  1. I don't think enough people have said that this hasn't been confirmed yet.
  2. I would be willing to bet they'll have one for it once the Wii-U is released. And also welcome to the site!
  3. Where is everyone getting the idea of a Tacitus Task Force? I thought Tacitus was only involved with the campaign?
  4. Just because they come out for other Nintendo systems (if they do) doesn't mean you have to buy them. I'm pretty sure that would actually make a lot of people happy, too, if they did.
  5. I think you're right about the Cotd storyline being unfinished. I just had a thought about that too. We all know that if you shoot a teammate with the VR11, they become invincible and have instant kill right? Well what if George, at the time of his transformation got infected with the same thing that powers the VR11? Think about it, we can never technically kill him, he's much stronger than the rest of the zombies, and this is the only place we know there is vril energy (or whatever it is) so far. There are definitely still many unexplained mysteries centering around this map. Where did the golden rod come from? What was that blinking off in the water? Why is there 115 there in the first place? If not a map, I think we definitely need some sort of explanation for this, and only time will tell.
  6. Love the little nod toward zombies at the end.
  7. That's actually part of what I was trying to say. I apologize for not being more clear.
  8. I would say FIVE and Shang were among the least popular because they were by far the most challenging. They both are somewhat small compared to the other maps, they mostly consist of tight spaces. FIVE's wonder weapon was all but useless in the later rounds. The special zombies in Shang appear almost every other round after about round 5, and the napalm zombie is a bitch to take care of. And they both lack traps (I know FIVE had two but it was near impossible to use them). I actually love these maps a lot because they're so challenging and unique. But I can never play them because I can't find anyone to play them with. Pretty much all my friends hate them, and all the randoms I come across kind of suck, not to be mean but it's true. Very rarely do I find a good player in these maps. As stated earlier, they do kind of separate zombie players to a degree. Casual players tend to not play them and instead will go for Ascension or Kino, since they are a bit easier and aren't as frustrating most of the time. I love the difficulty of these maps, but no one is willing to properly give it a shot.
  9. I actually recall coming across several articles confirming a zombies campaign, but I'm still unsure if any of it is true. I guess we'll just have to wait for official confirmation from Treyarch. Plus I thought that screenshot of the "leaked" menu turned out to be fake. At least that's what I heard. Some guy admitted to photoshopping it or something.
  10. I'm guessing the 80's mission will span a large part of the 80's, so he would generally be in his early 70's at that point if he would've been 67 in 1980, which is still kind of old. Not saying he couldn't do anything, he just couldn't do much.
  11. Wasn't there also something in the terminal about Mason having some issues with his father after the events of Black Ops? Or was that his mother? I just remember there being a letter from a family member of his talking about how lost he was at that time.
  12. I bet that would be hysterical to be able to play as the daughter of Tank Dempsey.
  13. You know, if they changed the AI at all, it'll just be something like what they did in Ascension, letting the zombies roll and sidestep and all that. And as I recall, Ascension was one of the most loved maps. Nothing much will be changed in that regard. And it may look like a giant open area to easily train in, but you have to take into account that it won't be that easy with more zombies and possibly some objects thrown in their as well, as stated earlier. Big changes are coming, but I don't see that as a bad thing. I always enjoy any new innovations to a game, some more so than others, but at least it changes things up and and prevents things from getting too stale. Besides, they will never touch that core gameplay knowing what kind of backlash that would receive, so rest assured, the zombies we all know and love will still be there, it'll just be a little different. And I quote, "Those who look only to the past, are certain to miss the future" ;)
  14. Since the FIVE crew called the base crew for help in Ascension, I think it would be possible that the base crew would do the same if they were stuck on Moon, calling the FIVE crew for help.
  15. I should've known about the texture thing. I feel stupid now...
  16. I would love for it to be in Cuba because that leads to the possibility of it being the FIVE crew. That would make sense too, since they already faced zombies in the Pentagon, obviously implying an outbreak in the U.S. So then the logical next move (if they survived) would be to go to a remote island (like Cuba) and since they had Castro with them, would it not make sense that they would go there?
  17. Not if its in the 80's! Wasn't he like 40 in W@W though? Which would put him around 80 or so in the 80's.
  18. Just because there's one giant open spot that automatically means the map is too easy and subsequently terrible? We haven't even played it yet....
  19. Has anyone noticed the pictures of Fidel Castro in the second screenshot that Poptart posted?
  20. And literally just watched exactly what I just stated above. Someone already posted the video in another thread. Go check it out. It's mindblowing....
  21. Totally called it in my thread. And I love the fact that they threw in the laugh in there, especially with the little nod toward zombies with the logo at the end.
  22. After years of disappointment from wishful thinking, I've grown to distrust these kinds of things. I would love for their to be a trailer that soon, but I remain doubtful that it will happen. Yes I understand Burns subscribing the video stuff, but how do you really know that he did? Did he publicly say that he subscribed them? Is just other people claiming that he has subscribed to them? It's because I don't want to be disappointed that I ask these questions. I've yet to see any kind of official confirmation about these from Treyarch. Video game companies don't usually acknowledge leaks of any kind, and I'm pretty sure it's in Burns's contract that he can in no way, shape, or form reveal anything that they don't first approve of. If this is real, great. If not, oh well. They'll formally reveal zombies when they're good and ready to.
  23. I'm guessing that if they do anything related to zombies, that it won't be a trailer but rather just more information about it. Most likely just details about the new modes they're doing. I assume the trailer will come out closer to the game's release.
  24. There's no real relevant section, mate. I think there should be a "Zombie Related" section, not just focusing on zombies on one game. Just food for thought. Well there's the Off Topic section, even though this pertains to zombies, it doesn't really have anything to do with the game.
