed that I revived him at Quick Revive speed. I said "huh, weird", but didn't really think much of it. Just a glitch, I supposed. Few rounds later, another one of my friends went down. So I went to revive him and, again, picked him up with Quick Revive speed. This time, however, I noticed that the word "Reviving..." was blue instead of white. For the rest of the game, I seemed to have this permanent Quick Revive ability. I started up another game and asked one of my friends to down himself as soon as we started, so I could see if I still had it. He did and, lo and behold, Quick Revive speed. In fact, to this day, I've had this ability on every single co-op TranZit game I've played. It's a great advantage, because not only can I pick up my teammates in even the stickiest of situations, but it also frees up space for another perk. It only seems to work on TranZit co-op though, because I've tested it out on every single other mode and map, and it doesn't work on Survival, Grief, or Nuketown, and it certainly doesn't work Solo unfortunately. What's interesting about this is that I seemed to get this ability as soon as I reached that particular rank. Is it just a coincidence, or does the ranking system actually have it's benefits? I've also seen similar stories on the forum, except on Solo mode. People have said that they were revived upon going down even though they didn't have a Quick Revive, and the word "Reviving" was indeed in blue. But I don't have this ability, and these people didn't mention having the ability in co-op. Now, I take the revival of my teammates seriously. Quick Revive is always the second perk I buy (right after Juggernog of course) and I will fight tooth and nail to revive a teammate. I always have the most revives in a game, averaging about 10-15 per game - 30 or more if I'm playing with randoms or less experienced players. And then it gives me this ability that grants me the greatest advantage that it possibly can (without getting OP of course - it's not like it would give me permanent Jugg). Meanwhile, the people who got the free self-revive in solo might be hardcore solo players. My theory: the game looks for and recognizes your abilities and strengths and upon reaching a certain rank grants you an ability that best plays to your strengths. Abilities seen so far: Permanent Quick Revive in co-op One free Quick Revive in solo (list may be updated if more abilities are reported) Now as likely or unlikely as this may be, it is still just a theory. I look to all of you now with the rank of Skull with Knife or higher. I skimmed my friends list to see if any of them had reached this rank yet, but there was only one - and that would be our own perfectlemonade. So perfect (and anyone else with this rank) reply to this post telling me if you've noticed anything new about your game ever since ranking up. Let's see if we can figure out how Treyarch is messing with us this time For the TL;DB: Ranking up to "Skull with Knife" may grant you certain abilities based on your zombie strengths. If you have reached this rank and seem to have some sort of new ability, please report it here.

What if 3arc kept putting W@W maps in future DLC?
TheDunbarian replied to Cheesekake76's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I said as soon as TranZit was announced that they should make an expanded Der Reise. The survival maps could include the classic Der Reise along with four new maps - my ideas are the Weapons Factory (one of the giant buildings we see in the background), Breslau (an area of the nearby city), the Maxis Home (major easter eggs here) and the Catacombs. I REALLY hope they do this. -
Nuketown Zombies: Solo Guide
TheDunbarian replied to perfectlemonade's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I like this map, and it's easy. I don't usually like easy maps. I got to 31 solo on my second game. And it was only after that game that I realized I was training in the wrong backyard the whole time (I was behind the yellow house) Nice guide, perfect. Might go for a higher round on this once I've played the s**t out of TranZit some more ;) -
the vrill control scheme
TheDunbarian replied to logan69trainz's topic in General Zombies Discussion
If the Vril-ya aren't the voices controlling Richtofen from the Aether, then what is? And why do they want to destroy everything? -
What if 3arc kept putting W@W maps in future DLC?
TheDunbarian replied to Cheesekake76's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I'm thinking NDU was just a neat little Easter Egg. But hey, you never know! Honestly though, I'd rather be able to play the full maps rather than find one room of it in a larger map. It was bugging me how when I found NDU I couldn't go into the "help" room or upstairs. -
The leaderboards are much improved over Black Ops 1, but still leave some things to be desired. For one, I understand why custom games don't count towards leaderboards, but why is it the only way to play a private match? If my friend and I want to go for a high round by ourselves, how do we get it on the leaderboard? Also (while I'm complaining and talking about easy improvements Treyarch can make) why can't I take my four-person Grief team online? Only 3 people are allowed in a party that might go into a public match, so if the full zombies team that I've been playing with since Black Ops 1 wanna go ham on another team in Grief, we can't do that for some reason...

Nuketown and Moon in the 60s?
TheDunbarian replied to Sandwich's topic in General Zombies Discussion
But Call of the Dead took place in modern day, and yet we still used Cold War weaponry. I think we have to rely more on clues around the map to define our timeline, rather than the weapons. Remember, our weapons are being given to us by a psychopathic Nazi who probably isn't afraid to mess with the fabric of time by sending us weapons from the future via the mystery box. The blue eyes on the bus driver also indicate that it might be controlled by Richtofen. This raises yet again the eternal question: why would Richtofen (and formerly Samantha) try to help us? He wants us dead, and yet he gives us power-drops and weapons from the box. -
Grief Mode- Some things you may/or may not know
TheDunbarian replied to bbobs2's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I love Grief so far, it's exactly what I expected it to be and more. My only problem with it is that I wish it were on more than two maps. I mean, would it have been too difficult to put it on Nuketown? I don't care how awesome TranZit is, they got a bit lazy with the Survival and Grief modes. Hopefully updates and DLC will fix this. -
15 months. It has been almost 15 months since we received Moon, our last taste of fresh, new zombies action. I'm with you perfect. It's time to move on. It's hard to describe how excited I am for tomorrow.

I'm just gonna pick up my HARDENED EDITION after school tomorrow. I've been the stage manager for my school play and I've been really busy (which is why I've been pretty inactive on the site as of late) but by some miracle of God there's no rehearsal tomorrow, so I'm in the clear for some zombie slaying good times! :D

NUKETOWN ZOMBIES NOW COMES WITH SEASON PASS...
TheDunbarian replied to GRILL's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Guys, stop complaining. Personally, I'm glad that those who missed out on the Hardened Edition don't have to wait 9 months to get this map. I have friends that wanted the Hardened Edition for this map but waited too long. Now I don't have to wait forever before I can play it with them. Moral of this story: It doesn't matter what Activision does; people will still bitch about it. -
Difference between Green Run and Tranzit?
TheDunbarian replied to electricpenguin7's topic in TranZit
Since I have been paying attention to NO leaks - since I want to be surprised, and come on, it's literally two days away - I stand by my previous theory: TranZit is the name of the massive map with the bus consisting of five survival maps, and Green Run is a map exclusive to survival which will continue the story of our original characters. We know that there has to be SOME survival-exclusive maps (Nuketown), and the fact that some achievements distinguish between "In TranZit" and "In Green Run" implies that the two are completely separate. -
I still think that Burns was referring to the ZOMBIES not wanting to piss the driver off, seeing as he said this right as the bus steamrolled a group of zombies. Maybe he's implying that the bus can hit players...? Also, since Woods was mentioned somewhere in this thread, I wouldn't be surprised to see Woods featured in a zombies maps. The 115 tattoo was a hint, along with the fact that Burns loves zombies. And he also made that comment about him telling the zombies devs "guys, you gotta put Woods in the zombies levels". I'm hoping that we might see him in a bonus map that we get for completing the campaing - like "Five" in BO1.

Possible Info on Nuketown Zombies (not leaked)
TheDunbarian replied to GRILL's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I think this guy's just confused. When Nuketown zombies was announced, people were really confused, saying "So wait, Nuketown 2025 is gonna be a zombies map?" No one got the concept that they're two separate maps. This guy must think that Nuketown 2025 is a multiplayer map with zombies underneath it. ... Saying that now, it sounds really stupid. Can anyone really be THAT confused...? -
Vahn Reveals Zombie Menu! (Not a Leak)
TheDunbarian replied to Flammenwerfer's topic in General Zombies Discussion
It looks badass, yeah, but it doesn't have the same creepy zombies feel of the BO1 TV screens. Honestly, this looks like a menu screen for Halo or something... -
Conquering dynamics of zombies
TheDunbarian replied to Mr. Jay's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I would never say that one is limited by his talents. If I told myself a year and a half ago that one day I'd reach round 93, I'd tell myself that I'm crazy. Practice makes perfect. And that's exactly how one would improve his instinct. Calling it "instinct" is technically incorrect, because instincts are inborn traits common among an entire species. Humans actually have very few of these. We have reflexes, and certain ways of thinking of things, but very few instincts. (I'm taking a psychology class right now, and felt the need to correct this ) However, one would be correct to call what you're talking about a "second nature". Play zombies a lot, you'll soon develop this second nature which would grant you better reaction time to certain situations. It's just like driving, or playing an instrument. We weren't born with ingrained knowledge of how to play, but now it's hard to imagine not knowing what to do. -
I don't feel like re-capping my reasoning do I will make it short. I think green run and a possible DOA will get Unlocked after campaign. Green run = O4. I feel like Green Run will be the equivalent to Kino, unlocked from the beginning, and we'll get a different map when we complete the campaign, one that we haven't heard of ("Guys, you gotta put Woods in the zombies levels...")
