My first thoughts were "worst map ever" but after playing for almost a week now I have to say I may be the best map on blops2. Since all staff besides ice and wind are useless setup does not take nearly as long any more. Normaly takes me about 20-30 minutes which really isnt that bad. The difficulty level and the lack of glitches is really what makes this map though. You can't just be some joe and get a high round on this map expectally if you want to play fast. Campaign team ftw I hope treyarch gets them to make all the maps for blops3 ;)

I had a lot of trouble with him at first but not any more. First thing you need to know is that he will always spawn for the first time on round 8. After this he should spawn every 4-5 rounds and always at the start of the round. Now there are a few good weapons for killing him. Probably the best two are the papped starting pistol and the mark2 but any papped assault rifle can take him out in just a few shots to the head. Also the ultimate staffs can also kill him quick if you charge them but I don't recommend using them since it's a waste of ammo as well as its being harder to use. So now how to deal with him. What I generally do is at the start of every round I listen for his jetpack as you should be able to hear it a few seconds before he lands. As soon as I hear it I cook a monkey and throw it the second he lands. This gives me just enough time to deal with him since any of those weapons I listed can take him out in seconds. Hope this helped

Hey what's up guys, I'm 5and5 but most people just call me Riley. I haven't made a thread on this forum for quiet a long time. Which means most of you probably don't remember me. So if you don't know me, I'm a high round player that it very critical about strategy's. I always try to use the fastest strategy that the map has to offer or the "fastest tactic" if i may. I have a zombie based YouTube channel that i often post on. As well as a Twitch.tv account that i stream most of my high round games on, not only for proof but also because i like interacting with my viewers. Anyways let's talk about the reason for this thread. I recently play a game to round 100 on Die Rise. Which is the first round legit 100 on Black Ops 2 co-op and the current world record on this map. Video here: FLlE_yvk9l4 This video does not show the strategy very well. That is why i posted a second video of the full round 88. This video really shows what we did and more importantly how effactive the Sliquifier can be if use properly. Full round 88 video: ehjfVdO9JRE Some more imformation on this game: -Game was played on xbox w/ iiFrooogle (me) and DoM Iz Siick -Downs: 3 for me, 1 for Dom -Time: a bit more than 13 hours gameplay -Recycles: not once -Perks: I was too lazy to go get speed cola (it was at the bar) Dom had who's who the whole game (never used it though) -Patch: we purposely un-patched the Sliquifier Thanks for reading/watching
-
Thanks Chopper, I wish more people could just say that, instead all i'm getting is "Not legit, you are a glitcher" I guess that's what i get for posting a video on how to make Die Rise fun again =/ As for none white being able to run, yea i know about that in my 91 game me and Dom took turns with the gun for a little while at least(with the patch you have to recycle a lot). Oh one last thing, do you think i would be able to make a thread on how to fix/un-patch the Sliquifier or is that against the code of conduct?

Recoil ruins HAMR, MTAR, & more
5and5 replied to ZoMBiE MaSSaCrE's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I'm just glad that they fixed the spread. If you didn't know before this patch all in un-upgraded gun had close to the same spread as if you were hit fireing from the hip while aimed down sights... A little more recoil for a gun that shoots where you point it, is a fair trade off if you ask me ;) -
The simple answer is.. You cheat. You have one player start a solo custom game and go build the trample stream on round one using the active revive elevator. This player then goes back to spawn and invites the other three player to the game. Now all player can take the elevator in spawn to go build the Sliquifier at anytime and then just use the trample steam to get back up. Now you have two players drop down so they can hit the box, you keep hitting and moving the box untill every player has what they want. Then every one meets up at the hole in the ground. From here, three of you can sit in the corner while the player with Sliquifier does all the work If you didn't want to do it that way then I would do it the way Edward suggested. Since I rather not use the trample steam to wall breach and what BSZombie was talking about using the ladder to get up doesn't work from flinger to pdw. Anyways great thread Chopper, I actually tried no power two player today haha needless to say we used my method :P
-
I'm not too sure what Tom means by "rooted" but im guessing he is talking about the fact you can't sprint while in the knife animation. Which does suck but in the end it's worth it since using the knife method is actually faster per burst. It is less safe since you can't sprint for half a second every burst but that's like most fast strategy you have to trade a bit of safety for speed. Anyways if anyone is still looking to do high rounds on this map you should do it now, before this method gets patched as well...

Some more amazing work BinSys. I got a few questions though. When you say magma do you only mean the pools of lava or the lines of fire as well? Also is it the time the zombie is on fire or the time it's standing on the fire source? Last but not least do you know why some zombies on fire explode instead of turning into crawler when shot with a raygun? Anyways, keep the threads coming! I loving them :D
-
Well done BinSys. I always thought that BO2 was the same as BO, guess I was wrong ;)

This has been fixed. Now zombie will only die if zombies are damaged. Also you don't need to damage zombies for the bus to kill them now.

[For 3ARC] Issues across consoles/PC collection list V.1.2
5and5 replied to Matuzz's topic in General Zombies Discussion
PC: If you have more than 40 friends or something like that, learderboards will crash the game every time you try and open them. PC: The game crashes about 50% of the time I try loading any map... PC: The game has crashed multiple times randomly while going for high rounds... (not including steam DC's) PC: The game makes me want my 60 bucks back.. :( -
I'll probably get hate for saying this but.. I think that this was a fantastic patch! Not only because it shows us that Treyarch is trying to make this game better but also for fixing some of the major flaws with this game. So first, the improvement of the zombie AI and the removal of the "godmode anywhere at any time glitch". These is huge for Black Ops 2, personally my biggest dislike of the game was that zombies literary could not hit you if you were sprinting (with a speed gun). Now I'm not saying that the zombies hit you as much as they did in Black Ops 1, that's for sure. But even though the zombie AI is only a little bit better it does give me hope that us more skilled player still have a place in this game that is clearly made with the noobs in mind. As for the godmode glitch being removed! This makes grief a lot more enjoyable, since I really can't stand sore losers that need to cheat just so they don't down... Second, the perma jug and new insta kill were not necessary of course, but they are not half as bad as you guys are making them seem. Now, yes perma jug does ruin first room on Tranzit but we can't forget that there still is bus depot first room. Besides that I can only see perma jug as a good thing. For starters, this does not ruin challenges at all. This creates them, rather than doing challenge without jug or one's close enough to jug. We now can do a challenge ANYWHRE on Tranzit. I've already got a lot of ideas. Now for high rounds this really doesn't change much, it only lets you take one more hit if you have jug. Which really doesn't matter since you will be running at farm (one of the largest areas they have ever put in zombies). The perma jug only helps when you go down and have to run through the fog to get jug back. I don't know how many of you have actually done this on a high round but trust me it is/was very stressful. Lastly, zombies dying instead of respawning. I understand that this makes the round 1 set up almost impossible but is that really that big of a deal? You have to think about the bigger picture. This makes it possible to get round 100+ on learderboards, this makes it so Tranzit doesn't only have one high round strategy, this makes it so you can get to round 50 with no kills haha. So what, you have to do things like build the jetgun mid round, whatever I would normally do that anyways. Having said that I do think they will change this part of the patch since it's not very noob friendly. So to sum this all up I'm very happy with this patch and truly hope that Treyarch will continue with patches like this one. To be honest I thought this game was going to be like moon in how they never patched any of the major glitches.. I guess I was wrong :D

When do alternative killing methods work?
5and5 replied to Tom852's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Yes, im 100% sure of it. As for new area respawner, I think you have to do more than 50% of there health (just a thought, no proof). Even if this is true I still don't see any practical uses for know this. If you are trying to get higher on the learderboard it would be much easier to make crawlers than it would be to get every zombie in the horde to half health. -
When do alternative killing methods work?
5and5 replied to Tom852's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Hey Tom, good thread So I have also tested these alternative methods of killing and have found a few thing that you may find helpful. First thing you need to know is that: New area respawner (teleporting) and alternative methods of killing (Bus, power) are NOT the same thing -When you run or teleport to a new area zombies will die when they are arm less or crawler's as you said. -When you kill a zombie with a alternative method, you only have to damage the zombie for it to die. Ex/ you shoot a zombie with the m1911 at round 50, that zombie then gets hit by the bus. It dies, not respawns. I know a few people that have gotten to round 50+ with less than 1000 kills because all they did is make the horde all crawlers then run into the fog, far enough so that they all die then run back. Also there is one way of killing zombies without really killing zombie at anytime and at any round. Very few people know about this but you can actually use the spawn room as a trap As soon as you leave the room via turbine and the doors shut, all zombie inside will respawn (or die if damaged). Proof - I also made a strategy that used this but never tried to refine it because I could not see a practical use for it =/ The Jetgun strategy is much faster than this ever will be. The only real uses for this is to get higher on the leaderboards but... ever since the last patch me and most of my friends can not open the leaderboards without it crashing the game.... Now, I also thought of using this on xbox to get #1 but... since there is a glitch to make the turbine and trap un breakable. I would get the record only to then be beaten by some guy that sets up his trap then goes to bed for the night...... So hopefully this helps and just try to ignore my negativity towards Blops2 :P -
For some reason once you get 17 revives on TranZit you will be granted a drop. This drop gives you quick revive but does not take a perk slot. Instead It will change the color of the "reviving ..." text to blue. If you buy quick revive after doing this you will revive people 4x as fast! Also this CARRIES OVER to the next time you play TrainZit! One last thing to all you story line experts, why the number 17, what does 17 have to do with anything? Video Proof: Z8gnUC4ISKI

First I would like to say 50 in 2 hours co op, I don't think that's possible. I've done in 2 and a half though. Anyways back to the matter in hand. I believe that aditude is they most important in the long run. Since every thing you have listed can far improved on if looked at with the right aditude. For exmaple: Luck: You can not rational luck to be the solo factor in why certain people can do amazing thing and you can't. You have to have the aditude in were luck isn't a factor in your play. You have to think that you can make your own luck. Concentration: This may be the most effected by aditude. To keep concentrated for a long period of time is very hard and almost impossible in a bad state of mind. If your aditude is, no mistakes till I reach my goal. You are far more likely to succeeded than if your attitude is, hopefully I don't mess up before I get my to my goal. Decision making: Your aditute on decision making has to be very strict. The best way and one of the only ways to improve decision making is learn from your mistakes. 99% of the time a down is caused by bad decision makin. So instead of getting furstarted that you down, calmly think back to what happend and try and pin point exactly why you downed and more importantly make sure to not make the same decision the next time. The worse thing you can do is thinking that there was nothing that you could have done, since that is never the case there is always something that you could of done! Instinct: You must trust your instincts. If you do not then you have to improve them. How you may ask, well the same way you get better at any thing practice. The best way of improving instinct is by playing challenges such as nml. Maybe, I change to topic from what is most important to how to improve but.. Meh. Here is my two cents.

This strategy actually would work in co op. The spot by the help door or as some call it the "super spot" is big enough to fit 3 players maybe even 4 never tested that though. The strat does not rely on any door set up, so I would recommend leaving the help door closed till 30. starting every round in tommy then going to spawn to hoard the zombies. I believe Super has video of this some were on here. Zombies will respawn on every map if you run then around for too long. Shooting then will cancel new area respawn (Nacht is to small for this). But maps like COTD will make the zombies respawn if you run to far from the horde if you do not damage the zombies first.

I already answered your question

Hey CoDz, its 5and5 here with a new strategy for Nacht Der Untoten. I know 95% of you guys don't care about new strategy's since Blops 2 is so close but still I thought I would post this here for that 5% that still might care. yDrpbXAxmBU So, here is the safest and fastest strategy for this map solo (No ifs, buts or maybes, it just is ). This strategy abuse a mechanic I call a "zone inside a zone". Which means, all the zombies will ONLY spawn in the zone you are in, instead of spawning in the zone you are in as well as the zone(s) next to you. Another example of this mechanic is on ascension, when you are on the catwalk in the first room, zombies will not spawn anywhere but in the first room even with both doors open. After understanding this, the strategy become pretty simple. Sit in the corner to cause the zombies to not to spawn in tommy or up stairs, then run to the Kar as soon as you see a zombie jumps out of either windows next to it the Kar (this isnt 100% necessarily in the higher rounds but still helps). What this does is buy you a little time before you going into tommy, so that you arent foruced in there too early. Then once you are in tommy just buy more time till the zombies from mulekick windows have time to catch up and then run by all the zombies. Ok, having that said this strategy should take about about 30-35 seconds per horde past round 50 and never more than 40 seconds at round 30. I would also like to note that I didnt get hit once while running this strat (not hitting the box) from 30 all the way to 57. Not trying to brag, just trying to reiterate how insanely safe this strategy really is. I believe that anyone half descent at zombies that ALSO has a fair amount of patience to hit the box without taking shortcuts (going only half way to tommy then doing a cutback to hit the box faster) can achieve 60+ on this map without to much trouble. hopefully you guys enjoyed this.

Hey guys, I noticed that I haven't posted anything or even check CoDz as of late Well this mainly has to do with the fact that the Tapatalk app on my phone seems to not work with CoDz anymore... Im not sure if this is a problem with the site or my phone either way I normal spend 90% of my time here on my phone not my computer, so ya. Anyways I'm here now with a new strategy on Shino. I wont explain the strategy to much here since its all in the video. But I will say that this is the only solo strategy that I know of, that allows you to kill hordes in under one minute. while still being safe enough to get you to high round, hopefully without a down That's really all I have to say so.. here's the video. 90mq5rPAbmM
