  1. I'm not planning on ranting here so I'll just keep this concise. Zombies: I love it to the fullest. I expected survival to be the main focal point and the other modes just like the DOA of black ops 2. However, I play tranzit loads, more than survival, but I honestly like grief WAAAAAAY more than I thought I would. Maybe it's because I'm a natural troll artist, or I'm just a big deal in general, but I have won all but 1 games of grief. I give zombies a 9.5/10. Campaign: I played it through twice and can tell you from an objective viewpoint that it is the best campaign so far. I got stuck in a few places where the placement of checkpoints made it so every time I spawned I was instantly screwed, but this was only once or twice. 9/10. Multiplayer: multiplayer has been revamped and is one of the best yet IMO. The scorestreaks are genius. Since demo is my favorite game mode I can plant and guard a site and get only like 2 kills, run and have it detonate, and BAM! I already have dragonfire. Genius. I have noticed some dreadful issues with spawning though, primarily spawning two feet from an enemy and stuff like that. I give it 8/10. Overall: 9/10. I expect it will be 10/10 after the major bug fixes and the first DLC. But still, I love this game to the fullest. I say go for it.
  2. @Zanders see, in your original post on this thread, you listed several aspects of the game that you viewed as game-breakers. However, these elements can all be summarized in one phrase: "This makes the game more challenging!" looking at what dunby (resident über-boss) said, this is exactly what hardcore zombie's fans need and want. Looking at your posted rounds of over 50 on every map, you seem to be a hardcore fan yourself. So how is this a problem? Just saying.
  3. He can also spawn on the bus (0.0) Like Liam said, It is a matter of starting a round during a storm. Haven't you noticed he always comes at the start if a round?
  4. Quite. viewtopic.php?f=103&t=23774 This was one of my first theories. I feel so accomplished. Double-decker busses? My life has no meaning. No meaning whatsoever, until I slay undead on a double decker bus. Please treyarch, fortune sake of my soul, send us to Paris. We know you wanted to. Do it. Please? For me? And the other millions of fans? Pleeeeeaaase?? Simply the idea of fighting through a massive demolished oasis, AND THE CATACOMBS (DJ is a boss by the way) would be schweet. I want to go to there. All these feels...
  5. Seems legit. +1 THE AMOUNT OF INDISPUTABLE LEGITIMACY IN THIS POST IS TOO DAMN HIGH!! But seriously, you don't have to be such a downer about the game Zander. Also our own personal levels of skill are irrelevant to our understanding of why or why not the game is good. We "low round players" understand just as much *cough* *coughmorecough* *cough* as you do about how gameplay styles shift in the late rounds. My opinion is... "How can a wonder weapon with infinite ammo and unlimited training possibilities on the most ambitious map yet be disappointing?" to me it isn't. Someone made a great point earlier about why flopper wasn't included, and they mentioned that the fire and explosion formula keeps you on your toes and forces you to play to the best of your ability. Honestly I think it's genius. We can agree to disagree, but just keep it open-minded here. We all have opinions. Also, how about that? Round 61 with four people on "shanghai la?" good job! I got that round on the map "four" once, right after my 100 run on "kinsfolk under token." Afterwards I played some BOII tranzport, and a quick match of Shine no number. Afterwards I just stuck to playing knocked Cthulhu f'tagn. It was intense *so intense*
  6. When you pick up a power-up there is a little green shower of sparks. It's more like that. When you get permanent quick revive it blows out of the final teammate you revived. For the boards it comes right off of the window. For the headshots I'm not sure; I haven't seen that one yet. But yeah, it's basically a green orb that pops into a shower of green sparks, like when you grab a power-up. Edit: the "strange sound" is the one you heat when you get a power up by the way, so it's basically a permanent power-up.
  7. This is my theory on all of this. All of your zombue stats can give you a permanent perk after a while. A certain number of revives gives you infinite qr. A certain number of headshots gives you deadshot. Running a certain distance gives you stamin-up. A certain number of explosive kills gives you flopper (reduced effect of backsplash and fire, probably no explosion) Certain number of boards repaired = upgraded boards. See what I mean? What else is there to find? Only time will tell.
  8. Does the new theme still include the poster of misty and a similar color scheme or is it totally different?
  9. Primary Weapon: Vector K10 Primary Attachments: Grip, Long Barrel Secondary Weapon: Executioner Secondary Attachments: long barrel Perk 1: Hardline Perk 2: Cold Blooded Perk 3: Extreme Conditioning Lethal Equipment: Semtex Tactical Equipment: Flashbang X 1 Wildcards:
  10. Someone doesn't like difficulty. I assume Ascension was your favourite map? LMAO actually I only played 4 player on every map I went passed round 55 every map and as for my favorite Five round 63 and Shanghai La round 61 and if you think zombies is not difficult because the fact is all maps were a challenge you with out doubt were those people that only played 2 player that's EASY Your opinions are biased beyond any validity, your perception of Triple Ex's highly logical response was skewed and responded to with unnecessary slander, and your level of comprehension of the subject is clearly visible by your responses (and I am utterly unimpressed.) also, I find your lack of grammatical structure disturbing. basically what I'm trying to say here is that you really need to stop refusing to look at things any way but yours. As you said you like challenge and think BO zombies was challenging. The point triple made was essentially "SO ARE THESE!" this argument explains why all if these aspects you sought to complain about do t actually "suck" and are not "a joke." They are made to be tricky. How can that disappoint you based on your own testimony?
  11. Screw juggernog. New favorite perk.
  12. After playing quite a bit of multiplayer, I have noticed several similarities between modern maps and ones from past games. These similarities involve similar physical textures, same effective weapons, similar layout, gameplay styles, objective assault strategies, and so on . Anyway, I just wanted to know what maps you would compare the new ones to and why. For example, you could say "the gameplay styles and general layout are similar between nuketown and nuketown 2025." but, you know, more serious...
  13. My personal opinion is... Ok, so we know there is an MDT on the moon, and one in NML, which are linked. Simply re-wiring one and linking it to another mainframe is all our heroes would need to do to be able to teleport to earth. They don't seem smart enough to be able to do that on their own. but maybe after observing the struggle for dominance over the tranzit crew between maxis and richtofen, the O4 themselves tried to send them a message in the hopes that one of them (specifically Marlton) could instruct them on how to use the MDT to go home. I made the following thread prior to the game's release, but it ties in with this theory nicely. viewtopic.php?f=100&t=24695
  14. These ate some really good points you've made, especially about his watch. Burns pointed out his watch and said it was significant but we never got it until now. So yeah, nice job.
  15. I was on the bridge in the bus when he said this so I jumped out scared. Nothing happened so I just got back on and he was basically like "LOL JK BITCH"
  16. THISTHISTHISTHISTHISTHISTHISTHISTHISTHISTHISTHISTHISTHISTHISTHISTHISTHISTHISTHISTHIS
  17. I think this takes place at either very near future (2013) or 2025. I also believe that these events on tranzit occur almost immediately after the missiles hit. The tranzit crew were in the bunker on nuketown when it got blown away. Then, they fled and ended up in Hanford. I mean, some people think that the missiles hit in the 60s, but if this takes place in the present or future, you mean to tell me that the tranzit crew survived for over 50 years after the missiles hit? Marlton is like 25, people! He couldn't have been in the bunker if it happened 50+ years ago. Also if that was true there would be no russman because he would be like 120. The only major fault I can see in my theory is that it doesn't make sense that they could just stroll out of the bunker and not get decimated by radiation, UNLESS they weren't normal missiles (which some people believe strongly.) and they did not result in any radiation being released.
  18. I'm not sure but I thought double tap worked with all weapons... Maybe there is a universal RPM cap, making it useless in some weapons? Who knows. To get permanent quick revive you need to just get 15+ revives in one game of tranzit. This can be easily done with a suicidal partner. You will know when you unlock it because when you revive the final person there is a green explosion on the air above them, like fireworks.
  19. 'fraid I can't give you any audio but it's easy to see for yourself. Save a walker after any round and go for a spin in the bus. Knife / shoot him until his eyes turn red three or more times between any two stops. His retaliations get worse and worse progressively, ranging from locking the doors for a moment, to skipping stops, or even stopping in the middle of the fog with the doors locked open and him cussing you out. It's actually pretty funny! Just give it a try; it takes like 2 minutes.
  20. "YOUR DOOR PRIVILEGES HAVE BEEN F$&@ING REVOKED!!" good lord that scared me. Also he tried to eject me once but I stepped to the side too quickly. He has locked me in the bus, and one time he locked me out and just said "Well F$&@ You!"
  21. As I have said before, they try to prompt players to play tranzit and grief by including maps more fitting to them than survival. The main reason they did this was to get people well-acquainted with the modes prior to the release of the first DLC. This is to discourage people from passing over these new modes and gives people a chance to like them. In all the DLCs I bet the survival maps will be much better, as their fans will already be acquainted with the new modes and they won't need to force fans towards them. At that point we can decide for ourselves where we want to go, and in many cases that will be survival. So, don't be disappointed yet; the best is yet to come for survival (not that that is saying much). I enjoy the survival, but think that it will improve beyond what we had in WaW and BO. Just have faith...
  22. Funnily enough, there is a bus driver tranzit quote mentioning double decker buses haha. - Waffles Hmmmm.... Do they have double decker buses in Paris? EDIT: A quick google search says yes. We do know Paris was originally planned for moon..... Hmmm..... Jolteon, I think we need you over here. S$&@ just got real. Not only do we have loads of theories revolving around Paris and the catacombs, but now there is an opening for including it in tranzit! WITH A DOUBLE-DECKER!!
  23. so the diner is too small, but the bus depot isn't? the hell kind of messed up thinking is that? I think the point is that they held the exact opposite as priority. Why use the diner, where two people on opposite teams can train indefinitely instead of an area where it is total trolling close-quarters mayhem? That is the point of grief mode. Also, it seems the portion maps are designed for grief more than survival (but still sort of survival (and don't start another discussion about that here!)) anyway it seems grief maps would be better if they are small. That's sorta the point.
  24. Plus these is some debait about whether or not maxis's intentions are as honorable As he paints them. So maybe evil maxis will unveil the voices and help evil richtofen to DESHTROY ZEM!! UND ZAT MEANS MORE LESSER EVILS!!!
  25. James c burns did his trailer analysis a while ago, and in it he points out marlton's watch device on his wrist, saying it is important. naturally we all thought it would involve controlling the bus. But what if it does? Or something else does? Hmm...
