One of my favorite weapons is Galil. More of an all purpose weapon. Never any real weakness Often the case fit my strategies Make wall weapons look bad Not the most popular box weapon. Only wonder weapons are superior My favorite non wonder box weapon us Galil. Pretty easy and identifiable. Game on. Special thanks to shooter's formatting 101.

After many tries on NML today I finally achieved my new personal high of 103. Should have gotten much more had it been jug instead of speed reload. Yeah!!!!!

Nacht Der Untoten: Round 80 Solo *Black Ops World Record*
Mr. Jay replied to Superhands's topic in Classic Maps
Cheers my friends. Let's celebrate!! zq-l7FQz-6Q -
My stay here in Virginia Beach turned out to be pretty decent. Weather held up, cocktails early and often, fine dine every meal. Coming in the forecast was showing the usual vacation curse, but lady luck was smiling by my side this time. Until I got burnt. Some games you breeze through with much luck, ammo at the right moments, doubles point early on, insta kill later rounds. Some games the eight ball finds you, teleport right into a throng, up the steps to be sandwiched by zombies. A good PS3 friend of mine once told me to not rely on luck, play it safe instead to ensure another round. I look back at my downs and generally classify them as "avoidable" but allow them to happen through carelessness. Playing co-op I often go down trying to revive because I was impatient. I know a max spawn is essential but often misjudge the crowd. Upon arriving at the reviving scene I often meet the last spawns and end games. Note to self: be patient when reviving. I often go for refill on ammo before its safe to do so. Playing co-op with zombies running all over I often up the steps to ammo and met my fate. Playing co-op I often head somewhere only to get squeezed in tight spots. Note to self: unless its the end of a round do not go near tight corners. Some games I just don't have my A game. I can run the Thompson in verruckt with no downs to round 25 in one game, and have 5 downs before round 10 in another. Some people can flip the switch easily whenever necessary I seem to always flip the wrong one. Note to self: if you don't have it, take the easier training spot. I often shoot a bit longer than I should. Before going around a corner I shoot while backing and often miss my exit. Or in mid round kill too many at once and not allow myself enough space to handle new spawns. I also hit the box one time too many after the round starts. You are confident you can do it or somehow "feel" the next hit is ray gun. Note to self: stop being greedy. I always always always always down knifing in early rounds after getting hit. I have a bit of the western cowboy mindset that even after getting hit I can knife kill before I get hit again. 99.9% of the time I fail to kill before slapped again. Note to self: you are older and slower than you want to admit. I am by no means a good player or even a decent player. Especially not good enough to take risks. One day when lady luck of Nazi zombies smiles upon me I will take more risks. Until then, I shall stop playing like I have chopper's moves. What kind of risks do you take? Lady luck smiles on you?

[REDEFINED] World's Best Zombie Slayer?
Mr. Jay replied to Ehjookayted's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I think you are the best when it comes to execution and strategy. You have a knack for turning a tough task into piece of cake. And your WRs speak for themselves. Best player in the world. Period. -
[REDEFINED] World's Best Zombie Slayer?
Mr. Jay replied to Ehjookayted's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I watched a lot of chopper's videos on NML and his "elusiveness" is off the charts. I don't know who the top guy is but most of the guys I have seen including Superhand seem somewhat choreographed compared to chopper. Another way to describe what I see is that you may "foresee" some of moves by even the top dogs, chopper's moves strike me as "erratic, improvisational, and unpredictable." I'd vote him as the best mover I have seen. -
Hi, I'm Jay, one of the regulars on the forum. Also the smart ass that everyone hates. Getting ready to go on vacation.........scratch that. Getting ready to take the kids and wife to vacation, I want to discuss my recent games. BTW I played a bit of NML lately, you would be proud to know that I hit my high of 78 kills. I have been playing a lot of Der Riese lately, not because it is my new favorite, but because I feel I can do better than the 27 I have posted. I always run the Thompson room as it quickly becomes my favorite training location. It is easy; ammo is en route; trap is available to your advantage when necessary; and my favorite part is reviving support is easy because all you need to do is wait for the top room to clear and dash to revive. Playing with a duo and a third random the other night, I felt my blood pressure as high as ever. Despite number of attempts to the lesser of the duo to "Stop following me" he would A) Board windows, Run with me, C) Run around me. I gave up the Thompson room to other spots and he would follow. After going down a few times I finally went crazy and Mother fuckered him. Another game a random kept telling me what to do. Camp here Jay, open this Jay, hit the box for balistic knife Jay, run with us Jay, revive him I got your back Jay. Another game a random tells me "Alright I'll play with you but dont be stealing my kills." By round two he was throwing grenade at my window despite already running away with kills. My hair went from some gray to half gray this week. This game is about suvival, to live another round, to not risk anyone's well being. After each failure I look for things to improve and correct them. After each failure I limit my mistakes in the future and hope for new highs. After cooling my head for a week I will be back slaying the undead.....with new randoms and hope for the best.

This One's For You, MurderMachineX
Mr. Jay replied to perfectlemonade's topic in General Zombies Discussion
As lemonade said, there are times when both are right, there are time both are wrong. In this game I failed to find anyone wrong, just matter of preference. I agree with some of murdermachine's comments and preferences, and agree with some of lemonade's preferences. I can't say someone's idea is fallacious, I might say they do not fit my own strategies. -
The new map. The topic that dominated the forum in the last few weeks. Hi, I'm Jay, one of the regulars on the forum. I'm bored with the 8 player engine and dissecting the clues given from the posters and videos. But I would like to discuss my hopes for the new map. All maps are similar but they are really different. I love the difficulty of maps like Five and Verruckt. Both stress some team work and cooperation unless you are world's best. I can sense within ten rounds if the randoms I'm playing with are selfish or keepers. I prefer playing with unselfish guys who are willing to cooperate, over guys who think you are invisible, even if we only survive to round 15. Maps like Ascension, Kino, and Moon are great solo maps, but I hate them play with others. I understand the appeal with those big maps with awesome weapons. The people who play them usually run by themselves, rage quit when they lose their safety weapon. I have yet to come across any solid players I would like to friend on those maps. They might be out there, but they are harder to find than non nagging wives. I caught a glimpse of the wunder weapon ideas and honestly enjoy most of them, but hope none happens. Great weapons in co-op will unevenly give advantage to box huggers, eventually lead to rage quit. I hope a simple ray gun type for everyone is the ceiling, or lesser weapons like winters howl or wunderwaffle. Solo masters will hate me for my comments but I only play co-op. In conclusion, I'm hoping for a verruckt or five type map. I hate the idea of playing for three hours to a failure. I want maps to be hard that reaching round 25 is an achievement, not a failure. But I understand most people don't want what I want, and majority will always win. On a separate note. Jay's complaints part 2 Playing online when someone goes down, the safest thing is to cease fire. Reviving becomes a piece of cake when you reach max spawn. On maps like Ascension and Der Riese, hold for another minute until the revived teammate get jug. Many many games people keep shooting while someone goes for jug, goes down again because of the location of jug. Good players pay attention to detail, losers never learn from mistakes.

Round Two: The Redefined Master Zombies Guide?
Mr. Jay replied to Ehjookayted's topic in General Zombies Discussion
The original master guide was awesome. One of my very favorites. Would love to see part 2. If the master guide 2 is zombies in general then I am anxious to see what else could possibly be added to the original given it was so "complete." If the master guide is map based meaning more extensive with each "current" map then the timing might be off. By Oct people will be focused on the new map with a lot less interest in the "older maps". Best to release the guide ASAP. I like to see more of a collective effort from the top players on CODZ. It would be a great way to market CODZ to the world just how good and how deep this community is. Especially guys that do challenges like way and 5and5, pishifat. I've said it before and will say it again, this man is a beast and quite entertaining to listen to. More tips on co-op, specifically different spots to train. If some random takes the middle floor on five, what are your options besides window hopping in the basement? Or if running Thompson on verruckt and campers go down near the double tap how to effectively revive them. Very much interested in the master guide. Can't wait. -
I made a thread about player gaming profiles to help better understand where everyone stand. viewtopic.php?f=93&t=22186&p=215125#p215125 It could also be a tool for linking members to help bond. Hopefully more people respond to the profile so we could invite one another given playing on the same platform. There are many I have gotten to known from the forum I would love to get in a few games. There are many I have gotten to admire from their work I would love to troll in real games. One day if I get cancer and only have a few days to live, I would request a high round with eye, chopper, and way. Meanwhile let's all hook up for a few games come summer time. Long live CODZ!!!

Looking forward to you contributing on the regular basis. This site has many great members, I make it my personal goal to help bond and unite the community closer than it already has. Good to have you, except you are probably a ravens fan. In that case we shall not speak again. BTW heading to Maryland next week en route to Virginia beach, where would you recommend if it rains? How is port discovery? My kids are 4 and 11, and nephew 8 niece 10.

What's the Most EPIC thing you have Done?
Mr. Jay replied to 5and5's topic in General Zombies Discussion
That was pretty cool using the two ladders to train. I have played Der Riese a few times and always run the Thompson, never even seen that part of the map. Major complaint on the Vanilla Ice though, biggest embarrassment in American music history. Along with MC Hammer. -
No Man's Land: Chilled or Hyped-up?
Mr. Jay replied to Superhands's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I struggle no matter before dinner or after dinner, before bed or in the morning. I do however, get dizzy if I don't have a good sleep. On a side note, don't worry about me teasing officer hightower. It's more of an on going joke/tease/jab from one buddy to another. There are two types of criticism, from people who know you well and able to distinguish facts from fictions; and from people who do not know you and make false assessments. People who do not know you A) should not make judgement but do so anyhow, therefore should not be taken seriously. And you should not care. -
Very nice. I know I have boring compliments. Cheers!!! Maybe do Five before COTD? My favorite map and would love to view that transcript first. Or I can wait, like a day or two is fine.

Attention to detail. It is what separates the greats from the goods. A bit off topic. With another round 100 map, what are you to do next? Are you getting bored with the game at this point? Looking to improve your co-op records without Tom? If you have PS3 we can play cat and mouse. I run and die and you come revive.

Good Monday ladies and gents. Memorial Monday here in beautiful PA. Was out driving today in Sunny 70s before heading to the Mall. No I am not a dedicated shopper, my wife owns a business in the local mall, where I spend a lot of time when off from my regular paying job. Was playing Der Riese last night with some randoms. Have not played this map for while and hit my new high of 23. I was basically running near the Thompson and surpised how easy it was. I had mustang and sally for the dogs and PAPed thompson and never hit the box. Went down twice because randoms were passing by and disrupted my rhythm, and never recovered on 23. What I wanted to do today is survey the different training spots and see how others feel about them. I will give my difficulty rating for comparision purposes. Have at it. Nacht- Basically running around the pillars in the spawn room alone with randoms in the help room-9.0. Pretty intense without jug. Verrukt- In the Thompson room by the mystery box, running around the first pillar-6.0. Pray for no randoms running by and mess up your routine. Verrukt- STG with power door closed a la 5and5 style-7.5. It looks easy when he does it but I do not have his moves or instincts. Der Riese- Thompson room-4.0. It get somewhat interesting once dogs spawn but with mustang and sally no problem. Watch out for the crawlers. when it gets intense turn the electric fense on. Der Riese- Power Room-5.0. Just dont have a good feel for it or enough experience. Opt for Thompson everytime. Kino- Stage-3.5. Have not played enough but considered one of the easiest places to run, even with randoms running by. Kino-Alley-9.0. 5and5 makes it look easy but I could not do one round without going down. Five- Middle floor-1.5. Can do it with my eyes closed. Two people running it turns it into a 7.0. Five- Speed reload-8.0. So hard because you dont know when to shoot. As soon as you shoot you lose track of window spawns. Ascension- MPL-6.5. Not my favorite because if anyone goes down you are not able to revive anyone. Ascension-Below the rocket launch-5.0. My new favorite in Ascension. Ascension-By the stamina-7.0. Jumping around the puddles are not fun. Ascension-In the Claymore room-6.0. Not tense at all. NML-By the PAP machine a la chopper and Superhand-.9.5. Has yet to completely get a max spawn before dying or running off. Alright CODZ members, tell me your ratings so I have a clue where I am. P.S. Will be home this afternoon anyone looking to do challenges or goof off contact me.

What's the Most EPIC thing you have Done?
Mr. Jay replied to 5and5's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Any game over round 10 is epic for me..... Anytime I learn something new or something different I would consider epic. My happiest game was when I finally able to reach round 10 with my son. First mustang and sally, first round 30 solo, and first round 20 co-op, out play Superhand....ok the last one never happened. -
When I see zombies approaching I run the other way and scream like my four year old Alayna.

Hi, I'm Jay and I am implementing a thread on member profiles. This is to help better understand where everyone stand in their gaming. Anyone looking for partners can post and view profile here. Hopefully this will help in the teammate finding section. The more people post their profiles the easier to find teammates. This is profile only, any other contact please utilize PM to help this nice and organized. Thanks. PSN - Jay-F2008 Playing Time 11:30 PM -1:30 AM EST (GMT -5) Mike -yes Nacht 18 SNN N/A Verruckt 25 Der Riese 29 Kino 22 Five 37 Ascension 27 Shang N/A COTD N/A Moon 25 NML 103 Something about yourself- Its comical that some of my top co-op records are also my worst games. 37 on five I had 20 downs, 36 on five had 18 downs, 27 on Der Riese had 1000+ kills but 15 downs. Okay ladies and gentlemen, show us your profile so we know what to expect when we play with you.

Yes!!! The nerdy kid got picked in gym class!!!!! Proud to serve you guys. What day and time?

I disagree with IFQ's assessment. I used to feel I was pretty decent, until I found CODZ. The perception is different now that I realize how much better I could be, how much improvement is available. You are not worse, you are just not as good as you thought. When I first started playing I was shooting for higher rounds. After a while they become repetitive and boring. Now I go into every game playing for fun, and not set myself up to be disappointed. I used to be ashamed of downing 35 times in game, now I laugh about it. One of my dear PS3 friends kidnova once had 60 downs roofing around, even though he is an absolute beast when he is on. I think if you adjust your attitude to simply have fun you will find games more enjoyable.

This was written to promote awareness in leadership. Many games people just "go with the flow" because they want to play nice, even with friends. Playing with way he does a good job of keeping that balance. Even playing with MY friends who I have chemistry with, I ask way for strategy and therefore suggest rest of the team to follow his command. Four people playing separately will not achieve a four player team can achieve. Much like super did, way will nicely suggest what do to to ensure the team plays together. There are times when its best to spread out. Holding and camping by the double tap trap in verruckt with Thompson I felt a bit overwhelmed and uncomfortable. I asked permission to run by the Thompson which I have done many times and more familiar, and ease the load for the rest of the team. Although I went down right away and cause them to to down trying to revive me. Leadership can also be getting your team to do what they are more comfortable of doing. I think the leader does not have to be one with the absolute best record. I have played with randoms with lesser pedigree but clearly outperformed others. Sometimes it take just one idea for the team to have a better understanding of the strategy. It could be as easy as "camp in PAP, I run the war room, if I go down Orange lure them up the steps, blue come revive me."

After watching chopper's last man standing I thought it seemed fun. Regular zombies are starting to get boring. Memorial day is around the corner, anyone interested in going for 4 player challenges on monday? Or organized games? P.S. I have been saying my GMT is +4, it is actually -4, with daylight savings. +4 would be somewhere in Russia. I live in Pennsylvania, USA.
