  1. Maybe if you shoot him he flips the F$&@ out and swerves like a mad man? This would not delay your progress but would be a real B$&@# if you were trying to aim straight or carry out a precise action within the bus. Also the way he worded one part makes it seem as if the game doesn't really begin until we leave the bus. Maybe we are in a no mans land type place and the bus is our salvation to the next area (rest of tranzit)?
  2. I am surprised nobody pointed this out yet. It may not necessarily mean that we are getting scavenger as a perk, but there are still a multitude of other things this could point to. In some of the gameplay footage you can see magazines from guns on the ground. I have a few theories on why this might be. 1. IMPROVED GRAPHICS/REALISTICNESS. Maybe once you discard a magazine it actually drops one on the ground, rather than it just vanishing like in previous titles. This would simply add to the realisticness of it. 2. AESTHETICS. Maybe there are simply magazines all over the place at the start, implying that a massive struggle took place there prior to our survivors arriving there.? 3. NEW MORE REALISTIC FEATURE. Maybe in black ops 2, in order to make it more realistic, when you reload a magazine that isn't empty, the unused rounds are lost. The mag falls to the ground where you must dig around for it later if you are desperate. Not too likely, but whatever. 4. SCAVENGER AS A PERK. Basically my idea for this is that you could buy a perk called, say, scavengerita. This beverage causes every 100th zombie killed by the player in possession of this perk to drop an item at will replenish a single magazine of each of your weapons. I personally don't know which of these to believe. However I do believe that one or more are probably true. what do you guys think? Here is a video showing the shot which revealed these magazines for a split second. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6YFHT0gpgB8
  3. Maybe you need to SCAVENGE for clues more thoroughly. Naw, I don't really know what's up. I assumed pacifying them with EMP was something along the lines of "electrical boss makes them faster by electrifying them, so slowing them with emp (removing electricity) pacified them." as for the collars, it seems to have some significance, but none that I can theorize on now. Actually... Maybe it was some cruel form of training, or treatment, for hospital zombies. Like a dog, stepping out of the range gives them a zap. In their quest for brains they strayed too far our of the hospital, sending a continuous stream of electricity through them from the still active collar. It ties in with the possibility of some zombies spawning already on fire. A bit out there, but that's all I have right now.
  4. I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. But I will find you, and I will give you a hug. +1. As was stated above, I get where you're coming from, but even still. The way you presented that thought was a little... Harsh. Regardless of what you feel, your expression of it shouldn't be made in such a way that it intentionally puts down other members. Well, as I always say, "I may not agree with what you have to say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." even so, I can't help but feel that I need to put that our there to prevent any future "misunderstandings" along the lines of the one in the above conversation. Peace. -EJ
  5. Some of you may recall my back to the future thread from a while ago. Well, I noticed a few possible connections with the NoES series. Firstly, until Friday, I had only ever seen the first of all of the NoES series. But then I saw the finale called "Freddy's Dead: the final nightmare". I immediately noticed a few connections with zombies in this specific title. these are I bit more theory-based than factual, unlike the BttF thread. However, they should not go completely unnoticed. Firstly, for those of you who don't know, "Nightmare on elm street" is a horror movie series based on the idea that there was a murderer named Freddy Kruger, who was killed by a group of vigilantes (concerned neighborhood parents). So he then returns to haunt the dreams of those peoples' children, where killing them in the dream kills them in real life. He proceeds to mentally and physically torture all of them. His signature is that he wears a glove fitted with razors for fingers. Anyway, in the beginning of "Freddy's Dead", there was a classic nightmare sequence. The boy in the dream approaches a ticket vendor's stand in a desert area. The creepy man slides him a ticket, revealing that the man is in fact wearing Freddy's glove. The boy hesitates. The man looks him in the eye and says "well hurry up boy! YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS THE BUS! AHAHAHAA!!!" then the boy backs away into the street where Freddy Kruger runs him over with an old-fashioned bus. Here's a video. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=AIrxfbXQSYo I can't help but think that the Similar looking bus, the line from the vendor, and the desert itself could have some connection with one of the sub-sections of tranZit. Anyway, moving on. The main setting of Freddy's Dead is in a "cabin in the woods" type place, only a little more farm-ish. This entire area is situated near a large desert, where some other parts of the plot take place. These are both area types we've seen showcased for BOII. this may be a bit of a stretch, but still worth pointing out. I noticed that in the beginning of the trailer they have added "drug use" to the "Rated M" warnings for the game. A specific scene from Freddy's dead jumps out at me. A kid smokes weed in front of a TV and gets pulled into it. Psychedelic lights flash and trippy 8-bit music blasts as he enters a video game nightmare world controlled by Freddy, wielding a razor-fitted NES power glove. Here is a video. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3i2h1GcqXx0 I know, right? WTF?!?! But still, I have played games on the Internet based on this scene and the games featured in it. These games include one where you run from Freddy in a locker room while dodging him as he tries to whip you with a towel. Yeah, it's a really ridiculous scene for a horror movie. Honestly it seems like it would be worthy of inclusion in a massive Easter egg in some form. It explains the drug use, and might tie in to my big theory which you'll see in a moment. There is also the obvious connection of Robert Englund playing the role of Freddy. Anyway, what with the BTTF connection, and a possible connection here AND a connection to "the hills have eyes" (as shown in a different thread), I think the initial area of the Easter egg we will be getting (not the tower of babble, a seperate one) will revolve around various motion pictures. Perhaps each section of tranzit could be a nod towards a certain movie. for example, there could be a desert area based on the hills have eyes, an actual wrecked suburban area set in "Elm street", near the clock tower in back to the future, maybe a tunnel system resembling the underworld from hellraiser, a forest from Friday the 13th, the farm from "the pet cemetery" and so on and so forth. You may think it is far-fetched, but If people here have been making connections to multiple movies, I see no reason to discount the possibility of this being a CoTD style map, a rag-tag team of horror movies combined. As I said before, this is less solid than other theories, but if you tie it in with the others the possibility doesn't seem too far off. Peace. -EJ
  6. http://callofdutyzombies.com/forum/view ... 00&t=24131 Posted this a while ago. Have a look!
  7. I VOLUNTEER AS TRIBUTE! Strap a spleen to mah face; I'm ready to run! I got mah stamin-umin-up and imma be runnin around all "can't get mah spleen!" Edit: my paraphrased version of the delivery. Zombies love fresh human organs! But make sure you don't become them (organs) yourself. Actually it is probably better than the alternative; becoming a zombie yourself.
  8. *gasp* THAT'S WHY THEIR NAMES ARE BLUE!!! *double-gasp* AND PUNKROCKZOMBIE IS THEIR LEADER!!! *passes out*
  9. It Seems aesthetically the map is quite different. However the layout looks very very similar. For example, if this image was from the perspective of the player, they are standing near the front door and garage of one of the houses (the one closest to the bus) and facing the blocked off street area. Even the destroyed armored car is there, but replaced with a fancier 60's car as a visual model. See?
  10. Who needs bullets when I have SWAG!? ... I mean A LAWN MOWER!?! But seriously, I don't know what's up with the arm. Maybe you actually scavenge gibbed zombie chunks for materials...
  11. I posted an idea a while ago that said roughly this: Maybe when you due you drop a marker that says how many kills, downs, etc. you had at the time of death. Then maybe the acquisition of this "tombstone" can allow you to put it to other uses. And I also thought that I'd this is true, instead of zombies player cards, CUSTOM TOMBSTONES!
  12. Maybe it is KDT2025 or something like that. Post apocalyptic setting applied to past maps. Just wishful thinking, but still. I'd buy it. Good find though. because, I mean, it DOES look like the area on Kdt I described.
  13. I Always assumed we would have to build stuff at the workbench shown briefly in the trailer (in the background in the generator room). So maybe (like in minecraft) you can make one using minimal resources and simply place it elsewhere for more convenient access, and for the possibility of more than one person building at a time. Das ist mein 2 cents.
  14. Hmm. As for the location of the box, I think I may know where this is. The wall visible in the hole in the ceiling looks a hell of a lot like the kino der toten alley. If so, then this would be inside the building with the window in the alley (you know, the one where you hear crying). Maybe we'll get an expanded kino der toten as a bonus? I could just be completely wrong and it could be somewhere else entirely. Who knows.
  15. in The trailer in the background for a split second it shows a neon sign that says "north highway diner" but it is burnt out in such a way that it says "NOW DIE", an obvious message from richtofen. So yes, you are absolutely right.
  16. I wonder what we could do with a dolly with straps on it. It actually looks like the far side has some kind of seat on it. Hmm. This is a crazy unlikely idea, but what if you can scoop up a downed teammate and sprint the hell away for an easier escape? Tee hee hee! Also all of these buildables are held together by the same white strap thing. Anyone know what that stuff is? Tape? Elastic? Hmm.
  17. Welcome aboard! *insert demonic laughter* Oh but before you get started, here. Take this. *tosses raygun* You'll need it.
  18. Honestly the most cheating I ever do now is the dog glitch on the stage on kino der toten. I hardly even do that though because there is no real need, and it's fun to run around doing the Stevie griffin laugh like syndicate saying "oohehehehehe little puppies hehehehehe" I got into a lobby with glitches who went out of map in Verrückt in such a way that I had to stay in the map. I endured like ten rounds of dying and not being revived due to lack of juggernog and available partners, so I have vowed to wish that boredom upon nobody in the future. It sucked. A LOT. I rare go for high rounds, but when I do, I NEVER cheat. If it is just a barrier glitch I don't call anyone on it, but anything like getting out of the map or something like that, no way. Major no-no.
  19. There were a few things MW3 brought to the table that I thought were brilliant. For example... Different types of killstreaks (support, specialist) Killstreaks for each class Some of the streaks themselves (viva la recon drone) Some of the maps were kinda neat but nothing too special. Apart from that, the gameplay was a bit... Weak. Honestly the biggest mistake the developers made was listening to the consumers. Everyone has that one weapon that pisses them off because it always kills them. For example, noob tubing. So they say it should be nerfed, and it is. But in some cases people are just intolerant of getting killed at all. You know, because the only way they could have possibly gotten killed is by that darn OP gun everyone uses *sarcasm*. Then all the weapons are made useless until playing isn't even fun anymore. In BO2 multiplayer styles are shifted towards more than running and gunning. With the addition of the score streak system, playing to objective is more rewarding, and will shift the general gameplay to more tactical. Also the score streaks themselves ate so novel and innovative it will shift our gameplay in small ways to adhere to the new ones. So yeah, MW3 had its perks (pun completely intended) but black ops 2 will not just last longer than it, but will be better in general. Also, many complained that Bo ran to slowly. Others said the MW multiplayer is too fast. Anyone know where Bo 2 rests in the spectrum of fast-slow killing?
  20. I always thought it would be funny if they had quotes that were their "freaking out" quotes. Like when they get hit multiple consecutive times, take lots of damage, get cornered, red screen, et cetera. Here are examples I made up. "Fuck, Fuck, Fuck, FUCK!" -Nikolai "Shit, This looks bad!" -Nikolai "NO NO SCHTAY AWAY! AAH!" -richtofen "Stop it! NYAOOOOO!!!" -richtofen "Aah, they're all over me, SHIT!" -dempsey "Aww SHIT! I'M GOING DOWN!!" -Dempsey "Save me from this horror!" -takeo "SCREW HONOR, I AM ABOUT TO DIE! HELP!" -takeo :D
  21. I don't remember the exact quote, but Nikolai says It on moon when activating the power. It is something like "ok, in an otherwise technologically advanced moon base, the fact that a single switch was not pulled eliminated both our oxygen and our gravity? Who the hell designed this place!?"
  22. Isn't it something like, "remember to shut your mouth before it explo- *choking* shit ate more zombie" Wierd, I haven't heard that. probably because I never throw grenades in moon. Y'know, because of the windows...
  23. When I opened this my phone Beat the S$&@ out of me and then cried in the corner for thirty minutes. It would probably make him feel better if you put this in a spoiler. Think of the smartphones! This has inspired an idea! Maybe there are specific bus upgrades, for each aspect. For example... Wheels get bigger for bigger speed, bigger lights for improved frontward visibility, and the ram thing which improves your ability to kill zombies you run over in high rounds, et cetera. So this looks like it will be an all-around power up for the bus. It is a battery attached to jumper cables and a single large headlight and a partial ram. Maybe it gives you an engine boost due to the battery, a light boost, AND an electrified ram connected to the battery via cables, which deals astronomical damage. Of course it would be hard to make, but boy does it come with its rewards!
  24. When George tells us what he found in the Nazi documents, there are Der Riese's doors shown on the screen. But it'd be impossible for him to get there... True, but I do wonder where else he got his sources? The documents he read are form someone in der riese. I'm just wondering who or what gave him the information? You both raise an interesting point! Where did George get his documents? I think you guys may have unwittingly raised a question whose answer could lead to a clue in the next map. The source could be associated with a geographical location, or an upcoming face. For example, maybe Sophia? Great work!
  25. ACTUALLY, it is going to be legen....
