It should stay 4 max imo. Having more would take away from the cooperative challenge and the feeling of isolation.

Is the next CoD Really a BO Seaquel
lackingvoltage replied to killallzombies's topic in Single Player
For all we know BO2 could be anything from a direct sequel to BO or a game talking place half a century later with all new characters but a similar theme. Only time will tell. -
No, the Astronaut Zombie was added as an enemy that blends in w/ your allies. They would never make Zombies 5-player, it would be wacky since it's an odd number of players. I personally see no good reason at all to change the 4p cap, any more would take away from the sense of isolation in Zombs and make it too easy to survive.

Black Ops 2 Coordinates Solved confirmed
lackingvoltage replied to blackfire561's topic in Single Player
Strangely enough, the coordinates have slightly changed since then, and they're behaving differently now in regard the way the numbers change. For example, the whole part before the , is no longer changing. -
I personally will only buy Hardened/Prestige if it includes some Zombie bonuses and/or DLC discounts, THAT'S IT. I don't care for some useless "collector's item" like an over-priced remote-control car.

Official CallOFDuty.com BO2 Viral thread - UPDATE 7

It's just an audio wave, you see it along with sound files all the time. I think this is a sound clip from the game, and probably the voice of a significant character. -
(OFFICIAL) BO2: Prestige Edition Ideas Thread
lackingvoltage replied to ZombiNation's topic in Single Player
Why would it have a bonus item that you're not allowed to use for 6 months? And what happens if you lose the card in that time? No offense but that's a terrible idea. I think they should do just what they did for BO: include a classic Zombies maps code, only this time for both the WaW AND the BO maps. Then later on after all normal map packs are out, release them as DLC so people who bought the normal edition can get them, along with a new Zombies map that Prestige/Hardened owners get for free, same thing they did with Rezurrection. -

Official CallOFDuty.com BO2 Viral thread - UPDATE 7
lackingvoltage replied to Strwrsbob's topic in General Discussion
You don't know that for sure it could be far from the camera so it just looks small. Maybe Treyarch is trying to tell us that you can attack aircrafts with the quadrotor, cause it looks like it could be from the quadrotor's point of view. That is an unmanned drone. It could be a UAV or a similar surveillance aircraft. -

Official CallOFDuty.com BO2 Viral thread - UPDATE 7

Pretty sure that's some kind of helicopter, or, like Matuzz said, a quadrotor. Tbh this one's kind of disappointing. :| -
I find it incredibly rude that you're all making a big joke out of the fact that he has missing fingers. Not trying to be overly dramatic or anything, just saying you should show the guy a little respect.

Is it likely they will make an other zombies reveal site?
lackingvoltage replied to ZombiesQUANTUM's topic in Single Player
I don't think Zombies in BO2 really even needs confirmation, lol. Given that Zombies was huge in WaW, then even bigger in BO, it would be foolish in every way for them to discontinue it. Not to mention that at CoD XP last year at the Zombies panel they confirmed that we would see more Zombies in the future. But I do agree with you that they will probably do something to re-introduce Zombies, like gknova6 or something similar. -

Official CallOFDuty.com BO2 Viral thread - UPDATE 7

Oh sorry, had no idea about that, I was just checking the homepage and happened to notice that the numbers and letters in the first half (before the comma) were no longer changing. -

lackingvoltage replied to ZombiesQUANTUM's topic in Single Player
Knowing Treyarch, they will probably have some online riddles relating to Zombies, even if it's not on gknova6. -
My idea for a new wonder weapon is: the Aging Gun. You fire it at a group of zombies and it unleashes a wave of energy, and the zombies quickly begin to grow thin and wrinkly, start to move a lot slower, start to hunch over, and eventually disintegrate into dust. Upgraded it would be called the Backtracker, and it would have the opposite effect - you fire it at a group of zombies, and they quickly begin to shrink and look younger, until they become children, babies, zygotes, and eventually pop out of existence. I also think the upgraded Ray Gun should be made dual-wield in BO2.

lackingvoltage replied to Strwrsbob's topic in General Discussion
Don't know if anyone has already said this, but the numbers from 2 days ago are behaving differently now. "Activision's next Call of Duty is set in the near-future, the publisher has more or less confirmed via pictures of helicopter robots. " They're not completely sure either. True, good point. -
Official CallOFDuty.com BO2 Viral thread - UPDATE 7

Fyi guys Official Xbox Magazine has posted an article saying that BO2 will take place in the near future. Definitely the most reliable source we've this from thus far. www.oxm.co.uk/41014/black-ops-2-rumoure ... -anywhere/ -
I agree w/ u that death streaks are a big no-no, but I don't think they should include fictional wonder-weapons in multiplayer. It wouldn't fit right, b/c multiplayer is supposed to feel like real warfare, not a sci-fi adventure.
-
Perhaps, but I think if that were the case they would've just wrote on the poster something "CoD: BO2, available for preorder May 2nd, 2012!", even if they had to wait till after announcement, instead of making it something of a riddle like they did. I mean, why would they want to make a preorder date secretive? That's a lousy business move if you ask me.
-
Cool find, but I think it's pretty much a given that we will see BO2 stuff at E3. They've done so every year for every CoD game since CoD1.
-
So, the ad on CoD.com says that BO2 will be revealed on May 1st, but the GameStop poster says May 2nd. At first I was confused by this, but I think I know why now. I think that the reveal on the 1st will be a normal reveal trailer, similar to this one for BO: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3NQWqL14jc. BUT, I think that on the 2nd we will get an interview trailer like this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgeK0XXR30A. The reason I think this is because the poster advertises it as "Return for Debriefing", and in this video the developers are DEBRIEFING the details of the game for us, aka rolling out the information. That's just my 2 cents, what do you guys think?
