Welcome. Have fun. Lady Gaga or Katy Perry?

Five is my first experience with zombies and my favorite. One thing I like to do in higher rounds is starting the round in the PAP. Let all the zombies come in and Chase me around the table starting the PAP machine. Head out the room and the door will close. Hit the switch by mule kick then lure all zombies up the steps and hit the switches en route. Lead them down the steps by mule kick and around the stairs to the last switch. As they come around the stairs blast them with mustang and sally. Any crawlers left clean up with ray gun. Quickly hit the last switch and hop back in the PAP and repeat. Few keys to make this work, no crawlers before going back in, would circle a few times to clean up crawlers before back in PAP. Above 30 mustang and sally ammo will become scarce, a third weapon (China lake, 72 law) are ok replacements. MP5K at time would be necessary due to ammo outage. This works for two players better than solo, as more ammo help clean up faster in the later rounds. Advanced players will laugh at this strategy because it requires minimal skills and LOTS of patience. Having been in the PAP a lot waiting for full spawn. But if a noob like myself could reach 41, anyone can.

What I meant by fan of sarcasm was that you are one of few who finds sarcasm funny. No I loop on the side by the loop adjacent to PAP.

I sincerely hope more members read this and make their contributions to help this wonderful community stay afloat. Long Live CODZ!!!!!!!

That made me laugh. Fan of sarcasm? I thought you had extinct! Anyway I feel more comfortable with more space to maneuver. Bigger is better. Size matters.

Thank dougie. Yes I have seen all tom's videos. I wear my "I heart tom" when I watch his videos. I would shoot into the dog and get splash damage and get hit by near by zombies. I am still learning how to control my trigger and distant from the pack. I once got jug and as I was drinking got hit twice. Learning from you guys will only help. I smell 80 kills!

With the help and encouragement of many users on this forum I have reached a whopping 75 kills on NML. More importantly I have been able to do many fancy moves (planned cutbacks, shaken bacon...etc) featured in some of expert NML videos. I still kill myself with the mustang and sally but I can smell 100 kills. Long live CODZ!!!!!

Ive only been playing for a few months and knifing has not been a part of my repertoire. I find knifing to be a big part of NML and I at times get screwed from stabbing.
-
I have yet to see Tom make a quick tip on this. How to control the stabs from happening? I've seen many experts (Superhand, chopper) to have clean slashes instead of stabs. Tom if you read this I am have a suggestion for your next quick tip. Thanks.

To generate dollars CODZ will need to transform into a business, and will have to face many obstables. The most logical and profitable way is through advertising. For that to happen CODZ need to generate at minimum thousands of visitors daily to be advertising worthy. Nazi zombies enthusiasts alone will not suffice. CODZ will need to expand to other games to lure more users, and eliminate any competition. CODZ will need to be ONE of the top sites for ALL games, not just zombies. Treyarch has absolutely no reason to sponsor CODZ, well aware the fact that CODZ members will support nazi zombies, not vice versa. Amazon, Ebay, GameStop and other gaming accessory site might show interest, given that CODZ could generate tens of thousands of users daily. There are also finances necessary for start up costs, staff will quadruple to handle the load, and other business fees. Investors will be needed, but hard to attract. In order to help CODZ all members will have to help. First step is the recuit more members, snow ball into a stronger community. CODZ cannot continue to survive solely on donations, it needs to take the necessary steps to evolve into bigger better impact in the gaming world.

There are plenty of videos out there dude, and guides on this site. Then there is the fact that not everyone has the ability or confidence to do some of the co-op strats, regardless of how easy we may find them. I rest my case. Thanks Tom.

Good Jon with the editing and commentary. Viewers can visibly see the effort put forth for your videos in addition to the 40+ minutes each. I have no problem with the length but 15s are easier to go back to certain sections. I thought the language was somewhat toned down. I enjoyed the "shit" and "crap" from the looping guides, even for my teenage son. Some captions were tough to see though.

NML high-kill analysis - find out where you're going wrong
Mr. Jay replied to Superhands's topic in No Mans Land (NML)
To be able to move around effectively on NML I changed the sensitivity setting up to 4 from 2. After a few games I find myself incredibly dizzy from doing cutbacks and shakes. Is this something that takes getting used to or is everyone different in what they are able to cope with? -
After hitting new high of 77 on NML I am shooting for 100. Lame, but winners never quit, quitters never win.

My 4 Most Hated Type of Zombie players
Mr. Jay replied to jokrAzrael's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Random are tough, as many of us have expressed. But sometimes someone must take the first step. I always try to carry myself in a presentable form, this from many years of team sports. CODZ are no different, we are all judged by our actions, I think the mature gamers ought to carry themselves better, to set better examples, for the younger players. -
Dudes, we got fooled. Anyone check his sign up date? We all blindly post comments following one another. People should call us the doophis four.

Find. Next user I'll ask favorite Katy song.

Hi. And give us your favorite Gaga song.

My 4 Most Hated Type of Zombie players
Mr. Jay replied to jokrAzrael's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Just found this piece and enjoyed it. Well said. But I think most players fall under the four in the beginning until YOU initiate some sort of team effort. I have played with some and either turned them or discovered they are not as selfish as first appeared. Not saying always, but has been in the past. -
Smiley I noticed you have 62 co-op on five but only 34 solo. Five is insanely hard for co-op. If you could reach 62 you certainly have the skill to go 62 solo. Care to share your strategy?

Cool. Welcome. Do you like lady gaga?

Map ruiners! (and what zombies fans really want)
Mr. Jay replied to lukefacekilla's topic in Single Player
Basically high rounds ate boring. Once you have your weapons PAPed them the game drastically gets less exciting. I used to keep track my high scores and kills in hopes of reaching personal highs, but they take HOURS of looping and repeating. With all the strategies and tips out there I am waiting for a "how to reach round 50 in one hour" video. -
Here is a question I have been asked many times, "What is your goal from playing zombies?" More specifically "what are you trying to achieve at this point?" After watch another episode of Bay Watch, I realized I have none. After months of battle with zombies, my skills (or lack of) have somewhat plateaued. I failed to have any kind of success on NML, I find solo games to be as boring as my wife, and the band of brothers I have are either moving on to other games or still camping in PAP room after 5 months. Co-op with new randoms are just miss or miss (read my other post for that), I find myself searching for a purpose. When I first started playing I was shooting for high rounds. But realized the game becomes incredibly repetitive and boring after round 25. After spending 9 hours to round 38 on Five, I shared my enthusiasm with my boss, only to be told "who cares?" In a sense he is right, thousand have reach round 40, and unless you are going for world records I find playing 18+ hours to be ludicrous. When I found Tom's videos my objectives changed. I realized there are still so many tips and tricks to be had. But the problem is that I have seen the looping guide hundreds of times, yet I still have trouble incorporating the different loops into my game play. After hundred of attempts on NML I find myself not getting any better, not even with Tom's help. (I wrote a separate post for that) Please do not mistake this as hating zombies. I still play and still enjoy it, but I no longer have a goal. I dont go for high rounds, I play with randoms just to hit round 20, and I gave up on NML. Just like real life we have goals we hope to reach, but what does a guy do if he already has a decent job, fun kids, and a boring wife? Unless I become a better moon walker than Michael Jackson I am completely without purpose.
