Panic knifing is a myth. It's called having better reflexes than the other guy. Knives should be kept at 1 hit kill. It's like a reward for getting close enough to do it. (which is often pretty hard) About carrying the knife, That's a ballistic/ tactical knife, so they already implemented these ideas. As for the launchers, in both Black Ops and MW3 I hardly see anyone see anyone shoot anything down immediately. Only I do that. I get in the right spot with Stingy and shoot down attack helicopters before they even get to the map!

You open the MPD before you put in the Golden Rod/Focusibg stone and get 100 souls though. And I would assume you would need to be close to the MPD for it to work, as it definitely has a kind of power of it's own.

The power of the MPD and the Golden Rod Combined with the focusing stone along with 100 souls is what allowed them to switch souls. They can't just do it whenever they want.
