Buried Images: Remington New Model, The Paralyzer & More
Xperiment 117 replied to MF_MaxiMillion's topic in Buried
First image is called the Remington New Model Army. It's just a revolver. A cool one though. ;) -
Along with those two other maps to the right of Buried. One looked to be in Europe and the other looked to be in India maybe. Check the link

Buried Achievement Analysis: The Truth About Maxis (Theory)
Xperiment 117 replied to Naitrax's topic in Buried
Agreed. Maybe this "Processing" area is like No Man's Land on Moon because of the achievement that requires the player to pack-a-punch on round 1 without using the bank or fridge. The only way I can see that as a possibility is if the map has a No Man's Land-esque starting area. -
Buried Achievement Analysis: The Truth About Maxis (Theory)
Xperiment 117 replied to Naitrax's topic in Buried
I believe that the names for the map packs in fact do relate to zombies because the map pack names - Revolution, Uprising, Vengeance, etc? - all revolve around the theme of change & revenge. It is shown in the Buried achievements that the Easter Egg involves this very same revolution/revenge - i.e. Richtofen/Maxis. Achievements: Revisionist Historian & When the Revolution Comes I think we'll get the Mined Games achievement from starting the EE a la No One Escapes Alive from MOTD. Continuing from the trend of dlc names, what comes after Vengeance? What would both Richtofen and Maxis do/have as their end game? What would we call the point in time after their Vengeance - where they get what they want? We'll probably be able to do both sides, but I think having either all Richtofen or all Maxis done across all maps might unlock something extra - either an achievement or another side quest. -

I feel as though JZ's link to geology, http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slab_(geology)#mw-mf-search, keeps referring to that map pattern theory of: "Tranzit - Fire, Die Rise - Air, MOTD - Electricity, Buried - Earth, & DLC 4 - Water" and is a DLC 4 tease/troll because of that link's constant referral to subducted tectonic plates which usually create shallow seaways and island archipelagos (or mountains/volcanos). Non-DLC 4 predictions aside, we can most likely expect that Buried is the cause of a subducted tectonic plate in Africa(right? or is it in 'Merica?) that probably caused the lava in Tranzit, and the earth-shattering blows that the buildings in Die Rise felt.

I feel that rather than a complete "wild west era themed map", the map could have been created from two parts: 1. Underground mine w/ Old Western Town above/near that may have fallen/sunk inside mine. 2. Victorian Era town w/ street lamps and that ghost woman's house may have been built over the mining town and/or some parts of it may have also fallen/sunk inside mine. It definitely seems as though some parts of the map are above ground and there also seems to be a good bit of sunlight for this map. Also, how did the new crew even get there?

No One Escapes Alive: Achievement Guide

After leaving Pack-a-Punch the first time, finish a round then instead of plane parts... fuel tanks will spawn in their locations and you bring those to the plane on the roof to refuel. -
Treyarch Tweets hinting at something. (Ireland?) 3/30

1235 = 1+2=(3) + 3=(6) + 5= 11 Notice the missing 4? 4 = April so we might be getting reveal or the map pack release on April 11th Woot. -
Calendars in Die Rise mark Moon's time period?
Xperiment 117 replied to JuggerWicho's topic in Die Rise
ICE or I.C.E Either a reference to the next zombies map being an ice map a la COTD. Or it's an acronym possibly referencing something specific of 935 -
Are Richtofen and Maxis fighting for Dempsy?
Xperiment 117 replied to Mattzs's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Remember the radios from Tranzit? The ones where the two groups were fighting against each other? What if...in the last map...the original four are the group fighting for Maxis and the new four are fighting for Richtofen (Samuel bias?). A sort of Grief mode-esque map feature? :| -
I should have been more specific and said "indirectly according to Treyarch". We know based on in-game appearance and radio msgs that Moon starts off in Groom Lake at Hanger 18's celebration - in the mid to late 60s. Nuketown Zombies, based off in-game radios and the map placement itself is during moon as we can hear Moon's EE occuring during gameplay of the map and on CoD.com we can see that Treyarch wrote that it takes place during Moon - this also would be in the mid to late 60s. Now, I like the theory floating around that Marlton was a teenager during Nuketown Zombies and was kept in the bunker because he is a seriously smart CIA or CDC asset. - The bus sounds are a cameo for sure but are there to emphasize that Marlton is on the map. --- ONWARD! Green Run - name of our second crew's first map - is located in Hanford (Hanford Green Run Project ) and with all the map's aesthetics and appearances of the 2nd crew's clothing/styles...they are in the 80s. I mean seriously, 'Earth Angel' is a popular 80s song and is used as the loading song of Green Run and this timing would correlate with Maxis waiting decades (20 years approx) to find someone to aid his plans. Finally, the Great Leap Forward is a toss up on the map's timeline - especially with Richtofen pushing reset on our 2nd crew over and over until we complete the EE - though that intro more or less is just Treyarch trying to blur the lines of reality between us and the Zombies Storyline.
-
These Maxis entries are written dialogue from the radios in WaW Zombies like in: Der Riese. It is shown in the BO2 Zombies menus because Treyarch's Team Zombies wanted everybody to have an easy way to learn the backstory behind CoD Zombies. It is only a recap - nothing more; at least only so far... It currently pertains to the early story of CoD Zombies and as far as I can tell has not currently been placed in the menus for you to solve some EE. And to the above, BO2 Zombies occurs in the 80's according to Treyarch - at least Green Run does. Nuketown Zombies takes place in 60's according to Treyarch. It happens at the same time as moon. The bus noises are in Nuketown as a cameo at best. As for Die Rise's time - could still be 80's but with Richtofen's aether powers, it's debatable... Cheers - ;)

Die Rise opening cinematic analysis + plot elements
Xperiment 117 replied to Simply Epic's topic in Die Rise
Nice vid. - ever think about taking a look at the coop Die Rise loading screen? I believe Samuel's mysteries will be completely revealed if we figure out what each map's location and story relevance has in relation to the characters and Maxis/Richtofen. On that note - Next map's coop loading screen comic page seems to feature a film reel. Here's to hoping for a Paris map soon  -
This might interest you. You see bottom right of loading screen hinting at next map's loading screen? - Well it's a film reel and maybe a microphone with some rocks around it. Compare it with this image from Treyarch of Kino Der Toten from BO1. Look where I highlighted. Same exact film reel and possible microphone. And the same exact formation and placement of rocks next to the reel. Remember on the BO1 Wii Version - Audio Clip was found in Kino linking BO1 Zombie Storyline to Great Leap Forward. Return to Kino anyone? :ugeek:

I'd like to help you Add me on xbox: Xperiment 117

Matuzz - Look at the image you just posted! The film reel and microphone? is on your picture and looks exactly like the one on the loading screen! Wow. Is it really going to be Kino? - Maybe the radio linking to Great Leap Forward on Kino (Wii Edition) might be a correlation to link back to kino
-
Yeah! Samuel looks like he might be in the general area where the mystery man is too.

WHOA! Good eyes you got there Who could that guy be?
