  1. Because he is an all-powerful omnipotent being, and maxis doesn't know whether he or the MPD would even be damaged. Bear in mind, people, that both claim that the other is trying to destroy the earth. I don't know what to make of that, because they could both possibly be lying, bug there's no telling as of now.
  2. Too true, but you should note that we are slouching and whacking, And we certainly don't have any throwing knives as zombies. also the current lobby limit is 8 so that means a Max of 7 enemies. Unless they expand it to 16 for this mode. This wouldn't be too hard since the reason the limit was 8 was to compensate for the amount of data flowing with dozens of zombie AIs for which to accommodate. since there are no AIs in turned (or so it seems) they won't need that compensation and will be able to simply have larger lobbies. Then the only alteration to the player controlled zombies would be the 3rd person model and brains. Hmm.
  3. I don't know guys, back in October when we got the tranzit preview I thought it was obvious that we were going to be playing as zombies. Check the avatar man! >>> Has anyone entertained the possibility that we will actually be encountering paradoxical structures, like the endless staircase? that would be a little intimidating, but I can totally see treyarch doing that to mess with our heads. HOWEVER... I don't know about that man. It will probably have some technological explanation, like gravity shifting fields (like a security system to confuse intruders?), if this is even actually true at all. If so, one other thing to mention is that from a logical standpoint, if this technology is used as a defense mechanism, it makes sense that it's designers employed it in an offensive form. Gravity gun anyone?
  5. I love both of those movies!! That really reminds me of the scene in inception where Arthur is in the hotel dream while the van in which he is sleeping barrel-rolls down a hill. The hotel spins around several times making him walk in a full circle up the wall, ceiling, and back down to the floor. It's trippy as hell but just beautifully done. In die rise it is likely due to a building collapsed in half, however that doesn't account for it being a seemingly intact room yet perfectly upside down... I suspect we will be seeing some inception-style trickery soon... And let me just say I'm holding my breath. This is going to be... Words can't describe what this is going to be. Yeah. I'm pumped.
  6. It looks like killing the human makes you switch roles with them, so my guess is that the winner will be based on time spent human as well as human and zombie kills. Here's my idea. No rounds, just your lobby of zombie's with one human. Up to 7 zombies I suppose. This is one single never ending round. You sprint from the start as a zombie and can kill in two hits. The player just tries to kill zombies and not get overwhelmed. They can only buy wall weapons as a human. If a zombie is killed it comes back with health and speed of one round higher. For example at the start of the game you have Round 1 health. You get killed as a zombie 10 times and now have the health and speed of a round 11 zombie. BUT every time a human is killed the zombie that killed it becomes the player. Every time a new player comes into the human position the zombie's health and speed resets. I could just be horribly wrong, but that's how I imagine it.
  7. Zombies + Slender = SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY! I always liked the der riese "treasure hunt" feel, which I was disappointed in the loss of in green run. It would be cool to assemble pieces of a whole like a journal to find a clue. There are countless examples of this through video games, and in my opinion several arbitrary side quests would make it a more immersive experience to play. Devs bragged about all the areas to EXPLORE in tranzit, but I felt this more in der riese than I ever felt in black ops or black ops 2 so far. Anyway, you get my point. I love this.

  11. I could ramble about how amazingly awesome every aspect looks, but you've already said it all people. Let me just say I am incredibly stoked.
  12. I really like the idea that the buildings can crumble based on certain stimuli. Perhaps in a similar way to 'nading the vault in town. Treyarch really seem to be going above and beyond, even with interactive multiplayer maps. I always say that an interactive map adds interest. And crumbling buildings beneath our feet? That is more awesome than anything I could have hoped for. I bet we'll be seeing elevators from five return. I also like OP's idea that we can prevent the buildings from crumbling for an achievement, or alternatively destroy them all. :evil: THROW ALL THE FRAG GRENADES!!

  14. The grief scoreboard should be like the electoral college. Sure, someone might have the most kills, but only the truly insightful realize that it doesn't matter in the slightest. Once I get jug, an MP5 with basically unlimited ammo, and mustang and Sally depending on the length of the game, I hardly get any kills. I hang back and work elaborate training and trapping strategies with my partner(s) (usually just one REAL teammate since I play with one friend at a time usually. The others are a mystery box of randoms.) Anyway, I haven't gotten the final enemy down by diving in him yet, but that is my current grief goal. :twisted:

  16. You didn't include my 2 favorites! Scavenger and LSAT! Of that I'd have to say my best combo would be The blue Wonder Waffles, H115 Oscillator, and Mustang and Sally (also not mentioned I believe.)
  17. I actually made a thread on this when the achievements were released. Good times. There are loads of "fourth-wall" impossible pop culture references through quotes, like Dempsey using Charlie sheen's catch phrase in Shang. "Winning!" and many others.
  18. Yeah I understand. I still felt like I should say that though. I tried out the "dive on them while they're reviving and prone" strategy and it had some amusing results Did anyone else try it?
  19. Imaginary? In just joking! I don't play it for the sole purpose of giving myself the false impression that I'm unusually skilled at grief. I play it because it's the most fun is person can have in zombies, without a doubt. I myself have congratulated people who beat me or lost by a hair, and have added a few as well. I enjoy myself exponentially more when I have good competition. However when you reach the point where your opponents are so appallingly terrible at grief, to the point where they all died on round four, I kinda lost control for a bit. This was influenced a bit by my split screen partner who has a majorly gloaty side, and honestly I regret acting like such a jerk. But still, lol.
  20. You don't activate the nukes on moon until after richtofen is in control, so the mushroom cloud is from the multiplayer nuke. Apart from that, I think it is highly likely that the perks came from moon. It would make sense that they don't need them since they already have them on moon permanently. That's a good point which I wouldn't have thought of. Nice ideas!
  21. I literally just watched die hard yesterday lol. I quote it in my signature a lot too. It's one of my favorite movies! I made an entire thread about "back to the future" references a while back. There really were quite a few. There are also references to other video games as well. I remember a quote from Dempsey on moon "oh, sorry zombies but I'm all out of gum!" a reference to Duke Nukem's amous line "it's time to kick add and chew bubble gum, and I'm all out of gum."
  22. I got a guy downed in grief by running a train into him. When his partner came to help, I repeated the act. And again. And again. I got my team to take care of the last zombies, as I had "unfinished business." hike they mopped up the last zombies, I unloaded all of my ammo into the pule of four downed enemies. I usually don't gloat, but I couldn't help it. :mrgreen:
  23. EJ!!!!!!! HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN ABOUT KNIFE-AID??????!!!!! Lol no I was actually on my way back to this thread to give shouts to dunby. Plus, lets face it-- "blader-ade" sounds so much cooler than knife-aid. Plus it returns to the idea that each perk is a reference to a real life drink (Gatorade.) Edit: I know it was your idea, but dunby was your biggest fan for a while there. That fool loved him some knife-aid. In no way trying to steal credit by the way. It's just a great idea that is worth mentioning. Edit #2: plus this is just my spin.
  24. Blader-Ade Doubles your melee speed and increases your melee damage by approx. 33%. Useful in general, but especially if you have a knife upgrade (ballistic knife, Bowie knife, galva knuckles) and against denziens, or whatever variations we may see in the future. I hope to see a new, more clever and fitting physical model for the knife in the future maps. The sickle on the two Russian maps was clever. My only desire is that when we finally make it to Paris I get to skewer undead with a wicked cooking utensil. :mrgreen:
  25. Devs thought "we made a map where players get blasted up in the air by geysers. What's cooler than that?" do they came up with gravity lifts, and built the entire map moon around the idea of gravity lifts, in an attempt to make a bigger bang than plain old Paris. This divergence was so rushed the file name for moon is still Zombie_Paris. I made a thread in the asylum focusing on clues (mainly in der riese) that suggest Paris and possibly England as maps. Check it out if you wish. Legitimate rage mentioned some stuff I bring up.
