  1. Good job DJ & congrats. Should include this in the EE Stickied thread. (I fixed your link too)
  2. Though Richtofen is such a character, he has some hilarious quotes (especially in this Side Quest), I want to know about the mystery man Maxis. The next map will have some great outcomes to look forward to for both sides.
  3. I'm sure you can get free perks by giving him candy next to the perk machines & then proceeding to buy the perk as you normally would. Anyone want to try this. I'm at work ATM.
  4. Would you mind writing a list of abilities in text format?
  5. Everybodies dead. They just get reincarnated to "begin anew". Thats the cycle. But we still hold a Navcard, so the characters will be in the next map.
  6. So that's who's playing the Saloon piano. That's a cool find there. Brains
  7. Great post GRILL. Lots of cool info & the very first mission in BOII. I like your link of each of the campaign characters. @ Jason. Australia! That's a cool link for the central plates. Though I think the map is in Africa because of the name, it's definetly a messed up map! We only know of 1 exact location of where the moon missles landed (Nuketown) & China is practically above Australia, so I don't think it is Australia, but it seems like something has shifted. Australia went through the Gold Rush era at the same time as America. Some great history is the "Eureka Stockade". Livingstone mine may be a reference to Peter Livingston (Zombie Dev) Australia has been hinted at a few times, Kookaburra's in Shi No Numa. I haven't heard the didgeridoo, I think what you hear may be a Native Amrican sound instead? The books in MOTD that is titled mine ??? (can't remember). And in TranZit we have the magazine. Wow, sorry to go sor far off topic. But great post GRILL, I haven't started looking at anything story related yet. Buried is a fun map so far, looks of little tricks to do.
  8. Awesome job guys. Thanks so much Way2g00 for writing out both versions so promptly!!!
  9. I think it's possible to get back up to the catwalk using the Paralyzer. You could also buy the LSAT.
  10. Sorry Way, I only just saw your thread. You posted the same video. Sorry mate.
  11. I saw this video (Credit to Kerrguson) in which he has the same effect, he only looses 1 Perk when he goes down. However, he has called it "Candy Perk". He is carrying candy when he gets downed, but by the look of it, you don't have candy in your inventory? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hf3UV5FbmTQ&feature=youtube_gdata_player
  12. Nice find. We're you able to transcribe the audio? Did it sound like there would be more to the transmission? As in, that was only the first half?
  13. Mind your language Mr Moderator! 8-) Hopefully there will be hidden audio dialogue NOT coming from the same TV's
  14. They were at the "Great Pyramids of Giza"!!! in Egypt. I really thought that would be a final map, maybe in the next game???
  15. You can refer to this thread that is currently half way down the forum as a guide. http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=152&t=33105
  16. Sorry, I meant where did you go (what is your strategy) when you fill up the bank and the round ends? It's not the greatest spot to start a new round after 15ish.
  17. "Continental Rifting" http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rift Great Rift Valley http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_rift_valley East African Rift http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_African_Rift
  18. Wow, Zombies is changing. "We will never do a cut-scene" I was hoping this kind of backstory would be hidden within the map. Let's hope that there is some hidden stuff, not just audio from the same TV. Again.
  19. Rifts & Tectonic Plates..... African Plate The African Plate is a tectonic plate which includes the continent of Africa, as well as oceanic crust which lies between the continent and various surrounding ocean ridges. The African Plate includes several cratons, stable blocks of old crust with deep roots in the subcontinental lithospheric mantle, and less stable terranes, which came together to form the African continent during the assembly of the supercontinent Pangea around 550 million years ago. The cratons are, from south to north, the Kalahari craton, Congo craton, Tanzania craton and West African craton. The cratons were widely separated in the past, but came together during the Pan-African orogeny and stayed together when Gondwana split up. The cratons are connected by orogenic belts, regions of highly deformed rock where the tectonic plates have engaged. The Saharan Metacraton has been tentatively identified as the remains of a craton that has become detached from the subcontinental lithospheric mantle, but alternatively may consist of a collection of unrelated crustal fragments swept together during the Pan-African orogeny. In some areas, the cratons are covered by sedimentary basins, such as the Tindouf basin, Taoudeni basin and Congo basin, where the underlying archaic crust is overlaid by more recent Neoproterozoic sediments. The plate includes shear zones such as the Central African Shear Zone (CASZ) where, in the past, two sections of the crust were moving in opposite directions, and rifts such as the Anza trough where the crust was pulled apart, and the resulting depression filled with more modern sediment. (I'll update this thread when I get more time)
  20. I've been restocking my bank balance as I depleted it trying to get EMP's for the TranZit Side quest so long ago. I haven't played a lot of Zomb's lately, but DLC week I get a free pass from my other half. There better be a shiteload of story in this map. Explainable story, not more unanswerable questions.

Whilst writing a thread about Sodom and Gomorrah – Brimstone to Damnation HERE, I came across the "Albertine Rift". Though only coincidental by name, I thought it was a fitting title to include in this thread. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albertine_Rift The Albertine Rift is the western branch of the East African Rift, covering parts of Uganda, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Rwanda, Burundi and Tanzania. It extends from the northern end of Lake Albert to the southern end of Lake Tanganyika. The geographical term includes the valley and the surrounding mountains. The Albertine Rift and the mountains are the result of tectonic movements that are gradually splitting the Somali Plate away from the rest of the African continent. The mountains surrounding the rift are composed of uplifted Pre-Cambrian basement rocks, overlaid in parts by recent volcanic rocks. Haha. Something different.
  22. Kind of off topic but, where/what was your route being there at the start of the round? It's a bitch of a spot to start the round, especially over 15ish. Sliqufier while waiting for the power elevators?
  23. Great tips once again Mr BS Zombie. I totally forgot about the 'Cash Back' perk. Very handy. You can also back up into the shower whilst depositing your points. This way you can still keep an eye out if you have a fast runner or jumping jack on the loose.
  24. Electronic Processing? Hmm, I never thought of that relation to Maxis. Nice idea Nai. I do like the idea of a "No Man's Land area. Lots of people would like that. My first thought of 'Return to Processing' (being that we are in a mining town) is a mineral processing area. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mineral_processing Couple this with the idea of a No Man's Land area, perhaps this is the starting/spawning point of the map. Maybe this has conveyor belts that are the escape mechanism to the main map? This would be a cool way to enter underground? I've been thinking that the hint on the Die Rise loading screen is a 'Coin Press' or something similar. Something like this.
  25. I hope there isn't another tower involved. Before Die Rise came out I made a thread about needing an earthing point & I thought the Side Quest would involve going underground & 'connecting' or harnessing something to the earth? Though the Buried Trophy/Achievements don't really hint anything at all. The Tower needs an Earth The 5 elements are really starting to show themselves in the story now. Fire Air Earth Water Æther (Quinta Essentia) Or the "Seven Chakras" Or maybe this is all referencing Alchemy with Sulphur, Mercury & The Philosopher's Stone? 1 more day until release!
