  1. I'm not going to say that making it to high rounds is ncessarily a true test of skill, or agree that K/D is a poor test of skill. I will say that the old system for determining whether someone was worth playing with was much more accurate than the new. I honestly didnt look at the rounds in which someone made it to on BO1 as that was a poor factor as most people could just ride on someones a** the whole way. Rather I would look at their kills is relation to the round they survived as that would let me know how much they would contribute to a game. I dont give a dag if the guy has 50 downs as long as he carries his weight in kills. And I'm sorry but in the same regards someone having a high K/D because they completley neglect to attempt to revive someone because they dont wish to potentially go down and lower their precious k/D is just as bad as someone riding my a** in a game. If u wanna play solo go do it, but dont join a team game in which the premise is to work together then forsake anyone who goes down. At least 90% of my downs is in attempt to save someone from dying as I know how much it blows to have to sit through a whole round and just watch. If htat means I may go down so be it but I'm not going to be a d*** and just leave them their so i can keep my k/d up. Before you wish to question my skill I have a 230 k/d overall, no shotguns, and a butt-ton of revives. Also in consideration to the original poster and dark sun, the ranking systemisnt complete BS, but it is ultimatley flawed in regards to how u level up. u call it the LOL dagger because u only need a 70 k/d, WELL THATS WHERE IT'S FLAWED as u dont automatically achive the dagger for achieving such a feat AND THATS WHAT MAKES THE RANKING SYSTEM FLAWED. It's not the ranking system but rather the criteria for it. Some of people do achieve the knife at 70 k/d, but others dont, I didnt achieve the knife till i Had a 140 k/d, before I had even reached that k/d my round from initially playing the game were 30+, my highest solo was 49 on tranzit, any my accuracy, headshots, and overall kills were higher than most people with shotguns(as apparently on ps3 mos people achive shotguns at 170 with a minimum overall kill count of 15,000). That's why teh system is flawed as it gives people ranks at seemingly random points. In the end though I mainly play with friends so id doesn't bother me too much as I dont need to fret when looking for good players. Still I wish the criteria for ranking made more sense than it does currently. And yes you do sound immensly ignorant and boastful stating you never go down or otherwise you should have the shotguns, tanks flying with dragons, raping zombies in the background of your skull.
  2. @Zombieofthedead I understand your concerns with customization changing zombies... but you wouldnt have to prestige or do anything you dont wish to...the only thing prestiging/customization would do is help the individual...it really wouldnt affect your gameplay or others as all forms of persoanlization are just that...not game changers and in the end your fighting zombies not each other...(although playing with randoms you would sometimes think the opposite)so characther customization wouldnt to any high regard imede your experience...all it could do is enhance it...and thats only if you wish for them to...your not penalized for not customizing...
  3. @TheDunbarian Haha Thanks man...its a compilation of ideas from me and several friends so I cant take all the credit, but I feel that personalization, esepcially custom characters, would be a great addition to zombies considering the whole cod concept is playing your way... and I like your idea of challenges, such as multiplayer, where one would have to use certain guns to complete, I feel that would really incite people to experiment with different guns rather than spam the box and toss everything if its not a wonder weapon or ray gun... plus random arse side note: potatoes are awesome haha def not trying to toss me prescious potatoes or cause others to toss theirs so glad I could help... hit me up if your ever down for zombies, gamertag is the same as my username on the forum...   4. Haha...yeah i fig there were several topics with essentially the same concepts and ideas...just fig I'd keep the idea flowing around...hopefully treyarch will take notice of all the hype aroudn zombie classes, prestiges, unlocks ect...
  5. Aight so obviously we cant even level up now in zombies but hear me out. Say they do add some sort of leveling/customization feature within zombies. -I know I'm tired of having to do an entire easter egg simply to have more than 4 perks, so i feel the same way in which they allow you to have more custom classes within multiplayer, I feel they could recipricate with zombies but rather for prestiging one would gain an extra slot for perks rather than an extra custom class. -Also along with the idea of custom classes I feel they could add some simple but definitly fun features to flesh out zombies. For one the same way you can custimize reticle color and symbols within multiplayer one should also be able to do so in zombies, such as choosing the color of a PaP guns bullet/lazer color along with various other features. -Also when entering matches one could customize their gun selection within the game, such as if they allow for PaPing more than once one could potentially have to unlock with zombie credits(simliar to cod credits in multiplayer) to purchase the second, third, etc of a guns PaP versoins giving players something more to shoot for in zombies and unlock. -Also one should be able to choose what specifications they get after PaPing, such as how some guns get sights, others get dual wielding, others get higher ammo capacity, one should be able to choose which changes occur on a gun...and for every time they prestige along with the extra perk slot they recieve an extra customization feature on their gun. -Along with gun feature selections one should be able to choose what wonder-weapon they want, say instead of certain maps having certain weapons, every map could have any weapon, and you the player get to choose which gun you would like to be available in the box for you...that way I could be shooting for the scavenger, while someone else shoots for the thundergun considering some people simply have their own preference on wonder-weapons(and this is just hopeful wishing but maybe allow for more than one wonder-weapon when their are more than 5 players in a match, considering there will be an 8 player mode) and once someone gets their wonder-weapon then as normal the wonder weapon is exculded from the box that way theres not 8 wonder-weapons getting sprayed like wild fire on the map. -Also like perks in multiplayer(not zombies) which you start a game with, one should be able to do the same for zombies, the perk-a-colas would still be on the map, but one could go into a game with traits rather than perks, such as having a higher probability of getting a good weapon in the mystery box(obviously "good weapon" is relative) or having a higher probability of getting max ammos, firesales, whichever. -And finally, and this is somewhat unrelated to zombies but could be integrated as well, but whenever there is an opportunity as obviously this game is way too close to release, maybe their could be a system similar to halo or ranbow six vegas in which one could actually customize the look/aesthetics of their character along with the class rather than a simple preset after choosing a perk or gun class. Finally thank you sooo much for zombies and keep up the great work.

  7. Obviously the Bioshock pistol is simply an example... I actually prefer the pistol within that game minus the large integrated barrel... :D

  9. Hey I was wondering how strong people would like to see indivdual and unique skins for PaP guns. After having played zombies excessivley when first introduced, I became somewhat dissapointed that all the guns had the same random future/digital camo. I say new skins rather than camos as I like to see actual new visual features on the guns (Almost simlar to Bioshock 1, as whenever you upgraded a gun, even if it was simply overall strength, it would have a new appearance to it that made a favorable fresh feeling to the gun). Also I feel this would be relativley simple to do as they wouldnt need each gun's new look to somehow be incorporated to its actual function(though that would be interesting) but simply be for aesthetic reasons so too much work wouldnt have to be dished out. Obviously I'm simply nit-picking as this wouldnt greatly alter the experience of CODz but I feel it would be a nice new addition, along with having people use a larger variety of weapons considering aesthetics often works into the psychology of picking something as well as functionality. Just curious is all :D
