  1. My friends and I have already thought they might do a separate zombie clan thing. Made us a little Group 935 already in case it comes time for it and it could've been taken in the event that they don't split off normal clans and zombie clans. If they do then I guess we'll just remake it. Really looking forward to stat tracking that will most likely be incorporated into. See how many downs we get across our games, kills, accuracy, headshots, revives, pack a punches, etc. etc. I think looking at somebody's stats should be an easy way to tell the good from the bad if they've played several games. Even better if you can look at their stats on certain maps to see if they have boosted scores. (Go to play Shangri-La and they have played Ascension 200 times versus Shang 20 so their stats look better) i wouldn't mind a prestige feature either. I don't play multiplayer as much as zombies and being 15th zombie prestige would be nice.
  2. I think you overestimate the hardware capabilities of what they have to work with. It would take a crapload more video ram than the 256mb (might be 512 not sure) that is in the xbox/ps3. If the map were big enough to warrant opening sections at a time, then we'd see loading screen, glitched zombies from them transferring to different areas and not loading on a players screen, horrible frame rate drop when lots of people try to transfer. I like this idea though but not for a CoD game. Seems more F2P MMO to me than CoD.
  3. Because there is a zombie laugh at 3:45ish and then they talk about zombies while showing us this stuff. There is also the picture of the zombies/people in the abandoned tunnel and in the bar picture with the pool table it looks as though there are 2 doors you can buy (one with what looks like a knocked over fridge on the left, and the other has various junk in the way behind the bar to the right.) And as for the design, that would be a horrible MP map since its got that line of sight like that. I understand you have no sound though so the laugh isn't there for you.
  4. My friends and I will do that if we know there will be difficulty in getting to juggernaught. I like the idea of a wonder weapon like the Vr-11 in that it is for support but don't like the weapon itself in that I hate its guts. If I get the ballistic knife early on a map with PaP I'll stick with it for most of the game and revive people over and over usually ending up with 50+ revives. My friends hate it and call it the ball-sucks-tic knife. I love playing with selfish randoms though. Makes it hilarious when they go down and beg you to revive them because they A. have a ray gun dude B. I'm going to lose my PaP weapon C. I've got the *map specific wonder weapon here* or D. going to lose my points Stay funny selfish randoms. I'll just keep half reviving you and running away.
  5. I think you might have the wrong impression of midnight. Also the eclipse happens over the pacific ocean-ish area. Nobody in europe/north america will ever see it. Edit: unless they go out of their way to watch THIS specific eclipse. I read my own post and the smart-alec in me found the potential for others to capitalize.
  6. If you go to that time in the trailer where you grabbed that screen then you'll notice she is working on the same part of the map but from a different angle. The bottom of the different angle has the top to a propane tank, which the hole in the roof is adjacent to. Blurry, but clearly a propane tank once you see the reference. I thought it was an elephant until my friend pointed it out.
  7. Well Nikolai has had 9 wives. You'd think somewhere along the line he did the do and had a kid. Wonder if he'll try to marry sam next
  8. Actually they time traveled from Der Riese to Kino so that 5 year old *killin' zombies since 1945* would've been born in 1940, making her 30/40 in 1970/80s. No way it's her. Nice idea though. Edit: Also we DO know that Kino is in at least the 60s thanks to the load screen and all the WaW maps are between 1943-1945/
  9. But that doesn't mean he still isn't a big voice in the gaming industry. Pretty sure I heard something about him going to work for Spike TV or whatever it is they have for games.
  10. Interesting but I don't like it due to the fact its too scripted. The only thing that is scripted in zombies are what the characters say, and how far you are into a particular easter egg. I like the first idea of a group of characters (CoTD crew is fine) watching the rockets do their do assuming they aren't dead/zombies and Sarah doesn't spout out a line every 15 seconds like she does for me.
  11. Dear God I never thought of them making the teams like that. Tacitus would be all swat-ish, Group 935 (while most casual zombie players would have NO idea why/who they are this is my favorite) could be a various mixture of scientist looking guys like the pentagon theif, and I wouldn't mind the possibility of using CoTD or Five crews for the game modes. Verruckt offers us the start of the story and an experimentation ground for Group 935. Nacht didn't add anything other than the launch of the game mode and zombies as we know it. At that point I don't think the developers were thinking they'd come this far with it. Of course it MAY have been a testing ground of sorts, but I haven't heard anything proving that.
  12. well the cap is 24, but they will be able to double everything when transferring over to the multiplayer engine which will grant us a supposed 48 zombies. Even then Verrukt would be much more difficult. I like your optimism though and all the people that instantly disliked BO2 for it having the "future stuff" need to look to the past and see that Treyarch are good developers and capable of delivering what they think will be a good game. [brains] for optimism good sir.
  13. so uh... google already did us the favor, plus that wasn't the only diner.
  14. Just them saving time/being lazy. Developers reuse textures between games all the time. In the meantime, I got a good look at those other diners they had up in the trailer right before the BO2 poster. They either just really like diners, or something is going to be in a diner.
  15. Oh yeah I know, In fact scouting around the general area of the diner doesn't look much like the other images. Gonna see if I can find the location of where the street is now. Found it. Doesn't look much like the map. Definitely just a reference. If you go to the address then you have to go down the street a little bit and it'll be on the right side
  16. If you look at that same spot in the trailer, then you'll notice she has another view open at the same time looking up into the roof where a possible zombie spawn is. The bottom of her work area has a top to a propane tank. Thought it was an elephant. Friend proved me wrong.
  17. Ever run in the Biodome? Or in Ascension? Running Flopper can't be much harder than running in a street. But as Liam said, Zelinski referred to only one map. Singular. Let's just hope it's a damn GOOD map, if they're only giving us one for the time being. Oh yeah, and what's that yellow thing in the zombie image? I thought 'Wunderwaffe' when I first saw it, but I could be mistaken. If you watch the video and go to 3:50 then you can see pretty easily its a burning car. I assume its part of the barrier that those shamblers are walking towards. I'm craving more and I've only gotten about 10 seconds of video and 2 laughs. :geek:
  18. Girl zombie? Hazmat suit? Train tunnel definately. Starting room maybe? I'd imagine a perk machine or the pack a punch could be in here? I noticed that this room has 2 door on the inner part in the screen above and then there was this huge opening. Maybe you need to go in here to get a perk or a box spawn? Also think about the fact that there are a possible 8 people with 48 zombies. Not saying this will be the case every time but they need to think about when it is the case.
  19. GElKpJLvKLc Go to 3:41 and behold
  20. Its not hard for the developers, but hard for the machine. A pc with a decent graphics card/processor wouldn't have a problem with 16 players and 48 zombies but as it stands that many characters on a map would result in a retardedly low frame rate for the people in that situation with a console since they are running on 6 year old technology. The only way they'd be able to do it is to make the textures and render distance look like crap and you know they won't do that. I like the 8 person though. I hope they'll add more players for pc though
  21. They sort of already do. And by sort of I mean the power-up drops. Those are enough for me, but new ones are always cool like fire sale and death machine. Just wish Bonfire sale was on more maps.
  22. Sure Civil War would be interesting, until you have to take 5 minutes to reload. They would find some way around that. History channel made a civil war game several years ago (2006?) that was pretty good. The reloading made you feel vulnerable but still did't take TOO long. CoD wouldn't work with Civil War era though.
  23. I like your style. I'd make exceptions for those times when you are trying to buy jugg but get downed either A. after you buy but before it activates B. on your way to jugg but the horde is blocking you
  24. My friends and I always go for Jugg first on CoTD (any map really). If the box happens to be on the way, great. If not, oh well we'll get to it later. We always know what we need to do as far as opening doors go and if we play with randoms, its because we want to see if we can find somebody so bad its hilarious. I love the ray gun but not enough to risk not having jugg in the event I go down, or somebody on my team actually NEEDS to get a weapon better than a china lake and a spectre.
  25. Its nice, but I'm not a modern warfare kind of guy. I'd absolutely love earning xp for zombies, prestiging, and showing my zombies peen to the noobs. 1xp per zombie * round number + 5xp for every 10k points made would be fine in my book
