  1. I suppose, but it's kinda cool hearing yourself in-game. Plus, what if you could make multiple characters? Like, creating your own ideas for characters, or you could impersonate a celebrity, or a character from your favorite movie/TV show, etc. The possibilities are endless! And then you can put them in your file share to show off your best characters! Your friends could download and play as them. Far fetched, but it would be awesome ;)
  2. Actually, I'd rather look for the EE on my own, rather than having a bunch of hints handed to me on a silver platter. I figured out the Moon EE on my own (well, with my friend anyways) and it was much more fun than just looking up how to do it on the internet. If you really just wanna be told how to do the EE, then that's what the internet is for.
  3. Right. Both these "magical" and "healing" properties come from Vril, of course, so maybe that's what the 87 represents. Now, why would the 87 also be on the Wave Gun? Could Vril have been used in the Wave Gun as well? The V-R11 and the Wave Gun are entirely different in just about everything they do and how they look, I really don't see any connection between them.
  4. Thank. God. It's time to clear this up. I'll be a little disappointed if it's Richtofen, even though a part of me knows it probably is.
  5. But imagine if someone on the other team REALLY needed to buy something. Like, they need to open a door or else they're gonna get trapped. Sure, it's easy to say "well then the fire sale would be great, cause it would screw them over". But the red power ups would be intended to disadvantage the other team, not completely destroy them. So if someone were forced to open a door for double price, it might screw them over if, say, they were saving up for Juggernog, they're now short 2000 points.
  6. It would be easy by keeping one zombie alive at the end of a round. Unless they incorporate timed gameplay! Too cruel. Unless it were it's own game mode, and not the actual classic survival mode.
  7. Well, about the perks: remember that the difficulty of this is gonna escalate quickly. Killing 70 zombies in an endless swarm, trying to keep a combo therefore eliminating the possibility of running a train, without Juggernog, CAN be difficult. It works this way in MW3 Chaos as well, you'll usually get all your perks before the extreme challenges kick in. Also, I put Speed Cola first because Sleight of Hand is the first perk you get in MW3 Chaos, which makes a lot of sense. If you're trying to kill enemies quickly to keep up your combo, then doing this without Speed Cola is just painful. Also, remember that there's no need for Mule Kick: you can only have one weapon and your M1911.
  8. Elite won't be released, at least not for anything besides pre-order. Just the information.
  9. There will be PLENTY of things to post once the game comes out. We'll have to share information about easter eggs, story findings, hidden secrets, new strategies, tips and tricks, or even just your first personal experiences with the new maps. Trust me, when November 13 comes around, this place is gonna blow up ;)
  10. Dear lord, we REALLY need someone from Treyarch to settle this. Look at those poll numbers, we've got the community split almost exactly in half here. Also, we've now got THREE people who voted other, come on guys, tell us what you're thinking when you do that... I'm still undecided! I mean, of course Richtofen is the most logical choice, but to be honest, since when has logic played a role in zombies?
  11. Yeah, me too. But it's probably like you said, it's some character we haven't even been introduced to yet. We'll figure it out sooner or later Hey, when we're dealing with theories like this, nothing sounds too stupid. Plus, the seventh son of a seventh son thing kinda makes sense. The V-R11 does have "formidable magical and healing powers", seeing as it can turn zombies back into humans. Although I'm not sure if it's the correct connection. I have no idea what is. I feel like no matter what we look at for the meaning of 87, we'll be able to find some connection to zombies
  12. Well hey, look at that, scoop's onto something! He's right about that 87. It is on the Wave Gun, both in-game and in the Zombie Labs, if you look closely enough. Now, 87 can also be seen on the V-R11. I knew about the V-R11, but never noticed it on either versions of the Wave Gun until scoop pointed it out. So, sorry if I'm reporting old new here This does strengthen the theory that CoDZL is an actual American group developing wonder weapons after discovering Group 935's research and Griffin Station. And it gives us an actual origin for the V-R11. Now, why is the number 87 significant? My first guess led me here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francium I'll try to expand upon this research later, this was really just all from quick thinking. Until then, what do you guys think?
  13. This is true, and honestly it's probably the only reason that Treyarch wouldn't do it. Of course, not that there's not profanity in zombies already (Dempsey and Nikolai, I'm looking at you...) but I think all the immature 10 year olds would take it a bit far. If everyone who plays zombies were as mature as the people on this website though, then they could most certainly do it. I wish that were the case
  14. Yeah, I'm curious too. I put the "other" option just in case someone else had another idea of who it could be, but I was kinda expecting someone to post if they had another idea so they could tell us what it was... OH GREAT MYSTERY MEMBER, WHERE ARE YOU? :o
  15. People have come up with a lot of these, and it is something that can be implemented fairly, if done right. Maybe not red Max Ammos, unless it just steals maybe one clip from each gun. Also, regular perk bottles themselves are rare, I don't think there would be a red version of those. My last complaint is the Fire Sale, maybe instead it should make everything cost double for the other team rather than just not allowing them to buy things. Other than that, these are probably the best variants of power-downs that I've seen
  16. Even if it is a man we haven't been introduced to yet, I feel like this thread has been pretty productive :)
  17. Exactly, Tankeo. There's no way anyone can say that Richtofen's bone structure is anything close to that of the guy on the poster.
  18. HammerFace, can we get some pictures of what Richtofen looked like in Ascension? That might provide us with a better comparison to the poster than a picture of him in Kino and the SNN loading screen.
  19. I dunno about this. My idea is something like yours as far as gameplay goes, with a 15 to 20-minute game and an endless wave, etc. But I thought that players would spawn in with a pistol, all doors opened, and about 3000 points. That way, they'll have points to buy a starting weapon, and then earn more points towards perks, box, PaP, etc. It seems to have more of that zombies feel. This isn't a bad idea though. I really could see Treyarch going either way with this.
  20. So, it's unusable in Kino and Ascension because...?
  21. He probably means the travel from Der Reise to Kino Der Toten. It's never proven that Dempsey was holding the Wunderwaffe, though. Actually, my understanding was that the Wunderwaffe was destroyed when it overloaded the teleporter.
  22. Welcome I'm guessing the reason you didn't enjoy Shangri-La and Moon from just playing them a couple times is because they were a bit harder than CotD and other Black Ops maps. I suggest picking them up once you feel comfortable with a challenge beyond CotD. You can definitely get some tips to improve your game here ;)
  23. Not really. We're still trying to answer the question of who the CoDZL guy is, the other thread is for people who still think that the guy on the poster is Richtofen. The way I see it, THAT argument was what was getting us off topic.
  24. We should get back on topic now. The debaters now have a place to go, so we can speculate to our heart's content So, while I do believe that Porter plays a more prominent role than what little we've seen of him, I'm still unconvinced that he's the man in the CoDZL trailer. I still think it's Yena. Even if Shooter's right, and he never did go to Griffin Station or even Der Reise, he could've escaped after being compromised, and if he did it only makes sense that he would help on development (or even just testing) on these new wonder weapons (in particular, the Wave Gun).
