The Trinity - Super, Chopper & Tom's guide to Shang 100 p1
Mr. Jay replied to Chopper's topic in Shangri-La
A guide as extensive and well written as this deserves much better compliment than "good job", or "I liked it", so it took me a while to come up with this. Good job, I liked it. -
I haven't even digested the Kino strategy yet. Slow down on the achievements. You are gonna run out of goals to reach. Just kidding, because I ran out of fun ways to compliment.

Telepad Strategy 330 Kills {World Record}
Mr. Jay replied to Superhands's topic in No Mans Land (NML)
You are beyond legendary I propose a gameplay and strategy committee where Superhand can be the chairman. Perhaps Tom, 5and5 and one other member from the triple crown club and round up the committee. Maybe they would be called the "fantastic four?" Nothing different than what they have done but they should be recognized for their contributions with their play for the community. -
I did not like moon at all but NML was refreshing. I believe the general consensus considers Moon a success. Targeting the age group mostly teenagers I think similar model will be used for future maps. Big, easy looping areas, new technology with something for the hardcore zombies slayers.

I never turn on mike unless I play with friends and shooting for high rounds. Your rules shall be the standard but you might be at the minority. I always thought if credentials are similar then equal contributions should be expected. I always initiate gamesmanship but often get screwed. I play for fun, but sometimes hampered or annoyed by poor gamesmanship from others. I hope on this site we can promote good etiquette and establish solid grounds for future games. How random games should be.

How are doors and debris divided? In random games the way I play in the first rounds almost always have a lot more points than the average Joe. There are times I accumulate and store 20000 in the early teens. Therefore expected to open ALL doors. Some people have the system of taking turns spending fair share of points, but most don't. I often get labeled as the ass hole for refusing to spend more points while others waste their points hitting the box on round 6. What is the etiquette when it comes to points soending for the team? I am not one to be selfish but I don't feel fairly treated at times.

The Most Difficult Spots to Train
Mr. Jay replied to Ehjookayted's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Maybe a bit off topic. Just played ascension with random. Was running MPL with spawn door closed. (Most common on ascension). At some point someone opened the spawn door so ran there instead. Find it more interesting than the MPL. There seemed to be more zombie spawns and if things get hot ran into MPL room by the steps shoot and circle back into spawn. Did not see any coming down the steps when in MPL and it felt easier and more rewarding than running MPL with door closed. -
Awesome as always with strategies and tactics. You would make an awesome coach or general. Although knowing you might not be great at inspirational speeches. P.S. I was actually able to give you brains....wow!!!

Excellent idea. But allow modifications on the game console might be tough. Different difficulty modes is a good idea too, although leaderboards will be hard to keep track. People on round 50 easy will claim its harder than round 20 hard. I can't see them do that just to please fans. It's actually a lot of work to create three separate modes.
-
My strategy in the first 15 rounds is always to generate points. I almost always in the first ten MPL plus knife. I really don't care where box is. Even in co-op I am always the last person using it. But you are right, I remember restarting in Kino to get box.

Interesting but no.

I not sure so much as listen. They will do what maximizes the dollar, or euro. Maybe they fetch ideas from here time to time if the ideas fit their parameters. Going into any lobby for games you will find Kino and ascension are by far the most played maps. Because they are easy and more appealing to the general public. Almost no one play nacht or shang because the perceived difficulty. New inventions and big easy maps are the likely the model weather we like it or not. What they did extremely well on the last map was to make the overall map easy, big, exciting but also NML for the zombie masters. Everyone's happy. Future maps will not get harder, it will stay simple but complex. With side challenges for the hardcore fans.
-
The question is for fun or for the simple fact of 100? Simply going for 100 will get boring quickly, so pick your favorite map. Otherwise kino.
-
I actually like the current format a lot. That one day when the theme changed I almost had a heart attack.
-
I'm sorry I meant COD in general. Assuming zombies are still sort of "opening act" for the main series.
-
Is this a CODZ app directly benefiting this site or third party?
-
Here is a thought. The general age for this game is around 15. To maximize profit Treyarch will develop future games to mainly please that age group with something for everyone else. With that in mind I cannot foresee future games get harder, but more complex with new technology to appeal young teenagers. In fact I can easily see more Kino and Ascension types of maps in the future.

Go gators! Always loved Erin Andrews. Good to see Florida representing.

MixMasterNut re-introduction + thread link list
Mr. Jay replied to MixMasterNut's topic in Introductions
Excellent for your 1000th. Much of your story somewhat overlap mine as our childhood are much similar. Always enjoyed your work. Good job. -
Excellent idea!! The first ten rounds are too easy, too slow. Maybe some balance in the future. After round 30 unless you have thunder gun it becomes really hard in a sense weapons are not effective and you are forced to incorporate traps into your strategy. More powerful weapons would be nice. Or make PAP far more expensive and far more powerful. I would say if you can make it to 30 on a particular map, chances are you can make it a lot further. If you are disciplined and patient enough. I would like to see some balance in that as well in future maps.

No Man's Land Frustration and Support Group
Mr. Jay replied to perfectlemonade's topic in No Mans Land (NML)
Just like Superhand says "Practice Practice Practice". Many of you have good foundation and solid skills from the normal maps, just need familarity with NML. My skills are far less refined yet I see consistent improvement. Want to feel better about yourself? I have been playing for a month now and my high is.......75. -
Here's the Situation (New Situation)
Mr. Jay replied to Ehjookayted's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Love these types of scenarios and situations. Cant wait for the "expert" opinions. Never played the map thus not qualified to comment. But want to show support for these types of posts. AWESOME!!!!!!! P.S. I hate playing with people who constantly talk trash and act superior. This game is about team work and cooperations with one another. Personal accolades to me are overated, the process of achieving is more awarding than the plaque. -
