  1. ( If they didn't have zombies, I would never buy a cod game ever again. MW3= Crap BO2(Without Z)= Crap MW3 is a big fat turd, as is every IW game. But BO2 is going to be really good just like BO1. Can't wait to beast people in FFA.
  2. You joking? WaW was even less smooth... if they got close to you, you were grabbed and had a small chance to get away. They can't hit you from 5 feet away, I think you might be misjudging the distance in BO. Now, I honestly think that it's not necessary at all to increase the base health. That would just make it easier to stay alive. 2 hits is good. No way. WaW is a much smoother game than Black Ops. I play both of them all of the time and playing on WaW is almost a sigh of relief. There's too much aim assist on Black Ops and my gun wavers all over the place (watch elpresador and his rants on black ops gun wavering) and it's hard to acquire a target. Also I like how in WaW Verruckt you can take like 2 or 3 more hits with Jugg than its Black Ops version but its balanced out by the fact that the zombies are about as fast as you. That was a cool experience because I felt like the zombie behavior was different in each WaW map while in Black Ops it was pretty standard in each map except for Ascension where they would barrel roll and COTD where certain ones would sprint at you (like the WaW verruckt ones).
  3. I feel the same way. Entirely different than the original zombies. I like how the original ones were a border defense style. Now it's lets see who has the most time and concentration to run in a circle for hours on end. I have fun pumping lead into zombies, not finding a place to round them up and run in a circle for hours. That turns ME into a zombie. Now i know why they call it that haha but no joke the maps after ascension could have been called monsters instead of zombies. Still looking forward to BO2 zombies maps but I kinda hope they do a throwback where you're pretty enclosed like NDU or Verruckt. Or even FIVE without the confusing stuff like the portals and the technician and the crawlers. Just want straight up zombies. That was the most fun.
  4. Better than the 2 and 3 IW has. Those represent the black marks on the series.
  5. Go for Ascension. I got to round 32 solo but just found it too boring to go any further plus my hands feel like they're about to fall off if I play any longer in one run like that.
  6. Which do you find is better for zombies? I like default better for zombies because I never find a reason to go prone really and I like to get the bowie/sickle and shoot at them and then knife and I find it easier to do with default. Although I like tactical better for MP, I find myself playing so much zombies that I strictly keep the default layout.
  7. I guess I would pick dogs if I had to pick any. But I prefer NDU and Verruckt with endless rounds of ZOMBIES. Not MONSTERS.
  8. at least 3 hits, 4 would over power the player and make it WAYYYY to easy. Fair enough. But I wouldn't mind 2 hits if it has the same smoothness as WaW.
  9. All of Elena and Kevin's songs are sick.
  10. Okay, I wrote this in the COTD thread but wanted to see what you guys think of the zombie mechanics: Well if you work at Treyarch now then I suggest you suggest to them to give you more health before Jugg. All the Black Ops maps make you go down too fast because practically every zombie double slaps. And also the zombies in Black ops can hurt from like 5 feet away. In WaW they had to be right on your ass. The zombie mechanics definitely worked a lot better in WaW. I believe this goes along with the bad hit detection in Black Ops (ever play multiplayer?) For some reason, both mulitplayer and zombies were both MUCH smoother on WaW. And like I said the zombies had to be right on your ass to hurt you. I frequently go down before I get Jugg because zombies are hitting me from 5-7 feet away. If you're gonna have bad hit detection then at least make it take 4 hits before you go before jug.
  11. I can respect that. Ya, unpredicatability is good but I'm thinking more when the dogs spawn at the same time as the zombies in Der Riese. Now that was fun in a funny sorta way.
  12. Well if you work at Treyarch now then I suggest you suggest to them to give you more health before Jugg. Your new coworkers must have been higher than a kite the day they decided to include that in there.
  13. if it weren't for George. How can anyone says George is fun? Maybe some 10 year old kid (who will cry if George knocks them down) or some stoned person who doesn't know what the hell is happening. Treyarch, for the love of god, if you don't take him out when you rerelease these "old" maps on BO2 at least make an option to take him out. He totally is against what zombies started as in NDU.
  14. You think they would release the World at War maps for a third time though?
  15. Honestly, why would they not add zombies? They would have nothing to gain by not including it.
  16. Like the style of the Easter Eggs from NDU to Kino where it was something like finding radio (DR), flushing a toilet (Verruckt), using the phone (SNN), or using movie reels (Kino) instead of the Zelda like puzzles they have now? The old ones were just cool and mysterious.
  17. You sir, read my mind. I'll think they'll do 2 maps, one with the characters/storyline, and then one without the characters like how FIVE was. And then they'll probably include Dead Ops 2. As for the Hardened/Prestige, ya I bet they'll include the Black Ops zombie maps. I agree with you when you say they probably won't do the original 4 again. And if they did it would be such a huge download too with all the maps, BO1 and WaW. But maybe Hardened will have the BO1 maps and the prestige edition will have all of the maps?
  18. Depends what era the game is. For a WW2 game, the old style one is definitely better for sure. But they both look fine to me.
  19. The CallofDuty twitter account and some treyarch members seem to have just gotten on twitter so I would expect it very soon. Whenever its convenient for people working on Pacific time.
  20. I remember reading the forums on COD.com last year and after each trailer (which was usually a week or less before the actual zombie would come out) people would somehow know everything. Like I remember reading someone knew about the VR-11 before the map came out . If they put zombies in the reveal some of you nerds would figure out it out in less than an hour and the first map would probably feel like old news by the time it's released. Just my opinion.
  21. Either way I'll be disappointed because I really wanted a WW2 game. But yes, I'd rather have a Cold War than futuristic.
  22. I can say the MP7 picture is so fake. Even so, listen to everything FPSRussia is saying for about the first minute. "The technology won't even be available for another decade." "in the next 10-15 years shit is going to get real. Soldiers will need technology like this." "This is truly a weapon of the future." It would be stupid to have something like this quadrotor thing in a Cold War game while at the same time having Treyarch sponsor this video. Also the camera does a close up of what cards the zombie is holding. 9 of diamonds, jack of spades, ace of spades, 9 of hearts, and jack of clubs. Any significance?
  23. So with FPSRussia saying this thing won't be seen for another 10 years and the screenshot of the guy holding an MP7 (no idea if that's real) this could potentially be "futuristic."
