  1. Because of the poster of the woman holding the zombie head, I find it very likely there will be multiple crews introduced in BO 2. And yes, FIVE and Cotd both have significant roles in the story (especially Cotd). Did you know that FIVE takes place at the same time as Ascension? And that the crew in FIVE attempted to contact the crew in Ascension? (through the red phone EE). Cotd is where Richtofen worked secretly behind Maxis' back to construct Griffin Station on the Moon. It also where he experimented on Tank, Takeo, Nikolai, and an unknown Mexican. Then there's the Vril-Ya, which would take a lot more time to explain. And I can vouch for Humble Soldier being a super nice guy. He's an amazingly patient and helpful person. I'm not sure Treyarch has confirmed the return of the FIVE crew yet, though.
  2. I would venture to disagree, CoTD introduced most aspects of the Vril-ya that most people had never looked into. It may not be played with the same characters, but I do think it holds just as much weight. Don't forget the fact that it may in fact be Eagle's Nest, where Richtofen experimented on our heroes and secretly built up supplies to construct Griffin Station.

  4. Another possible solution to this problem is maybe instead of having bosses almost every round, boss zombies won't even appear until say round 25 (just using this as an example). Maybe drop a George type zombie into the map at that point. Or maybe, if there are more than two types of zombies on a map, that they actually have a different zombie type every round, but only that type of zombie will spawn that round. Just to use this as an example, look at Shangri-La. One round would be regular zombies, the next round would be Shriekers, the one after that could be monkeys, then finally Napalm zombies. And then the cycle could repeat itself from there, maybe even changing it up every once in a while.
  5. 'Tis is all good bro, I can certainly understand your frustration. Not to call myself more enlightened than others, but there are many many ignorant people out there and it irritates me to the point where I just want to strangle a kitten. ;)
  6. If it would let me, I would give you brains just for quoting one of the best games ever (not to mention the greatest villain ever created). However I wouldn't call him ignorant and unintelligent, that may have been a little mean.
  7. I agree that the AI should be tweaked a little to make the game slightly more challenging, but I have to say that there is nothing more satisfying than blowing an entire hoard of zombies away. Training should remain in there, but perhaps maybe only on a few maps, not all?
  8. This was fake, as it said more info available June 21st or something and nothing came, except Treyarch announcing that they had no plans to announce zombies at that time.
  9. I just had a thought that could kind of go along with your environment hazards. What if there were things on the map (objects/traps/enemies/weather/e.t.c.) that would actually cause you to lose the ability to communicate with teammates via mic? Something that would cause you to go dead silent and have no way to warn your team of the possible danger?
  10. Everything about this post.... Yes. Yes! YES!
  11. Nicaragua is where a lot of shady stuff, performed by our government, went down during the 80's I believe.
  12. He was mentioned with trejo, Nixon, and JFK... That article in no way confirmed anything. The way in which the article was worded made it looked like it was confirmed. The editor's note at the bottom even says that the views expressed in the article are only opinion and speculation. Though the curious thing about the article was that it was linked in a tweet from a Treyarch employee as I recall. I still find it highly unlikely North will appear in zombies.
  13. Where did you hear this? It is on a leaked Se7ensins forum page. They leaked an image that there is a survival mode, which is basically the 4 person co-op I believe, and then a story mode in which it says 'You Will Understand Everything'. Seven Sins is notorious for posting correct things, however I don't believe it is likely Treyarch is making the original mode and story mode separate things, therefore you should take all of this with a large grain of salt. Oh yeah, I've seen that image before. I though somebody came out and admitted to making it or something? Honestly, I would like to believe it, but I doubt it is real.
  14. I would certainly hope so.
  15. I'm almost going to be disappointed if they don't implement this now.
  16. I almost always play with randoms because most of my friends don't even play zombies anymore, they're all waiting for BO 2 to come out. All my high rounds were while playing with randoms, and I was consistently one of the better players in those matches. I don't want to sound arrogant or anything, I've only managed to break 30 on one map (technically 2 but the game lagged out). I wish I could do better but it's hard to find the people to do so. So I feel as if I have in fact earned my co-op records, I just wish I could do better with them. I do find it funny though that in every single match I play, even if I don't get the most kills, I always get the most head shots. Every single time, not even joking.
  17. If those zombies were 40 years old, they would probably more closely resemble the zombies in Cotd and Shangri-La where the zombies appeared to be dormant for years. The zombies in Cotd have decayed significantly due to the fact that they were there since the 1940s, some even missing minor body parts upon spawning. And the ones in Shang have torn up and ragged looking clothing, they also appear to be skinnier than the zombies in all the other maps. The zombies in NML still have relatively clean uniforms (clean for a zombie anyway). I believe this map absolutely takes place in the 60s.

  19. Where did you hear this?
  20. I'm guessing that if Samantha gets her body back, the QED will have something to do with it.
  21. I agree. They were on the right track with the traps in FIVE (despite how lame they were), and I believe they should expand upon that idea. They should just have random pieces like this scattered all over the map and never in the same place too, some maybe even dropped by zombies (boss zombies perhaps?). This kind of strikes me as being very similar to Dead Rising 2, but I still really like this idea.
  22. It's all good (To be honest, I've thought about a LEGO cod quite a few times myself). I just wanted clarification as it has been a slow and dreary day for me and I think I may have just missed that part in your post.
  23. Of course playing the standard game modes on the same map would be extremely repetitive, but we have to take into consideration the fact that the Map they're creating is going to be the biggest map yet, and is going to feature new, and creative game modes. Also, considering the MP engine is being integrated, there's no doubt in my mind that we'll be seeing tons of various ways to play, and different things to play. I know it will still always be fun to play because these new game modes will probably be absolutely amazing as Treyarch hasn't let us down yet. Though personally, I don't believe Map size makes that much of a difference. Moon was gigantic but even that got repetitive after awhile. Now I will admit that this may be in part due to the fact that I'm always doing the same thing on every single one of these maps so maybe by having more game modes available, that will increase the playability of this map. I guess we will just have to wait and see what they have in store for us once the game's released.
  24. ...Black Ops only came with two... I count Dead Ops as a map. It's still round based and technically never ends. Plus I really loved that map and felt as if it was extremely under-valued.
  25. I assume you're talking about it not as a Lego game? Just having this as a gameplay feature in COD: Zombies? I can't really tell what specifically you mean by that, I apologize if it's just me having a brainfart. [brains]
