If this is a Bio Dome, then the perk is... "When you dive to the prone, it's gonna shake you to the bone..." Rumor the element is said to come form to be where sam was trapped. That voices are also form here as well so they are linked. My Idea I think the voices sent the element to earth and take totally control. They used Edward to do their dirty work and make him insane. The voice been planning to take over the world for along time. I don't know what or who the voices are but if possible can you tell me. Then I can fill in more information about the voices. That's what I think. The storyline itself just reminds me of Biblical Apocalypse. I'd say it's either Vril-Ya or Satan himself that wants the universe to be doomed.

Looks like they have different plans for the Rising Sun facility.

Man, I thought you were referring to me. xD

I believe these are gamemode emblems, such as 4v4, NML mode, Classic, etc. It seems to be pretty logical, the only better answer is prestige emblems.

The war does not relate to zombies. The Vril does, and this is the main plot in Zombies now. What I think is that you're right with the power theory - the thing that crashes definitely has something to do with power. The Vril-Ya are coming? Has anyone ever wondered how did 115 get to the meteors? This element can only be created in laboratories - it doesn't occur naturally. If this is a Bio Dome, then the perk is... "When you dive to the prone, it's gonna shake you to the bone..."

You're just forcing yourselves to believe that these two icons are perks. But you're not going a good job at forcing others to believe it.

Added sound analysis that IMO is pretty good. Please, please, please state your opinions and theories.

So I have looked closely at the picture that TARC posted with a sound of something activating or spawning or crashing. I already have a theory about it, but, let's first see the picture: (Btw, keep in mind this is just a crazy theory... And sorry for my poor Paint/investigating skills xD) What I can see in the picture and what I can hear is that someone tried turning on the power (not necessarily Griffin Station), and a meteor hit the Bio Dome. I believe that on Moon there are multiple bases, as mentioned in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=103&t=21123 So basically someone is on one of the stations and tries to activate the power. Now the problem is - there is no sound in the vacuum, and since the power is not on - there probably is no oxygen... Maybe there are multiple switches, that activate power in certain areas? That's how we hear what happened? The picture itself looks like it's the place after meteor crashing - the whole place is ruined and empty. EDIT: I have listened to the sounds a few times... And from 0:00 to 0:22 we can clearly hear that something is activating, powering up - that's definitely the "power on" sound. However, later on this sound cannot be heard clearly, because another sound starts playing... It's an object falling. You can even hear the friction when it falls down... But there is no friction in vacuum, right? At 0:28 the object is really close, it sounds a little bit like something burning very rapidly, kind of like... Space shuttle. You know, when they set off Earth, the friction that is created by our atmosphere is nearly burning the shuttle... Rub your hands. Feel the heat? Exactly. At 0:30 the object is directly above the roof, the sound we can hear for a short amount of time is the sound of the object being burned by the friction. Few seconds later - BANG! It hits something... Sound similar to when the Astronaut Zombie hits you. This is why I think that this unidentified object hits the roof of the Bio Dome - because I would expect it to make such noise. And then... It settles down. It stopped moving. There is no friction sound, the object is probably bouncing off the roof or has breached in. The sound echoes and then we hear a short noise that I am unsure of, which is then quietly echoed again. Then...? End of transmission. Please also note that there is no outro, like in other BO2 videos. Does that mean the Zombie game will be separated?
-
"Power on" can be a metaphor. Remember that Syndicate did meet the creators, and talked with them. I would not be surprised if he was told to make such video and to create such theory by them! However, the picture looks like a destroyed Bio Dome, the rocks and especially the doors with the light in the background. The sound could be something spawning, activating or crashing. I like to think that this is indeed a Bio Dome, because of the picture and the fact that you can hear and object banging onto the roof of the Bio Dome. I hope we come back to the Moon in BO2, this map is seriously depressing and unfinished, so they should compensate that.

Zombies release countdown and DLC news.
Verrückt replied to punkrockzombie's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I think the emblems are for gamemode's. You know, classic, NML, 4v4, etc. I knows it sounds a little... Weird, but what else does not, in this case? In BO multiplayer you have similar system of design - the shape of the emblem is the same, the thing "inside" it changes. In BO, zombie mode has it's own emblem, maybe they will use this one as for one gamemode, and the other 2 (or more) for other game modes. -
After reading the comments I don't even need to argue on that, I can clearly see you're just lost in your own theory. Vrill is nothing imaginable, nothing you can see nor touch. It's the power that you can master, not put in your pocket.

Does Tom Syndicate know something???
Verrückt replied to bbobs2's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I am more than sure that he and DalekJD know something important, but they are not allowed to tell it to the community, not yet. Maybe we need to find out ourselves? I mean, Tom is not a person who would try to lie to his fans. If he knows something and tries to indicate it to us, he's not gonna lie about anything. EDIT: Btw, his last name is Cassell. -
It's Omicron. About the excavators - Richtofen did not visit Eagle's Nest for a long time, who knows, maybe he did not see many of these features that were added. I am pretty sure if he knew that excavators malfunction and breach the base, he could do something about it... Or at least warn others. From his quotes I'd say he's not too sure about excavators. But, do not think I am coming up with a theory, it's just my crazy thougths. I would not say these numbers are random. I don't even know if they're important; throughout the Black Ops campaign, multiplayer and zombies we have numbers. I see what your point is with Alpha, Beta, and Gamma, but we do not know much about excavators, and I would not say we know much about the base, so it's hard to come up with a good point in a discussion about it. If you think that the station is massive, (and I party agree with you on that, there are many tunnels that zombie breach from) then the theory of building numbers makes even more sense. Obviously parts of the station are not in use, so PES and the computers do not mention them at all - nothing happens here, why would we bother about them? Maybe in BO2 we will move on to somewhere else on Moon, maybe this will explain a lot. Yup, I also can't see why would 115 be in a circle, but where is it shown that the meteors are making a circle? I cannot think of anything that would give such a great glow to be visible so far away, and the strength of the light that we see coming from Moon can mean that the 5 objects do not need to be in a circle, because the actual object cannot be observed since the glow, so we cannot find it's actual position. I am pretty sure that the station is built - radios explain that. Considering the fact that Samantha already controls zombies during Der Riese... Yes, the station is definitely there. Please keep in mind that Eagle's nest was being constructed during the time Richtofen still worked with Maxis, and it was already used when Maxis got teleported with Sam and Fluffy. And we know that Der Riese takes place after this incident, so... There is no way story in Der Riese takes place before Griffin station is built. But besides this, I wonder about thing... Ununpentium is a synthetic element. This means it is a man made element. How the hell did it got into the meteors. I think the zombie storyline is comparable to the universe. What we see is a very very tiny bit of what it actually is.

Musical Easter egg discussion!
Verrückt replied to Electric Jesus's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I'd like to see Elena... At the final map. Or as a bonus... But with such a turn in the story, I think Avenged Sevenfold would work well on those new maps. I'd hope that when Elena would finally come with Kevin's tune, the sh...pleeens would go down! -
The numbers of tunnels do not need to indicate that there is more tunnels. Laboratories has also a number, if you play on the map you'll see it on the wall. It may just be a specific number for that part of building, and since there are two tunnels, they call out the building number as well so people don't mistake two. It would be quite hard to recognize where not to go, when it would just say "Warning, massive decompression in Tunnel". That's why they would add a building number to it.

Solo 35, I was set up for like a 60's but one asshole kept asking me to help him with EE, which ended up making me suicide on 35, join his lobby and wait for him 15 minutes, listening to him talking in french to his guys, and then leaving the lobby. I was so mad. As of co-op, I get to play with idiots who usually follow at the end of the round to kill crawlers, don't share hacker/box or break the windows wherever they can. Round 17, but I had to go on 16, left my ps3 on with the game, and a guy managed to pull out two rounds without me, then he suicided.

Just wanted to say that it is probably 115 that we see on Moon in Der Riese, Gryffin station is too small to be seen from Earth's surface. And it does not have 5 glowing areas there, only places seen from outside is the Receiving Bay, Bio Dome and the teleporter area.

How can I look into the textures of cod WAW zombies? I want to convert the sky texture from Der Riese into a normal png file or something like that. Is it even possible? What programs can I use?

The theory is good, but after Shangri-La Edward wanted to teleport to Moon, not to get to Area 51. And also, when you begin in No Man's Land, you can clearly hear that he knows where he is, but also does not know why he is there. I like the explanation of Shangri-La being a big biome. It is seriously a very misterious map. It seems that the temples travel around the world/solar system through tornado's, or something else we have missed. We also know that Shangri-La itself might be changing locations sometimes, but it is, as well, just a theory.
-
Looks very interesting but why would Shangri-La and Area51 be connected, when we have not seen any american equipment there, any technology brought to this place? And why would the mountains be textured as Mars mountains, but located on Earth? Oh, and I love the art you quoted here. Masterpiece.

I'd say it reminds me of one guy that tried to explain why religions are wrong, and tried to present a better model of looking at what happens after death, which was basically that: Humans are souls, with a physical cover - our body. We don't remember anything from the times before we went to this body, but we come back there and get information and memories back after death. Our souls change bodies everytime one body dies, to get more experience, more memories, to become stronger and closer to the Source - which is God. What makes me think that these are similar ideas is that we know that souls of zombies that are killed by us, travel to Aether - to Richtofen. It seems like the souls are the fuel for him, or that the souls want to join him - because he is the Source. Because he is in control of everything, and the soul's destiny is to join the Source. Does this mean that Richtofen, or rather the voices, who are either Vril-Ya, or Lucipher himself (I have read something like: "Teddy is his name, but he has lots of names and faces". Which fits to the Satan/Lucipher because it is said that he has 666 heads and 666 names for each one. Teddy was presented as a teenager. Sounds familiar?) are going to control the zombies? No, what I think sometimes is that it is devil himself controlling Richtofen. Why? Because, the Bible says that Antichrist will start the Apocalypse. Does that mean that Richtofen is the Antichrist? We have our Apocalypse - the Earth is destroyed. What is next?
-
Maybe just a result of the teleportation, it could make the ground that people teleport to shake a little.

As you can see on the loading screen, the sky is red but there is a small blue area. This could mean there is an atmosphere in the place they are right now. What I would predict is that Eclipse takes place on Earth, whereas the non-Eclipse Shangri-La takes place on Mars. However this still doesn't explain much since we don't know what eclipses the sun, so we can't be sure of the location. If they are indeed on Mars, it is possible that they're in a big Bio Dome which has gravity and oxygen for plants and animals to survive. If they are somewhere else in space, we can make up so many theories and yet we will not be satisfied with them. I think that if TARC would like to have a mountain in the background of a map, they would use or create a more "Earth" mountain. Also, the texture is called mars, so that means they don't want us to look for S-L on Earth. I see no reason why they would use a Mars mountain if Shangri-La was not there.
