  1. Yeah or tombstone... I came up with a detailed idea for one called "Blader-Aid," and my good friend Tankeo has had "Knife-aid" as an idea for a while. The idea of a knife enhancing perk is pretty popular. However mainly this would be used to increase the effectiveness of the Bowie knife / sickle into the early teen rounds. However the addition of galva knuckles accomplishes this essentially, but with a few drawbacks. These include the fact that must concepts of this perk involve increased speed and distance, etc. however knuckles achieve neither of these to a noticeably better degree than the standard knife. So yeah. It's a great idea but now it isn't really practical, as using it and galvaknuckles makes the pair obscenely overpowered. Like, one hit kill with ballistic knife like speed into the late teens. Here are some original ideas of mine. Atomic Tonic: upon going down a massive explosion decimates all of the zombies around you, clearing the path for potential revivers. In solo this will help ensure a quick and safe getaway when paired with quick revive or who's who. Also increases the effectiveness of any splash damage inflicting weapon, including explosives and wonder weapons. Orange / red color scheme, and its logo is of a cartoony looking explosion. Derailment Dew: designed specifically for we train strategy enthusiasts. Creates massive penetration of bullets which allows automatic weapons to decimate a crowd of zombies with fewer shots. Also increases multipliers by 2X for every zombie you hit through another zombie. For example you score a headshot through 2 zombies with a sniper, which gives you a 2X (normal multiplier) plus a 4X multiplier for the 2 zombies, effectively dealing 8X damage. However if you strike it in the abdomen (1X multiplier in other words no bonus damage) it has no effect, encouraging headshots. Also any leg shot or limb shot that deals less than 100% damage per shot is raised to 100.
  2. Ok buddy, you've had your fair share of berrating misty's alleged "skanky-ness" since as long as I can remember your name here. Enough is enough. The line has officially been drawn. As for the actual topic at hand, I have only encountered this once. They stopped after the second round or so. I don't know how to help you stop this directly other than to say that you should report them mercilessly. Spare the rod; spoil the child.
  3. Please explain, I almost always camp and have never felt obligated to donkey off rounds into a zombie's chest. As to the OP I usually get DT2 as my first or second depending on Juggs availability, it will actually save you a lot of ammo if you aim for their heads even into the high 20's. Well for someone as self-confident as you in their camping abilities it isn't exactly a problem, but for someone who hardly ever camps and has little experience doing so, or someone who lacks zombie's strategy experience in general, they tend to panic and spray whenever the occasional cluster ends up right in your face. Someone as experienced as you would have no problem picking them off, but anyone less skilled might not be so level-headed. So... Good for you. And though the above was portrayed as Hypothetical, to be perfectly honest it applies to me 100%. The only personal map strategy (hehe, PMS) I use that involves camping at all is der riese, and I for one have definitely entered adrenaline mode and sprayed all over the catwalk when a horde backed me onto a corner. So yeah, I'm a camping noob. However I'm more than proficient at the exquisite art if the zombie train. So yeah as per usual I started rambling, so sorry. TL;DR: someone less experienced than you might while you personally might not.
  4. Jolteon has been theorizing about Parisian catacombs for a while. Even I made an asylum thread supporting the idea that Paris might be a map. It is also Widely believed that Paris was going to be a map, but that devs decided to end black ops with more of a bang (no pun intended) with moon. this has been supported through the obvious hint that the file name for the map moon is literally "Paris." so we can pretty much say with certainty that they DID plan to put us in Paris. The idea that treyarch might revisit this idea is probably the MAIN idea that supports people's belief in the idea of a Paris / Parisian catacombs map in the future. And I can't agree more.
  5. Has anyone entertained the possibility that they plan on adding several new wall weapons with every DLC as initiative to buy them, for this very reason? You not only pay for the normal new features with DLC (new map and wonder weapon) but for the first time an arsenal of kick-ass new normal weapons. As has been stated this is what lots of us wanted after the initial disappointment (I personally wasn't disappointed at all but speaking for others) of several returning weapons instead of new ones. It creates another selling point. In not betraying treyarch; I was going to buy all the DLC anyway (season pass woot woot) and now I get even MORE STUFF! YAY STUFF! Those are my thoughts.
  6. Here is my advice. Firstly get perma-jug. That will help you out when I explain in a sec. I suggest you take others' advice about mastering some trains. however if you choose to continue camping... For a player like me who runs trains I could honestly buy it before juggernog. If for example it is right next to the power switch in die rise and jug is nowhere to be found I will go ahead and buy it. then I will have a decent weapon (PDW or AN as per my strategy) which can one hit kill to the head. Then even if I'm backed into a corner (as per YOUR camping strategy) they can't touch me. Then once you get jug you're set. What I mean is that you should seriously buy it as soon as possible. Now, if you are in a situation where it is just as easy to buy one or the other I would suggest you buy jug. If you are uncertain in your ability to survive without jug then prioritize it. If you have perma jug like I said then you should have no problem choosing between the two. Go ahead and reach for the root beer shelf. As for your ammo dilemma, there is no reason why it should be depleting ammo so much more quickly. Using a train strategy with a PDW unupgraded on round 15-20 with double tap can clear an entire train of 24 zombies with one magazine. True story. With camping you would feel obligated to go for a three or four round burst to the chest / head, which would almost double the average amount of bullets per kill compared to camping. So yeah. Trains = great Double-tap II = awesome Trains + Double-tap II = epic winning
  7. Actually you can get more than 7 perks on several maps, including shangri-la, call of the dead, and moon. Double tap Revive Jugg Speed Deadshot Mule kick Flopper Stamin-up That's 8.
  8. I came up with this idea a while back. Good times. One of my proudest moments. http://callofdutyzombies.com/forum/view ... 1&p=231474 And this is what I added to it... In retrospect points would be good for this mode. I don't know why I chose to remove them. I guess all you can really buy are perks...
  9. For those who don't know what a binomial nomenclature is... Ok so we know that technically maps in black ops 2 have a name and a mode. However both main-line zombies maps featured for the game so far only have one "mode" available. This leads me to believe that for these maps (and likely any other DLC maps) the map name and mode is simply a form of binomial nomenclature. Think of it this way. Look at the map names. Green run's name tells us that the map's location is in Hanford Washington. Great Leap Forward's name tells us that it takes place in China (although we already knew that thanks to a few resident masterminds.) now look at the maps' "Modes." TranZit implies a form of public transportation used to travel around the map. Die Rise is a play on of Highrise, and the idea of rising in a skyscraper implies the use of lifts or elevators. Anyway, what I mean is that any map's binomial nomenclature (map name / mode) are hints towards their location and mode of "TranZportation" respectively. Just keep your eyes peeled for it with future DLC.
  10. First strike + escalation + annihilation + Rezzurection = FEAR Revolution + Orientation + ??? = RO_ _. How about... ROPE? I love rope.
  11. A portal gun It would work but I don't know how, would probably be the same as a Gersch Device....but What if... You shoot a zombie with it, the zombie is sucked in to this minature black hole, then pulses and damages zombies around it? first love your sig pic and next the idea of a Portal Gun is an ok but i would like to give an update you said the g. device so maybe called the consintrated gersch transportation device where you shoot it to a location and you go there and use it as a buildable slot requires 115(to boost the strength, gersch device,2 nav card tables built and working (so on next dlc) and pressure device and lastly a weapon to discard It could be used avaliable if you build it and you have to shoot it at every tower to make a gigantic portal to transport our favorite team back give me feedback on my extention please I actually made an extremely in-depth idea for a portal gun on this thread. I think it is on page five... I like the idea that you could use it for an Easter egg. Also the idea you have for building it is awesome. I was going to say that it doesn't make sense to build such a complex weapon out of random scraps, but then I realized that we do that all the time in black ops 2.
  12. I personally believe this is fake, but I thank undead for not locking it down. If there were an Atlantis map, we all know what they'd try to do. Incorporate something like the PES allowing us to play under water. Essentially it would recreate the limited mobility and low-gravity sensations of moon, but with less visibility. I for one dislike that idea, and think lots would agree that it would be too tedious to go from place to place in that environment. (tranzit fog + moon zero-G = unhappy fans.) I doubt treyarch would risk something like that ater tranzit's response. The idea of "ascension" IS prevalent in zombies, but enough so that two consecutive maps can have nearly identical names? Lolnope.
  13. Wow, you were in a hurry. This is a pretty cool idea! Plus I should mention that both black ops and WaW had "triple crown" maps. These are areas based in multiplayer, zombie's, and campaign modes. For example, the baikonir cosmodrome was featured in launch, ascension, and executive order. Since we haven't had a zombies map yet based on either multiplaet or campaign, an idea like this might not be entirely impossible. I don't like how distracting the water would be, and how it can kill you like that. If anything it should be like the swamps in shi no numa, slowing you down do zombies get you more easily. If it could just kill you nobody would ever go there. And forcing people to go there by putting perks there would just make the map too hard. I say nerf the floods a bit. But yeah, I do love this Idea!
  14. Well my idea is that since the zombies are essentially an empty shell put to work, they obviously lack the cognitive ability to use weapons or tools in their endless hunt of human prey. So the only way they know how to attack is by swinging their arms wildly and biting, two of the most basic offensive functions for any animal. Anyone with a pet will know they bite when attacking. Now ask this: is your adorable little kitty-cat hungry for human flesh? Nope. It's an animal instinct. Since zombies are essentially animals that makes sense. Also crawlers are genetically engineered in order to maximize effectiveness of these two main offensive powers, as that is all their primitive minds are capable of. This makes sense when you see their obviously intentional massive claws and gaping mouths full of countless razor sharp teeth. So yeah. I personally believe they don't actually eat the humans. Biting them just happens to be a naturally effective way of killing them. No theory is final though, so I thank your contributions and by no means declare them to be false. This is just what makes sense to me.
  15. I decided to do some thinking about the actual physiology of zombies, and made an interesting discovery regarding their "Function." Before we decide what EXACTLY a zombie is, we must first look at the big picture. A zombie is a dead humans brought back to "life," or at least an active state of being. However they are surely not "living" dead, at least not in that crude sense. Let's move on to some specific senses, shall we? so, what do we have here? An organism capable of surviving nearly any conditions, which requires no food, water, nor air to survive. they take in no energy, and yet carry out functions such as running and crawling for an unlimited amount of time. How? They can because they're puppets. The master of the zombies (currently richtofen) uses his power to manipulate them as puppets. They have no instincts to carry out basic life functions. They carry out one function and one function only: kill whomever the master wants them to. They are just minions. Empty shells made to work like a computer, capable of running a single program with no alterations continuously. UNLESS they are not being directly influenced. When left alone they act like normal primitive animal predators. That's all I really have to say. I just wanted to show to the best of my ability exactly how they are puppets, and how they aren't really "living" dead at all. That's all.
  16. No offense but I find it depressing when the term is so widely used, people assume they are abbreviating it by simply saying "training." I call it training, and I can say with 72% confidence that I have no intention whatsoever of raping any zombie(s). but seriously. Ew.
  17. The main thing that screams plague is the first line "Xenopsylla Cheopis MDCLXV." however, when I first heard the song I didn't know what X. Cheopis meant. I knew that MDCLXV translated to 1665 but I didn't know that year's significance. Anyway, so when I heard the song for the first time with no idea of plague in my mind, this was my understanding iLife the song. And who knows, maybe this still holds substance. We all fall down: We ALL literally fall down (dead), in other words total apocalypse. It will end in flashes: literal flashes of light from Nuclear weapon detonation We will choke on ashes: nuclear blasts will reduce everything to ashes. Also this is supported by some of the last few lines Until it crashes And the atom smashes That was just my first impression. Amazing thread by the way.
  18. No problem. The other day I was using engineer + black hat on nuketown 2025 headquarters. The HQ was inside one of the buildings and I hacked a bouncing Betty through a wall next to the HQ, scoring a delicious triple kill.
  19. Hey guys. just bringing you an analysis of some of the wonder weapons, looking specifically at their maximum killing potential, which is the highest number of kills you could possibly get with that weapon with full ammo. Alright. So now that the numbers have been worked out, here is my logical list of these weapons in order from most to least powerful based on maximum killing potential. #6: Wunderwaffe DG-2 #5: Thindergun #4: Wave Gun / Zap Guns #3: Scavenger #2: 31-79 JGb215 #1: Sliquifier Ok guys, as you will have noticed, I left out 2 types of weapons: grenades and weapons whose damage is affected by round number. I chose to save them for last as they are potential... Complications. I'll start with grenades. Note: all wonder-weapon grenades have 3 max grenades held at a time. Based on these analyses, here is the order of the special grenade wonder weapons in order from most to least helpful. #4: Q.E.D. #3: Maytroshka Dolls #2: Cymbal Monkeys #1: Gersch Device Ok, so, on to the other two. I can't really compare them to each other since they aren't the same type of weapon at all. As they do not have Infinite damage, I will use a nice middle-low round to show their damage. I am therefore basing the following on their effectiveness against approximately level 20 zombies. So... Yeah. Those last two may not be 100% accurate, but it still gives a decent perspective to New players on their effectiveness. Well, yeah! That's my guide for all of your wonder-weapony needs. Feedback, comments, suggestions are welcomed greatly.
  20. I'd just like to point out that Kevin Sherwood mentioned us in the description of his We All Fall Down YouTube video. "Fan made video analysis. Join in at Callofdutyzombies.com." Just to let you guys know. Not only treyarch are acknowledging our awesomeness but their sound department as well. We're kinda a big deal.
  21. After playing many rounds of turned I change my initial answer. I think turned is fun. The problem is how quickly it moves. For example ten seconds as a human would be considered an impressive feat. The zombies should be a bit slower to make it flow less rapidly. It's just too damn abrupt. OH HAY! I'M A HUMAN!! *white flash* *flips table*
  22. Pros: It actually took me multiple games to wrap my head around the layout Amazing wonderweapon (*amazing*) awesome design (MC escher) New guns (pdw, an94) Who's who (essentially a more well-balanced tombstone) New buildables that are actually not useless (trampo-steam is the most useful thing ever) A boss that is actually hard (hence the name boss) and not just a free Max ammo It's actually hard Perk bottles make a return Forgot to mention that boss is round-based (hellz to the yeah) Pack a punch that you have to find but once you find it it's easy to access SOMEBODY GRAB SOME OINTMENT! (Quotes get me every time) *wipes away tear* We All fall down High rounds aren't handed to you on a silver platter We all fall down again You can get knuckles without sacrificing a part You rely more heavily on teammates It is tight like Verrückt but with a few nice training spots. a perfectly balanced map. No denziens (they weren't that bad but I don't like ANY area specific enemies) No Flopper (admit it; it was a crutch) Opening cutscene of excellence PDW PAP'd is better than what I could hope to Geri from the box. New STRONG guns. The list goes on but my mind is a little strained right now. Cons: ......... I got nothin'.
  23. Just the attachments.
  24. What if I'm secretly the batman? I mean, think about it! You've never seen me and batman in the same room at the same time, have you? Based on that logic you might as well say that Samuel is really Nikolai, or takeo. And just because you can't disprove something doesn't mean it's true. I think it's a beat idea but when you think about it it really doesn't make sense. They honestly don't look the same, and they sound different too. He has a totally different personality too. He shows no sign of any knowledge of anything related to Dempsey. You could argue that tank changed his look / voice / personality in order to "start over," but as I said you could then argue that about anybody. For all we know Samuel could be Samantha in an android shell body. Sorry but I just don't think so. But as of now I can't be sure whether or not Misty is really Takeo....
  25. i played one game, and it was marginally fun. Being that the match is timed, i really only see myself playing it as a time waster waiting for friends to get on and stuff like that... it really doesnt even mimic the original gameplay of zombies much at all since the zombie characters are so fast... its just a side game basically nothing more nothing less That's like saying you don't like wager matches because they aren't like normal multiplayer matches. Of course not. That's the point. And they're awesome. Likewise, turned Is a breath of fresh air. To me it is more intense and quick than grief or survival. Essentially it's a wager match in zombies, and I personally think its awesome. But take no offense; this is my personal opinion.
