  1. Wow, really? So the stuff in the map that's broken wasn't broken before the rockets hit? Huge hint, man. You just gave it all away! You know what? The bus has holes in it, but at one time it didn't. Think about THAT for a minute. -Pickup Truck
  2. Thanks for posting the pic. I've heard a lot of people saying the trains have the electricity symbol "just like for the Pack a Punch room!" and have gone in theater and not seen anything. That's because they're not "just like the pack a punch room" symbols. The ones at the bank and power station are big, green, obvious, and you know they mean something the first time you seem them. In my opinion these are just texture details that don't really mean anything. But of course I could be wrong.
  3. One thing I found odd... when I was glitching under the map in theater and exploring the boundaries and everything, you can't get into the "MOON" building. I found it a bit odd since there's really no reason to put boundaries around that building because you can't get to any part of it anyways. It's not a playable area, but you can't go through the walls or anything. Probably nothing at all, but I do remember noticing that.
  4. It just shows the exact same picture, reversed. In my opinion, what Spider posted is pretty much proof of a hoax. If this person already made posts talking about things he's heard in the map and just generally acting like an average Zombies player, then he's obviously nobody from the dev team. Sorry, guys... this was definitely a very good troll, and it even had me fooled (and I don't even think there is more to the EE) but it looks like an elaborate ruse. Hats off to the guy, though... he put a lot of thought and work into it. Much better than just posting random, cryptic "hints" that lead nowhere.
  5. Quite obvious troll. Anything that furthers the EE would get tons of views right now... there's no need to hold out until it's "finished". Oh, but he's a developer or playtester... or whatever so he's not "allowed" to. But then he has videos "coming" once they "figure out" the rest. This is such a complete troll. It's not even a good troll. At least the guy on the Activision forums with the riddles put some work into using hex code, spectrographs, binary, and actually put some real effort into making himself seem legit. This guy just throws out random bullshit "clues" and people eat it up. Here, I can do it too; You guys are close, but you're missing something big. You need to find the trap door. Has anyone been in the bunker yet? Look for the cabin nav card. Go to the silo. -Pickup Truck.
  6. "In plain sight, but out of mind, without me, you would be blind." "Sometimes the largest objects hold the most significance, the end result, may be magnificent. The next step is not too far, looking in the wrong way is what you are." Without light you would be blind. There's a giant light-up arrow in plain sight on that sign. Pointing the "way" perhaps? Does it point to the roof, I think? Not sure. But I really do need sleep. Good luck, hopefully you guys can figure it out. Edit; One more thing.... spectrographs can get really accurate. A techno artist called "Aphex Twin" once hid a spectrograph image of his own screaming face in one of his songs. If the person wanted to, they could have easily just put the text on there. So the shape of the rest may be relevant. Or maybe not... but keep it in mind.
  7. Not necessarily difficult with the right tools, but would take a bit of know-how. Let me just say... if this is a troll it's not your average "Romero The Zombie" type troll. It's definitely someone that knows his stuff and has at least a bit of tech background. I'm leaning towards it being legit... and I'm a REALLY skeptical person when it comes to this stuff.
  8. Interesting. Well, hopefully my knowledge of obscure sound programs leads to something. Have fun... I'm off to bed.
  9. I ran the sound file through what is called a "spectrograph". What this does is creates a visual picture from the sound waves. Usually, you're just going to get a bunch of wavy lines. This file creates an actual image (as I suspected); What does it mean? No clue.
  10. Thanks so much for verifying this, and also for proving to me that I'm not crazy! When it first happened, as I said... I didn't get the green sparks (or whatever you want to call them) it was more of a bassy kind of "thump" sound effect. Nothing visual. It really interested me because I had never heard that outside of re-acquiring the barricade upgrade. Then I started to fire on my last group of zombies (as you said... in the head like I always do) and they went down in an instant. I even looked to see if maybe I had picked up and insta-kill and didn't realize it. This was round 36... there's no way they should go down that quick. I brushed it off as "Well, it was the last group... maybe I had already put some shots into them"... but then round 37 started, and a fresh group of zombies. I turned around, opened fire, and they dropped with just a few shots. I think I even said aloud, to myself, "There's no way they should be dying that fast..." I kept telling myself I must be imagining things, but I played the hell out of Black Ops zombies, and I know how the zombie health really starts getting ridiculous when you get to round 40. Yet it was still only taking a few headshots to kill them. I was really hoping the game would show up in my theater so I could post it and have everyone tell me what they think, but there must be some limit on game length for theater, because any time I run high rounds it doesn't show up for me. So, yeah... again, thanks for confirming it. Like I said, it took me 30 rounds before I got the sound and noticed a difference... but I also wasn't using the "Relativistic Punishment Device" exclusively. I was using the "Voice of Justice" at least a few times every round. So that could be exactly why you got it so much sooner. Awesome.
  11. It's cool that people are passionate about zombies, and like I always say... if they're having fun, then awesome! Pointless or not, gaming is about enjoying yourself... and if trying ridiculous things to advance something you probably can't even advance is entertaining you, then keep it up! That said, it's making this forum a bit awful lately. Some of us try to contribute worthwhile discussions or discoveries and not clutter up the forum with a new thread every time they have some stupid idea pop into their heads without at least trying it out first... or spamming about their "zombies clan". Hell, I try not to post a new thread unless I at least have a video of my own that I feel will contribute something worthwhile. But more and more people come on here and just post things like; "I think I solved the entire tranzit map!! Must read epic discovery with proof!! I shot at a wall and it left a bullet hole!! This is way too significant to be nothing!! Also, I threw a monkey out of the map and there was a laugh!! THIS IS THE NEXT STEP!!" or "Can someone try this?? Throw a grenade in the bus and maybe it will find a new route! Just a thought I had maybe it is the next step!!" Like... um... couldn't you have just gone into the game and done that without starting another new thread? I mean, I hate to single someone out... but couldn't the OP have looked under the bus and posted if he actually found something? It takes no more than a couple minutes. Or at least just add this to one of the countless other "Someone try this ridiculous thing" threads. I dunno... I left the Activision Call of Duty zombies forum during the Black Ops days because of stuff like this, and decided to come here for BOII because it seemed generally more mature and intelligent. Maybe I need to just take a break until the whole EE thing blows over and things calm down. Shouldn't be long now that people are cheating the entire thing by digging through the game files.
  12. Someone bumped a thread from early October. And I just bumped it again... While we're on the subject, though... I got this achievement in Spectator Mode after I died. Must have been a glitch.
  13. You've got some interesting theories and ideas, but where did you get that the bowling alley relates to the "commitment" comment? Did I miss something?
  14. The one I got behind the bus depot looks exactly like that.
  15. Glad at least one person here thought the same thing I did. And I can't say the response makes me feel any better; "I'm not posting the full code and ruining things.... I'm just sending it to every single person who asks for it" As if that makes a difference. This thread honestly just disgusts me.
  16. I don't see how this is any kind of a breakthrough. So at some point the navcard reader will accept the correct navcard.... and? I think everyone pretty much had figured that from the start. It wouldn't be in the game if it couldn't be used at SOME point. the discussion was just whether or not the "correct navcard" is currently in the game, or is something that will come with DLC. Although... I did have one theory if anyone feels like trying it out. Probably nothing, but... the navcard is the only Zombies item (that I can remember) that is right next to each player's points. Has anyone tried inserting the navcard with a million points? I mean, with the bank and all, players can store, what, $250,000 points each? And we have the ability to trade points. Maybe everyone should empty their bank account, give all their points to one player, then just play enough to make up the difference till you have a million and try it? The only thing is, if this was the case I would think it would say "Navard not charged" or something instead of "incorrect navcard". Really, it's a longshot. But hey... may be worth a shot.
  17. Yeah, pretty much what I was thinking. Really don't see it happening... but I guess it doesn't hurt to try.
  18. And of course it didn't show up in my theater. Round 40 I finally ran out of ammo for the RPD and had to use the Voice of Justice. Heard the "loss of an upgrade sound" even though the zombie heads were still popping... so whatever I got, I probably lost. Died on 41 without ever getting a max ammo. I'll keep looking into this.
  19. Sorry to bump an old thread, but although what I have to say might be significant, I don't have any solid proof (yet). Anyways... um... weapon proficiencies?! I don't know about anyone else, but any time I have re-gained the barricade power-up, I have not gotten the green sparks. Instead, I get this loud kind of thump sound. However, when I re-gain the head popper I have always gotten the sparks... and it has always been while firing at the zombies' heads. So I'm in a solo game right now. I got my upgraded RPD out of the fridge on round 6, got the Executioner and upgraded that also, and started running the farm. Now, throughout this game I have lost and re-gained the head popper a bunch of times. I'll hear the sound indicating that I've lost it when shooting a zombie in the chest or meleeing, then get the green sparks while firing at their heads. Suddenly, towards the end of round 36 (after using only these two guns, doing most of the killing with the upgraded RPD) I fire my RPD into a group of zombies, and I stop shooting and am walking around while they drop... and I hear that thumping sound I hear when I re-gain the barricade upgrade. Samuel says his "I knew it was there all along" line, and I'm thinking "Odd... I thought I had the head popper. And that was the thump instead of the sparks? I haven't repaired a window in 20 rounds." Now any zombies I shoot with the upgraded RPD on round 37 are dropping in just a few shots. At first I thought maybe it was because they were zombies I had already damaged, but the very first group I shot at in round 37 went down like it was round 17. I just can't explain it. I was just thinking on round 35 about how I would probably have to get a raygun or something because I was going through ammo too fast... now it's hardly taking anything. But my upgraded Executioner (which is a one-hit kill until around 30) is taking 4 or 5 shots still. Has anyone else played with the same guns for 30 rounds and experienced anything like this? Again, I have no proof. I know this community is full of lies and hoaxes and we don't need more. I'm even doubting it myself, but I just know they're dying much easier and faster than they were a round or two ago. And then I'm thinking about the guy who posted that he talked to Activision customer support, and they said there were challenges like "Use the same gun for 15 rounds". I'm still playing this game, but IF it shows up in my theater (seems long games usually don't for me) I will post a video and you can judge for yourselves.
  20. Pretty much what I was going to say. Aren't they only available in custom games? Sounds non-canon to me.
  21. Eat what? There's clocks in the game, and a light that lights up. What does that prove, other than that the people that used the depot needed to know what time it was, and they needed to... um.... see things at night? When I see some definite proof of an EE continuation, I'll be the first to say I was wrong. I hope I am wrong! The EE as it is is kind of lame... no, it's really lame compared to the last couple. No permanent perks, new areas... nothing. But the closest thing I have seen to evidence of a continuation is the lights coming from the laundromat door... and since there are no voices, hints, or clues along with them and nobody has figured out how to do anything significant yet, I'm not putting much faith into them doing anything. Besides that all I see are a lot of increasingly outlandish, ridiculous, and desperate theories about what could be the next step (how many threads do we get a week where someone claims to have found the next step because they threw a monkey out of the playable area and heard a laugh??). Really, can you blame me (and some others) for being skeptical? We've gone through this with almost every map since at least Der Riese. And not once was anything significant actually found after a week or so. Unlocking the secret "help" room on Der Riese, knifing the electrical boxes in Kino, opening the door across from the rocket in Ascension, finding the ice cave in Call of the Dead... not one of those amounted to anything. The only way I see this EE continuing is if, as I said in another thread, 3arc is continuing it through game updates. Otherwise it would have been found by now.
  22. No you do not need to build the table to complete ToB, its only for richtofens part. Ah, okay... I was getting the two of them confused. I guess I'm going to have to get an Xbox Live trial for my alternate account, make a new Elite account, and tie that to my alternate youtube account just to prove you don't need the table for Richtofen's side either. I really wish I could just reset the table on my main account to not be built when I start the game.
  23. Could it possibly be the Avogadro happened to be spawning into that area at the time? Kind of looks like the electricity effect he makes. I've also been under the map in theater when Avogadro was spawning at the Diner, and you could see his electricity ball under the ground at the bus depot. Interesting nonetheless. I do, however, like your theory about 3arc adding more EE steps with updates. I was actually thinking about that the other night when I was checking out the "train" sounds people were suddenly posting about. It makes sense... people solved all the EE's in the old maps so quickly that I could see them lengthening them over time instead of having the whole thing in the game on release to be solved in a day. And they could easily do it, since they know they'll be updating the multiplayer regularly, and zombies even runs on the multiplayer engine now.
  24. I was thinking maybe it was the dartboard in the bar, but you're right... it's definitely painted on wood boards. Interesting stuff... my personal belief is that the spool was an item that was cut from the final game (maybe a third part for the zombie shield?) or an old icon for the Jet Gun wires. To me, having it be an ultimately unused part for the shield makes the most sense. It's the only buildable with only 2 parts, and it could possibly be the cable that ties the handcart to the car door.
  25. thaaaank you! i thought i was the only one that felt that was a lil strange, AND the person named 'Sam' would be the only one that can hear Richtofen...come on theres gotta be sumthin where missing, and i miss the old characters kinda but not really cuz i liked playin wit Richtofen Exactly. I mean... like I said, I don't know what the significance is. I don't even have a theory about it or anything. I just think if Treyarch does everything for a reason, then they would most definitely have a reason for another character named "Sam". Again, they could have given him any name... they could have called him "Ralph" or... "Merle" or something. But instead they chose "Samuel", knowing that having two different characters named "Sam" would cause at least some confusion when discussing the Zombies mythology. No idea what the reason may be... but there's got to be a reason, in my opinion.
