  1. I love Max Brooks, glad this was made into a movie. Bring on the super hoardes!
  2. If you have an equation or a partial equation, post it.
  3. Seriously? How is it fact if it is indeed lost in some other way? I'll give you this, I do believe I partially revived the guy who I lost it on. But this is far from confirmed or fact as you put it. I have had it for so long that I could of partially revived numerous people before losing it. It could still be a low threshold in revive distance which I outlined above, or something completely different.
  4. Get your kill/down up. It's actually kinda low for knife. From what I've seen most people with shotguns have over a 200 k/d.
  5. You just have to go Evel Knievel style and jump that sh@t
  6. I'll say it again, emping quick revive at critical times in a match can get you the win. This is especially effective against the "revive beast" type of player. Even if they catch on to losing QR, which won't always happen, it allows you to isolate them making the rest of the round quite risky for them. If they happen to make it through the round, it puts their team at a disadvantage considering their teammates lost everything.
  7. Also the revive upgrade is "more" persistent then the other upgrades, like head popper, and barriers. I got the revive upgrade shortly after the game came out and didn't lose it even once until the other night. Even though I had 30 revives at the moment I lost it. The loss trigger appears to be letting a certain number of teammates die. In my case we were all at town on round 22, and everyone kept going down and I kept running wildly around reviving them. Things got too chaotic and one guy died. I had just picked someone else up (revive active) and was picking him up again when I noticed revive was not active anymore. I am unsure if it is effected if you are in a completely different area than the downed teammate (making reviving impossible). I had many games where I ran the tunnel and let randoms do their own thing and many many times they would die. Revive was never effected. So either the trigger has a very high threshold, where a large number of teammates need to die. Or it is a smaller threshold where it only counts if you are in "range" to make the revive. I would prefer the latter. And I may as well point out that I obtained my revive at 17, and they all have to be on the same teammate.
  8. Not checkmate, neither king is even in check. Only thing to note about this arrangement is that it's a random endgame scenario, so random in fact, the pieces appear to be placed at...random! Also, we are missing pieces. Look at the pieces that have been taken together with whats on the board. The rooks are missing as well as a number of pawns and some other pieces as well. Lastly, the white pawn that made it to black's back rank should be a queen (for those of you that don't play chess, when you get a pawn all the way to the other side of the board you can exchange it for a piece you lost). White wins this game btw unless they are complete crap.
  9. I want a map so big that I never find the edge of it. I want a ZOMBIE WORLD!
  10. EMPing zombies will put them in "sleep mode" and they will either stay still or move very slowly, allowing easy mid-round box hits. Sprinting, getting too close, or shooting/nades will wake them up. EMPs make powerups disappear and can deactivate perk machines, box, and PaP. So be careful where you throw them. I suggest anyone looking for lots of little tips and tricks watches Tom's quicktips videos. They are great! :)
  11. It wasn't that dramatic, you went from Skull (rank 3) to Skull w/ knife (Rank 4). So you only jumped 1 rank, as you would expect from ranking up. Remember blue eyes and tallies only judge activity and have no bearing on the base emblem.
  12. The ray gun does deal splash damage to you. Getting trapped by a zombie and spraying the ray gun will get you downed almost as quickly as the mustang and sally.
  13. Look at the title screens when entering a game. Green Run is the location or all encompassing map, TranZit appears only on the gamemode select screen. Calling TranZit the map is like calling Grief or Survival a map.
  14. Not to mention it has the new crew. So we have: New Crew Buildables Power Switch ...These things were exclusive to Tranzit mode first time around. That being said it doesn't have to be called Tranzit or exactly the same. Could be a giant map only traversable by foot. Gonna be awesome no matter what though .
  15. Welcome to the site, I hope you enjoy your stay! I'm perma-banned from the Cod forums for god knows what, they didn't tell me. They're so touchy over there :D
  16. Don't have Nuketown otherwise I would take a look, only really familar with kings pawn, queens pawn, and queens gambit opening strategies.
  17. Can you link the video please? My theater mode is all screwy it says the most viewed video has 2 views
  18. Well I haven't done it yet, not by choice though, multiple times had a timeout or some other rubbish happen on the last step. Add me on live and we'll get it done once die rise comes out: baldage
  19. This gamemode could be either spectacular or a total failure. Only the gameplay and flow will decide this imo, so I'll hold all judgement until played. On the plus side, this is playable at the Diner. I wonder if the diner will also open up as a survival and grief map?
  20. This was taken off the Call of Duty Website (http://community.callofduty.com/community/call_of_duty/english/black_ops_2/blog/2013/01/08/revolution-dlc-map-pack-announced): Doesn't confirm anything, but I'd say chances are good we'll see some new type of super weapon.
  21. The loss of flopper however greatly lessens the values of these weapons. I've never been too big a fan of the ray gun, but the m&s was easily my favorite weapon in blops. However, its greatest asset was its clearing capabilities. With that gone, you are relying on it to kill hoardes, which is not its strongest point, however nml got us used to the idea. Ammo quickly becomes scarce in later rounds and you cannot spin the box for a a new m&s. Also using m&s plus any machine gun, means you have no clearing weapon, and thus no way to get out of trouble once cornered. It is now taking up a weapon slot but has lost its original purpose. For these reasons, I am tempted to put the voice of justice (pap'd executioner) over m&s. It is a 1 shot clear into the 30's. It has no splash damage. Can be spun from the box at will. And it runs at pistol speed. Not to mention that it gives a generous amount of ammo, so using it only as a clear weapon means you will hardly ever need to spin the box for it once obtained. The only reason I wouldn't rank the voice of justice over the m&s is purely for reasons of nostalgia and that m&s are generally more fun.
  22. I'd consider it a glitch. Considering how you achieve it: glitching out the worktable; i'd say it is an untended use of the turbine. They are not meant to be permanent barriers or power sources.
  23. Use the search function, this is common knowledge.
  24. I loved the betties on Verruckt. When that terrible word "BREACH!!!" was sounded we'd all run for our stockpile of 100s of betties. ahhh nostaglic memories.
