Please stop judging (harshly)on details....

Does the survival mode even have a story to it? Since as ts literally just tranzit still, I don't think so but I've never been the theorist guy.
-
Just "five" alone from BO1 was better than all these maps survival mode already. But I'm done bashing the survival mode in this game. For now its dead to me. I'll stick in the multiplayer and tranzit when my buds are online.

Wunderweapon in Nuketown Zombies?
LJx19 replied to killerussian's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Only wonder weapons currently in survival is ray gun, monkey bombs, and (what I believe to be) qed. Source: spent around 50k on the box in town and farm, so assuming nuketown plays by the rules. -
I voted that they're disappointing. Not gonna say horrible because of course it could always be worse. Its disappointing because they hyped up zombies so much and I really was expecting to go crazy, drool, and cut school to play all day. Instead I played survival for 4 hours and decided it ain't worth my school day. And I can only judge how boring it was by my standards. The survival maps have nothing to them. Watch gameplay vids on youtube and you'll see the sizes. Really unimpressive. No running around opening doors finding other areas of map ( even pack a punch is only on one map), lack of wonder weapons.

I'm not tryin to be official or anything but you could always add my psn and check my records 8-). My thoughts on it of course are mine alone, but its not the entire zombies that sucks, just the survival mode we've come to know and love.

That's only on the survival map Farm. Oh oopsy, yea I noticed after riding the bus a bit more in tranzit. I played survival first.

FIRST NUKETOWN ZOMBIES SOLO STRATEGY
LJx19 replied to Flammenwerfer's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I don't think you have to run around that rock when your training. Stay on the side where the stairs come down and make use of that space, then shoot while going around the rock. Just don't think you have to torture yourself like that seeing how you could get trapped so easy. Not sure yet, don't have the nuketown zombz map. -
Ok, I got the game an hour before the midnight release, ran home in 5 minutes, so excited my adrenaline going nuts. Played for 4 hours. First thing first, zombies. Tried the survival modes. Town- Since as I'm a big co-op guy, I of course went right in. Same 500 points and pistol to start, more zombies per round, zombies were weaker. Running around in map I see doors, pack a punch, perks all already activated. Strange. At about round 7 my teammates left because they kept downing, and host migrated, suddenly it was a solo mode. Figured might as well play around for a bit. Found train spot killed till round 20 then suicided. Got very bored. Absolutely nothing to explore. Farm- Had more fun here because, I discovered the galvesknuckle. Its pretty beast. 1 shotting zombies till round 14. I had one other teammate and he was pretty decent. Even less place to explore than town. Map was ridiculously small. Got bored and we quit at round 17. Tranzit- my opninion subject to change once I play with a good team. Grief is pretty hilarious watching everyone go down so damn much. White guy effect still works as well, and is extremely useful for trapping enemies. Lead team to victory the 2 matches I played. Lack of weapons as well. The lots of box spins I took, the only wonder weapons I found were the ray gun, the monkey bomb, and what I think is the qed, I'm not sure. TL;DR -survival is really just meh, it leaves MUCH to be desired. And I mean that quite literally. Grief is really fun, weird getting into it but pretty funny. Tranzit- not sure yet.

Most likely future unlock or DLC.
-
helpful hint- the gremlin things aren't really dangerous, if you have a train going just keep it up and spam knife button when they attack your face, it kills them. And the lava thing is precisely what makes it so retarded. The bus not only leaves once everyone says "ok lets explore the map where the bus stopped for a few mins- oh wait wtf where's it going??? WTF DUDE???" But you also cant follow it. Massively stupid. Opinion still subject to change.
-
Complete agreement. The maps are extremely horribad and get boring extremely fast because they're so small and sucky. I miss my PhD flopper, and pack a punch is only on town ( wtf mang no mustang and sally except for on town!?!?!). This all applies to survival gameplay. So far ( probably because of very sucky people but who knows) the tranzit co-op campaign-ish thing is pretty sucky too. Seriously the bus is a massively useless piece of crap, and if your team moves away from it for 5 seconds it takes off with no one in there. Pros: 1) graphics are pretty dam badass for both zombies and multiplayer, like seriously. 2) love the galvestknuckle ( spell check?) on farm, that thing kicks so much more ass than the bowie knife lol 3) you gain points really fast, but after you gain enough for what u need (about round 12, open doors, buy perks, get guns) nothing else left to do. (yes its still a pro) Cons: 1) needs more wonderweapons than just the ray gun :geek: 2) maps are small and meh 3) bus is a useless piece, (might change if i find good people to play with) 4) no flopper, deadshot daquiri, mule kick, or anything really to keep the God damn fire from being annoying. Much worse than the fog from cotd, or teleporting crawlers on moon. And its EVERYWHERE.

TOMBSTONE PERK EXPLAINED *spoiler alert*
LJx19 replied to Electric Jesus's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Finally!!! Now I know its completely useless  Never go down, never die. 8-) -
Farm. In the house with the box. Go upstairs.
-
Ok ty for this. Makes sense, so I hope you're right.

Well not much has been said about the old crew returning, but I somehow cant shake the feeling that they either wont be there, or we're gonna be seeing very, very little of them. Here's why: 1) The last time we played as the crew we were on the moon and Richtofen switched bodies with Sam. 2) BO2 has tranzit and it's basically just one huge map with an entirely different crew. 3) BO2 also has a survival mode, which they say is similar to the survival in black ops, our beloved old wave based survive longest you can game mode. 4) They say the survival maps in BO2 however are based off the tranzit maps different locales. (ex. the farm, the terminal, etc). 5) They say Richtofen's voice will be heard again and we can pretty much expect that. 6) When Richtofen switched bodies with Sam on moon, the demonic announcers voice was now his. Now after I had laid out all of this, it hit me like a sack of bricks, but I don't think the old crew will be returning (or I hope to God I'm wrong and maybe they will somehow), mainly because if this wave based survival mode has maps based off tranzit, the crew we use on tranzit is new, then the crew we use in survival will also be the same people. The voice of Richtofen that we can expect to hear probably wont be more than the announcer. Please let me hear your thoughts. Please someone prove me wrong. This is the one time in my life I really, really hope I'm wrong. It's not like I don't like the idea of a new crew/new story, but I love the old crew and was really hoping to continue with them for a while.

I think this might have been modeled after a part of some map in game. Kinda looks like a hospital and remember the zombies in hospital gowns? Possible connection there.

Jet engine powered hand cannon. (New "wonder weapon") 10/18
LJx19 replied to Shooter's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I was thinking the same about it sucking them in like a sort of high pressured vacuum. Mostly because I remember a quote from Richtofen on ascension whenever he got the thundergun from the box: "If I had designed this thing, it would have sucked and not blown..." of course I could be wrong. -
How big will the survival maps be?
LJx19 replied to The Way of the Ray's topic in General Zombies Discussion
That's how I thought of it in the first place. "Survival" mode is what brought us our original story of zombies so to say that now survival is gonna be getting maps from what, seems to be, a barely related or not related at all campaign mode would just be pretty weird. -
Favorite Zombie Songs? And Upcoming ones?
LJx19 replied to crazy skillz's topic in General Zombies Discussion
No way man, abracadavre is way overplayed lol, but i do love how it starts of each verse with the riddles. ;) -
Quoted for sadness...even though I am a diehard zombies fan I kinda lack the money to get any special edition atm. Hell even getting BO2 the first week as of now is gonna be a scramble for me, college tuition, rent, books, food, all this crap draining every penny

Favorite Zombie Songs? And Upcoming ones?
LJx19 replied to crazy skillz's topic in General Zombies Discussion
115 by Elena Siegman always puts me in rampage mode for zombies lol. Even when I'm not playing, when I listen to it, it's just like ...why am I not playing zombies right now...? I really hope they get Elena to put more songs in BO2 zombies, her songs are kinda awesomely fitting to the theme. -
I swear I just fucking jizzed watching this trailer on yotes channel. Fucking amazing man i was literally screaming when I went on youtube cuz of how hyped I was. Now i really cant wait for BO2.

Biggest fears include 1: MAP TOO BIG TO EASY TO RAPE-TRAIN NOOOOOOO!!!!! 2: No perfect winters howl/fury (I loved that gun to death on five, I only hope they bring it back not broken) 3:Maps not being released to DLC (I'm not pre-ordering hardened/prestige/whatever, am broke) 4: No Elena Siegman/Kevin Sherwood (My God if they don't put them back in BO2 wit some epic songs. This should actually be number one on the list because epic.)

Haven't been on in a while and this is what I come home to? Some zombies on nuketown....? FUCK YEAH!!! Now this is what the hell I'm talking about. Zombies + Nuketown = Me No lifing the first week of BO2 release.
