There are some good responses above, but the reason I think you hear the term "Endgame" in Black Ops 2 is because if this article - Playstation Magazines interview with Rez Elghazi Scary stories “There is a narrative in Tranzit, and an endgame of sorts. Death is the most common ending, but it’s not necessarily the only ending. Pay attention to dialogue between the four new heroes and you’ll begin to unravel the mystery behind the zombie takeover of Earth.” This was obviously published before Mob of the Dead, which actually had a different endgame, but because of this article the term "endgame" has been thrown around like them missing piece to Tranzit.

I can confirm this is active on Die Rise aswell. I can't confirm the criteria though. I was trying to get the "shafted" achievement (use PaP & all perk machines). I bought 4 Perks-a-Cola, downed myself with a grenade, got revived & still had 3 perks. I was p**sed because then I had to down myself again to be able to buy the other 2 perks. I used the bank, purchased 4 perks on early rounds (not sure what round it was though, possibly round 3). I had not noticed the Green Mist either.

I don't like stating something without showing some proof, but I can't post a screenshot for another day or so. In the candy/sweets store, there are candy box's (the ones with the skull on them) which says "est 1901" (or it says "established 190?" - I can't make out what the last number is) The clearest one to view is on the ground near the front window(inside between the counter & the barrels in the window). I think it's either an orange or yellow box & light is shining on it which makes it clearer. I took screenshots last night, but I won't be home for another day or so. It's worth a look.

I was truely stoked with your post/discovery MMX as I hadn't noticed or gone into theatre mode on buried. Great find. As I said, Tesla's AC induction motor was based from Faraday's AC Motor. The day they include a picture of Tesla, I will loose my S**t. All references to Tesla are fairly indirect. I will post them in your storyline thread. Nice find once again.

I forgot to mention, I think I got the "loose 1 perk when you get downed" perk on Die Rise yesterday. I was trying to get the "Shafted" achievement (use PaP & all perk machines in 1 game). I had 4 perks - QR, Jugg, DTII & Mule Kick. Cooked a grenade next to Jugg, got revived & still had 3 perks? I think I only lost Quick Revive? I'll have to look at my theatre video again to confirm what may have happened.
-
BSZombie made a post about persistent Jugg now taking more down to be enabled, but it may be a combination of previous low rounds & downs. I'm sure I got it on die rise a few days ago after my second down (2 consecutive games) on round 1 after no kills. (I was away when the game started) I can confirm that the X2 (double points) half price purchases is in affect on Die Rise aswell. Not sure about TranZit? I haven't figured out the criteria for gaining or loosing. Whereas PHD is only in Buried.

Nice find MMX (or whoever found this). I only looked at Buried for the first time in theatre mode last night. Laughed when I saw the picture & read your post MMX. As some people may know the heavy involvement of (and how much I bang on about) Nikola Tesla within COD Zombies, I really enjoyed the discovery of Michael Faraday's picture in Buried. Michael Farady was one of Nikola Tesla's heroes. It was Faraday's Alternating Current Motor that Tesla improved (as such) which is used in so many appliances in today's technology. AC Motor history http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/AC_motor Here is a brief history of one of Nikola Tesla's heroes! - Michael Faraday http://home.earthlink.net/~drestinblack/faraday.htm Michael Faraday Born: September 22, 1791 Died: August 25, 1867 Another fun Fact about births & Deaths - Amedeo Avogadro Born: August 9, 1776 Died: July 9, 1856 Nikola Tesla Born - 10 July 1856 Died - 7 January 1943 As you can see, Nikola Tesla was born the day after Avogadro's death. I find that very interesting.

Original post is coming along nicely..... How about a "Sticky"?

I can see some quality forum signatures with those images. Brains Way.

I was watching a 5and5 twitch stream and he was using this strategy. At the time he was on round 34 or 44. He uses the resonator to wipe out the whole hoard. Though I didn't see what he did before those rounds, this is a high round strategy. The resonator is a beast. It is it's own Wunder weapon. The video below is a 2 player game but it was the same strategy as his live stream. Also watch the loops that he runs to hoarde them up. He has the turbine on the ledge above where he places the resonator. Props to 5and5, your a legendary Zombie slayer, I hope you come back to CoDz.

Delta has made a post about buying Juggernog for half price & it seems everything you have bought is half price too. It's unexplained as far as I know Check this thread. http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=152&t=33646 I will link your thread in his too

I've been noticing random green mist (on Die Rise) in front of me and it's been on double points. Then I've heard the sound of loosing the perk. When I get it & when I've lost it, I'm like what is causing that? I did notice it was on double points a few times. I have never checked my points score while in double points. Nice find & thanks. Edit - BobbyofCanada has a thread were everything he bought was half pricehttp://www.callofdutyzombies.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=152&t=33650&p=315773#p315773

Maxis' opening audio says something like "we need to power the tower above ground" Nice screenshots Nai.

Have you inserted all 3 Navcards? And what colour are the menu map icons?

Maxis is Brock from Shangri-La
PINNAZ replied to A Drunk Soviet's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I've always thought it seemed strange to include new characters Brock & Gary. Though I don't think they are the same peron, good theory. There are a few similarities/coincidences. Maxis & Brock/Gary similarities. All where trapped in a tunnel. All where at Shangri-la (Richtofen says Maxis created the 31-79 JGb215) Both talk of trying to get to Agartha Anything else? where is it stated Brock's surname is Russman? -
I think there have been many Persistant Perks added to Die Rise. I had Green mist everywhere in my last game. It was showing up a few feet (as such) in front of me, with no zombies around. No idea what this was. There were a few which I'm unsure of but I think there have been many added since the release of Buried.

Thanks for this Thread BSZombie. I completely filled my bank in 2 games. Since buried had been released I had emptied my bank. I played a game of Die Rise & could only withdraw 11,000 points. I made it to round 34 or so & put around 100,000 in the bank. I then played another game & got to round 41. I nearly made 200,000 points in that game alone. My strategy - - Put Tramplesteam parts on Quick Revive elevator (or just build it on round 1) - Go to showers (bank) & withdraw 10,000 to 15,000 points (cash back helps) - Turn on power - Buy 4 perks, build Sliqufier & buy claymores - Buy AN-94 (& or) PDW (& or Mustang & Sally) - Go to budda room & lay down claymores in the corner of the top level - Use tramplesteam & claymores to get the other 2 perks from Jumping Jacks. Then, once you have all perks, save 2 slow walkers, - Jump from budda room to showers & deposit points so far, - Set up tramplesteam so you can jump back to the budda room. - (use M&S & claymores for jumping jack rounds once you have all perks) Repeat this last process whenever you want to bank your points. (if you have a fast runner, just pull out the Sliqufier while your depositing points to kill them if they get to close) Full bank - very fast. Thanks again mate

I really like the 'new' look of the Ray Gun, it's good that they gave it a facelift to be included with the Rat Gun MkII. You could also say the same about the Perks-a-Colas. In Verrückt, the bottles label says Juggernaut & Sleight of Hand. The Juggernaut poster on the wall also said this name. In Shi No Numa the machines advertised the amount of points they cost, rather than the 10cents. And Der Reise, the machines changed back to 10cents & the bottles changed to what they are now - Jugger-nog & Speed Cola.

That's why they are called "Persistent Perks" not "Perma Perks", because you have to be persistent in keeping the perk. Example 1. - You gain PHD Flopper by falling from a certain height that causes damage (5 or 6 times or whatever), you then have to use the ability of that perk when falling (Dolphin Diving) to keep the perk. So if you take fall damage without dolphin diving, you will loose it. You have to be persistent. Example 2. - Cash Back. If you go to prone in front of the perk machines (every time) after you have drunk a perk, you will gain the cashback perk. This refunds a portion of your money spent. In World at War, if you went prone infront of the perk machines you would gain 25 points. That's probably why they have made it like this in BOII. To keep it, every perk you drink you have to go to prone, if you don't, you will loose it. "Persistent Perks" not "Perma Perks"

This outcome in Buried makes me think that there will be 2 different maps with DLC4. I don't know how it would work if you hadn't completed any side quests, but having TranZit, Die Rise & Buried all locked in & the towers transmitting, it seems that 2 completely different maps/scenario's could be possible. This could explain why you can reset all 3 maps EE by pressing the box in Buried, giving you access to both maps? Hopefully. It would be good if there was more hidden backstory somewhere within buried yet to be discovered. But doubtful.

Does the resonator work for that step?????

@ Way2g00 You should add this video to the Maxis guide. It's awesome & highly detailed. Props to DjTechnicsZRT. Great video Mate! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-rMygRHr7A
