Even if not for the scare factory, this was good when you had a crawler and wanted to go get stuff done on the map. You can't do that anymore, the zombie will just respawn fully grown right next to you and ruin your day

If you're doing high rounds it's Ascension, the scavenger on COTD stops killing in one hit at 37. I think COTD is more of a challenging map, but it's really one of my favorites because there's a TON of stuff in it. If you wanna do the Easter egg then I'd go with COTD, I've done the Easter egg twice on solo and its not too easy, not too hard. In short, it's preference. I'd spring and get both, wait till you have enough, or buy one then buy the other when you can.

I like when maps have a mix of both. I think that Ascension was a really good example of how a map can be done well. There are story elements, there is an easter egg with an in game achievement that wasn't really too over powered (imagine being give a 90 second death machine now... literally do round 50 in like 30 seconds) but is also had some survival aspects, as well as a ton of different areas you could train or camp if you wanted to. If the easter egg had an actually achievement associated with it that would be even better. I think Der eisendrache is going in the right direction. That being said, I would love to have the thundergun back We haven't had a good "blast zombies out of the way I don't give a damn" weapon in far too long

This was discussed in a thread like a month ago, nothing came of it... Maybe they'll try and implement an attachment system for it later. Personally I never hold on to the pistol long enough for it to be relevant (no more PhD :(), and normally getting kills with it (rather than knifing) just happens by accident... Attachments might make it better though

My Top 10 Favorite Zombies Maps
shirtlesservice replied to DrowsyDeer43391's topic in General Zombies Discussion
For me because its incomplete and has some pretty clear design flaws. I can deal with the lava and the slow bus, and even the denizens. I can't deal with the fog that was used to cover the incomplete nature of the map. I also am not a fan of having to carry build-able parts individually, the ridiculously long set up time, and (what feel like) very slow zombie spawns. My ten (so far) are as follows: 1. Ascension 2. Kino 3. Der Riese 4. COTD 5. Moon 6. Shino 7. MOTD 8. Der Eisendrache 9. Origins 10. SoE -

Thank you to all of you, these responses are awesome :D -
Also if you've done this and he just disappears or doesn't move, go back down to the pyramid room, finish the round, and he should respawn and go to the next location. watch MrROFLWaffles video on constructing the bows, they very thorough

Well there's 2 different ways you could get a ton of zombies to spawn, the first was just being in the teleport section of the launch pad when the rocket goes off (this got patched almost immidiately) and the second is to activate the ragnarok piece switch, then run to the wundersphere and jump away before the doors close. This would force the zombies that would normally spawn in the teleport section to spawn on the map normally, giving you like twenty extra zombies. I'm almost positive this is it for manipulating the spawns this way, but I could be wrong

Simple and Straight Forward Strat For High Round Game
shirtlesservice replied to Hells Warrrior's topic in Der Eisendrache
The quick revive strategy has the potential to get you to fifty every game, especially if you have perkaholic and you do a good set up. If you have 2 PaP'ed guns, one shotgun with fireworks the other a wall weapon with blast furnace, it's one of the easier camping spots in my opinion. -

The Official Der Eisendrache Feedback Thread
shirtlesservice replied to Tac's topic in Der Eisendrache
@Nieno69 well yeah, it's a camping weapon, many strategies on the map involve camping... I wouldn't say it's over powered, in the same way I wouldn't say the time slow gun from buried was overpowered. It had a particular style of play that it synergized well with, that doesn't make it OP -
The Official Der Eisendrache Feedback Thread
shirtlesservice replied to Tac's topic in Der Eisendrache
Round 30 really isn't all that high on this map... you could do it in less than an hour almost every time. The electric bow becomes much less effective in like the later 30's-early 40's, then the map starts to get more difficult.
