Wow.....That was, what, 3 years ago? It all began on the week of an event we call "Street Scenes" at a school. It was the student night when a lot of teens from different schools came. Anyway, it was my friend birthday and we planned to go to the party and sleepover at his house. At the time, i was absolutely trash at zombies and COD in general. But i saw all my friends crowded around the TV. They were playing Ascension. I was really captured by the game. I tried it.....And was immediately downed from the DoD (Dildo of Death). I was screamin' revive me i need help! So after MANY failed attempts, i finally handed over the controller. Then when it was my turn again i went down from the 2 hit. I was liike "DAFUQ? I had like no life!" Then my friend explained and i was like "well F this." Then later on when i got better, i got the item that would forever seal my fate to this game. I was at the mystery box and pulled out my first Wonderweapon: the Thundergun. I was freaking out askin what it was then they said aim down and shoot. I aim at one zombie who gets blasted to high hell. Im freaking out and my friend just look at me like im stupid. "Dude. you just wasted a shot at one zombie. YOUR SUPPOSED TO WAIT UNTIL YOU GET ALOT!" Anyway, I soon discovered jug, etc, etc. When i went home I literally ran over to my friends house next door to play. It was so exzilerating (whatever). I never owned an xbox and was graduating that year so i asked my parents for an xbox JUST TO GET ZOMBIES CALL OF THE DEAD. I was literally addicted. I researched my heart out on the game. I wrote a short story in my english class for it (got a B but hey i like it). I became a fanatic. And that is how i got started into not only Zombies but videogames in general. All this thanks to that one night. I never forgot it because (sadly) a lot of my current lifestyle is due to that moment. -

Cheesy name i know but check out this map. Summary: The undead have risen again from the medivel graves near an abandonded castle. Watch your back as you travel through this vast castle with its winding staircases and secret passages. Dont stay anywhere too long or something might just come a thumpin'..... Atmosphere: It is dark outside and there is little light. There is a huge candelabra in the first room and is one of main sources of light. The darkest places are as dark as the Tranzit foggy areas and the brightest is like Kino. Gloomy atmosphere. Creepy like Verrukt. Suddenly on round 5, the candelabra crashes to the floor, revealing a secret passage. However, anything caught underneath will die instantly. The map takes place in a castle in possibly England, Paris, Germany or somewhere with lots of medieval influence. The map is around the size of ascension, has multiple passages like die rise, and lots of traps like the previous maps. The walls guns are pretty much the same EXCEPT: The pdw is replaced with the peacekeeper (so people who dont have it can try it in zombies; great marketing for Treyarch so people will buy the first map pack) and the AN-94 is changed to the M27 (so people who dont have nuketown get to experience it in zombies.) The enemies are wearing everything from peasantry clothing to knight armor (the new version of the armored zombies from Die Rise). However, due to a certain EE in this map, there are also GERMAN soldiers here (will explain in storyline connection). Of course, we need a new boss! THE HEADLESS KNIGHT! He appears in the middle of rounds and chases you. A swipe from his sword is the equvilant of 2 zombie hits so watch out! His special ability is that he can move through walls. This is why you cannot camp. He will simply move throught the wall! Another new enemy joining in is the Ghost Wanderer. He is the "scare" factor. he moves silently and cannot be killed. He simply walked around and runs into you. Should that happen, you will momentarily freeze and be unable to move for a certain period of time. This will present a challenge to rape trainers as they try to circle around him. He does not give chase.....as long as you dont shoot him! Perks: Most perks are back including mulekick and stamin-up. Perma-perks and Power ups are still seen. The new perk is rather interesting. For 10k points, this can be bought to recieve 4 random perks, dubbed Randomizer (insert clever soda name). It is only available until round ten, after which it disappears. It can only be bought by 1 (uno, one, single) player. It can give 4 of the 8 possilbe perks. The best part about it? You can buy 1 extra perk! However, if you go down, you lose all perks and cannot buy a 5th perk anymore. Weapons: Same weapons as Die rise and Tranzit blah blah blah. Lets get down to the cool stuff. THe new Wonder weapon! It is known as the Ray Cannon. This can be made in the German Labs (will explain location later on). This weapon works like the flamethrower and the TAM23 (Thrustodyne Aeronautics model 23). It cools down at a faster rate however and it will break. However, the pieces will not disappear from where you drop them. Basically, It looks like the Thundergun mixed with the Ray Gun. It is big and shoots blue laser beams. There are 2 different firing modes. Blast mode: Hold down the fire buttong and unleash a huge blue wave that is similar to a Raygun Shot. It fries the zombies and you see their sking literally go up in flames. Best part? the flames can be used against other zombies! However, stepping in it acts like the lava from TranZit. The second mode is single fire: Shoot a shot at the zombies to see the first 5 zombies get set on fire then burns everything that touches it. It is un-upgradeable but it can be broken and remade for more ammo. How does it break? If one uses the blast mode and tries to fire a single shot, it will overheat and be un-useable but wont Break. Should you try again, it will shatter. Play style: This map appeals to all people: Campers, Rape Trainers, box whores, etc. The beginning rom is really big like the entry way to a huge castle with knight armor and a huge staircase in the middle with a barrier buyable for 750 points....or like in previous maps, there is the "Free" way. On round 5 the candelabra will crash to the floor and reveal a secret passage. If you go through there you are now in the wine cellars Wine cellars: This place the equivalent of the Die Rise rooms with the sliquifier. There are multiple passage. However, the challenge is the darkness. it is not pitch black but it can be hard to see. at the end of the maze there is a service elevator that leads to the second floor of the building. But, there is a catch. Someone must stay at the bottom and pull a rope. Once the other person reaches the top, they can send the elevator back down and pick up the player and haul them upstairs. However, should one person stop pulling, the person in the service elevator will crash to the bottom and be put instantly on red, regardless of jug. The second option is funding the stairs to the basement and unlocking the door for 750. This leads to the **** please report this topic, post ****. To be continued...... I have to work on a tablet with a keyboard. Since i already wrote it, i have to put the font color in, cut the /color part, then paste it and the end. It sounds easy except it really isnt :P

Actually, this is very true. Through my EE hunting, at a certain time, Stu hears Rich say something about how far his power truly extends. Bottomline: It isnt that far. He can do stuff like control zombies and stuff but sa far as something that complcated? nah. However, that is probably why he wants all these steps done! So that he can gain more power!

I dont actually believe this is a glitch. I think this was there by design. However, within the next few days, if it is changed, that means it will work well. I aplogise to the person above you but how do i take pictures? I do not own a capture card and i am not a very talented computer worker . I dont know how to post screenies. Please ANYONE PM me on how to do this. Thanks for the advice and keep hunting!

Hello fellow zombie slayers! I have recently acquired info on how to begin and do the easter egg! I have tried these steps my self and they do work so dont worry about being trolled! THIS GUIDE HAS THE COMPLETE RICHTOFEN SIDE (as of current)! I will continue to add info as i see them and will cite the sources properly. So without further ado, let us begin! Before you start you MUST build the navcard table The basic items currently needed: -sliquifier -sniper -power (on) -4 players So a quick intro: The battle rages on! Maxis and Richtofen compete to gain your trust and complete their side of the war! Neither side has a clear outcome of their plan but they will help you on your mission! Choose wisely..... Step 1 (Joke): Find a good team -As always, a good team is better than randoms! Step 1 (real): The power -Get to power and turn it on. The easter egg can be done with power and is actually necessary. step 2: the tiles -There are several tiles in elevators all over die rise. locate the 4 (one per elevator) and stand on it at the same time. This should light them up -Now you must look for 3 other tiles on the floor. There are several locations for these so look around. They must be activated in a specific order. Step 3: The sniper and the balls -So we have all heard of these magic balls and we are like "How do we shoot em down?" Well, you probably had the wrong step. First, one must get a sniper rifle (the SDV is best but it doesnt matter). Then, since step 2 should be complete, you can now shoot the orbs (best place to shoot from is spawn IMO). This will cause them to disappear and reappear at the starting room under the feet of the Lions. Then audio can be heard. WARNING! UP AHEAD IS THE BREAKING POINT! YOU WILL PICK A SIDE NOW. Step 4: Killing spree (MAXIS SIDE) (Special thanks to user optimus, GT zombies, and TZ for these next steps) -So it seems you must a kill a lot of zombies in the Budhha Escher-room (the room after the AN-94). After a while MAxis will exclaim: "Enough!". Step 5: Have Krauss Refibrilator, Will revive (MAXIS SIDE) (I dont know who to thank so my most clear source is NGT Zombies) -You must now have an upgraded ballistic knife. Then Russman must down himself while he has Who's-who. Revive him and Maxis will speak of energy fields and such. JUST TO BE SAFE, DO THIS IN THE BUDDHA ROOM! Step 6: The Lions Balls (MAXIS SIDE) (Again, Thanks to NGT Zombies for providing this step) -You must now take the orbs from under the lions. Have one person take one and another person for the other. Everyone must now get trample steams. There are 4 lion tiles on the map. 2 near spawn (one in spawn and one near the elevator) and 2 near the tower (1 is buy the lone elevator and the other is around the roof top). Have the Trample hover over the tile until it sets. Once it sets, it cannot be moved. Place the orb on it when prompted and it will fling it towards the tower. [/ color] Step 7: The Tower and Mahjong tiles Finale! (MAXIS SIDE) -Similar to the Richtofen side of the Easter Egg, You must now acquire the galvaknuckles. Look for the Mahjong tiles on the map which tell the order. Please refer to NGT Zombies easter egg guide to learn which specifically mean which. When you have the order ready, use it on the tower. Again, if you have completed Richtofen's side, this is the same idea. Step 4: The Sliqifier (RICHTOFEN SIDE) -What is an easter egg without some Wonder Weapons to liven things up! You grab the sliquifier and take it back to spawn. Use it on the balls under the lions paw until they spin. Richtofen will then be pleased and will speak. Step 5: the Zombie tiles on the floor (RICHTOFEN SIDE) (Special thanks to users TZ and Steezy for this next step!) -There are 4 Zombie tiles scattered in a few places. Find all of them and have them facing the spire. Launch zombies continually into the tower using the Steam Flingers. After a while, the "Blood sacrifice" will suffice and some more sparks will appear on richtofens dragon. Step 6 FINALE!: The Galvaknuckles (RICHTOFENS SIDE) (Special thanks to Steezy for this final part!) -So Basically one must buy the galvaknuckles and use them on the tower. There are your blue edges that need to be knifed so as to power the spire. Knife them each a few times and the spire will illuminate power! CONGRATS! Richtofen is pleased! High maintenance is now unlocked ....Except it isnt as easy as randomly hitting it. They must be hit in a certain order. Hidden on the map are several mahjong tiles. Each one represents one pole of the tower. Check out NGT Zombies guide for where they can be (will add video when i get home) Hint: The dragons tails will light up signaling the progression of Richtofen or Maxis side of the easter egg; The navcard table can be built but the actual reason for it is still unknown. THIS GUIDE HAS COMPLETE RICHTOFENS SIDE! I am looking to the rest of the community and fellow EE hunters to help and continue the hunt! I have merely posted the steps i have discovered through research. Please feel free to add ANY info that will help with the solving of this complicated EE. I will give proper credit to any info that is added. Special thanks to the NGT zombie team: Spiderbite, Hypermole, And their other 2 associates (will update names when i remember). They have helped me get started with the easter egg and i hope this will help you all get started as well! Thanks to TZ and Steezy for their info on the lion tiles and what to do with them! Die Rise Easter Egg - Progress Thread (Unsolved)

I say we give them a chance. They could be the next "birdcagedan" but honestly what harm can it do? However, i think that we should get SOME hints. Like how to start? Honestly i dont even know. -
I am going to defend this map in several ways : 1. Power and jugg ARE NOT HARD TO GET! I know you didnt complain about it but lets bring it to mind. Green Run and several people have asked for it to be more accesibble and Treyarch listened. So that is a +1. 2. Wonder weapons is easy to get, simple, AND DOESNT BREAK. The sliquifier is one of my new favorite weapons in zombies. It is buildable one round 2 and is a fun and awesome weapon. People wanted better wonderweapons and we got it! +1 for Treyarch 3. Map size is DECENT. True it is not the huge map but honestly, Green run was fun and all but the size was annoying. I can take the fog (tbh it is more of a nuissance than a challenge) but people i play with usually can't so i end up being the last one alive EVERY ROUND. The map is is perfect in my opinion. Just enough room to run hoards (budhha room; more that i could say but dont have a name for ). 4. A minus side/plus side for Treyarch: Weapons. The cons: I really cant find box; in the confusion; it is really far away. The pros: THE AN-94, A WEAPONS THAT IS BASICALLY AN AK-74 HAS MADE IT TO ZOMBIES! This is such a winning point that has won over my approval of this game. We have all asked for the AK but this is dam close enough! Another pro: the wonderweapon (already explained why thats awesome!) The PDW. However i really love what they have done. They are teaching us to use the weapons at our disposal rather than having us use the box which we all know usually leads to hoarding. Now that it is harder to access, we learn to use other weapons. And honestly, I dont use box anymore. Really, i dont. I use AN-94 (PAP), RM870 (PAP), and the sliquifier. Overall, i think a review or criticism is too early. However, this is undeniably one of my new favorite maps. Yes it is hard and tedious but compared to Green run? Id rather take a "leap" of faith on Die Rise :D

To be honest, I think we should wait a little. There is so much stuff going on right now. I literally took like 1 hours to get the wonder weapons AND I USED A GuIDE XD. I think we need to explore a bit more then dive into the easter egg. However, current thoughts: -the sliquifier will be used -something with the navcard table -whatever happens, i think a building is going down Anyway best of luck! I am loving the map so far. If it does become the next Shangri-la fine by meh. I loved it .

So ive been playing for a good hour now and idecided i would do an honest opinion review (just for a moment) FREAKIN AWESOME! however, i do need help and i decided this forum is the best place to start a thread on map layout! So far i have found a few places (too many deaths=not a lot of location found ) -the start room lobby -elevator shaft takes you to the the sowing and cages area (where the sliguidator can be created (on a side note: WTF Treyarch another buildable?! but at least it has ammo!) -THe escher room (the big one with the buddha statues or whatever) -power room -roof That is mostly it......THAT I REMEMBER! (i reeally hope Treyarch made more but i havent explored yet!) So please add data as we go along and please please limit the opnions. THIS IS NOT AN OPINION THREAD! This is for locations. If you are helpful at adding data i will list your name in the credits! Again, Please limit this to mostly area and locations!

AS i said in a seperate topic: The trailer is one of my fave ways to get pumped for a map. It gives you just enough of a look to get me extremely excited. With out it i feel a little dissapointed. However, do i think the map will suck? HELL NO I know Treyarch will make it good. We followed Treyarch this far and they know better than to let us down. I trust em completely but without a trailer my EXCITEMENT went down, not my willingness to play an awesome new map!

oooooh. this is interesting. they release on Saturdays? didnt know that..... Anyway i wouldnt boycott it never . I am simply saying my excitement factor just fell and the fact that they might not release one got me paranoid. However thanks to our wonderful sight any many contributors, I have discovered many things: 1. There are several trailers being released tonight. 2. They apparantly do sometimes show up on saturdays 3. Some info has been leaked on actual gameplay which is really exciting! I have a small ray of hope but you better believe i am hanging on it until tommorrow. Even maybe tonight! (if the rumor is true)

I dunno about you guys but right now i am thinking: "Treyarch...where the hell is my trailer?" Me and my buddies have a long standing record of watching the trailer and dissecting. We built up excitement from it and it was really fun too. But now i feel that Treyarch is going to pass this trailer up. I dont know why but i really think they arent gonna do one. Many credible resources have told me that trailers are COMMONLY released on teusday, wednesday, or thursday. it is nearly 12 here and still no sign of a trailer. I truly am disappointed. I would have thought they would look out for us zombies fans more but i guess not. That aside i really wanna say i hope i am wrong. I really do. If they prove me wrong and release one BEFORE the map (what the hell would be the point of releasing it after?) only then will they regain the respect i have lost for Treyarch. They know we would love to see a trailer so why did they not do it? It just wont add up..... Anyone else have thoughts on this? I do check this sight regularly to see if any new news has shown up so please reply here if you find news (even just rumors) about the trailer. Happy zombies killing all!
