While playing a game on Kino with Salad_Fingers, I thought of a nice strategy (or challenge if I find its really hard) that uses the generator room. You need 4 people playing, make sure the host is the white player. Start the game out how you normally would by going the mp40 route. At round 18+ when the spawns start to speed up, open to the generator room via the M16 door. (This is the room between the alley and the stage) Blue, yellow and green players will camp in this room while the host does the stage train. As long as the host is on the stage the zombies wont go up the stairs towards the other players, this means they can each take a window and camp. The person who takes the downstairs door has a minuscule space to train if need be, while the upstairs people have a trap to use when overrun. Anyways, good luck attempting this! :D

I just did this on der riese, I definately recommend buying the spawn guns last. The idea is to get to the stg as soon as possible, with this strategy you can just by guns in between rounds instead of barely scraping together enough points to open doors. Also go via the trench gun out of the spawn so you don't open the top door of the thompson room, it makes it a lot easier to train there and point whore.

FAST High Round Ascension Trap Strategy
Khaos_raider replied to perfectlemonade's topic in Ascension
Thats the smartest strategy since trains began, brains to you good sir. Thanks man! I think something similar could also work for Kino or Der Riese with the teleporters. Hmmm, Maybe turn on the trap between spawn and the stage, run to the teleporter, teleport to spawn to wipe out the following zombies, then go via the dressing room and turn on that trap.....? -
FAST High Round Ascension Trap Strategy

Man, I definately know how you feel. I think all of us here on CoDz can agree that the most annoying random would be the little kids that spend all of their points on the box (and never jug), and when they finally get a ray gun, they spam it until they down themselves three times every round. (BTW, try to teach your kids to get jug first if/when they play zombies ) But as far as Der Riese goes, it does get quite annoying when three people are yelling at you, saying that you have to camp on the catwalk. TL;DR: I feel your pain man :)

My survival of the fittest guide(s)
Khaos_raider replied to Khaos_raider's topic in General Zombies Discussion
uh, I suck without jugg, so thats a no-no for me But yeah, I'll post what I can, but as I said, I don't really know enough people to do this challenge regualy so its kinda hard to make guides for maps I havn't played on. I kinda want something akin to the MZG, where people from the forum post their own little sub-guides, heck, maybe even add SotF in the MZGv2. Thanks for the feedback though :P -
So, this post is probably going to be a collection of SotF guides for every map, kinda like the master zombies guide. But one thing, I need people to PM me their guides for maps I havn't and/or can't cover (Shang Gri-La, it never looked that fun to me, so I didn't buy it). I cannot do this challenge 24/7 to consistently update this guide, so thats why I have decided to make it a more community based thing. The General Stuff for Every Map The Perk Setup: Note: On The W@W maps, Kino and Five, just buy the original 4 perks, there is no need for mule kick. JUGGERNOG: Obvious perk is obvious, do I really need to explain? QUICK REVIVE: Definately a must, unless you are going to rage quit after a single down, you need to have the very best chance possible at reviving team mates, you also don't want to go down trying to revive them. STAMIN-UP: This is only here for the same reason as QR,and for the fact that doging zombies in a tight train becomes less risky. PHD FLOPPER: Get this for the sole fact that it prevents 75% of bullshit deaths, when aming for the least downs, the last thing you want is to accidentally chuck a nade, get hurt, then have a zombie 1 hit you to death Ascension So, before reading this post, please take one thing into consideration: This was supposed to be a message to TeamGrimReapers after I saw their attempt video, but alas, the completely annoying yet useful feature that is contact block stopped me from telling them anything. Another thing to note is that I expect everybody reading this to know what to do in rounds 1-10, if you don't, go watch some of the many video tutorials and Tom's amazing training guides Hi, I just say your survival of the fittest vid and I would like to let you you know how I completed this with 96 points (well, it was a round 29 disconnect but I'm sure we could have finished it), so maybe you guys can get on the top of that leaderboard with no downs Bascically the places to train would be one at spawn, one at PHD, one at PaP and one at Stamin-up. Do the basic trains here as usual but there is one thing YOU MUST REMEMBER TO DO; Leave the door next to QR closed. The reason for this is so that when somebody goes down, everybody will stop killing the zombies and group up so they stop spawning, then one person will make a mad dash for a revive. When you are revived, you should run for jug (remember, nobody is going to kill a single zombie until all of these steps are finished), once you have jug, everybody can kill their zombies and you will run a train in the MPL room. The reason you should run a train there is because once all of the zombies are killed off they will come at you in a single wave which is really easy to control next to MPL. I tend to find that if a massive wave of zombies comes at you in any of the beforehand mentioned places it is much harder to get them grouped up without taking a couple of hits. Of course, if you want to grab other perks just get them right after jug or on the way to it, just as long as nobody kills their zombies in the process. The reason for this strategy of coming back after going down is that it is what I think is the safest way of doing so. It would be really annoying to get downed while trying to get jug, then to down after just after getting it, it could cost you a valuable position on the leaderboards. Anyways, I hope this helps you guys get the top of the SotF leaderboard. Regards, Khaos_Raider

So, I guess I'll start out...... I'm an Aussie with a sh*t immune system so I'm constantly sick, which = more time to play zombies . But seriously, I'm kind of a forum stalker, I've known about this forum for ages and followed it everyday, I just never bothered to join and/or post. I play Black Ops zombies on PSN (I'm never gonna get over the fact that they changed it to SSN) and W@W on PC for the custom maps. I never play solo, not because its hard, but because it gets repetetive, theres not much action going on unless you down, which usually screws me over anyway. However I love co-op and am happy to be that one guy in the team that revives everyone if need be. I have a good understanding on trains and will prefer them over camping 99% of the time. I am however, trying to improve my skills and train in alternate spots. Anyways, I hope you liked my rambling, so, in the wise words of claptrap.... See ya next time! :P
