  1. While this may be true, the similarities between the design of Mob of the Dead and Origins have to indicate that someone or some team specifically had more influence and say in what went into those two maps. with the "quest items" shown when the back button is pressed to the side quest ending the game, to no bank or weapons fridge... plus many more im sure im forgetting. I'm not disputing that the campaign guys help out with aspects of all the zombies stages, but it seems quite obvious to me that there was a different lead crew on Mob and Origins than on the other 3 Not a different lead crew, probably just Jason Blundell. (Exec. producer on both Mob and Origins) he probably pushed the horror-thriller feel to both maps. Taking Zombies in a new and fresh direction for Mob. Did it again for Origins. Approx. 1-2 months after the game is gold, the Campaign Team start production on the next campaign for Treyarch's next title, so it's not like they have that much free time on their hands to start helping out the Zombies Team on DLC. That's where other studios like Raven Software comes (came) in. - Al

    Hi :D

Hello and welcome jbagot! Glad to have you here, I hope you thoroughly enjoy your stay - Heather
  3. It depends on who I'm playing with really. I usually don't use my mic, unless I'm playing with friends or random adults (sorry kiddos) Talking from experience, It's for the better. As 9/10 times I do talk to kids they go from "[high pitched clipping voice] Look guys this is how we need to survive" to "Zomg what's your bra size" in the blink of an eye. - Heather
  4. When it's released for PC. It will be finished one or two weeks after initial release. Our deadline will be around early to mid October. Buried will be done next week. Thanks! We both are currently very busy, that's why Buried's taking so long. Origins will be done much quicker. -- Fourth Update - Russman and Ghost Lady added. - Samantha's Desire (Ending 1) added - Richtofen's Delight (Ending 2) added
  5. Virtual Trading Cards that can now be unlocked via kicking ass in Zombies. These can then be used towards gaining rewards like discounts, DLC, in-game items or when you collect them all, you can craft a special Steam Badge. Mostly cosmetic HD images.
  6. No. Since the Campaign Team does not make Zombies Maps It's clear they went in two different directions with Blops 2 Zombies. You can see the N4 as the 04 spiritual successors, they are supposed to be goofy, funny. Since Blops 1 the 04 have gotten wittier and wittier. So they continued that trend with the N4. By the time the budget got increased, they brought in Jason and a bunch of others from SP to help develop Mob. This time around, they wanted to shake this up a bit and go for the Horror Thriller feel. They wanted to characters to be believable and relatable. Same with Origins.
  7. Nice list, Flammen. I play a lot of TranZit while almost never touching Buried/Die Rise (sue me, right?) This'll come in handy. - Heather
  8. I just checked: They have Trading Cards now! Sweet, sweet, sweet! Can't wait to get my hands on Takeo's ... card. (Stu looks a bit too cute) - Heather
  9. Nothing beats activating BoA in Der Riese on Round 20+
  10. I think they showed the enchanced meteor from Shino just to clarify that the rocks with the new blue-ish design we see in Origins are in fact still carrying the same Element (115) seen in previous maps. Just to avoid any confusion.
  11. First Fallout 3, Mass Effect 3 then Boredom's Creed 3 now Zombies? Why is it so hard these days to finish a trilogy on a high note with a good, satisfying ending? But in all seriousness, I don't mind the ending that much, actually kind of liked it. Only thing that bugs me is the General Execution of the Story throughout Blops 2. They did a terrible job on that.
  12. Greatest Moment? In Shang, snatch the Focusing Stone away from your friends  -insert Maxis laugh here-
  13. Epic Airplane is Epic. Also, throwing people off buildings with the Trample Steam was a lot of fun.
  14. Welcome to the forums. :)
  15. Thank you very much ! -Origins Soundtrack added -Table of Contents added -Lyrics removed
  16. Abracadavre and Paraphony weren't included in the previously released official Zombie Albums. Better late than never I guess. Soundtrack video added.
  17. Soundtrack lovers, rejoice! Treyarch announced today that the Official Soundtrack for Origins is now available for purchase from a variety of digital media retailers. Composed by Brian Tuey, James McCawley and Kevin Sherwood, the Soundtrack includes 30 original compositions. 24 of which were composed for Origins. (the other 6 are remastered versions of songs from previous maps, like 115, Abracadavre etc. etc.) Video 2sI0P4nywvg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2sI0P4nywvg Download Links iTunes Amazon (Click images for shiny enlarged versions)
  18. Definitely the Mob Sidequest conclusion. Awesome story, awesome ending. Origins' close second. Whether you like the cutscene or not, Juicy Story info > Any In-Game Reward anytime.
  19. Nice poll. Very very hard choice. Can't choose between Russman and Sal. I'll go with Sal, just because he is written better. Love his quotes, voice and attitude. Most realistic and best portrayed Zombies character to date.
  20. Tommy Gun and the M27 (Nuketown Z)
  21. Sweet! Loving the hard work you put in your map, some really amazing ideas. It gets better and better. Keep it up!
  22. Mob of the Dead. Followed very closely by Ascension (even if I personally hate that map) Third would be Shangri-La. TranZit's atmoshphere is also nice.
  23. Like Flammen said, it'll take a lot of time and patience (working on a map myself). Look up TheBritResistor His tutorials are from 2011 so you'll have to dig through some Minecraft and other tutorials first but this is the guy I learned all the basics from. As I always recommend, watch some tutorials then download the stuff and try it out for yourself, mess around see how things react etc so you learn it quickly yourself. I haven't seen a Youtuber cover Custom Scripting however, only very basic stuff. Just in case you were wondering.
  24. Upgrade it, get DT2 and it's amazing.
  25. Added Nacht Radio Soundtrack. Added A7X - "Not Ready to Die" / "Shepard of Fire" in Bonus section. Added Johnny cash - Rusty Cage in Bonus section. Added Easter Egg Songs Lyrics. edit Added TranZit Soundtrack.
