  1. I'm not sure what you mean by them being called "Zombie_Tazer_Knuckles when you buy them"? Do the knuckles on the wall change to that or something? Because you can never see the name of your melee weapon, can you? Either way, if they are called that, the underscores would tell me it's a placeholder name, and not an official name... which tells me this is a glitch. Not to mention that you say it gives you grenades when you do it. The entire thing sound really glitchy to me. I guess the question is, does it change their effect at all? Do they become a one-hit kill past round 13? And regarding your last post, lots of glitches are easy to do... doesn't make them any less of a glitch.
  2. I've had it happen quite a few times with most perks. The perk never actually works for me though, the icon will just be lit up as if it were active.
  3. Thanks for speaking some sense. I don't know why so many people have to start their "I found the next step!" threads with "And if you think the EE is over you're a closed-minded dumb 12 year old quitter" or something. And then wonder why the threads result in a big argument. I'm wondering... when will all you guys apologize? After a year goes by without anything being continued? When Black Ops 3 comes out? In 5 years will you still be insisting that there's more and anyone that disagrees is a little kid that gives up on everything? Because I can promise you, I'm a big enough man (oops, sorry, little 12 year old quitter) that I will come on here and start a thread apologizing if a continuation is found without adding DLC... even though I never started calling people names just for disagreeing with me. Oh gee, I dunno. Really don't get why these threads turn into arguments...
  4. Fixed.
  5. I don't really think it's "out of context" if it was meant to be taken out of context. Really, anyone that read or heard about Rez's quote and said "Proof!! There's more to the EE and an end to TranZit! You disagree? RAAAAARRRGGGH STUPID YOU'RE SO THICK AND DUMB!!" must have just started playing Zombies this week. What else have "OMG MEMBERS OF THE TEAM THAT MAKES THE GAME!!" said regarding zombies in the past? Don't have the exact quotes on hand, but they have said things like; -"Not everything has been found in Der Riese" (this was a year after Black Ops came out.... shortly before the DLC that added this map.) Yeah, right. -When asked "Why is death the only way out of Zombies?" at a Zombies panel, one of them said "Who said there isn't? Have you tried going to round 100 on Kino?" (many people have gone well past 100 on Kino. Nothing happens.) -At the Zombies panel, one of the guys on the team (may have been Jimmy or Rez, I forget) came out wearing a "trollface" T-Shirt -Then there's stuff like the intel talking about an "unconfirmed secret cave" in Call of the Dead. They were probably referring to the slide... yet they read the forums and they knew people had been theorizing about an "ice cave". They knew this post would add fuel to the fire, I guarantee it. These guys want people to keep playing the game. They want people to buy the DLC. And they've pretty much confirmed themselves that they are notorious trolls. Some vague quote from Rez isn't something to freak out over.
  6. Both sides can be done with only two people. A lot of us were really annoyed by the fact that you needed 4 people for certain EEs in the past, and Treyarch finally listened and made it possible to do with 2 people. There's really nothing more to it. It's not "too simple", it's just so that you can complete them without having to get 3 of your friends to all be online at the same time or try and get randoms to work together.
  7. For the record, I called the beams a glitch as soon as I saw 3 or 4 people comment that they couldn't get them on PS3. Pretty much they day after they were discovered. I have to say, it is semi entertaining to see these theories getting more and more ridiculous as people get more desperate. Hey, has anyone tried getting 4 people to all buy the same 4 perks, then EMPing all 4 of those perks at once, then throwing 4 monkeys at the electric zombie while he's standing on a manhole cover while the perk machines are still disabled? Someone try it! If you don't then you're a whiny, quitting little kid.
  8. Yeah, I get it bad on the Xbox. Mostly when taking out a whole horde. And yes, the consoles and the engine are both outdated. But why should they update the engine? Why should they fix the lag compensation, hit detection, and outdated net coding in the multiplayer? There's no reason to update much of anything, because they can pretty much do the bare minimum and make billions of dollars every year. I can say with 100% certainty I will not be buying Call of Duty next year. Hell, if it weren't for Zombies I wouldn't have bought Black Ops II.
  9. Pretty much my thoughts. I think you're onto some cool, unique ideas that would be pretty interesting in Zombies... but I'm not really all that interested in the idea of recycling weapon effects that have already been used, especially in the sense of "Here's a gun that basically does what these grenades did!". I'd say stick with the idea of a gun that needs kills to be powered, and try to come up with a unique function for the weapon that hasn't been done before. Also, I have to agree that the lack of Element 115 makes the Jet Gun NOT a Wonderweapon, technically. And even though I voted "No" on your idea, I would still takes this over the Jet Gun in a heartbeat. Yes, I know the Jet Gun can be used to reach infinite rounds, I know it's potentially powerful... I still don't like it at all.
  10. I just don't see how you could do a "campaign" mode to zombies, while still keeping the round-based structure that we're accustomed to. And if you don't keep that structure, then how is it even Call of Duty Zombies anymore? There's a ton of different games involving zombies at this point... if you start to abandon the things that define our Zombies mode in an attempt to evolve it into something else, then there's a high risk of it just becoming another zombie game and losing what makes it unique. I think they're on the right track with Tranzit, though it's still far from perfect. Keep the rounds, keep the basics of the mode pretty much the same... just expand on the map and give us more choices and complexity to the optional Easter eggs. Hopefully with the DLC's, it will become what I think it could.
  11. For Green Run TranZit (solo), I like to use what I call the "Justice and Punishment" class; Gun primary: Relativistic Punishment Device (upgraded RPD) Gun secondary: Voice of Justice (upgraded Executioner) Grenade primary:Usually just stick with the regular grenades Grenade secondary: EMP Equipment: Zombie shield Perks: Juggernog, Double Tap, Stamin-up, Speed Cola Melee: Galvaknuckels The Voice of Justice will kill zombies in one shot until round 30 if you're shooting them in the chest, and has no splash damage (unlike the Raygun or Mustang and Sally, making it the perfect secondary for killing any zombies that get in your way while running circles), and the upgraded RPD remains effective into the 40's if you go for headshots. I prefer the EMP grenades over Monkeys because they make the electric zombie a complete non-issue. Usually you can kill him with the knuckles before the round even starts, but sometimes he will spawn somewhere out of reach and close in during the round. While you could throw a Monkey to distract the zombies and punch him twice with the knuckles, throwing an EMP just makes it so easy to get rid of him. And since I usually run in front of the farm, I don't really have to worry about disabling any perks with them. Highest round achieved is 46, 0 downs. I just don't have the patience for 50+. I've tried a couple times, but when I get into the early 40's I just start getting really bored. Round 46 is the longest I've gone before quitting the game.
  12. Dude. Zombie dinosaurs would be AWESOME! Yep, it will spell out R.A.P.E.- and the final Zombies map? It'll simply be called "Train".
  13. That's the clock. Whenever the population counter resets, the drop in the shed changes. That is the only significance I have found to the population counter and the clock thing.
  14. Revolution Aggression Pacification Evolution :P
  15. Your English is not bad at all. "Zoom" was the correct word you were looking for. And good eye catching the helicopter! I totally missed that. Only thing I didn't get from your post was... what map did you get the coordinates from?
  16. Hate to nitpick, but I wouldn't call this "Confirmed". It does seem legit, but it could possibly be faked. It's not confirmed until Activision or 3Arc confirm it themselves. If it is real, I wonder if the new gun will be available in Zombies? It doesn't really say... could be multiplayer only.
  17. There have been a couple moments where I thought "Wow, I'm getting pretty damn good at this game..." I dabbled in a bit of Zombies in WaW, but nothing too serious. Started playing it a lot more in Black Ops, and when the game came out I was playing a lot of Kino with a friend who played a lot of zombies in the previous game. I thought he was amazing at the game. A few months later we played Ascension, and I carried HIM to round 32. He had something like 30 downs by the end, and I had none (until the very end). It was one of those "The student has become the master" type of moments, when I realized I had clearly surpassed the guy that I thought was an amazing player in the beginning. Another was a 4 player game on Moon. All three of my friends ended up dying early in round 25, and I had to solo the entire round with all of them spectating. I wasn't even struggling at all, and they're all going on about how "beast" I am and everything, while I'm like "Nah, this is easy mode!"
  18. Yeah, I'm really confused about the perk drops. A friend and I played this map for like 5 hours the night the game came out, and we never did figure out a pattern to the drops. Last night I played it again for the first time since (solo) and while I'm reading everywhere the the perks drop when the population sign gets to 0, that's not the case in my games. What I have found is that the drop in the shed changes when the population sign resets. But in my experience the population has no relevance to perks. I've seen perks, PaP come down when the population was at around round 33 or some other odd number. Also, in the game I played last night, Pack A Punch, Speed, and Double Tap all spawned in the first 12 or 13 rounds (along with Revive, which always spawns round 1 solo)... then I finally got Jugg on round 18, and I'm positive I reset the counter a few times in those 5 or 6 rounds. I was just watching a video where someone got the last perk dropped on 16, so it doesn't seem to be related to rounds. So if there is any pattern to when these things drop, I'm not sure what it is. Maybe it's related to kills, but kills you get when downed or from nukes don't count? If anyone has the real answers I'd love to know.
  19. I always thought it was pretty funny that Jimmy Z is likely in the comments of that article. Someone posting as "Lead animator" comments on the article a few times.... the first saying "My head has since been re-attached".
  20. At least someone here has some sense.
  21. If you go under the map before PaP room is open, you can see the windows and some of the debris in the area. It's not that it isn't there, or that it's somewhere else and "moves" to that spot, it's just that you're outside of it looking in, and since there are no exterior walls (because you never see it from the outside) you can't see the walls or anything. You can clearly see that there's a room there, though. The PaP room and the "door" by power both have power symbols simply so that you'll realize they're connected somehow.
  22. No. Someone asked if there was a reward after completing the EE and getting the achievement, and he said "Yes". And you do get a reward.... drops under the tower. The tweet didn't say anything about whether we're "missing something".
  23. Anyways... yeah, totally agree with the OP. It may be too much work for mods to go through approving every thread, but we should at LEAST have sub-forums for "Easter egg theories" or something... because it just gets ridiculous with everyone starting a new thread for every half-assed thing that pops into their head... or trolls starting threads that end up with 8 pages of people arguing. And then 5 more threads pop up addressing the trolls. It's SO hard to find actual, constructive discussions or real, hard facts on this forum because it's constantly flooded with BS. It's not getting out of hand... it's really been out of hand since the EE was finished.
  24. I always thought this was from Richtofen's POV also... only because they have a male singing it and not Elena. Reading the lyrics, though, it's obvious it's from the Zombie's perspective. Which begs the question... why did they not have Elena do it? Also, while we're on the topic of the hidden song... I read (I think on the Call of Duty wiki) that if you activate the teddy bears in a certain order, Avenged Sevenfold's "Carry On" will play? Is there any truth to that? I've done them in a few different orders and always got the same song. It also said that some Skrillex song that's in a multiplayer map could be played originally, but was removed with a patch. Sounds like complete BS to me, but just wondered if anyone could confirm.
  25. Did you play Black Ops zombies? In Call of the Dead and Shangri La we were given items that were used later, in Moon. Why wouldn't they give us an item (navcard perhaps?) in a later DLC map that we could go back and use in Green Run? Makes perfect sense to me.
