^ This was part of the first 'The Map' trailer we got a few months back. To me, it really looks like the tunnel we see the Bus driving into in the teaser trailer of last week. I can only conclude that 'The Map' is Transit and is indeed the only map that we are getting, with Nuketown as an extra DLC. The map has to be huge though, since we haven't seen anything of the city yet as seen in the original dev trailer.

Please use the actual source link of a picture to embed it, otherwise it doesnt work . And dont forget about the Preview button! It's the best tool on a forum. On Topic: I see the roof hatch being open, but im not entirely convinced that it actually is a ladder that we are seeing. I'm 50/50 on it. It could be another upgrade to the bus like the ram though, nice theory!

If im right, you're hoping that the campaign starts off on NDU, and walks through every single WaW-BO map (NDU till Moon?) in chronological order? Now THAT would be epic. In that case, it would use the story we already (vaguely) know, and the maps we all played on, but in a campaign setting.

My thoughts on the old wonder weapons returning

The Raygun seems to be confirmed by the teaser trailer. The Thundergun is seen as too powerful since Ascension so I dont see it returning as a mystery box gun. The Wave gun was really made for the no gravity environment of the moon. I dont see that working on the earth tbh. The Shrink Ray would feel out of place in a city environment in my opinion. It could still work though. Winter's Howl would be a good choice imo. Its been away for a while though. The Scavenger, loved that gun! If the map is big enough it would be nice. Vr-11, heh I completely forgot about that thing... The Trend since BO (after ascension) was really Raygun + 1/2 NEW wonder weapons. They had more than enough time to make new ones for BO2 too, I really dont see them reusing any of the above. -
Let me correct myself on this before others do It's actually a little green explosion going off inside the bus, which looks exactly like a raygun (non PaP-ed that is) being fired. To help you notice this:

The 'leaked info' #45, should ring some bells. Anyways, few other things I noticed: -Green glow inside of the bus @ 0:35 (Speed cola?) -Bus is accessible from the roof by zombies @ 0:35 -Mystery box spawn location @ 0:22

It's been discussed here: http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=100&t=24151 A large majority of posters agreed that the 2 new images are NOT Perk symbols. The QR image obviously is a perk though. I suggest continuing the discussion there if you got anything to add to it. ;)

Great theory! Hanford has that wasteland feel just like the picture. The old industry and N reactor create a great vibe for a zombies map. I still feel that the story continues on the earth after a Nuke. The orange glow on the picture strengthens this theory imo. This being 'The Map'with 'The Bus', im not sure about that... in the trailer it looked like a city, not anything like the 'farm'pic we got.

Not talking about the background but the overall style of them. The Quick Revive perk image is very simple, Icon style design in all white (just like perks in BO/WaW zombies). The 2 bigger images are very detailed in design.

The first two images have a completely different style from the Quick Revive one. What makes you think that those 2 things are Perks too? Like RedDeadRiot said, this confirms that those are NOT perks more than anything...

The TV looks like a 1945-50 model (I googled a bit but im really limited at work, ill do some more research when im home ) With the footage in black-and-white and on such an old TV, it really feels like a post-Nuke setting to me (burning crater up front, some tower in the back?). @Jesus source for the montage quote? EDIT: Nevermind It was _Rez_ PS. I dont have audio atm, so I cant comment on that just yet.

I like the idea of having a FFA mode alongside with the 4z4 mode. Not too sure what to think of the whole stick-a-monkey-to-another-player-to-kill-them part... Would be fun to have a Zombies counterpart to the announced "Party Games" mode that will be in multiplayer.

Loving this thread, great ideas! Dunbarian suggests 10.000 kills per gun. With 30-40 guns in the game, it'll take you many many months to get all of them completed, even for the experienced daily zombies players. 1 Million kills per gun is far from achievable for anyone. -
I've.. talked to him about it.. but he has told me to solidly keep my mouth shut, sorry :oops: Even worse... we got an insider that knows. Somebody has to stalk the stalker, volunteers?

This surely strengthens the theories of the original 4 returning in their 'original' form. Richthofen somehow returning to his own body, either via another EasterEgg or even before we start playing on the new map(s). Or... this just refers to the soulswapping that happened on Moon and nothing new for the BO2 zombies story. Syndicate knows... Somebody has to stalk him, volunteers?

Nuketown Zombies...Population

A lot of players have been asking for Solo leaderboards, and with NML treyarch added a nice little challenge for those players. My guess is that this map will be a Solo only map, completely unrelated to the storyline. The populationcounter saying "01" is the main thing why I agree with people saying that it is a solo map. I'd personally be a bit dissapointed because I never really play Zombies on my own. -
The Emblems are part of the new 'Trueskill'ranking system. A system similar to League of Legends / Starcraft 2 / Halo 2's ELO system. The emblems represent leagues that you get ranked in starting from bronze or nickel, up to 'World or Pro' as Vonderhaar calls it. This ranking system will (most likely) be used for the competitive playlists ONLY. This isnt confirmed yet though.

Looks like Vonderhaar was hinting towards Gamescom indeed, but it is more Multiplayer... It will be a livestream on the 15th, and playable for the public the next day. Maybe the 'full' trailer goes live too then at gamescom, including what we hope is some zombies at the end of it. Cant wait . -
I little theory of mine was; Power ups affecting the enemy team in 4z4 mode. So, when team A picks up a power up, it also affects team B, but in a negative way (e.g. 2x points vs 0.5x points or something :roll: ). Or.. separate drops being 'power downs' as you call them, affecting ONLY the enemy team. Your QED theory could work with that nicely too. Again, just a lil'theory I came up with... not even a rumor.

If you guys remember... the first BO2 zombies trailer with the alpha footage of the new map had a room with the same wallpaper as Sam's room. The map being in development at that point could mean that its just a default texture wallpaper... but hey, it sure helps this plausible theory. Skip to 0:28 for what is rumored to be Sam's room.
