  1. The symbols I'm talking about are just like the one that shows you where your 'downed' character is in afterlife, except, these appear (up to 4 of them) whilst alive. The icon just hovers (like you see in afterlife) above the ground in random spots that are all within the map. (sorry, hard to explain)
  2. We all knew 3arc took a lot of inspiration from Indiana Jones, this pretty much confirms it. Nuketown http://community.activision.com/community/call_of_duty_xp_blog/blog/2011/09/03/treyarch-reveals-the-black-ops-multiplayer-you-never-saw Nuketown wasn’t built in a day. Actually, it was built in two. Nuketown was a happy accident and was never officially planned. According to Dan Bunting, Vahn saw Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull one night and came in the next day saying “We need to do a map like this!” So the team looked at old nuclear test footage -- “we watched movies of towers been blown to smithereens and it was really inspiring.”
  3. What is the deal when the 4 Blue afterlife symbols light up in random locations & everyone can see them? They change locations randomly over time. What causes them? Why do they disappear 1 by 1? You can't see them in the afterlife either.
  4. PHD is leaning up on some box's on its side. I'm sure it's not reachable nor usable.
  5. I think Flammen got the Death machine first go. It was like "DEATH MACHINE FROM THE BOX!!!!" PHD Flopper appears aswell along with another Perk machine at the docks, although its another classic troll from the masters of deception. Well spotted Infest Lithium
  6. Hello there. Check this threa out, particularly the last few posts which are recent. http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=145 Hope this helps
  7. Congratulations Flammen & Mr Lithium. Keep it up.
  8. I found this while looking through my old World at War intel. Seems relevant. Weapon Focus - Thompson Sub-Machine Gun Inspired by the unique trench warfare that dominated World War I, General John T. Thompson set out to invent a one-man, hand-held machine gun designed to stand up in a new era of war. His dream was finally realized in 1919 with the release of the Thompson submachine gun. Arguably the first submachine gun to ever be massed-produced, the Thompson became wildly popular during America’s prohibition age and was a favorite among Depression-era gangsters. Its use became iconic in both Hollywood and the real world, including the bloody Saint Valentine’s Day Massacre in Chicago. However, it would not be until World War II that the Thompson would be used as John T. Thompson originally envisioned. Designed as a means to quickly eliminate enemy soldiers hiding in the trenches, the gun proved so effective as to be dubbed the “Trench Broom” and “Trench Sweeper.” Its compact size as well as its large .45 ACP cartridges and high automatic rate of fire made it a favorite among soldiers on the frontline. The US adopted the Thompson into its arsenal for WWII and continued its use into the early stages of the Vietnam War. Tips for the Thompson • The Thompson is a great gun for clearing buildings and tight corridors. Utilize its low recoil and shoot from the hip to neutralize enemies within a short range. • Combined with the Drum Magazine attachment, soldiers can hold tightly onto the trigger without the worry of running empty. For those unconcerned with lasting power, equip the Double Tap perk for an incredibly rapid and lethal delivery. • The Thompson can be a huge upgrade from the pistol or any of the available rifles during Zombie matches due to its rapid fire. Acquire it as quickly as possible to aid in racking up points until you can purchase more powerful weaponry available in the later rounds of the match.
  9. Fixed your chart Mr Lithium And let's hope they have fixed the bug where the only way to download Die Rise was through the multiplayer menu.
  10. An isn't it ironic. Benn posted a video of the Great Leap Forward secret radio on Kino a year beforehand & didn't realise what Die Rise was going to be about. Also, he can't really take credit for 'predicting' everything in Motd if he's getting info spoon feed to him by someone on the inside, but so many people don't realise this.

  15. Nice work Mr Eclipse. You should type out all of your findings & include them in your original post.
  16. For Die Rise we got about 10 seconds worth of Zombies in the trailer. For mob of the Dead we get a Zombies preview in the replacer trailer, a 6 minute behind the scenes trailer & an outright Zombies only trailer. Can't wait for this map!
  17. What you are talking about is actually the power. Take the 'Medicine Man' symbol & add the electricity bolts, you get the 'Afterlife ' symbol.
  18. I must of missed this topic, sorry. I made a thread about what it could possibly be, though it is very hard to get credible background information on. HERE - Afterlife Symbol = Medicine Man's Eye Medicine Man's Eye http://www.whats-your-sign.com/eye-of-the-medicine-man-symbol.html http://www.warpaths2peacepipes.com/native-american-symbols/eye-medicine-man-symbol.htm
  19. Though it would be good if each character had a different ability or trait, I believe this is refering to the Side Quest. Each character may have a certain role that is required to peform a step. This is probably why it shows the characters name next to your score so you know who you are. I can't wait!
  20. Not that I play multiplayer, but I really like your idea of a golden or diamond camo or some custom camo's for your standard or perhaps your PaP'd gun. This is probably a good way to kind of customise your game & add some type of reward without changing gameplay mechanics. There's probably a few things such as this that could be customised & tweaked causing no major changes. Perks are great of course but to me it's still a but of a meh reward.
