"The Collector" Achievement
Tankeo Dempsaki replied to Rissole25's topic in General Zombies Discussion
One trip to No Man's Land and you've got all the money you need. -
I really like the idea of the boss medals, personally.

Why is there no more Grammar Nazi medals? I wanted one!

Should the zombies AI be modified?
Tankeo Dempsaki replied to Edward Richtofen's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Someone around here said that on his half-price WAW Der Riese when he tried to train the zombies they spread out and tried to come up behind him, surrounding him in the front as well. Could anyone else who got WAW Der Riese confirm this? -
Some other people should check this out. Possible AI shift in BLOPSII?

It is one of the many effects of the QED, it can also un-PAP your PAP'd gun. We have a thread around here that lists all effects of the QED by Tom, I'll look for it. While I do that, make an introduction so we can greet you properly.

Sounds like if you got a mech as a Killstreak.

Back on topic, Shangri-La is definitely one of the best maps Treyarch has ever designed in terms of detail and art design. It's absolutely beautiful, along with "escape" gameplay. However, the map is just TOO DAMN SMALL. That map should have been as big as COTD if it was going to be that friggin beautiful! But, I've heard the development of Shangri-La was rushed. (or was it Moon?) That might have led to the small design. But I want it too be bigger, I want to always play that map, I want to see more of Shangri-La. Anyway, I believe Shangri-La was created as a complete opposite to Call of the Dead, which I'm pretty sure was received negatively by the majority. Call of the dead's landscape was BORING. Then we get the prettiest map in the game. Call of the Dead was the biggest map in zombies history, Shangri la was smaller than Verruckt. But, I feel Treyarch should make more maps like it, simply bigger. Shangri-La was also received negatively by the majority of fans, (mostly for the small size and difficulty). I've come to a hypothesis about that though. Treyarch thinks we like sterile, indoor-facillity type maps. Look at the most popular maps: Der Riese Ascension Moon These maps are all mostly indoors, and inside a clean facillity or building or lab. Look at the least popular maps. Call of the Dead Shangri-La "FIVE" Dead Ops Arcade Two of those, S. and C. are outdoors for the most part, not inside any kind of building/facility/lab. Treyarch, we want maps in jungle areas and the like, but MAKE THEM BIGGER! That was the ONLY frigging problem with Shangri-La! A bigger Shangri-La would have been one of the most critically acclaimed maps of your career, and we all know that's true.

I'm pretty sure the moonwalking is a glitch. The reason the animation is coded in is because that's what he looks like when a Gersch device is pulling him towards it, but he's not supposed to continue the animation after the Gersch goes away and he's not supposed to be going towards you while doing the animation. As for the Astronaut dancing in the middle of the biodome, I suspect it's also a glitch. I've only ever seen the astronaut getting his funk on in front of PhD Flopper. Dancing isn't a glitch, If the person he was programmed to target first when he spawns is in the air from a launcher, his targeting gets screwed up and instead of simply standing there since he has no target, Treyarch made him dance. Notice how the animation is smooth and polished, as well.

Using Character Colors to Your Advantage
Tankeo Dempsaki replied to Ehjookayted's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Found this out a while ago, but nice to see it on the forum. I believe that's why they randomized the colors on Moon. -
Fattening up Zombies
Tankeo Dempsaki replied to lackingvoltage's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I'm sick of people saying "Oh, thry're changing it too much, It's not zombies anyomre, woe is me!" The entirety of zombies is an experiment. Developers themselves have stated that in every map they experiment with new things and new features. If people don't like them, they change them. I'm just tired of people whining and crying about a game they haven't even played yet. Wait until it comes out and PLAY THE DAMN THING. If you don't like what they're doing, then you can say you don't like it. This isn't directed solely at you, QuickRevive, it's directed at everyone who's doing this. -
Someone probably broke the windows. As long as they're closed and the power's on, the first room has air. As for mystery box spawns, yeah, that's all of them.

Should the zombies AI be modified?
Tankeo Dempsaki replied to Edward Richtofen's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Those are not governed by the zombies' AI, those are simply new features/commands. AI would change when zombies do things or how they move and whatnot, it doesn't control things like that. However, I've noticed that on Shang and Ascension thhat they are smarter in how fast they attack you. -
Bro, I'll be honest, no guide can help you like actual practice. Reading about zombies won't make you better at it, you gotta DO it. Find out what workis yourself. Guides are for improving a stable game. You gotta make the stable game yourself. Don't worry though, I'm terrible too, because of this FUC*IN' LAG!!!!!!! .... ........ ....................... I'm.... I'm sorry. I must atone. Please, aaccept this gift... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PJddmfe ... ure=relmfu

PSN YOU'VE STOLEN ANOTHER ONE FROM ME!!!! Anyway, welcome to CoDZ, young Paddle-wan-or-however-it's-spelled. Nice to see some more people here for the story.

Exactly. I'm always the Hacker, and always take a buddy with me to the Receiving Bay so he can cover me while I'm hacking, and help me fight my way back to the Biodome. The only things that you really need to make sure of is that you listen at the beginning of the round. If there's no warning after around 20 seconds, it won't come at all that round. In addition, make sure your Hacker has Stamin-Up, so he can get there and back quicker. What you really have to remember is, don't kill your game just to hack an excavator. A breach isn't all that bad. You can actually sprint through just about any room (aside from the biodome) without any air. If you're in a really tight spot and both tunnels have been breached, you don't even have to worry about that, as you can simply teleport, and hack them while you're in the receiving bay. One last thing is, keep the windows repaired. At the end of the round, board up all the windows in case of an excavator coming. This will stop the zombies from getting in your way as you're sprinting to and from the Receiving bay. That's all I got.
