Two more things, when they were showing off the shields. Is it me, or does one of the characters look like Danny Trejo? Also right after that they briefly show a burst of purple lightning. -

The inclusion of Riot Shields tell me that there is some possibility for more advanced melee weapons in the future. Oh and.... :ugeek: Also, just because they showed new characters in what appears to be a campaign or new game mode of some sort, does not mean the original characters won't return for the classic game mode. -

It still looks like a robot to me. The eyes are a little bit different to the zombie eyes. Maybe it's meant to look like that to fool the players? Or the zombies? -

Thanks! And to the above post, exactly. I just want a cut-scene of the crew arriving, maybe cracking a few jokes, some zombie(s) jumps out and the mayhem begins.

You mean like who WaW started off. This I would like to see rather then the old players. Yeah, like the story of some soldiers that were thrown in the middle of the zombie apocalypse. They could even through in a cameo of the original characters, or at least refer to them in some way that only adds to the mystery.

What if the campaign follows completely different characters and the classic survival mode follows the original crew? Would that be acceptable?

They would have made a serious mistake for not doing the Easter eggs then, (bane voice) But not as serious as yours... I fear... (you haven't actually down anything wrong I just wanted to make the quote...) +1 for yet another Batman reference. And I didn't say take out the EE completely, I sincerely hope they leave those in there. I'm just saying there's nothing wrong with an introductory cut-scene is all. "When the Easter Eggs are finished... then you have my permission to die.."

What exactly is wrong with having a cut-scene or two for zombies before the match starts? The casual zombies player will not take the time to go through the EE's and all the other very subtle hints to the story line just to understand it. Plus zombies has gotten bigger now. It's amazing how Treyarch has been able to tell this wonderful story before, but it can't stay like that forever.

Your personal favorite map? I would actually have to say Ascension. It's where I learned the basics of how to play successfully in zombies and when I started religiously playing it. I know many look down upon it as being an "easy" map, and they may be right, but it's where I learned to have fun. Least favorite map? Shi No Numa I guess, I don't really play it all that much so... Best part of Black Ops? ZOMBIES!!! Best designed? It's a tie between FIVE and Shangri-La. Both really require actual skill to survive into higher rounds and make for some interesting gameplay. Most fun with drunk friends? Well I would assume Moon because with my friends, we would never make it past NML. Favorite challenge? NML, it is constantly the one I have the most trouble with, which gives me something to strive for. Funniest moment? Let's just say some of my friends can come up with the funniest crap you could ever imagine, highly inappropriate, but extremely funny. Most annoying boss preventing success? I guess the astro-turd. I knew how to avoid him but most people I play with seem to have trouble with him. I will admit I've had my fair share of wtf moments with him though. Creepiest place? Nearly shat my pants when I first saw Sam's room in Kino with the giant bloody teddy bear. Other than that, the toilets in Verruckt. -
Well I happen to be in your time zone, have a mic, a decent k/d ratio and an obsession with ranking up insanely high. I will have other obligations with some of my other friends when it comes out but I could definitely join you from time to time. I find that when I play in a team I tend to kind of go off and completely destroy the other team. Not meant to be bragging or anything but I do have my fair share of roid rages from time to time. ;)

Well that teaser looked like a cut-scene in the beginning part. I know some people for whatever reason believe cut-scenes ruin the core experience even though I thought they were fine with FIVE and Cotd. It's not like they need to tell the whole story, they could just be used for transitional purposes or at least to explain something that they wouldn't be able to through gameplay. They could even leave more questions than it answered for all I care, I would just like to see some cut-scenes to explain what the hell happened after Moon.

How do you know she can't control the zombies? We played her in one map, we don't know if she kept some of her powers. Who said that the MDT doesn't leave traces on her spirit? I mean, look at Richtofen. He went insane for touching the MDT ONCE. What could happen after staying in there for awhile? And we have no proof because IT'S A 40 SECOND TRAILER! See here? We can't find proof because there's so little to go off of, but IMO based off of the flesh wounds and glowing yellow eyes, it is obviously a zombie. Like I said, wait 3 days, and maybe some of our questions will be answered, because nothing will be resolved here. Yes, but something wanted him to touch the MPD and something had possessed him. As someone said - whatever you say, you won't change the fact it's not true. Sam is not in power, she's now just a human being, end of story. A human being that's a little girl trapped inside a man's body with an unnaturally amplified/demonic voice that was trapped inside the MDT for several decades with constant exposure to 115... Look at what a mix of 115 and Vril energy did to George. And what about the somewhat unpredictable nature of the effects of 115 in general? Who knows, maybe even the QED gave her some abilities. He does make a point about us speculating on a 40 second preview, let us wait 3 days to see if they do in fact answer this in the big trailer (which I bet they will).
